Great food and a great experience in the bartin springs food truck park. Almost zero wait on a Tuesday morning. I got The Mess and it was fantastic! All the ingredients to make a sandwich truly delicious. Prices are in line with other comparable places.
Breakfast was delicious, we popped in before heading to the botanical gardens and it was the perfect way to start our day. Fast and very friendly- don’t forget to add avocado!
We popped over for a quick breakfast and coffee and wow what a spot! The food and coffee were prepared quickly and both were delish. They have music playing and the vibes are so good!
The breakfast sandwich is amazing. Food cook to perfection the Kaiser roll is so good. Every serves with a smile. Coffee didn’t need sugar it was so good and perfect temp.
We ordered the Big Mess and Bodega Classic with coffee. Since it was our first visit, they kindly gave us free coffee, which was such a nice touch. The sandwiches were fresh, flavorful, and perfectly balance -the bread, filling, and sauce ratio was spot on. There’s also a covered seating area, which is super convenient. Excellent service and amazing taste.
As a New Yorker living in Texas the craving for a real bacon egg and cheese is REAL. Me and my boyfriend came here hoping to finally scratch that bodega itch and honestly it did. The food was great the flavor is definitely there and it really gave NYC bodega vibes as far as flavor goes. I will say it could use a little more meat in the sandwich but overall it hit the spot and satisfied the craving. If you’re from New York and missing Ny food this is definitely worth checking out.
This breakfast sandwich personally offended me with how good it was so here we are. I ordered it on DoorDash thinking “cool, this will hold me over” and suddenly I’m rethinking all my past breakfast choices. Perfect bread, everything cooked exactly right, flavors doing way more than they needed to. I ate it way too fast and immediately wished I had ordered a second one “for later” (lies). If you’re on the fence, get it. If you’re not hungry, you will be. 10/10, no notes, I will be back.
I’ve been here twice already and it’s an amazing experience. The Big Mess is delicious, I love everything about the sandwich and the owner even took time to talk and introduce while we were waiting and even after sitting down. I will say the wait is longer than ideal but they do have a lot of people that come and order. The place is lively, good seating with shade, and parking is rough so when you find a spot, take it! Overall, great atmosphere, great place to grab an egg sandwich of some kind and enjoy the time. Recommend trying them out.
Got the Big Mess Combo added hashbrown and was a little hesitant because I don't do "big messes" BUT to my surprise it wasn't a mess at all. These breakfast sandwiches are filling and flavorful. One was definitely enough to be full on. I gave my extra sandwich to my son. Lol! I'll for sure be eating here again!!
We tried this for the first time after seeing it on Instagram and it is worth the hype. The flavors were so good. Service was great and they were super helpful and even brought out different sauces for us to try. The bacon egg and cheese is a great staple and the medium sauce was perfectly tangy. Overall a great place. This is a half eaten photo but it’s bigger in person!
My wife and I visited Eggman ATX with high expectations based on the glowing reviews, as we’re both passionate breakfast sandwich enthusiasts. Unfortunately, the experience didn’t quite live up to the hype. The egg sandwiches were decent but ultimately felt like something we could easily recreate at home. What was most disappointing was the bread – it lacked the toasted, buttery quality that elevates a good breakfast sandwich into something memorable. Given the food truck format and the praise this place receives, I was hoping for that crispy, golden-edged texture that makes each bite special. Beyond the preparation, the proportions were off. There was significantly more bread than egg, which threw off the entire balance of the sandwich. This made it feel dry and doughy rather than having that satisfying moisture and richness you expect from a breakfast sandwich. The coffee was acceptable, though admittedly finding exceptional coffee can be challenging. I appreciate what Eggman ATX is trying to do, and perhaps we caught them on an off day. The location and setup are convenient, and the service was friendly. However, for the price point and reputation, I expected more attention to the details that separate a memorable breakfast sandwich from an ordinary one – proper bread preparation and balanced ingredient ratios being chief among them.
Eggman is such a great spot for breakfast and brunch! The food is fresh, flavorful, and cooked just right — especially the eggs and breakfast sandwiches. The portions are generous, and everything comes out quickly. The staff is super friendly, and the place has a fun, relaxed vibe that makes you want to stay a little longer. Definitely a go-to spot for a delicious and satisfying start to the day!
Food truck located with other food trucks in a shady area along the street. Order taking was fast and efficient, I waited about 15 minutes for the food. My favorite part was the iced coffee which they kept cold as orders were prepared. Coffee tasted above average, very good coffee taste, surprising. Breakfast sandwich was pretty good, I can’t say I fell in love with it, but it was a decent execution. I liked the compact presentation and the sausage. For me, the cheese was the weakest part, I prefer a natural tasting cheese vs the processed one used here. Pleasant area to eat under the trees which provided shade on a very hot day when we were there. Overall, recommended place if you are in the area. P.S.: if this review was helpful, please leave a 👍, thank you 🙏
As a breakfast sandwich lover, this was great! I got The Big Mess, which was delicious. I had the medium sauce which added a nice flavor with a very slight kick. I will say the medium sauce is actually hotter than the “hot” sauce. The hot sauce only comes half full in the container, likely because they expect you to use a tiny amount, but it legitimately had zero spice. It smelled hot so I was disappointed, and maybe it was just our containers, not sure. Overall, would recommend! Side note: There are a lot of flies outside due to the 4 food trucks all next to each other so we just ate in the car, no problem.
Got to visit the eggman 30 minutes right before they closed! Since it’s our first time, we ordered the bodega (bestseller) and a hash brown. Line up wasn’t crazy, and the workers are absolute angels - everyone is so so friendly and kind. The hash brown was good but I do feel like it’s similar to frozen ones you can get at the grocery store. Our bodega breakfast sandwich was also good (would be better with maybe 1-2 extra slices of bacon hehe). The buns are a bit dense and the sandwich isn’t as loaded as I’d like but still tasty. All in all, I’d say worth the try. I’m not sure if these are worth waiting in line for though, or if I’d come back, but still solid breakfast sandwiches and great if you happen to be driving by or live around the area.
The bread is what makes this breakfast sandwich place a good sandwich. That’s all tho. It’s just like a homemade breakfast sandwich you can make at home. What disappointed me the most was the hash browns. They were once patties but came to me as greasy and completely crumbled. Didn’t even touch them. Just wasted extra money.
I was really disappointed with my order. The hashbrowns arrived soggy and unbelievably greasy, which made them almost inedible. The breakfast sandwich was a letdown too the bacon was undercooked, and the sandwich itself was incredibly dry. To make matters worse, the bread was way thicker than the actual filling inside, making each bite feel unbalanced. Overall, it just didn’t meet expectations at all.
Don't order on DoorDash. They jacked my order and noone answered the phone. Had to deal w a DoorDash chat agent to get a refund. Bread was stale, cheddar I paid extra for was just American and they just shoved the hash browns into the bread instead of the actual ingredients. Dodgy as hell. Sandwich would have been gross regardless by the taste of what they did send.
