This is true Italian cuisine. All the pasta was perfectly cooked (Gnocchi, Tagliatelle, Spaghetti, Pene). The sauces were delicious! The Arancini was amusing. No food was left when we left. I highly recommend eating here! You will not be disappointed.
Yesterday, I'd like to share my awesome experience with James who works as a server/bartender. Sesame and Wild Oregano - 8.3/10 Meatballs - 7.9/10 Arugula and Pear Salad - 7.7/10 Spicy Salami Pizza - 8.6/10 Seasonal Flavored Cheesecake - 9.4/10 I'd like to thank James the server/bartender for the amazing and delicious Italian food and I gave him an amazing 15% tip since yesterday. I rate the italian food at Bar Parioli by Botte - 94.3/100% because I gave you an A+. Restaurant in Astoria of the Year 2024-2025, you deserve an award.
I decided to give Parioli a try knowing some people had posted bad things about the food. I'm so glad I did. I'm very picky with carbonara, preferring the typical Italian preparation rather than what most places in the United States serve. Not only was the sauce fantastic, the ravioli was perfectly al dente, and the chicken I added was grilled perfectly. I'll definitely be back.
Bar Parioli blew me away with its charm, but it was Sofie behind the bar who made the experience unforgettable. Her energy was welcoming, her knowledge impressive, and her cocktails? Next level. I ordered an espresso martini on a whim, and I’m still thinking about it. Perfectly balanced, rich and smooth with that signature creamy top—and those three espresso beans just sitting like a crown. It wasn’t just a drink, it was a vibe. Easily one of the best I’ve had in the city. If you’re looking for a spot that nails both atmosphere and quality drinks, Bar Parioli is it. And if you’re lucky enough to sit at Sofie’s bar, trust me—you’re in good hands.
Stumbled upon here after work and was met with the greatest staff. Sofie and James ! At first I just wanted a drink but after experiencing the vibe here I stayed for a bit more, The chicken parm in my opinion is one of the best I ever had and don’t get me started on the spicy rigatoni… TO DIE FOR . Throughout my whole visit the banter with the staff and the quality of the food and drinks, this is a regular spot for me now. Maybe even a hidden GEM if sofie is on the bar expresso martini or aperol spritz is the way to go !
This place was amazing! The service was very nice, Ibrahim was an excellent server brought us very nice drinks. The food was exceptional. The pizza was so nice and thin.
Absolutely amazing! Every time we come it’s always top notch. Service is always fast, drinks are strong, and the food is even better. If you’re lucky you’ll run into the owner who makes you feel at home. Couldn’t recommend it more!

Drinks were great! Bartenders and servers here are the best! All cocktails were top notch! I really liked the espresso martinis that James crafted with Skrewball whiskey! Can’t wait to have it again! Arrividerci Patrioli!
Ibrahim our waiter was so great! We got the arancini, burrata, margherita, focaccia, and chicken Milanese, and aperol spritz, plus complimentary limoncello shots, everything was so delicious! Also, they were super accommodating with our kids. Definitely coming back.
Stumbled upon this spot while trying to find dinner on Ditmars and was SO pleased. The interior was lovely, and it’s lovely to sit by the open windows on a sunny day. The service was great, and the food was delicious. The vodka sauce did not disappoint. Definitely recommend if you’re looking for good pasta in Astoria!
Great happy hour deals! I loved the eggplant parm — super flavorful and comforting. The server was really friendly and made the whole experience even better. Definitely coming back!
I tried Parioli for the first time after a bad day. They totally turned it around. The staff was so great I can't wait to go back. Adrian and James made me feel at home. Get the chicken parm, you won't regret it. A perfect martini as well.
Bar Parioli saved our night! On a hopeless, rainy evening when our apartment lost power, we stumbled upon this gem. The friendly and accommodating staff immediately made us feel welcome. Our server Sofie was especially friendly and attentive. The food was fantastic, and the atmosphere was cozy and comforting. I had the homemade gnocchi along with fried eggplant, and my fiancé had the spicy rigatoni. Both were delicious. Bar Parioli turned a disaster of a night for us into a delightful experience. Highly recommend.

Such a beautiful space! The food and drinks are wonderful and the service is lovely. It’s the perfect blend of casual, while still feeling like a special treat. The seats inside by the open windows are the perfect middle ground of indoor and outdoor dining.
We've been going to various Botte locations for years, and happy to say that despite the change in restaurant concept, this one is still really good. The cocktails are solid and the food is delicious and reasonably priced - appetizer, focaccia, entrees, and a side plus drinks for two ran us just about $100. Staff was also incredible, they were super kind and attentive. If you're feeling wild, try the carbonara with rigatoni (by suggestion of the staff) instead of spaghetti, you won't regret it!
Average at best and I’ve written hundreds of unbiased reviews so I really don’t wish to get into all the details. I can honestly say service is far and above better than their food. If you wish to hang and have a casual drink with conversation, this is a good spot. Anyone thinking of dining… well don’t say I didn’t warn you. My review is based on a Saturday night 8 PM experience and the restaurant was a 1/4 full. It’s gotta be for a good reason.
I have ordered twice from Bar Parioli, an offshoot/restaurant rebranding of its parent restaurant, Botte. I have actually never tried Botte, but learned after I ordered that this restaurant is affiliated with them and located within the same space. My review is based on a few delivery orders placed, as I have not dined in. So far, I have tried a few things from the menu: (Pricing below indicative of Ubereats/Postmates pricing) 1st order: -Rigatoni vodka w (Sausage add-on) - $21.00 -Fried calamari and zucchini - $17 -Olive Oil and Flaky Sea Salt Focaccia - $8 Total: $57.93 2nd order: -Chicken Parmigiana w Rigatoni - $25 -Pesto Rigatoni w (Sausage add-on) - $21 -Caesar Salad w (chicken add-on) - $20 -Fried calamari and Zucchini - $17 -Olive Oil and Flaky Sea Salt Focaccia - $8 Total:$110.06 Not great, but not altogether bad for today's market. While I would not consider myself a lover of overly sauced pasta dishes, the spicy vodka rigatoni dish was on the drier side and could have used a bit more vodka sauce. Not looking for them to be overcooked, but the rigatoni was not as supple as they could have been and seemed dried out. Sausage was hearty and cut into big chunks to accompany the pasta, but was not really incorporated into the dish and was thrown on top as the add on, leading me to believe that the actual pasta was not properly tossed, but seemed to be prepared separately. The portion was also on the smaller side, so if you are thinking of splitting this entree with someone, you will need to buy some additional sides in order to make it a filling meal. The chicken parmigiana w rigatoni was more generously sauced, but I had some textural issues with the chicken, which I did not enjoy and would not get again. The calamari and zucchini were fine. I love fried calamari and zucchini so no complaints, but you will need to reheat this appetizer upon arrival as the container does not have any ventilation holes and it will get soggy. The focaccia, was more flatbread adjacent than what I was used to/expecting and was nothing special. For the $8, you can skip it. The other two options (sesame and oregano or calabrian chili focaccia) were not as exciting either and were more expensive. Botte actually had a rosemary option listed on their menu and i think they could stand to perhaps include. Caesar salad...was a caesar salad. Again, nothing to write home about. I am a lover of pesto and was extremely disappointed in the entree. Sometimes pesto can be hit or miss...too salty, too oily. The latter was the case and the pasta was swimming in oil and the sausage that I purchased to include was ground and was completely lost in the pasta and not at all detectable or similar to the rigatoni vodka dish's sausage. The pool of oil made the dish inedible and it needed to be tossed. I would not get that again. I wanted to give them another shot, but called the restaurant to inquire how the pesto dish would be prepared, but between the noise and language barrier, it was impossible to confirm, so I decided to order elsewhere that evening. All in all not a bad place, but like most restaurants, there is definitely room for improvement.

Staff A++ super friendly and attentive Atmosphere A++ very chill and relaxing As for the food, I ordered the chicken parm and spice vodka rigatoni. The chicken parm was below average very mushy and salty. The pasta was at best average if not below. I’d say come with friends for a drink or two maybe share something small. Don’t come for the food exclusively, especially if you love Italian dishes!
If you’re gonna serve multiple dishes made with Parmesan, at least use fresh Parmesan. Also, the cacio e Pepe sauce was broken and aside from that I couldn’t taste any pecorino, which is the signature cheese for this dish. I’d only go back for drinks and maybe if they start to use slightly better quality ingredients

We had seen Bar Paroli on several Instagram stories, and living in the neighborhood, wanted to check out this new spot that looked like a great vibe! Our drinks were good, but the food was extremely disappointing. The portions were extremely small/overpriced, and definitely did not feel homemade. The eggplant parm was just fine, and left still hungry. My husband ordered the spicy vodka rigatoni, and added sausage—felt like boxed pasta and jar sauce. Hoping this place can figure out the food, as it’s a great corner spot on Ditmars with potential and a cool atmosphere.

Frustrating experience. Menu says chicken parm with rigatoni , waiter brings spaghetti, does nothing about it until I ask twice. Then kitchen says there out of rigatoni , and nothing is done, until it’s noticed we’re visibly frustrated. This was for a birthday and three people didn’t get what they wanted without warning. However , in the end they did provide us with a discount, but still. I work in the industry and this is just not justifiable. Should’ve kept it the way it was !
I did order both the pasta bolognese and the pesto, but unfortunately, both dishes were overly salty, which masked the other flavors. The chicken breast added to each didn’t taste fresh. it seemed like it had been cooked ahead of time and reheated, lacking tenderness and depth.
