Trato amable y ambiente acogedor 👌🏼
A hidden piece of Sicily/Sardinia/Napoli and Rome in one very cozy restaurant. We went for the suggested outside menu fresh pasta with octupus-sicilian style, after a very creamy an delicious Borata, closing it with a beef stew wide pasta. All home made, excellent ingredients, great flavor and nice sharable portions. Served by a proud Sardinian, who was an excellent host All flushed down with a ottle of nero d'avelo. Finish with their home made tiramusu and your tummy will tell you, you did a good thing... Sylvie and I will come back for sure
Amazing restaurant. The calamari appetizer was probably the best version of this type of calamari dish I ever had. The mushroom pasta had great texture and taste. Ditto for the mozzarella appetizer. All in all, can't go wrong. The service is great, we had an issue with one of the wines - got fixed, no problem.
Amazing experience! The service was absolutely flawless – attentive, professional, and genuinely friendly. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, making you feel instantly comfortable. And the food… simply outstanding! Every dish was full of flavor and beautifully presented. A must-visit restaurant in Barcelona!
Hands down the best Italian meal I’ve had in Barcelona. The ragu was really excellent, as was the casarecce. All clearly homemade and incredibly flavoursome. The wine selection was fantastic. The decor and vibe of the restaurant is also wonderfully rustic. The service was extremely warm and friendly.
The place is just amazing! The food was very nice from fresh products. The service is perfect, very attentive and helpful, the cook agreed to overcook my pasta, as my stomach is not very strong. For starters we had fried eggplant and smoked mozzarella, the last one especially was impeccable 🫰🏻 Pappardelle pasta with pork and beef was creamy and nourishing, portions were big. The atmosphere is super friendly, just when you enter the restaurant you fall in love with the smell, well, I did, it smelled of very good food, something like cream pasta I had. The bread they give you is fluffy and spongy, highly recommended to eat with smoked mozzarella.
If you’re in Barcelona and craving a taste of Venice, Bacaro is a must-visit. The warm, welcoming service sets the tone for a fantastic meal. The menu features authentic Venetian dishes, and I had the veal liver—cooked to perfection with rich, bold flavors. The cozy atmosphere and excellent food make it a standout spot for something unique in the heart of the city. Highly recommend!
Experience the best of Italy 🇮🇹 in the heart of Barcelona 🇪🇸 The food is just divine, from perfectly al dente pasta to sumptuous tiramisu, every bite transports you straight to Italy.🍝🍷 All the dishes were delicious, my all time fav was the seafood carbonara with caviar 🤩 The service is spectacular, with attentive and friendly staff. The only thing missing is the atmosphere music, which would complete the enchanting Italian ambiance of this small yet cozy dining place. Nonetheless, BACARO is a must-visit for anyone seeking a genuine Italian dining experience in Barcelona.
Our group of 4 had the most amazing dinner here. Everything from the food to service was 10/10. If you are looking for the best Italian meal in Barcelona, this is it. All staff were so attentive and friendly, from the waiters to the chefs, including the owner who is a huge personality and checks in on diners. We enjoyed the betroot risotto with salmon so much that we ordered another serving! Highly recommend
Amazing Italian restaurant. The place is charming and cozy with very nice staff. The dishes are different than the traditional Italian ones with very surprising flavors. The only thing we didn’t like was the dessert (biscoto) but it didn’t ruin our experience there because we loved everything else.
For sure the best italian here in Barcelona! You are going to eat as if you were in Italy 🇮🇹 i have tried 5 different dishes there and all of them are so delicious! Apart from that, the tiramisu is absolutely the best one in the city. I highly recommend you to eat here. Don’t forget to make your reservation, otherwise is going to be really difficult to find a table

Got a last minute table, book ahead as it’s busy. The food, wine and service were all fab! Loved dining here such a nice restaurant. Thanks for looking after us!

Italian soul, big hospitality Bacaro cooks in a Venetian-trattoria lane: Italian small plates, pastas, and market-driven mains that lean on simplicity done properly. And the best news is the food—some dishes are genuinely sensational, the kind that make us pause mid-conversation because the flavors are so clean and direct. The menu is on the shorter side, but we still eat very well here; it feels curated rather than limited. Hospitality is another major win. The room has that rare 100% welcome—warm, attentive, unforced—where we feel looked after instead of processed. That alone makes it easy to recommend. Two weak points, though. Desserts don’t land: they feel underdeveloped compared to the rest of the meal, like an afterthought at the end of an otherwise confident kitchen. And the wine list is short and expensive, with less flexibility than we’d want for a place that otherwise invites us to relax. Still, if the goal is to eat really good Italian food in a friendly room, Bacaro is a strong option Clean: 6/10 Comfort: 6/10 Food: 8.5/10 Wine: 6/10 Service: 9/10 The Experience: 8/10 Price: 50€/pax
Our appetizers were beautiful presented and amazing. The pastas were freshly made. We have the Tagliatelle with ragu that was nice. However, the crème brûlée with chocolate ice cream was a disaster. The crème were really soft and runny, coupled with the dark ice cream, the whole thing looked like a pot of mud. Stick with the tiramisu, which is ok.
