The food was phenomenal and the sauce… I don’t know that I’ve had marinara sauce that was that good! It was so so good! The staff are incredibly friendly and that alone would have earned a five star review from me but add to that the fantastic food and it’s no wonder this place is constantly overflowing with people!

Absolutely amazing food!! Told us wait would be an hour, 15 minutes later they called us back and said they could seat us!! I enjoyed the Buratta Linguini incredibly and I loved the turtle cheesecake. The street music was FANTASTIC, there was a birthday in our party and our waiter went over and requested songs for us!! Our waitress was fantastic, they were incredibly busy and they were able to keep up and check on us. Not to mention the amazing cars they have?? Wow!! There is a reason it’s so busy, this Italian place is not to be missed!! Thank you Colombo’s!!

Good new place in center of Hyannis. The shrimp fri diavolo wirh squid ink pasta was spot. My wife had the eggplant sandwich and although good was disappointed by the bread. Was a bit soggy and should have used different bread. Scallop/bacon pizza was also delicious. Will be back on my next visit to this new addition!!

Love Columbo's. They make all their own pasta in house. Was there tonite with my two college aged kids. My son had the chicken parm. My daughter had the gnocchi. I had a special. Bone in Swordfish. My son loved his chicken parm. Big portion, he could hardly finish. My daughter liked her gnocchi. A bit too much butter was her feedback. She has had this dish several times previously and it's usually perfect. But the gnocchi were fresh and soft. My bone in Swordfish was incredible. Cooked medium rare, melted in my mouth. Fresh with a nice light lemon beurre blanc. Really good. Large portion. Oh and the bread was fresh, and hot, served with excellent olive oil. Waitress was excellent. Looking forward to our next meal at Columbo's.

Delicious !!! Love the variety of the menu, they cover all the bases, pastries and gelato included 😋...The scallops and bacon pizza was dreamy, pizza crust is perfection 👍. Short rib ragu is a must!

We love Colombo’s! We typically sit at the bar facing outside. Sarah and the other bartender were great today. We went to try brunch but ended up still having lunch. It’s hard not to have their gnocchi! They make delicious espresso martinis. Every time we go, we are never disappointed.

Great food and wine selection! This place is popular during dinner so put your name down early. Definitely recommend the eggplant parmigiana. Great ambiance and helpful staff. Hope this helps!

Honestly, it's my favorite place for dinner on the Cape! Seriously, fantastic Italian food with so many gluten-free options! My daughter and I eat here often and never get sick. Our faves include the gluten-free meatballs and gluten-free pasta with white clam sauce. Their drinks are always good, and the service is fabulous. 5 stars all around ✨️ my only hope is they decide to add gluten-free veal parm to the menu one day 😋

First time here. I heard about this restaurant but finally decided to go in. I was greeted kindly. Sat down and my server came immediately to me. She was very knowledgeable of the menu. She also made me a cappuccino that she designed herself. I believe her name was Andgela. Food was good. Service was great. Definitely will try Colombo’s again.

This place was absolutely amazing!!!! The service was top notch!! Especially with having to handle a toddler. The waitress was extremely friendly and accommodating! The food was also amazing! Ask for bread! No really the bread was absolutely fresh and warm and delicious! We also got the caprese and a margarita pizza!! Which was also very delicious!

This is my third time at Colombo’s and now i can definitely say it’s my fav spot on Cape. I even celebrated my b-day there. Food is delicious and well served. Love complimentary warm bread and oil. Service is pretty fast and accurate. And it’s always busy with people so i guess i am not the only fan of this place here. Big thanks to the team 🫶

100% go to place! If you are in the area stop by. We only did dessert but from the looks of the dishes on the tables around us or appears more than just a passing score. The desserts - lemon sorbet could only be done better by serving in a lemon - the flavor was spot on without being sour well done. The Ricotta Pie (in NY we call this Easter Pie) was the best I've ever had anywhere in the States.

Very nice Italian restaurant. Went out for dinner alone. Did not feel rushed or put in a corner somewhere. I went for a lite dinner. Chose the Baby Spinach Salad with grilled shrimp. Nice sized salad. On the larger side. Had a Blood Orange Mocktail. Very good. Definitely recommend

Absolutely incredible experience from start to finish! The moment we walked in, we were greeted with warm hospitality that made us feel right at home. The food? Outstanding. Every dish was bursting with rich, traditional Italian flavor — from the perfectly cooked pasta to the delicious sauces and ingredients. The service was top-notch. Short ribs were melting, delicious meal. Pappardelle pasta in cream sauce, with shrimp it was amazing. If you’re looking for real Italian food done right, this is it. Highly recommend and will definitely be coming back whenever we will be in town.

If there is one word to describe Colombo’s it is WOW. The atmosphere from the beginning is very welcoming. Our amazing waitress Suzanne greeted us with a smile and never lost it even when I made my terrible dad jokes. She was very attentive and added so much more to an already pleasant experience. I ordered the espresso martini and it was the perfect amount of coffee and that punch of vodka. After I got the pistachio martini and that had an even better taste. For food I ordered the short rib ragu, and the portion size was huge. There was tender short rib in each bite and the pappardelle pasta was cooked to perfection. The flavor was incredible and I finished the plate more than satisfied. We ended up paying around $218 for 4 plates and 3 drinks which is a little more than we anticipated, but worth every penny. I will be back for sure.

Went on a Friday night as a walk in. The whole staff, while surprised that I had no reservation (will get one next time), was very welcoming. Our server Chris was very attentive and accommodated our allergies. The shrimp diavolo and the pistachio martini to end the night were great reccomendations. Will come back soon!

Our first time but definitely not our last. Last week we tried the Black Cat Tavern which was awesome and this week Colombo's which is a sister restaurant. Great food selection. Great service.

Excellent pizza and service. We've walked by this place countless times and it is almost always packed. We stopped in recently and sat at the inside bar. The bartender, Chris, was great. Their margherita pizza was fantastic. I will definitely be going back.

I’m a native Cape Codder and this place has always been a favorite but tonight was spectacular! I chose this place for my birthday and was very happy with me and my family’s experience. Our waiter’s name was Claudio and he was attentive, personable, and funny. The food was exceptional (as always), I definitely recommend the homemade meatballs that we had as an appetizer and the Chicken Saltimbocca with their Parmesan risotto. And you have to leave with a sweet because you can’t go wrong with their dessert case.

We had never been before so wanted to try with another couple before hosting our son's wedding rehearsal dinner. Simply put it was the best Italian food we've had, better than North End and North Shore. All service staff were excellent, and the restaurant wasn't noisy, which is a common problem. We'll be back, worth the ride from Plymouth.

Chris the waiter is probably the best person I have ever met. He deserves all the praise from all his higher ups. The food was absolutely incredible. We have been to 50+ Italian restaurants in the last three years and this was the best gnocchi I’ve ever had. If chris doesn’t get a raise I will never come back. (Make sure to order the pumpkin expresso martini )

Best Gluten Free restaurant on the Cape. My wife had the veal saltimbocca and I had the GF breaded veal parmigiana. Everything was delicious. We split a GF strawberry layer cake for dessert. My only recommendation would be to add Gluten Free bread to your menu. I’ve had some excellent GF dinner rolls at other restaurants, so I know that it is possible? On of my favorites is “Against the Grain.”

Me and my boyfriend went to Colombo’s for our anniversary and were greeted with amazing hospitality to start. We ordered drinks before dinner and they were outstanding! I ordered gluten free pasta with pesto. Gluten free pasta is hard to master, they did an outstanding job accommodating my allergy. With our dinner we asked the waitress for a suggestion for wine she suggested the pino noir from Oregon which was outstanding. Would 100% recommend!

Stopped for lunch, it was a warm sunny day, so we ate outside. Service was impeccable, the food came out perfectly timed better appetizer and entree. The wait staff was attentive but not over bearing. Loved the Bolognese, portion was generous, had to get a to go box. Was just as good the second day Highly recommended. Right on Main St, great place to people watch or have a nice conversation with your eating companions

The food was excellent and so where the drinks very comfortable atmosphere but the main reason why I will come back is our server, Diana was absolutely so sweet helped us navigate any questions we had about the menu she was just so friendly and easy to talk to , when it was time for dessert she everything she recommended was the best,,, i cannot say enough good things about her. The food was good and she made it even better. thank you, Diana for making our dining experience above and beyond

I love Colombo’s! I’ve been there many times over the years. Most recently, I visited on 9/9/25 and sat at the bar. I had a great meal, including little neck clams from the raw bar, a delicious Tuscan Wedge salad with grilled shrimp, and their exceptional pistachio martini, that is second to none. I received great service from the bartender, Kiley(?), and had an overall pleasant experience. Will be back my next time on “The Cape”.

In my opinion one of the hidden gems on Cape Cod. I have been to Colombo's several times. They have always exceeded my expectations. They have great lunch specials and great dinner options. There is something for everyone. The steak tips are cooked to perfection and are seasoned perfectly not to much of anyone seasoning. The stuffed peppers are another favorite. If you want a really, really, good cocktail, they won't disappoint. In the past we have split items only for the fact of not having a large appetite. They split the meal in two different plates. We didn't even ask for this service wish was so appreciated. Forget forget the desserts and the coffee is fantastic. I end with Lori, their hostess. Friendly, kind, so wonderful to talk to, always accommodating her patrons. A must visit if you're on the Cape.

Nice Italian. Good food and service. The first time I go to an Italian restaurant I always order spaghetti and meatballs..it's a simple test of the cuisine quality (the meatballs) and of that prime ingredient (the spaghetti). Both excellent. The two large meatballs were nice and not at all greasy. The linguine was homemade, yum.

The original place we intended to go to was having renovations done. This place was suggested. We entered and was greeted warmly I requested a window seat, the host said she like widow seat too. She offered us water. Our waitress came up she was pleasant and patient with us seeing it was our first time. We finally ordered got our meal and everything was good I must say. The steak tips were cooked perfectly chicken parmigiana with risotto was really good. The chicken in the Tuscano can pasta could use a bit more seasoning. I think they should offer the Tuscano wedge with the Gorgonzola dressing on the side. It was a bit overpowering. Other than that simply delicious and filling.

-quality of food is very good. Pricing is excellent. The bread that comes out at the beginning of the meal was perfect. Warm. crunchy outside. soft inside. Extea virgin olive oil was high quality. nothing less than a peefect begining ro the meal. - I ordered the veal saltimboca. was very good. The only thing I would say is less sauce. the brown sauce is strong and overshadows the take of the prosciutto on the veal. The veal was super tender. the risotto was quite tasty (cheese if you like cheese rusotta). - My wife ordered the grilled schrod, and she loved it. I tried it, and it was perfectly cooked. not easy to do on a grill. For desert, I had limoncello cake. was decadent. And we shared amaretto and cherry Gelato. Was excellent. -Decor has a lot of little detail to see creating ambiance. Outdoor seating is available. Madeline, our server was super awesome with us. Excellent demeanor. ** be aware that all their glasses have a chipped ring in them, which makes them appear dirty. It's the way the glasses stack. it is off-putting, and they should definitely get a better system.

Service was excellent but foods were just OK and kinda slow. The sole was good, but skip the paella. Not at Italian place. Sitting outside was key. Also, there were plenty of parking in the lot. Don't stress for street parking!

Ordered the Mediterranean wrap, came with Cape Cod Chips. It was a big portion. Shared the turtle cheesecake with the husband, who reported that the coffee was, "mmm, ok, but not great". Didn't visit the ladies room on this trip, but after looking up to the ceiling, I DO wish they would take a day to close and clean the rafters and the fans. 😉

Great spot on Main Street Great layout for dining and for their bar service. We sat along Main Street with several beautiful planters full of colorful blooms. We were promptly seated, water provided, and menu item questions explained on the spot for a variety of items. Bread was promptly provided with I've oil/grated cheese/black olive. Not long thereafter our lunch items came to the table.......a turkey cheese +panini and a spinish salad complete with walnuts...blue cheese....roasted peppers.... Server was fluent in the menu.

A slight mix of reviews.. my steak tips were fantastic, but all the other food was over salted a bit. I would highly recommend the tips!!! Perfectly cooked medium and so tender. The green beans were actually cooked perfect for me as well. Soft with a little crunch. Risotto was salty as were the sauce and meatballs. First bite of the lobster bisque had a shell. Again a mixed review. For the record, I ate all my tips and sides, but my wife struggled with her selection.

I have loved this restaurant for years but the portion size of the salmon has decreased dramatically over time. It was half the size it used to be when I went this weekend.

Came to Cape Cod for a week vacation, Colombo’s was so good we ate here twice! my husband loved the margherita pizza. I enjoyed the great mocktail options and the meat + cheese board!

Good to Very Good Italian food. My go to selection on the menu is the meatballs & ziti dish . It is a simple dish & a large portion, Colombo's is super consistent with it. Colombo's tomato sauce is as good as any Italian restaurant on Cape Cod. I also recommend any pizza on the menu. We sat at the front bar for dinner & our a server/bartender (Chris) provided excellent service.

Ok so I am not someone that writes comments even if they are great. Went for a quick dinner pizza and drinks. Waitress brought bread and oil for dipping . Great start pizza came ate it and it was delicious as food is usually . But much to my surprise I noticed a bug in the oil. The person cleaning table came over I showed her and she picked it up quickly and apologized. I told the waitress what was going on she said that was not there when I brought it over. Said sorry and gave the bill I left the normal tip but not sure that was enough for me to return

We ordered Pizzas and the crust didn’t seem fresh and the toppings weren’t great. The prices seemed highed based on the food quality. There could be a wait time during weekends. We waited for 30 mins for a table. The vibe is pretty decent and they have a bar too. The service was slow. Looked like they had less staff.

S
Suhasini Udayar

Food was meh. Nothing unique, just some Italian food. The chicken Parmesan was dry. Broccoli chicken Alfredo was decent. Don’t recommend the day boat cod. It was bland and the potatoes just didn’t go well with the fish. I would have like mashed potatoes instead of baked. And the worst part was, it almost to 40 minutes for our food to come when the restaurant was sparsely occupied. And they couldn’t find kids menu.

DO NOT ORDER THE SCALLOPS AND BACON APP. I was in last week and ordered the scallops and bacon. The scallops were very fishy and the bacon looks like microwave bacon. Overall I love the food here. I order the scallops and bacon a while ago and it was terrible. I tried it again and again terrible. They should take this off the menu

L
LINDA T

Went there a. Few days ago. Host gave us water with no ice. He went back inside. Waited and waited for menus. Another 2 people got seated and full service. Not right that we had to wait. I approached the host and told him. He could care less! We were there the night before and it was awesome!

After seeing a rave review online about their pizza, I decided to give it a try. Sadly, it was an extremely disappointing example of what a pizza should look like. First, it was a 12” cheese pizza for $17.95. A little pricey for a 12” pie, but acceptable. After getting it home, the unboxing showed it was overcooked and the bottom was blackened from the oven deck not being cleaned. As the attached photos show. Before leaving this review, I gave Colombo’s a chance to respond to me, several chances that is. First I emailed the manager, then followed up with several phone calls. No response. I would most likely seek an alternative for Hyannis pizza in the future. Purchase was made 12/19/24 at 4:45pm.

Normally we love their food, did DoorDash tonight because Tourists and traffic are crazy and we’ve had long weeks at work. They should take the scallop and bacon pizza off the menu for DoorDash and probably reconsider the scallop they put on it for $22. I think they cut up 1 scallop into 6 pieces and put it on the pizza. Totally not worth the money. Received it cold and hard as a rock. Also for a restaurant of the caliber I’m surprised they didn’t put salt and pepper on the asparagus. Charging people for this food and not putting salt and pepperoni is unbelievable. Locals at that. Not impressed.

This café could have potential, but the management is absolutely destroying it. What should have been a pleasant night out quickly turned into a frustrating experience because of the way the staff is treated and the way customers are disrespected. The management here sets the tone, and unfortunately that tone is rude, careless, and unprofessional. Instead of creating a welcoming environment, they speak down to employees, ignore guests’ concerns, and act as if customers are a burden rather than the reason the place even exists. It’s uncomfortable to watch staff work under such obvious pressure, and it directly affects the service — orders are sloppy, communication is poor, and the atmosphere feels hostile instead of relaxed. Food and drinks can only carry a business so far. When leadership is toxic and disrespectful, it poisons the whole experience for both employees and guests. Sadly, this is one of those places where management is on track to ruin everything. Bottom line: Until there’s a serious change in how this café is run, don’t waste your time or money here.

I visited Colombo’s Café last week with my family to enjoy some drinks at their outdoor bar. At first, everything seemed great; the service was friendly and attentive. However, during our visit, something extremely disturbing happened. While my mom and I stepped away to shop, my dad remained at the bar. He overheard a man; who appeared to be associated with the café, possibly even the owner, though he wasn’t working at the time, making incredibly vulgar and inappropriate comments about the young women working as servers and bartenders. These remarks were sexual in nature and deeply disrespectful. My dad was stunned and understandably upset, especially as the father of a young adult daughter. He asked a staff member if that individual was regularly present, and instead of responding, she gave him a look and walked away; which only added to our concern. After hearing what happened, my mom and I were disgusted. It’s alarming to think that someone connected to this establishment would speak that way about employees, especially in a public setting. While I can’t confirm whether the man is the owner, I’ve since come across reviews from former employees describing similar experiences, which makes this even more troubling. And as a small aside to any of the women working there: It is NOT your fault. I’m sure there are plenty of other businesses around that would love to have you work there. Wishing you all strength to get through this. ❤️ TL;DR: Someone affiliated with this café (possibly the owner, though not on the clock at the time) was overheard making explicit and inappropriate sexual comments about the young female staff. This behavior is unacceptable and deeply concerning. I strongly recommend avoiding this place. EDIT: I am not associated with any employees or former employees of this establishment. I am a tourist who witnessed this.

Went here a couple of days ago with my wife, absolute worst service possible. Waited 15 minutes to be greeted at table, another 15 minutes to receive drinks and place an order, so 30 minutes passed at this point. Our drinks emptied and was never able to get a second one. Food runner brought food out and we never saw the waitress again ftom the time we ordered food till when we left. We had to track down another waiter to bring our tab over. This is twice in a row having terrible service here, all done! Too many other options around. My wife and i are lucky if we can get out once a month, i want to enjoy it with her.
