The cheeseburger here is by far the best I have had since i can remember & much better than in any other restaurants in Atlanta or Texarkana. Have a look... I had no idea it would be a big as it was (at least a half- pound). The fries were crispy & generously served. The best part, though, was that the beef was ground fresh for that burger. And, all orders are that way, because 3 people came in after me & ordered them & was told the same thing. "It will take 20-25 minutes for your burger because we grind the meat fresh." IT WAS WORTH THE WAIT. FYI, the restaurant is open 3 days/ week from 11-5 (Tues-Thurs). TBR is a family business (just one woman & her father) that recently reopened after COVID; they had been closed about 1yr. There are approx 12 tables in the restaurant, and there was a constant flow of customers. You order at the counter, and when your order is ready, it is called & you puck it up. If you're a burger fan, then don't miss this gem.

Fantastic place to stop and enjoy great BBQ. Loved the greens when he had them. Can’t wait to get down there again.

I have been going here since I was a little girl and it has always been great food and friendly service..I can't think of a time where I was unhappy here!
Great Bar-B-Q with outstanding potato salad in a rustic Texas-style building. Reasonably priced and friendly staff. Same owners for over 30 years.
Comfortable and friendly with a true local flavor that is more down-home than fancy. You'll hear yes, ma'am and no, ma'am, and howdy y'all along with the service. They offer beef, pork, and turkey alongside the BBQ; the spicy sauce means it. Toast is Texas-sized and buttery, done right on the skillit. It has a nice covered front porch with a pair of benches where I could rest with my dogs on a long trip. Neat bathroom, tasty bbq, and you can order some extra for the pups. This is not a large or commercial place, so service is not at the speed of McDonald's or similar, but it is good. There is a ramp to access the porch. Eat, rest your paws, enjoy the porch

Not very big inside but had good food, quick service, and good food with daily lunch specials. Outside looked kinda sketchy though.
Food was great only complaint i ask for sliced beef and got chopped instead the red link was delicious
Their brisket is a bit dry for my taste- But! It has good flavor, tge potatoe salad is soooo good- and the ribs naturally are to die for- forsure I recommend this place- you pull up in the parking lot- dial the phone # provided on the sign they take your order abd bring it out. Its dining in- outside!

Very bad experience for a BBQ, when I went there, they didn’t have the sides advertised on their menu, so I had to choose 2 other sides that I didn’t really want. I ordered the 1 meat plate with sliced brisket. The brisket was very dry and tasteless, and the BBQ sauce was bitter and unpleasant. I will not return to this place again.
"BBQ" if Yankees pretended to be Texan and cook "BBQ". This is one of those places where you realize that 70% of the people in this town don't know what good food made with love is, don't waste you money, time, breath. The most unfriendly, impersonal family who can't cook I've known for two and half decades. How did they even make it that long??? 🤣 This place seriously still open? It can't be.
The worst " BBQ " I have ever eaten! Potatoe salad was sour, baked beans were from a can ( not baked at all ) and Pittsburgh Hot Link tasted like they trucked it from Pittsburgh, on the dashboard! No BBQ whatsoever! Rip off! Won't EVER be back!!!
