The food here is good and tastes fresh. I love the soup and the salads. They give free water cup. They have fountain drinks. Indoor seating is comfortable and with controlled indoor air. Soothing music and clear glass windows. Fresh bread and variety of chips.

Came in for dinner and was immediately greeted by Nicholette, she took my order and I asked her about dessert, she suggested the Butter cake, I was hesitant, she said it was really good, I ordered it. All food is to go, got home and dug in. Cajun turkey sandwich was tasty and good. My son raved about the hot pastrami sandwich, he loved it. The Butter cake...OMG, it was wonderful, we shared it. The store was very clean and the restroom was too. Nicholette, is an asset, friendly, polite, helpful and made my visit here such a great experience I will come back very soon.

This place is so delicious... absolutely everything tastes wonderful and the staff is very helpful and friendly. We particularly love the Chicken BBQ Sandwich, Turkey Sandwich, and desserts! The cookies and Butter Cake are outrageously good!

Im not sure if the shop has caught on to how much I order, but by far this is my favorite place in Bakersfield. The sandwiches are delicious, the soup is always perfection, the banana pudding... well I eat it WAY too much because it's the best thing on earth and strawberries and cream is 🔥. I haven't tried the cookies yet but they too look amazing and I'm afraid l will get addicted. There is literally something for every day of the week my favorite place since I've lived in Cali.

I came in for the first time on Veterans day. The food exceeded my expectations. The turkey sandwich was delicious! The pumpkin pie might have been the best I have ever had. I will come back and I recommend this place to anyone looking for something good to eat.

Got the chili with cornbread but the cornbread was not available during summer time even though it's still on the menu, the restraunt was a little messy in the lobby but it was towards the end of the day, I also found it weird that they ask for a tip even though all they're doing is taking your order and that's it! The food was good but over priced I feel.

The sandwich was good. I had the New Yorker. It was NOT worth the price of $17, but it was good. The Yukon Potato Salad was gross. The reason for the three stars is that the sandwich and the service was good. If the service had not been good I would have dropped my rating to two stars. The place was packed, as usual, but the people working there were still friendly and quick. It was loud as usual, but friendly. I still recommend Sequoia Sandwich Company, but, do not get the potato salad.

Don't get me wrong, the food is definitely good, but it is a bit too pricey for my taste. Expect to pay $20 or more per person. Doubles in price in comparison of their subs with the subs in Subway. Sells a good selection of cold and hot subs, chips, salads, desserts, soups, and drinks. The seating is casual, with indoor and outdoor seating

I Have Never Felt Scammed like I Did after Opening the "Twice The Meat" Sandwich. This was basically a Club Deluxe with an extra slice of bread in the middle. There was absolutely no extra meat. If you look at the photos I added. Only 2.5 Slices of Turkey were added on the bottom bun with 1 slice of cheese. The only thing the extra bread did was separate the Lettuce, Tomato, and Bacon from the turkey to make this look taller. I removed the middle bread and ate the sandwich as the Club Deluxe. I felt scammed because of the Price for this "TWICE THE MEAT" $19 Meal.

Ordered the pastrami, there was almost no meat and the meat it did have was awful. The meat was fatty and weirdly gelatinous. The meatball soup was also all just broth.
