Avis sur The Kebab Shop Austin
Welcomed by the manager who was very friendly, warm as we came in. Tried for the first time as we are from the UK she explained everything to me. The chilli sauce jalapeño sauce were 10/10. Huge portions could not finish
Ashley provided such great customer service at The Kebab Shop! She was friendly, attentive, and made the whole experience feel welcoming from the moment I walked in. Everything was incredibly clean and well-kept, which I really appreciated. You can tell she takes pride in her work. The food was great, and the service made it even better. Thank you, Ashley! We’ll definitely be back.
It was amazing here!! We ordered carved lamb beef strips, saffron rice and fries from the build your own protein plate(amazing!), and got the food in 5 minutes! It was delicious, the sauces were perfect and the tzatziki sauce complimented the carved lamb beef strips perfectly! It was so good here that I had to leave a review!
Consistently awesome. Last time I had such great Mediterranean food was in Bangkok at a Lebanese restaurant called Beirut. Get chicken shawarma and grilled sirloin steak. Also fries are super addictive.
restrooms are locked probably while they are clean. condiment area is clean. Soda machine looked clean. table tops clean. Floor was clean. Yellow rice, tasty and fresh. We had lamb and chicken had good flavor. Veggies tasted fresh.
I came to the kebab shop today on East austin and the food was amazing. The Manager and the workers did an amazing job on making the food. It came out fresh and amazing. I’ve been to all restaurants of the kebab shop and this is my favorite location of all locations. Everyone has to come here.
I got the Grains Bowl with Saffron Rice, and medium rare steak, plus all the add ins except olives. The Baklava is perfectly lightly sweet - not american diabetes sweet, if you're lookin for a little baklava sweet treat that is not overbearing in sugar - I highly reccomend it. Props to whoever baked it. All the sauces are on the outside too so you can get as much extra as you like!😋 Everything was down right scrumptious, the steak was cooked just right too, Will make a note to come back here again, Thank you!
Excellent food and outstanding service! The kebabs were delicious, fresh, and full of flavor. The service was just as great—especially thanks to Jonas, who was incredibly friendly, attentive, and made the whole experience even better. Highly recommend this place, I’ll definitely be coming back!
Absolutely delicious! I had one of the best kebabs I’ve ever tasted; juicy, flavorful, and perfectly seasoned. My partner had a salad/protein bowl that was just as amazing; super fresh and packed with flavor. Great portions at a fair price. Highly recommend!
Have been coming to this location for years. The people working here, from manager to cooks, have always been welcoming and keep me a loyal customer. Julio, the manager, provides outstanding customer service. The food is consistently tasty, and on top of that, comes out quite fast, which is ideal for busy days at the office and you want a great meal.
The kebab shop is Tabouleh to die for. The pita chips are as crispy as a refreshing sprite from McDonald’s the grilled chicken being the highlight of what they do best in the heart of North Central AUSTIN lies one of the best Mediterranean style meals you could possibly have For a reasonable price and large portion size.
The flavors in each dish were perfectly balanced, and the ingredients tasted incredibly fresh. I loved the veggies options available. The falafel wrap and chickpeas salad were bursting with flavor, and the portion size was just right. The staff went above and beyond to customize your dish. They were attentive without being intrusive. The food arrived promptly despite busyness. Affordable prices for lunch meals. I felt like I got more than my money’s worth.
Went today for lunch and ordered the lamb D-Wrap for the first time. The cashier was very friendly and knowledgeable about all the ingredients that went inside it. She gave me advice and was super helpful. The D-Wrap was super delicious and the green spicy sauce that they offer is perfect for it. There was no waiting and the restaurant was empty at the time we went! The restrooms were also very clean and well maintained! If you live here in Austin or just visiting this is one of the places downtown to go eat that you have to check out!
Ordering is super easy. They have a pretty simple menu and the options are all detailed very easily. I love that the sauces are available for you to get on your own. They have 2 spicy sauces: spicy cilantro and spicy chili. They both have great flavor while not being overly spicy. The garlic yogurt is very good as well. A bit watery but still great flavor. The food itself was DELICIOUS. My husband tried the lamb, while I had the chicken. The rice and fries were perfect pairing. I wish we had one in San Antonio. Next time I come to Austin, I will be back!!!!
First time trying Kebab Shop and it was such a pleasant experience. The staff was so friendly and extremely helpful with questions! Shoutout to the Hostess she was amazing. The food was good as well, most definitely on my food list now.
Stopped by The Kebab Shop for a quick meal and it did the job. The line moved fast, the place looked clean, and the staff were friendly. I got a chicken bowl with rice and veggies and it was fresh and filling. The sauces make it, so definitely add a couple. Portions were solid for the price, and everything tasted like it was made to order. Good spot when you want something quick but not greasy fast food.
The food is consistently excellent and has never disappointed. However, this particular location has issues with customer service. I’ve overlooked it in the past, but during my most recent visit the rudeness felt unnecessary—the employee was dismissive and appeared uninterested in helping. Because of this, I’m giving this location two stars. I still recommend the food, but be aware that the service here may be poor.
Wrap is not made with pita bread it’s normal flower tortilla, the problem was not only that it was absolutely burned and smells like pure burned iron. Later I sneak and took at look at the grilled it was terrible ! All dirty with all burned things in it, I am so sad I ate here. Never again. Latter when I told the lady about how burned was my tortilla she just said: oh thank you for let me know , period. Not sure how this places brags of amazing customer experience, amazing food, blah blah all over the decoration. I feel robbed.
Usually don’t post reviews, but my jaw dropped when I opened my 15 dollar gyro to find one that is LITERALLY 2.5 inches (being generous) in diameter. 15 dollars for what? I ordered it through lunchdrop at my place of work, but I guess if you order through there, you don’t get your money’s worth? Been to the Georgetown location many times, ordered delivery too, accumulated points even, and never had an issue. Really abysmal. Upside is that they did give me extra dill sauce, but what do I even have to dip in it…
