Excellent food, friendly staff. The lady who took our orders was simply fantastic; she accommodated all our requests, even those outside the menu. Highly recommended. Well done!
The atmosphere is incredibly welcoming and warm. The menu is very interesting and varied; we'll definitely be back to try other dishes. The Livorno-style cod and the strudel with chocolate and marron glaces are spectacular.
The food was truly excellent, with carefully prepared and delicious dishes. But the real added value was the staff: kind, attentive, and incredibly welcoming. I was with my dog, a one-year-old puppy who barked every now and then, and they were super calm and understanding: they even came over to tell me not to worry because he wasn't causing any trouble. It would be wonderful if this care and attention for others spread to all the places. I'll definitely be back!
Didnt eat but nice place
My palate still thanks me for the gastronomic experience I had at this restaurant. A taste of Piedmontese mountain cuisine, which had it all! Polenta and game, seasonal mushrooms, and even cod! And what about the desserts and house wine? If you come to Bardonecchia, remember to book!
It is a must go if you want to experience authentic mountain food with super friendly service. Everything was just perfect. Will come back again.

Excellent mountain restaurant, we ate really well, easy to get to, public parking in front, overall we had a good time! Prices are a little high, but that's okay, we're in the mountains!
One of many accidental discoveries, chosen thanks to Google Maps. Note: the place is small, so it's best to book in advance, especially on weekends. We ate both lunch and dinner, and all the dishes were excellent, but the polenta with Bra sausage and cheese was truly out of this world in terms of flavor and aroma. Many traditional dishes (Haute-Savoie/Piedmont) were cooked with love and skill, accompanied by the kindness of the service. A special note about the bulk wines: the Nebbiolo from the Langhe was on par with prestigious bottles; don't be fooled by the idea of bulk wine. One big regret: living almost 800 km away.
Excellent service, but unfortunately you have to make a reservation otherwise you won't find a table. Delicious, homemade dishes, ravioli with sausage and chestnuts were incredible, and the desserts were also noteworthy. The bathrooms were clean.

Really lovely welcome. Prosecco before the meal on the house. Great meal
Lunch for two on February 18th. A warm and welcoming place, very kind staff. They brought us a welcome glass of sparkling wine, and while we were choosing what to order, we opted for the Savoia appetizer: truly excellent! I fell in love with their homemade crostini with goat cheese and honey; there was also bell pepper with anchovies and sliced venison with cheese shavings. The second appetizer was pumpkin tart... excellent!! Then we moved on to the baked polenta concia and polenta with stew... both delicious, the meat so tender. All accompanied by half a liter of Nebbiolo and water. We skipped dessert because we were too full, and each ordered an amaro, one with gentian and one with lavender. Lunch, excellent... Paid 82 in total. But I can finally say I ate well and am satisfied, thank you!

Typical local cuisine plus a friendly atmosphere. Definitely would recommend
We had lunch at this restaurant on September 5, 2021. Typical Piedmontese cuisine... polenta, wild boar, sausage, lasagna... a respectable wine selection, excellent breadsticks, polite and efficient staff, and an aperitif at the start. The premises are well-decorated and very clean. Highly recommended for sampling good Piedmontese food!

An old-fashioned restaurant, off the beaten path from the upscale tourist trail, yet capable of offering a pleasant experience with traditional Piedmontese dishes, from classic appetizers (veal with tuna sauce, peppers with anchovies, Russian salad, etc.) to savory first courses, such as black truffle ravioli and tagliatelle with blueberries, zucchini, and strips of prosciutto, all the way to traditional desserts, such as bunet (a type of pasta) and chocolate, peach, and amaretti tart. The price was slightly higher than expected.
