got the kathi roll and mango lassi.it was a delicious and a generous portion.wish the mango lassi was a little bit bigger.but overall a good experience.will try other stuff out.
The moon and life brought me to this place lol I was driving for over an hour and needed to use the restroom so I stopped here. As soon as I got out I saw the moon hovering right over this place so I went in to see if I can use the restroom . She could have told me no and I would have left but she was so kind and let me use the restroom. When I got out she didn’t even ask me to buy anything . But I did , I got a chicken tikka pizza and it was THE BEST THING IVE HAD . It was so good I can’t wait to drive back to try more stuff . Thank you again ! Definitely recommend this place , smells amazing
It’s long overdue for me to write a review of samosa bites. The first time I went there I went there was with my sister. She told me when I first moved in that this was her favorite place nearby our house. Now that I’ve been going there since I moved into my place in Astoria, this has been my comfort meal. I now share this meal with my new roommate and my best friend and the lady at the front desk always remembers our order and every time is like where have you guys been Typically, we order tiki masala and garlic naan sometimes what add in some Samosa or butter, chicken and the mango lassi. Everything’s so yummy and the people they are so nice amazing place.
Finally I've found it. 😃 Truly the best indian food In Astoria, Queens. This place got the best Indian food, 💯 Vibe.. I have been going here for last 3 months ..they are very good for dine in and take out.. it’s a very very popular spot so there is a wait time for sure but FOOD is awesome and worth the wait.. I love the samosa chat & chollay bhature. You can customize the spice level. The butter naan Melts in your mouth. Special thanks to Kumaran and awesome chef. 👏🏼
Samosa Bites is small, quaint, cozy and friendly. The person working was welcoming and helpful. The menu is substantial so I am grateful for the patience of the worker. I chose the eponymous samosa. It comes 4 per order. It came out hot and fresh and quite tasty! The two sauces were equally tantalizing. I enjoyed this experience and will return to try out the other items on the menu. What a cool little place to happen upon in the middle of the otherwise industrial part of Astoria. Wishing you well with lots of customers in the coming months 💜💜
Everything we ordered was amazing . From the papadam to the cheese naan. From the chicken saag to the curry chicken. They made everything perfectly as required in regard to spice level too. Service was kind and friendly. The guy remembered us from a previous visit which made I feel very welcomed. Only one thing to change would be - allow small portion of black daal since I love having it as a side and not main. Prices are very reasonable, especially for lunch. Highly recommend .
Katı roll is Mmmm good. A little wet n juciey. Baes choice to get the eggs. We got it mild. Not spicey hot at all. Came wrapped up nicely like a tight burrito. easy to share one just split one half each. Mango lassi is thick. We took it to go, though there were two couples sitting to eat. They made the most of the space.
The goat biriany is always delicious when I order it. The lamb can be hit or miss. Sometimes its a tad undercooked As an aside I don't like blackmailing businesses into agreeing with me. That said while the food here is good I hope they come to realize that the bike lane in front of their business is good for the community and ultimately what's good for their community is good for them. We're all in this together :)
Let's start with nice samosas (jumbo size - they have smaller size too). They are very crispy with a good flavor. Nice option for yourself or to share, well better don't share :). Then a Dosa (kind of Indian pancake or burrito) with chicken tásala (they ask you how spicy you want). The chicken has a good flavor, so it s a good option when you are boring to eat traditional fast food. The sauces are ok but the Tamarindo was the best with a sweet and a little spicy flavor. The place is pretty small, you order at the cashier, seat, eat and go. Jumbo Samosas, Dosa and Coke: 14$ is the hit to your wallet. मेरे दोस्त को शुभकामनाएँ 🇮🇳 Enjoy your food my friend 🇺🇸 More Food and Entertainment in NY with your new fiend.... @elmanudominguez (Instagram and YouTube videos)
The food was fine, nothing to write home about, but the ownership is actively investing in ensuring an unsafe community and unsafe roads in Astoria, so I have to dock it for that reason. I hope samosa bites realizes that a lot of us just want to walk there without getting run over by a speeding car.
Dishonest prices on some of their items. I saw that Gobi Manchurian was 8.99$ on their menu, but came home to find they had charged me 10.99$.
I can't believe I bought their Frozen Tawa Missy Roti package! Upon closer inspection, I discovered that the expiration label was covered with a new date label, and the Roti tasted awful. This is absolutely unacceptable, and I refuse to buy anything from their store or their packaged products ever again.
I ordered from them then watched their delivery driver deliver my order across the street. Got a text from their system saying "your order has been completed" and they attached a photo of the food they left sitting on a garbage can.... Don't know how to deliver to proper address, leave your food on actual garbage, refused to give a refund when I called.
