These are the BEST my son and I ever had! I normally can't eat all my food. Although this burrito was so big! I ate ALL of it because it was that good. Cabo Bobs certainly gives Chipotle a run for their money. I wish they where in Phoenix, AZ. The facility is clean, staff are very engaging, everything is made fresh while you wait along with the tortillas, and such fun seeing a tiny piece of dough turn into small or huge tortilla, plus they offer fresh fish, and a variety of different kinds of tortillas. Best Buck for your money. Give it a try, you will not be disappointed. 10 ⭐️

I got the deluxe fish tacos and they were delicious and totally hit the spot on a hot summer day. The fish was cooked well, they had a great selection of ingredients which tasted fresh, all together to combine for some great tacos. My only gripe is the guacamole portion felt tiny in comparison. It would have been a generous portion if I wanted to add guac to my taco, but felt lacking for an order of chips and guac. Overall still had a pretty great lunch and I want to come back to have more fish tacos and to try other offerings on the menu that smelled pretty enticing.

Chipotle's better looking sister. The best burritos in the business. The size of your forearm. So good! Four tortillas to choose from: buttermilk, smokey cheddar, ancho chili and tomatillo. Quality ingredients: pork, brisket, chicken, steak, crispy fish. Plenty of other toppings and sauces, too. Long lines, but they move quickly. Be sure to get a punch card, your seventh burrito is free!

This place is solid. I await the day they expand to Houston. Guaranteed stop while we are in Austin. Tough choice between a beef fajita burrito and fish tacos. The beef is cooked in a green egg smoker, the flavor and tenderness is that much better. The fish tacos are these little crispy fish stick like things. The crunch of the exterior batter though on the fish is what makes it. If you are on 71 close to South Congress stop in. They have really sweet to go cups. We are about 10 deep on those.

The most amazing restaurant ever!!! My friend and I stopped here on our way back home and it was sooo good! I paid about $12 for 3 fish tacos (generous portions) and chips and salsa! She had the grilled chicken tacos. I wish they had one of these in our hometown. We will be back!

So. We LOOOVOEE Cabo Bobs. So much that we made a trip into Austin for furniture and made sure we arranged to get our Fish Tacos fix. Had to eat them before the drive home and do not regret it at all! I tried the beef burrito with "sauteed onions" I am not a crunch onion fan, so I'll be sure to skip those next time. 🤢 but the beef was divine. I usually always get the fish tacos. But now I've convinced the hubs to get the tacos as a shared appetizer and then split a burrito. Then we have the best of both worlds. Dont forget the queso. And mango pico. Oh. My. I have missed this place. Online ordering is super easy and it was ready on time and hot! Thanks a bunch! We still wish we had catered our wedding with y'all. #bestfishtacosever

Tasty fresh tortillas and toppings lend a creative approach to crafting deliciousness. The long line was worth the wait. Fill a bowl or a trio taco feast! I recommend the cheddar tortillas.

Burritos are massive and delicious. Cabo Bob’s is way better than Chipotle, even in the glory days. Go earlier than 5pm if you wanna avoid the line.

Normally this location is impossible to go to because traffic is so unbelievably bad. As in leaving can take over 20 minutes just to get from the parking onto the highway that is literally 50 feet from the store. But if you come at 10:30-11am, it's doable without much traffic. The food is always fantastic, like the other locations. Best breaded fish tacos and juiciest brisket tacos in Austin, even though it's a chain.

Cabo Bobs is bar none the best restaurant in all of Austin. The ingredients are fresh, the people are nice, and the food is excellent every single time. I have a complaint in with Michelin that Cabo Bobs has not received a star yet, clearly an egregious oversight. For real. Best bang for your buck in town. I'd pay 2x the price with a smile. Do yourself a favor. Stop by Cabo Bobs, have a burrito, leave happy. 100% of the time.

One of the best values in Austin. If you've never been, it's essentially just Chipotle but done way better. I'm a big eater, and I get pretty full from their $8 pork burrito. Not many places can fill me up for that much money. Pressing and cooking the tortillas right in front of you is a baller move. Their queso/salsa/guac is good but nothing crazy. Where they get you is the $1 bag of tortilla chips that are about as good as you can possibly get from any fast-casual place. Cabo Bob's is a weekly visit for us, and probably will be for a long time.

The long lines at noon are a testament to the high value, delicious flavors, and friendly service I have consistently experienced at Cabo Bob's. My only wish is that it wasn't so popular (or that people didn't order for themselves and their 3 co-workers back at the office). If you go before or after the lunch rush, you won't have to wait as long for the great grub at this place!

I had a bad experience once, but they made it right the second time, and it was amazing. I definitely will be back. They have awesome prices for the food you order. So tasty. I can't wait to go back. There are a lot of choices which I like. A very friendly staff.

Simply phenomenal value. Lines are frequently out the door. Filling burritos or tacos with fresh-pressed tortillas are already as cheap as $8, then add in their punch cards (1 out of every 7 entrees is free) and reusable cups ($1 refills) and I just can't ever convince myself to go elsewhere for this kind of food. Always plenty of employees and they're always relatively cheerful. Just a win-win coming here. Keep doing what you're doing!

Amazing option for fast and delicious food. Their burritos are so good, especially the grilled steak one; also, their chips and queso are to die for. We really enjoy going there since it doesn't matter how crowded it is, they have a really fast service system. We also have had them for take out and since their burritos are well packed, they always make it hot and in one piece.

This was the first time I’ve ever tried this place based on our friends recommendation and honestly it’s the better version of chipotle at this point. Personally, I would highly recommend the burrito as it is literally huge like even bigger than the chipotle burritos and they really fill it up too with toppings. The sauces are also way better than chipotle as well so overall, I would say come to here versus chipotle unless you’re getting a bowl. The bowl at chipotle is still larger but the burrito is hundred percent the move at Cabo Bob.

Always love this place, consistently good and consistently busy. Flavorful, meats are good quality, queso is the right level of thickness and not super runny, I don't love the actual chips but it's fine. They give ample food so if you want less be sure to say so ..like I tend to want minimal rice and when I saw so they actually follow my request. Not a lot of seating in the 290 near I35 so be mindful of that, but still worth going to.

Always love their food. I highly recommend the fish tacos. They were incredibly busy even way after lunch hour and that causes quite a wait. Atmosphere is rated low because the music is too loud in the dining room.

Yum what a great burrito! Super affordable even on Grubhub. I ordered the fish burrito and chips and queso. It’s housed in a giant ancho chili tortilla with black beans, white rice, and mango pico. All these flavors pop beautifully, nice kick from the tortilla. The regular chips and queso is a good size, chips seem to be homemade. Delicious and filling and affordable, definitely order again.

The nearest Cabo Bob’s is about 30 mins away for me. That is 30 minutes that I’d be willing to go out of my way, once in a while, because that burrito was just so good! So good that I have to break my Google Maps review rule by giving this place 5⭐️s without knocking any stars down despite the utter lack of any veg/vegan protein options (Cabo Bob’s - please add something to the menu for those of us that don’t eat meat; like Tofu, Seitan or Tempeh!). What makes the burrito so good? The tortilla, the pico, and the sauces+salsas. There are also other fillings to choose from, of course, like beans, rice, veggies, meats etc. The soft, warm tortilla is made fresh in front of you, and you can pick one/a combination of 4 options: Buttermilk Flour (White), Cilantro Tomatillo (Green), Ancho Chili (RED), and Smoky Cheddar (Orange). I got the cilantro tomatillo + smokey cheddar, and it was probably the best tortilla I’ve ever had. Per their website, the tortilla dough is made from unbleached, untreated wheat flour and Rice Bran oil, which is much better than all purpose flour. The mango pico was fresh, tangy and delicious. The red salsa, chipotle crema and 66 red sauce were a super tasty combo. Given they have zero veg protein options, I picked the gilled veggies (zucchini/squash), which were ok. The size of the burrito is large enough to make two meals out of it, or just one big meal for the day. They have stations where you can grab napkins, extra sauce, dispose of your trash, return the food baskets, and they also have convenient to go boxes with lids to pack over extras. Seating: indoor booth/table & chair seating and high top tables, outdoor seating has covered picnic benches. Ambience: simple, casual/beach-y?, good energy, constant flux of people ordering/picking up food/eating. Overall, very impressed with the tortilla, definitely recommend, and will be back in a few months (sooner if they add veg protein to the menu).

I want to try this place again. It all looked sooooo good. Against my better judgment, I ordered the fish tacos. They are made with tilapia. A fish I can not stand, but I took a chance. I will not judge this place by these tacos alone. The burritos looked absolutely amazing. And this place was packed with a line out the door. They have to be doing something right.

When I first heard of this place, I thought, this restaurant was just another version of chipotle. Boy, was I wrong. Its much better than Chipotle's food. They have a good variety of tropical foods that can't compete. I really like the atmosphere of Cabo Bob's, too. It reminds me of somewhere foreign, which is a good thing because it makes me feel like I'm eating something foreign and exciting. I was very pleased with the customer service and how incredibly fast the employees were. As a first time customer, I think ordering My food was super easy. Lastly, my chicken tacos were fantastic!

This place is a great alternative to freebirds. You pretty much get the same options but everything seems to be a little fresher and hotter. They have one size burrito (aside from kids) and with all the fillings I put in tends to be HUGE. Biggest drawback is that they are real stickers on their military discount. The managers give you a hard time if you're not in uniform and it only applies to the one meal. But... It is 50% so that's good.

It's just a good burrito. Period. The line was almost to the door when we arrived so we ordered through the app (highly recommend you do this) and our order was ready in 10 minutes. The tortillas looked like they were soaked in grease but they were surprisingly lightly flavored and chewy delicious. My vegetarian burrito was so good and so flavorful while my partner's brisket burrito was super meaty. The fish tacos were so good I would have loved to have them as a fish and chips special by the beach and not just as tacos.

Summary: Great food, terrible parking especially on the weekday lunch hours ( Chic-Fil-As fault), very friendly staff. The Details: Delicious Tex Mex. I call it Chipotle on steroids because the business model seems to be similar but the cuisine is much tastier and higher quality. This isn't your boiler plate burrito shop, it offer many more choices and uses the Big Green Egg for some of their meat choices. This place can get very crowded but even a line out the door rarely means a wait of longer than 10 minutes to place your order. Seating is plentiful if you count the outdoor seating which can get loud because of the traffic in the parking lot but is otherwise fine. Minus 1 star for the lost communication on behalf of the service team. I had to repeat my order 3 times and they had to remake one of their standard burritos all because the assembly line folks were not communicating with each other. The problem was remedied quickly and life goes on. Overall very nice folks that work there.

I absolutely loved the burritos, they were incredibly flavorful and what I appreciated the most was the vast range of options available to customize your burrito. You can choose among so many options of tortillas and proteins to add to your burrito, which was fantastic. The decor of the restaurant was also quite striking, and the place was bustling with people, which always is a very good sign. However, the downside was that the noise level was quite high, making it somewhat uncomfortable to stay there. There were also signs indicating that you can simply point to what you want when placing your order instead of shouting, which suggest that it's typically very loud. Overall, I would highly recommend the restaurant for the food, but I suggest getting it to go and enjoy it in a quieter place.

I love the food and ingredients here but these folks don't know how to wrap a burrito. I've only been 3 times and every time I get it the burrito falls apart in 3 bites. Do yourself a favor and only get a bowl, which is what the burrito turns into 3 bites later, or nachos.

The reason that I'm giving two stars is because although everything else is pretty great I'm not a big fan that they went to avocado oil because now I can't enjoy their chips as a whole and I have to be careful with their tortillas, because I'm allergic to avocados. But the main reason that they're getting two stars is because they're Lids on their bowls to go absolutely atrocious. They always come off I always have food in the bag that's not in the container I really wish you would get a better bowl with a better to go lid

Did not include the sauces, had toppings I didn't order and were missing others. Cabos used to be my favorite but over the last year every location I visit is just unorganized and messes up my simple order. Will strongly consider before coming again. Very disappointing.

Disgusted and will never go back. I bit into TWO BONES in my chicken and almost broke a tooth. I have never had this happen ANYWHERE I’ve eaten before. I was too scared to even finish the rest of my meal because of this.

Usually my experience here is good. The food taste great however the service is going downhill. I placed an order online so that I could pick up and take home since I was working late. I ordered a pork quesadilla with all my toppings on the side (I don't think anyone likes a soggy quesadilla) when I got home I was disappointed to see that the the order I'd placed was not correct. They gave me just a regular quesadilla but charged me for a pork quesadilla! I called the place to inform them of the mistake, and as soon as the women on the phone answered right away she had a condescending attitude "well you asked for items on the side" regardless if I did or not, I was still missing the meat, and it wasn't even put on the side either. All I got were the veggies but no pork. Why would I pay for a pork quesadilla and not want the pork.... her attitude was gross and the way she talked to me was not professional.

Quality control at this location with online ordering has been consistently bad over the course of several years. Tonight it has peaked in its poor quality with the team, including its team member who is solely in charge of online ordering, failing to remember queso. I have ordered food from Cabo bobs usually at peak times and somehow I never have sauce for my food included on the food or on the side and the quality of the ingredients is reliant on the sauce in order to taste good. I have written reviews directly to the business via their review systems and they have failed to address the issue or reach out to me as a customer. Cabo bobs is great if you go in person and I would eat in person but I would never recommend ordering online if you want the correct order because you will not get it. I want to say I won’t come back because I do hold out hope they’ll get it right next time, but there are plenty of better options in Austin. Also this parking lot is terrible.

Employees are nice but I bit into some nasty tasting chicken in my burrito it tasted so fishy / gross :(

The employees don’t want to answer questions. They try to rush you to order before giving you a chance to look at the menu. Being rushed to order by multiple employees is annoying when you’re trying to think of what you want to order. All I wanted to know was if the tortilla for the tacos were corn or flour so I’ll know to get tacos or a bowl. Food looks good but sadly didn’t get the chance to try it

I just got home from picking up my order and had a disappointing experience. Before placing the order online, I called the store to confirm they offered a military discount. I was told they did, and they advised selecting the “pay at store” option so the discount could be applied in person. However, when I arrived, I was only given a 15% discount because I wasn’t in uniform—something they never mentioned over the phone. To make matters worse, when I got home, I realized that none of the sauces I selected in the order were included. I ordered nachos with cheese, three burritos, and one bowl—but not a single sauce. Very disappointed in the customer service and overall experience.

Every time we call in orders they screw up my order or even on line. My burrito only consists of 3 things inside the tortilla beans steak cheese and they manage to screw it up. My wife's they could never get the tortilla right and other items. If your not standing in front of them they screw it up . That why the line is always so long. Please help with training how to follow simple instructions. We paying for food that we pay to eat not to have too give away and have seek food elsewhere. If they can do that I wouldn't be writing this review at this location. Normally get from n Austin location should Creek 5 🌟

Kinda disappointing, never had bad service before. Ordered in advance; 3 kids meals so I could pick up at window. I’m told I must have the wrong location bc they can’t find my confirmation number or name and to pull out of the pickup line bc they are busy. I pull to a parking spot and see I do have the right location and order number. Go inside and guess what- they find my order. Dude hands me 3 empty drink cups and asks me if I want a drink carrier, I mean- yes it’s just me picking up for 3 kids at home. Then the soda was out of flavor for 2 out of 3 drinks. I told him I’d gone through the pickup to avoid this struggle and they just watched me struggle while people were annoyed I was trying to fill 3 drinks and a big to go bag. Idk that I’d come here after work, maybe better when they are slow or an off night but not a lot of effort was made overall. After a long day, this mom was tired and I have sticky soda I didn’t want all over me from trying to manage that one handed.

Every time I visit the Cabo Bob’s on Ben White, there’s an issue with my order. I order from Cabo Bob’s all over Austin and never have problems anywhere else, but this location consistently messes up my online orders. I usually have a small window to eat, so when my order is wrong and I have to wait for it to be fixed, it throws off my whole schedule. I love the food, but the lack of attention to detail at this location makes it really unreliable.

They messed up my online order.. and had to remake it.. the order they gave me was poorly made and extremely shorted!! Along with all the ingredients I ordered extra rice and excited beans.. the container was only 1/2 full... horrible experience.. probably wont consider going back...
