Fun location of Austin soup etc stalwart. Order online or at the window. Seating is at bar stools or under umbrella picnic tables on a sandy corner overlooking Lamar Boulevard. There's a little area to play and a little parking lot shared with thundercloud subs + other businesses. I love their mulligatawny soup and pepperoni sandwich. An inexpensive, great local meal.

Delicious, affordable comfort food and a cozy outdoor atmosphere! What's not to love? Soup Peddler is a great pitstop on the way to work. They specialize in soups, grilled cheese sandwiches, and tasty homemade beverages. So glad to have them in the neighborhood! 🤗💕

I absolutely love soup peddler it’s my very most favorite place to come get something delicious and nutritious my most favorite thing to have here is the seven veggie army with cucumber and I cut the beets and I could drink it every single day. Everyone is so friendly they are always fast they have wonderful grilled cheese I really like their chickpea salad. I love that they have ping-pong tables did I mention, I love the soup peddler?!

MyTake: wonderful spot for a juice and salad. Everything is fresh and healthy, a true feel good food spot. The staff is always friendly and you leave this spot feeling good about thwart you are putting into your body. We have come here for lunch/to go dinner every time we are in Austin!

Very cute, kinda like a permanent food truck. It has a nice little garden courtyard, a ping pong table, and picnic tables with misting fans too. The juice shots I got were very good (wheatgrass and royal flush) but I definitely want to go back and try the rest of the menu. Besides fresh juice, they also carry soup, smoothies, chia pudding, salads, and pastries. Some of the baked goods were vegan and gluten free but I couldn’t try any with my allergies—too bad because they looked and smelled AMAZING. Definitely a repeat 💖

Perfect hearty soup lunch on a cold wet day. A good variety of soups to choose from. Bone broth, red pepper & Gouda, and tomato basil soups were all fantastic. I ordered a typical grilled cheese and that was superb. Not to much cheese and not skimpy either. The basil, pesto & provolone grilled cheese was surprisingly delicious and next time I’ll order that! They offer Soup Peddler merch which is kinda cute and fun. I’d definitely be a returning customer.

Awesome! First time here and I see it becoming one of our regular places. I got the pepperoni, pesto, mozzarella sandwich with a chicken pozole soup. It was incredibly delicious. My fiancé got a cheddar grilled sandwich with a tomato basil soup (pictured below) and a Tropicalia smoothie. The smoothie alone was amazing. As I was eating my food, I was already checking out the menu to see what I would get when I came back. Keep up the great work.

Cute, cozy, comfort food. Perfect for small portion or for lunch. Take to go or eat on their little patio, not covered. Can get busy on the weekends and peak lunch hours. No drive through you stand in line outside on covered area. The line can be long but don't let it turn you away the line is quick. The food can not be altered so everything is served as is on the menu making it quick. Perfect sandwhich, salad, and soup combos also smoothies and shots. All reasonably priced! **I recommend any sandwhich or soup !

This a great place trendy spot in South Lamar to get some healthy food. The smoothies and juices are all made with natural ingredients and are great!. I had the turkey chilli soup and it was delicious. The wait is not to long at all. I would definitely check this place out. If you like trendy and healthy. I would recommend this place to anyone.

The facility is tiny but unique. You order through a walk up window and they have a few menus outside so you can check out what they have before you order. There is a few seats under cover and then there is an area with picnic tables on a gravel lawn to sit and relax. The facility is on an odd street corner but is prime real estate for people watching and catching up with friends. Parking can post a problem but keep trying and you can find a spot. The juice I got was a seven veggie and I liked it. It's not sweet at all so it may not be for everyone. The overall experience was good. Sometimes there is a bit of a wait but for a quality drink it's fine. I will be back. The picture for menu items and pricing was taken May of 2019.

Just an FYI for anyone ordering soup…they heat up the soup up in plastic bags. If you care about microplastic exposure…I would skip this place. Unfortunately I won’t be ordering soup here anymore unless they switch to a more natural process of heating that doesn’t involve plastic.

It kills me to give a bad review here. In a blind taste test I wouldn’t be able to tell the difference between Campbells chicken and wild rice soup and theirs. The turkey pesto grill cheese had one very thin slice of turkey on it and lacked flavor and comfort that so many talk about in other reviews. Damn, I’ve wanted to try this place for so long and am just disappointed it wasn’t better.

I stopped by The Soup Peddler on South Lamar while passing through and thought it would be nice to grab a couple of drinks. Unfortunately, the experience was very disappointing. The staff were extremely unfriendly and seemed bothered by our presence, even though the place was empty. When we walked in and said “hi,” no one replied. Instead, we were greeted with a blunt “what do you want?” which felt very rude and unwelcoming. Because of the attitude we received, we decided to leave without ordering anything. Customer service makes a big difference, and sadly this visit left a very negative impression. I will not be returning to this location or to any of their other venues.

20 mins for a grilled cheese that tastes terrible and two cold packs of soup. If they are going fo be served cold advertise that. High volume restaurants look for 15 min ticket times to server quality. This place is a terrible gimmick. Don't waste money here.
