I’m delighted when my early arrival to the airport and ease of security means I can spend a leisurely hour at the Austin airport Vino Volo (this one by gate 23). Airports are so stressful but I feel like I’m in an oasis from stress here. I usually order a flight of three wines and the $2 reserve taster for being a loyalty member. The brie and prosciutto sandwich was a great partner to them.

Perfect place to relax before boarding your flight! This location in the Austin Tx Airport had options for every palate. Most importantly the staff was knowledgeable about wine and made appropriate recommendations based on our questions and likes. The bar area was clean and continually monitored with a cool chalkboard full of information and specials. I wide variety of wines to match your wallet. Stop by and see this crew!

Friendly staff and good selection of wines. I had some time before to board my flight. I am so glad I stopped by to taste some wines. I really liked the White collection. I will surely come back again when I am at this airport.

Vino Volo was a pleasant surprise while we are waiting on our connecting flight. The atmosphere and staff are very nice. The food presentation is nice as well.

Hard to find vegetarian food and this place is veggie friendly and would highly recommend 👍

I just had a glass of wine here and I left my credit card. The employee working ( I did not get her name) came and found me at my gate to give it back to me. She was incredibly kind and I wanted to recognize her.

Excellent spot with great service. The food is amazing and priced fairly, while the service is even better with servers going above and beyond here to make your experience better. I would highly recommend!

Vino Volo is a wine bar located in many airports mostly in the United States. The ones they have are good but a bit expensive, and most of their spaces are well designed and reasonably relaxing places to hang out. This location in Austin is a little smaller, but still nice. ***I should point out that the location on Google maps is wrong. Google maps shows the location being down close to gate one, whereas in fact, this is in the total opposite direction near gate 22. When you get through the main security, turn right instead of left.

Update October 2025 We have the chance to enjoy a leisurely lunch at Vino Volo in ABIA, which is always a treat! Service was great, attentive but un.obtrusive. A flight of bubbles and rose were the beverages of choice… hits and misses there, but that’s why you try flights! The Brie and Prosciutto sandwich was delicious as always, and a side of truffled potato chips was a perfect pairing! Recommend Vino Volo at any airport, but especially good at ABIA! Update April 2024 Visited Vino Volo again recently while waiting for a flight at ABIA. Vino Volo is consistently good, good wine and good food. When it comes to dining choices at airports, Vino Volo does it right. For "frequent diners" Vino Volo has a membership club where you earn points for the dollars spent there. As you spend more, the free stuff grows. Most notably, once you reach the top level (out of 3 levels) you get 20% off your bill every visit. This visit we share a flight of champagne and rose wines. All were good! We also had a glass of Laurenz pinot grigio that was also good. On the food side, we shared the italian panino and brie/prosciutto sandwiches. Both were good, but we gave the hat tip to the italian panino. Recommend Vino Volo, they have locations in airports all over the country. PS Sorry for the bite out of one of the sandwiches, almost forgot to take the pic! LOL _____________________________________________ Stopped by Vino Bolo as per usual while waiting for a flight at ABIA. Two locations in Southwest’s terminal. Good wine, limited menu but decent food… mainly salads, sandwiches, cheese plates, a few desserts. Service is always good, friendly, attentive bartenders/waiters. They have their own app, sign up and scan your receipts to earn points. The points add up to lots of free stuff! I usually plan to arrive at the airport early to make this stop… very relaxing way to spend an hour before boarding time! Check their website to discover in which airports Vino Volo can be found. Highly recommend!

This is really nice place to have a drink and a bite while waiting for your flight. Live music and the helpful staff makes for a very relaxing and enjoyable experience before your flight. I really appreciate Corey for his patience.

What a wonderfully pleasant surprise, airport food that is actually palatable! Paired a proscuitto sandwich on ciabatta with a glass of wine, and it was the perfect preflight meal. Would recommend and definitely stop again when flying out of Austin.

Place was completely full but got table in 10-15 minutes. Nice collection of wines and has mimosa too. All Italian food. Nice food and very polite staff.

Everything was as good as it can get at an airport, but the menu doesn’t match what they serve. The arugula salad comes without chicken but it says in the menu that it comes with it. When I complained the staff kindly gave me a side of grilled chicken at no cost.

Service was lacking. There were several empty tables when I arrived. All of them were dirty. I had to find someone to clean one for me. No one took my order. I had to ask the person at the bar if I ordered from him or if they would come to my table. His response was either way. After I placed my order and got my wine, I caught the same server as he was passing by and asked for some water to drink a bit. He never brought it for me. Eventually, another server passed by and I asked for water and he brought me some.I was done with my beverages for a while and no one was paying any attention to me. I finally had to ask for my bill so I could pay and leave.

Ordered a glass of prosecco and received the bill with frustration and passive aggressiveness. I could tell the server was having a hard time getting my card to work (I paid with prepaid debit card that had more than sufficient funds). She started banging the card against the table. She then punched the numbers manually into the POS, but it was weird—she was doing this really hard on a digital screen, but I did not see her swiping the card (my card had no chip). She then came to me and casually placed the check onto the table and said something like “it didn't work for the tip,” and turned around and left. I’d have been more than happy to leave a tip had she taken the time to explain what happened instead of just casually dropping the check and just leaving. It looked like they were understaffed and overwhelmed. I wouldn’t come back to this place.

This is supposed to be a wine bar.. so my expectations are slightly higher than just a bar at the airport... the flight of reds was dpwnright aweful.. it was served at room temp in Austin which is like 75+deg... how abt chill it a little.. also when you charge me $18 a glass can you atleast make sure its drinkable? The tempranillo was downright awefull and retails for $6 a bottle... I understand the need for a markup, but a 1500% markup for that wine is crazy... I have been to other Vino Vola locations, but dont remember it being this bad!
