Franklin Hall is one of my favorite places to visit. The food and drinks are good and reasonably priced. They also have specialty drinks every now and then which are fun to try. It’s a large area inside with plenty of sitting with games to entertain you. Just a great space for hanging with friends, or playing trivia.
Stopped by for take-out for the first time (normally have something delivered). I want to come back again with friends for one of their trivia nights or watch a game on the big screen.
Went here to watch the UGA football game (go dawgs!). It’s your typical beer hall. Bartenders were awesome and made it a good experience. The pretzel & the mozz sticks were probably our favorite things we ordered.
Newly opened. Instantly became one of my favorites in the city. Great for groups or to hang out with a friend or two. Good food, not too overpriced and nice beer selection. Table games are great
Love FH! Great place to hang and grab a beer/bite. Recently held an alumni event and they were very accommodating.
Took the office crew to Franklin and had an amazing time. The venue is clean and really large to accommodate lots of people. Thank you for great service and a wonderful venue
Franklin Hall has an amazing selection of beers. They've got a great happy hour, and worked with me when I had a big group there for a birthday party. Awesome staff, good food, great beers, high ceilings, games, what else is to like?
Great hall. Long bar with plenty of bartenders. There were a ton of people there on Friday night, but there's enough space that i didn't feel claustrophobic. If you wanted to see it less crowded, try to avoid Friday and Saturday nights. It's looked much calmer on weekday evenings.
I was there all day and Chris gave me unbelievable service. Above and beyond.
I cannot thank Franklin Hall ENOUGH for going above and beyond to reserve a generous space for our military high school reunion. The staff was extremely friendly, made amazing drinks, and just let us do our thing. The entire bar is stunning and spacious, PERFECT for large groups! We had a blast. Thank you for making our night comfortable and full of great memories. Please thank the staff that worked on July 20th!
Great day spot, particularly for college football and can’t be beat for March madness with something like 15 TVs inside on the walls. The place fills up with a pretty hip and young crowd. If you come in the later afternoon you may not get in since it gets that full on Saturdays. Beer selection is pretty good and prices are actually not bad for a Biergarten. Grub is just about okay too, especially after a couple steins. Lots of games on the tables too. Make sure to close out your tab if you don't want the bartender to automatically choose a tip percentage (18-20% if you don't close it out).
Fab selection of familiar and new /exciting to try brews! Bartenders are fun, knowledgeable and talented. Michael has amazing energy and can help you choose the perfect brew or cocktail to suit your mood. Highly recommend!!
Great comfortable atmosphere to grab a drink and food with some friends. They have lots of space/tables,TVs on the wall showing sports games, and large bar style connect four at each table in the main bar area. A fun relaxed place to come drink and hangout
I worked with Franklin Hall to host a work happy hour event and they were great! Working with them to plan and coordinate the event was a breeze and they were more than accommodating. The space itself is awesome. There was plenty of room for our larger group and we had a ton of fun with the different games provided.
Great spot to watch a game. Huge beer hall with a lot of tables, bar seating, and TVs. Respectable bar food and draft beer options. They will open early on Sundays for international football matches.
My organization of around 300 folks has held two pretty good sized events here and across the board there are only ringing endorsements from everyone who attended. From the planning phase (which Nate and the team there made so simple and stress free), to set up, and execution, everything was perfect at both events. The first event the org provided the food and Franklin Hall did not disappoint. The crowd cauliflower is next level, y’all, it every thing was excellent. Now at most of our events, there is like 100-150 people that defend in the bar all at once, and usually, the bar (at other venues) has been understaffed and quickly became (and stayed) overwhelmed. Not here! The team was friendly and efficient and all around awesome! They brought in backup when necessary and I NEVER had to wait more than 2-3 to order and receive my drink. That is with over 200 people there. Nate and his team here truly go above and beyond to make the events special! Go see them for a great space and a great time!
Great spot to have a few drinks and enjoy a game. I went here during the Olympics and they were playing several of the events. The bartenders were friendly and helpful too! They had a great selection and some fantastic deals on feature brews. Food was pretty good too. Spacious interior with a lot of floor space. Overall, great place. Looking forward to going back
We absolutely love Franklin Hall! They have plenty of room to socially distance and have put in lots of hard work to ensure a safe visit (paper menus, plexiglass separating tables, plenty of hand sanitizer, table service, etc.). The staff is phenomenal. The food rocks, especially the giant pretzel. Go visit or order takeout soon to show our support during covid!
Franklin Hall is the perfect place to host a large event in DC! We had such a hard time finding a private place for a big group on a Friday night and are so grateful to have found Franklin Hall. We hosted about 150 guests for welcome drinks for our wedding weekend and it was perfect. Nate helped us figure out the best options for our party and all the staff were lovely and accommodating during the entire event. All our guests were raving about the event all weekend.
Franklin Hall is the absolute best! The manager Nate and team were so helpful and kind with helping me throw a 60+ person surprise party that was really important to me. We love the atmosphere, staff, food and drinks and location a ton. Huge fans of FH and will be back many many times!
This is the Arsenal bar. Easy to order food and drinks even though it's packed
I come to DC frequently, and this place is a MUST! The food and vibe are ok. What keeps me coming back is the bartender, Ben. You'll immediately recognize him. He's the one with long hair, Auburn hat (his only downfall...Roll Tide), and the absolute best southern accent in DC. His conversations, attention to detail, knowing what I want and getting me to try new things that I find I love, and overall down to earth/welcoming persona is what keeps me coming back. It's a pleasant surprise to find courteous staff in DC. Thanks, Ben! See ya again in January!
Perfect place to host a large party/reception!! We had a group of ~300 and the venue was perfect for a large scale casual event. Ryan and Nate were FABULOUS to work with and made the process easy from start to finish. Excellent service, food, drinks and vibes. Cannot recommend them enough!!
Very fun, good to bring a group, tons of seating and games on the tables. Can definitely get pretty busy some nights especially during big NFL or NBA games. Liters of beer are good value and theres plenty of food options however I haven’t eaten anything that great from here yet.
This place rocks! Cris is the best bartender around! I love playing pool here too!
Amazing place to watch sports and get a great brew or mixed drink. All the bartenders are great, but Michael is superb!
Great, great, great (I can’t say great enough) spot to catch an Arsenal game (or other sports as well). If you’re a DC-based Arsenal fan and you’re looking for the local supporters group, you’ve found your utopia. They even open early for the 7:30 AM kickoff if you fancy getting up that early for a pint and a game. Guinness on tap is a huge plus. My new favorite spot!
I’ve been going to Franklin hall for years and always have a great time. Plenty of seating and tv screens. They have long tables for big groups and smaller high tops for smaller groups. Depending on the day, pretty easy to get a drink at the bar with a lot of staff ready to help serve. I love their Christmas decorations they have up this year! It was fun watching a commanders vs eagles game, a lot of good mixing of fans without hostility. They also have great food, some really delicious chicken tenders - more flavor than most bars I’ve gotten tendies from. Recommend for a sports day or a night out!
This place is huge. I’ve been here many times for large group gatherings and birthday parties because the seating is all bench based and very easy for a big group of friends to come. Games, light food and loads of beer! Highly recommend!
I recently hosted my 30th birthday party here and I am so happy I decided to host at Franklin Hall. Everything was already set up (food, etc.) when I arrived a little early, and the restaurant/bar staff were great and made sure we had everything we needed. The food/drinks/Franklin Hall energy was so fun, that some of my friends commented that they are thinking of hosting events there in the future. I highly recommend renting out the space for events here!

Best bar if you’re new to dc and want to play pool! Free pool on Thursdays is great. Good food good beer and good service. Shouts to Chris made me feel right at home. New regular spot
Franklin Hall is one of DCs best sports bars. The staff are wonderful, they have great pub food, a deep beer selection, plenty of TVs, and fun events. I would highly recommend stopping by to watch a game or attend one of their trivia nights. They also have pool tables!
The best sports bar in DC. They have great events going every night and the staff from the doormen (Jabbar and Roscoe, the most welcoming front staff I’ve found) to the bar personnel are very personable and make you feel included. Highly recommend coming here for a neighborhood hang out or any sporting event
Was in town for a scientist convention for some nerd shit. Stumbled across this place. Really enjoyed bartender with curly hair and big smile. She gave good recommendations for nerd shit, even if she pretended not to like nerd shit
My favorite and best ever bartender Kris !!!! Go see her and will never regret !! Also food is so delicious and adore to play pool over there , on Thursdays they have free pool night ! The place is so spacious and lots of bathrooms ! ❤️❤️💫
Jabbar does a great job. Roscoe is my guy. I love this bar. One of the best bars in the area and the people are the best

We had a server named Jerry I believe and he suggested the wings and we mixed the flavors (buffalo and sriracha) they were amazing!! He was really nice and helpful even tho he was busy. Nice spot to try out and play games while enjoying some food and drinks
Great spot for a game. I dont give it 5 stars bc the food is terrible. Ive had it twice and the servings sizes are embarrassing
Nice vibe and environment inside. It was hard to determine which beers were on happy hour - make sure you ask what the main drafts are before ordering. Food looked like typical bar food. Would come here again for the nice atmosphere!
Very spacious long bar with plenty of seating and benches. Good food menu with great prices for a quick american style bar. I know they have game night here as well check it out
Stopped in for a bite to eat and a cold beer. The place is fairly large, decked with several high tops and long tables for multiple friends or couples. Décor is sleek, does have a pool hall-ish modern feel with large TV's and ample bar space. You'll definitely have to get the attention of the bartenders because they can get swamped, but they are helpful and courteous. Don't expect a fine dining menu, if you're looking for quick food items this is great. We ended up ordering pork tacos which tasted unseasoned lacking in flavor, loaded fries OMG very good, chicken tenders which were tasty, hot and crispy, and a sausage which was excellent. Several types of beers including local, no complaints here it quenched my thirst on this hot day. I would certainly go back, it's a cool hip after work meet-up with coworkers/friends. Overall very clean and maneuverable place, can become loud, but there's extra seating away from the crowd towards the back which I liked. Excellent neighborhood addition definitely try it out.
Nice beer hall with a great selection of fixed and rotating draughts, although they are expensive. Food is good too (you can’t beat the $3 breakfast tacos in the afternoon on weekends). The crowd varies - sometimes it’s PACKED and sometimes it’s not. Great place to watch a game. Edit: They could use some better music. I’ve heard Weird Al and Scotty Doesn’t Know on a Sunday afternoon. Just not the vibe.
Hulking event space that's great for large groups. Visited with some local run clubs and felt right at home with a sizable party. Food service sometimes slow for pub food but generally reliable. Always a good time.
Concrete floors and hard-surface walls/ceilings made this place LOUD. Great prices and service, college age crowd tryna get busy. Zero parking so take metro/cab. Just be aware is all.
Big space with tables for large parties, but could also double as communal seating. Order window for easy food ordering and a paging system for pick-up. Food was tasty. Vegetarian options. The veggie burger was tasty!
I wanted to find a spacious place I would have no problem getting into on the nicest day we will have in Winter during an important string of NFL games, and Franklin Hall delivered. Big, spacious, we had no problem getting a couch in front of a nice TV. We didn't have food and my thought is this is not a food place. And there is music so you can't actually hear the games. But a great clutch place if you want to get in and get a good spot at the last minute.
Went on a Saturday for college football and it was absolutely packed. Good deal on beers, food wasn't bad. The crowd is mostly college age to early 30's.
Nice beer hall, definitely huge and a bit tough to navigate when it's busy, but still a fun place to hang out with friends. The food options here are delicious and surprisingly affordable, and really stand out as one of the brightest spots here. The bar can be a bit of a madhouse to try and get attention at, so hopefully they can address that in time.
Fun environment and the concept is pretty cool. The kitchen is not intrusive to the bar area but is still very visible and convenient. The beer selection was good as I was here for an event put on with The Bruery. The atmosphere is somewhat large chaotic and loud but still comfortable.
Great spot for groups! Great prices / beer selection. Takes reservations also for larger groups. The burger and veggie burger were delicious. I didn’t personally care for the pretzel and pub cheese (No spicy brown mustard!?) or mac & cheese bites
I really like the roominess and setup. Laid-back atmosphere. Only downside was the bartender. He was friendly to me and my friend, however, he openly criticized other customers who approached the bar concerning some discount protocol. In my opinion, if you want a tip, deal with the uninformed customers as you would with the informed ones.
This is a great bar to have in the neighborhood! It's a true beer hall which means fully self serviced. There's a modest kitchen with decent food that does the trick for this like of spot. The beer selection is pretty wide and isn't strictly German the way you might think. The service is hit or miss but if you're looking for no frills then this is a good option.
I enjoyed much about this place..the tater tots were amazing. Highly recommend. I was disappointed with the lack of soap in the toilet rooms, as well as 4 of the 5 pool sticks having no tip on them. I did enjoy having access to free pool, and there was a nice variety to their beer selection. If you are in the area, you should stop in.
We only drank so I can't say anything about the food. Nice atmosphere with a few outdoor tables but large interior. Good lineup of beers. Lots of taps and a good number of regional beers in the list. Mike was a fun bartender. I'd definitely go back!
Live dancing doodles hosted here ever other Sunday night! However, THEY NEED TO SERVE WATER!!!! They make you buy bottled water… really annoying. But, they do let you bring in your own water bottle and the caliber of dancing here is top tier! Such a fun place for salsa and bachata!
I went to the salsa bachata social, and it was great! It was a bit warm, so I grabbed a water (way overpriced, though!), but other than that, I'd totally recommend it and go back if I could.
This was the starting location of the Pacer's Black History Month Run/Walk. Apparently they did some special things to serve us so don't know how the next person's experience will be. The things include these pancakes and mimosas where they are traditionally a bar and don't have brunch options normally. A participant ordered the old bay wings and raved about them. Since it was a meeting place, didn't get to experience fully. Did see they have pool tables, connect four and other table games.
Franklin hall has quite an ambiance that is both inviting and captivating. The libations are of superb quality, making it a top destination for those who appreciate a well-crafted drink. However, what sets this place apart are the complimentary pool tables that add an extra element of entertainment to the overall experience. It is a must-visit destination for those seeking a lively atmosphere and an enjoyable evening out.

place is huge! love the atmosphere when watching arsenal with dcarmoury. food and drinks are good!
We live within a few hundred feet of this place. We barely ever go because a) it’s a particularly young crowd, and b) it’s packed and noisy on weekend evenings. For those reasons, we’ve gone either on weekday nights or weekend days, and it’s perfectly fine then. Large space, some cool couches, and big games to play. There’s a decent selection of beer and the food is decent, if not a bit pricy for what you get. In your early 20’s? Go. Older? Maybe not on Fri or Sat night. Also, don’t plan to park in the neighborhood as it’s scarce! Please metro or Uber, etc.
This is a true beer hall. You order from one of two lines and then have to find seating. It is big but fills up fast. When you order food they give you a pager and it alerts you when ready for pick up. Beware, when you pay with a card, the bartender will pre-select 20% for the tip. It is unclear how you can change this. To me this is a rude and presumptuous practice. I have a brain and can decide how good or bad the service was. Management should forbid this practice.
Atmosphere and venue was great 👍 Service was moderate. Food was not too good. My pretzel was great, but my Brussels sprouts were completely burnt and oily.
This is exactly the bar DC needs- spacious with cheap beers, ample socializing room, good food, picnic benches, big TVs for sports, etc. But... on Saturday they are playing loud music that got progressively louder and louder in the evening to the point where we were screaming at the person across the table from us and we ended up having to leave because it was impossible to hold a conversation. This isn't a club; it's like a beer hall social spot, so I don't understand why they choose to do this. There are 2 main halls and the 2nd one had lights off and a more clubby vibe which was fine, but the main hall should be a social spot. Music is fine, but why kill the best thing you have going for you with it? Also, there are a lot of people drinking large volumes of cheap beer here, but there are limited individual bathroom stalls. It would be so much more efficient (and profitable for the business) if at least there was a mens room with a trough or wall of urinals so you could get in and out. I would've drank more if going to the bathroom wasn't a 10 minute event. Such an easy place to make perfect, so hopefully this will be a 5-star review in the future because I really want to see this place succeed. NW DC needs this place!
Interesting concept they probably works well when teaming with people on a Friday or Saturday night. Billed as a “great place to catch a game,” we went on a Saturday morning and the place was dead. Despite having more servers and bartenders than people, ordering was still a chore. One window for food orders on a pay per basis, and at the other end of the place, a bar with no table service. Hopefully, this place will work out the kinks as it finds itself, as it’s a very cool space in an up-and-coming neighborhood.
I go here weekly but had a bad experience during my latest visit. Your menu CLEARLY shows the Wings cost $11, yet they charge you $14 instead. The food here is fantastic, especially for bar food, but I was not too pleased to see a totally different price on my bill than on the menu. I only noticed because I peered over the screen when they took my order and saw a $14 charge. This deception seems pretty intentional, because when you go to pay your tab, you just see the final total. If you have two beers and some wings, you probably won’t notice the additional $3. When I asked the bartender why I was charged $14, he explained that boneless wings are $11 and bone-in are $14. Thankfully, he took $3 off my tab because literally nowhere on the menu does it distinguish between the two, but I did have to protest it for him to change it. He claimed they’ve been meaning to change the menu. But I guess for now, they’ll keep ripping people off because the only way to see your complete tab is to pay, then get your receipt, then decide if it’s really worth haggling over $3. I suspect most customers wouldn’t notice or wouldn’t bother. Nevertheless it’s dishonest and disappointing. It’s not about the $3, it’s about the principle. Charge people the price displayed on your menu. Rant over; I’ll be back next week anyways…
I have been going to the bar to meet up with friends for years and I will say Mark is a great bartender. I was there recently and went up to an open section of the bar to grab a drink and the bartender after I said “hi”, the bartender said “yea” staring down at the payment system. I then asked him to close out my tab after ordering a drink and he simply walked away. I said “sir” and did not care to engage. I had to have a female bartender assist me. To be clear, this was not Mark and he must be somewhat new in the last year or so (African American male shorter than Mark). I then was bumped by a patron by the seat I was hovering over who sat down and got in my face and said, “you bumped into me as you were walking by and this is my seat” when I was simply hovering over to grab a light beer. He then proceeded to mock me by name and I felt the need to take the high road. What happened to the chill vibe and welcoming service of this place? How hard is it to train your employees to say hi? My friends were at Ivy and Coney before and had much better service and atmosphere - and I felt safe. I will reconsider if I go back there again.
Not a bad beer selection. Food ok but not great. Was there for a trivia tournament and my group and I were made to go through very crowded room before being able to sit in tournament area. Also, I think I was overcharged and am looking into it.
First time going here for my friends birthday party and it was decent. You need to have a either a negative Covid-19 test within the past 72 hours or been vaccinated to enter. It’s a huge hall / sports bar from my perspective. I think my friends enjoyed their drinks more than the food. They said the nachos were cold, chicken sausage was dry and the burger was basic. Basically they said don’t come here to eat a good meal. It’s a place you mainly drink. You have been warned. They do have water available for no drinking folks like myself as well. I liked the bar decor personally because it was Christmas festive and tasteful. Overall, it’s an okay spot to hangout with friends.

I was prepared for loudness based on other reviews, but the noise level was deafening in the middle of the afternoon even while the bar was maybe 2/3rds full. Once it did full up in the early evening it became really hard to order drinks with everyone in the whole place pressing up against the one bar on the side, even though the bartenders did their best. The beer list was also ok but not what I expected from a beer hall.
Nope nope nope. They were out of all the good beers. The only remaining beers were awful. Also there was one cocktail on the menu and it was diabetes sweet. The food came fairly quick and was pretty good. Place was very loud and big but no seats available. Need more seating and something done about the acoustics. It wasn't even that full but we had to yell to hear each other. We left as soon as we finished our drinks and food. Not fun. Sorry!
Really loved this place, been here so many times… came to watch Commanders game in DC. They refuse to play any NFL game sound on a Sunday. Not just commanders… no sound at all! What kind of sports bar is that? Will not be coming back for Football.
Super crowded. Too many sweaty people. Tots were great.
The service and drinks were good but the weird app I downloaded—Vemospay—to pay my tab charged me 25$ plus my actual tab. Super sketchy!!! I understand you can pay at the bar but I’m disappointed an establishment is recommending this app to people to begin with.

Two bartenders on during a Monday evening and the older man never even acknowledged us sitting at the bar. Just kept passing by. Horrible service and staff. But, what do you expect from a restaurant group. There are too many good places on 14th st where you can get world class care. No wonder this place was empty.
A thin veneer of cool, but mostly just a tank designed to extract as much beer money as possible out of groups of drunk bros. Can't describe how underwhelming the food was here -- it's really not hard or expensive to make a decent, crispy chicken wing or juicy burger. Big beer list, but most of it was out of stock (although I'm sure this will get fixed). So many better places to eat and drink in this neighborhood.
the absolute WORST & most UNPROFESSIONAL customer service I’ve ever experienced. Came here for the Super Bowl and I politely asked the manager if my group could sit at an empty half of a table that said “reservation 5:30pm”- when I asked it was 6pm. The manager (a male) said “give it 15 more minutes because we have a 45min grace period and come back and see me”. I waited and came back to the bar to speak to them again since no one had showed and was approached by a tall woman with curly hair up in a bun. She proceeded to assault me by profusely tapping my knees(which I had surgery on less than 6 weeks ago) because I was blocking her from crawling under the bar counter to exit the bar instead of using her words and saying excuse me. Then she told me to wait there while she figured it out. I waited and did not see her until about 30minutes later when I had to approach her again to ask about the same table. Instead of getting me an answer she then runs off again and when I asked if we could sit at the table since it was empty and the game was starting she threatens to kick us out. Instead of coming right out and saying the people already sitting on one half of the table reserved the ENTIRE table, she was rude, unprofessional, assaulted me, and threatened to kick us out. This was our first time visiting and it’s sad that we had such a terrible experience. Will not be coming again.
Been enjoying coming to Franklin Hall for a while but last night checked my bill after playing pool and found a $25 charge for "pool reservation." I thought it must be a mistake and went back today and was told they charge $18 for the first hour on the table and then by the minute after that. Thats an absurd price (that they don't advertise) for a service that I thought was complimentary. Most expensive pool table in America! Never coming back to Franklin, even if they do have good beer.
Went there to watch football with friends. One of our friends has significant food allergies and after clarifying with the food staff 3 times she ordered food. She was reassured that there would be no issues but that was not true once she started eating. She ended up finishing the night using an EpiPen and going to the hospital. Wildly unprofessional food staff and just an unacceptable sequence of events. Staff members should know simple items like this that put people at risk.
Called to make a reservation for my husband's birthday. The person told me it wouldn't be a problem and to message them. I messaged them and got a really creepy response. The guy literally defended calling me "mama". So weird. We will be celebrating elsewhere
Bartenders are slow, inattentive, and disorganized. Much better options in the D.C. area. Edit: Since customer support is laboring under the delusion that this review was solely penned in response to the SEC Championship fiasco, I feel compelled to elaborate that bartenders at Franklin Hall are slow, inattentive, and disorganized REGARDLESS of the event / game / season. Even if it’s only mildly busy, expect to wait anywhere from 10 - 20 minutes to get a bartender’s attention. This has been the case for 3 years running, and I don’t foresee management changing that anytime soon, based on their responses toward negative reviews. Look elsewhere to enjoy game day.
I don’t write reviews, but what happened today was disgusting. I’ve made a voice call to this place to confirm that my favourite football club match is on so I can watch it and they confirmed that 👍🏻 so I went there but they apologised to do so, because some customers are watching other live matches and they will be mad if they switched the match channel 🙂. Dishonesty from staff made me decide not to come to this place again, I mean, I even asked the customers if it’s okay to switch the match and they said yes they are not interested in the matches at all actually 🤣 Today I’ve spent my money and my time to reach out to this place but they didn’t provide anything of what they said 🤷🏻♂️
This has to be the worst interaction I’ve ever had with a bartender. The lady’s name was “Christin B.” She had an attitude with us the whole time. We tipped her 15% and when we asked for a printed receipt, and she rolled her eyes and said “wow that’s shitty” - we ordered a pitcher and 2 beers. She shouldn’t be working here.
I’ve never felt the need to write a bad review until now. This is my first Google review. It was my Birthday and the bartender lady was extremely rude and aggressive and was clearly also under the influence. Over charged me for my order and forced me to tip by literally taking my credit card even though she cussed at me and said terrible things . Worst interaction with a bartender ever! Do not go here or at least do not order from her!! They’ll probably reply to this post by saying they take customer feedback seriously. But I’ve seen other customers complain about the same thing on Google reviews in the past. This has been a consistent problem with their service for a while clearly. So they won’t take this feedback seriously!! Don’t go here!!
I’ve never experienced such poor customer service at a bar. One of the managers, Chris, was incredibly rude — she wouldn’t make eye contact, ignored me completely, and forced me to communicate through the bartender even though she was standing just a few feet away. We politely asked to have one TV switched to a different game. The bar was nearly empty and most screens were showing the same uninteresting match. Despite how simple the request was, Chris refused to help or even acknowledge it. Her attitude was dismissive and completely unprofessional. My group of four was ready to spend money and hang out, but we ended up leaving because of how disrespectful Chris was. Terrible customer service — won’t be coming back. It’s not hard to be nice.
Why call yourself a sports bar if you won’t play the volume of a sport game? For reference, the UNC - Duke game (the biggest rivalry in college basketball) was playing at 6:30 pm on tonight (Saturday). We were told “not to be cheeky but, its a Saturday night” in response to asking to turn on the game volume. Everyone in this SPORTS BAR is here to watch the game - that doesnt make sense. Bad business practice if you ask me. Dont come here if you want to actually watch a game!
Come to Franklin Hall if you want to be cussed out by drunk bartenders. We will not be back as long as Chris is employed at this place. Her behavior is astonishing and unacceptable.
