Rockin' Rolls

These pizza rolls were delicious and very shareable. They are also a good option for picky eaters because they have fillings for just about everyone. I tried to Steve Vai(ham and cheese) and Stephen Sondheim(meats) and can't wait to try their other offerings.

I have ordered a few times in the past through apps since I don’t get to the area often. Today my sister and I had to put down the family dog (this is relevant, stay with me). It was rough and sad and we were grieving and I decided cooking was no longer an option. So I ordered 6 rolls and some cannolis. I left a note mentioning how this is a comfort food due to what happened. These lovely people wrote a sweet note and even sent a card for 6 rolls at a later time. I will be promoting them to everyone I can and my sister and I will be visiting in person very soon. This was such a needed and human moment.

Fresh sourdough bread and high quality ingredients!! Best food and the nicest owners. We went around 30 minutes before closing and called in advance to make sure it was alright and the OWNERS WERE SUPER SWEET 🥹!! Ordered 24 rolls in total not knowing how big were but to my surprise we ate all of them because they were just that good. The bread is crispy on the outside and super soft buttery and fluffy on the inside. Rolls were FILLED. They do not skimp on toppings and filling and each bite was so flavorful. Before the owners locked up for the night they asked if we needed any more napkins and silverware (we were eating outside late at night) Best service I have ever received and the best pizza rolls i have ever had for sure!

OMG!! This place is awesome!! They make the sourdough and everything from scratch along with the spicy honey they grow their own peppers for!! It’s not spicy to me at all and I’m a wimp! The chipotle ranch surprisingly goes great as well! You get a free sauce w every order. The owners are so personable and friendly. We will def be returning here! The dough is airy but still doughy in a good cooked way.. just OMG.. go get you some!!!! We have the Steven Tyler (the ricotta in these was so creamy) and the original Steve . SO good! And that’s coming from my bf whose name is Steve he was skeptical but loved it lol !

I don't have photos for these amazing little pizza rolls (You should see plenty online already). Instead I wanted to capture the beauty of this vessel of joy. It's midnight on Friday, and this awesome food truck and the people inside are churning out pure passion in the form of these delicious sourdough pizza rolls. The late night offers a limited menu, however, you'll hear no complaints about it from me, as the classic pepperoni is the clutchest of clutch when it comes to pizza rolls. But please come back for the chicken bacon rolls (with the chipotle ranch!), the ham and cheddar, or the total meat packed rolls. They're all glorious, and they are all right there for you! I stand on business. These pizza rolls slap harder than the actual pizza that is made in Austin. Getch'ya some, pronto!

We got the classic and the Steven Tyler, both good but slight preference for the flavor combo of Steven Tyler. Glad to have tried this place, the sauce was good. Great prices. 3 rolls per person is almost too much

I had the Steve Classic (Pepperoni), it was really good! I am really impressed by the combination of flavors, it’s very tasty, a 6 count was more than enough for me, make sure to get a side of ranch & marinara sauce, it truly makes a difference, the people at the window were polite and friendly, thank you.

Really surprised by the fluffiness and airiness of these rolls. That volume-without-density makes the rolls much easier to enjoy than most other pizza rolls. The flavors were on point too but really the five stars is for the chewy and airy texture. That's why I'll go back. I also recommend using marinara. I don't know where it's from but these rolls go much better with the slightly sweet tomatoes than with the tangy aioli-based ranch or chipotle ranch. I get people who like ranch but I strongly urge marinara here. On a side note, I got there at 2:30am and they were willing to serve me literally the last order they had. Thank you for indulging my impulsiveness and comforting the end of a night where I had not eaten enough.

i LOVE this place. I was visiting from out of town, and saw this place as a good food truck in the city. I love sourdough, so I knew I had to check it out. I ordered the classic steve (pepperoni) and the stevie wonder (chicken bacon ranch) —both so good I already memorized what they’re called. I came back the very next day to get some more before heading back home because they were SO incredible. The sourdough is to die for, and the fillings were so good. The chicken bacon was SO good—the chicken was flavorful and just really YUM. Definitely worth your time and money!! Seating is available next to the food truck!

This is the best foodtruck I’ve ever tried. They sell pizza but simply better: the dough is fluffy and delicius and the ingredients inside make the experience even better. Will come back soon. Thanks guys!!

Growing up here in Austin, the old Rockin' Tomato Pizza Company was a staple spot. We'd get da pizza rolls and play pool. It closed and a piece of us DIED ok? Then I moved to an apartment off Burnet and saw a place called Rockin' Rolls??? I said no way! Are they affiliated with Rockin' Tomato? When I went there and asked, they said "Yes! I smiled at him, (I’m a native Texan through and through ☺️) and he immediately just turned around 🤷🏽‍♀️It was a pretty quick turnaround for 2 dozen rolls, and sweet lady at the front as always.

Their pricing strategy for the dipping sauces is false advertisement at best to price gouging at worst. I ordered 6 pepperoni rolls thinking/knowing that for 3 pepperoni rolls you get 1 sauce, so 6 rolls would get you 2… NOPE! You have to pay extra for getting 2 sauces with 6 rolls even though you always get 1 sauce with 3 rolls. They might as well remove that huge tip jar on the counter because the owner wants to gouge the customer with their stupid pricing strategy.
