I used the drive through, which has two drive-up speakers and two windows. Placed my order, paid at the first window, picked up at the second and I was gone. And the food was as ordered and fresh. That is good service!

The food was okay the staff were great they just need to pay better attention to the times on the food cabinets but otherwise then that the place was clean the staff was helpful kind and most did there jobs at top notch

Not a big fan of mcdonald's food in general (I loved it when younger) but my girls are huge fans of mcnuggets..they are 11 and 12 years old..little bitty things..I cut them back down to 10 each..they were up to 20....17 for each of them 6 for dog. Was missing a part of a large order last week..it happens..you need to check. But, overall, the staff at this branch are the friendliest..and the busiest. ...of note..will never cut myself off vanilla shakes

Dinner was fresh 9/23/22. Every once in a while take out/dine in has something missing. Delivery on the otherhand, it's like they don't care. Something is almost always missing or wrong. So often to the point I no longer have it delivered.

This particular restaurant has speedy service, the food was fresh, and had a cozy cafeteria. Staff were friendly and respectful. All in all, a good visit. Only four stars, however, because in the end, it is still just fast food.

Always so busy...always a long wait..it sucks when u go in to order but the person who should be working front end.. Is always too busy helping drive thru orders and just leaves dine in folks standing around..waiting to even pay for ordered entered in the kiosk. I know that it must mean they dont have enough employees but it just still sucks. There is no longer any bit of.. "Fast food," available. It isnt cheap, either. Better off going to a home town place...get good food...way faster than any "fast food," place in town..and sure...maybe have to pay a bit more..but it is worth it. Especially, when the home town places are way nicer.

Honestly only like the food. I mean it's fast food not really hard to mess up so it's always perfect. Chef it good at this job. Sometimes they take forever to come out but that's okay if your not trying to run somewhere quick. The garbage can In the drive through is always packed and overflowing which is gross sometimes lol.

This is one of the McDonald's that actually makes my order right but after dining in I noticed they definitely need more workers or a raise with how much they were running around. I messed up and instead of giving me a cold order they gave me a hot fresh one! Would be 5 stars if they had more employees because it definitely made me sad watching everyone run around, almost as sad as it not being so kid friendly anymore.

Too hot to be done for the day and needing a non-alcoholic spot to hang out (I've had way too many beers today!), I tried the redhead down the street but it was a rare one star. So I'm here for about an hour and a half. I found a table with a power outlet, placed my order on the McDonald's app and a few minutes later, one of the crew brought over my meal. Touchless and avoiding contact, I'm a fan. The McDouble was cooked and assembled properly, the fries were a bit underdone and the nuggets were warm. I swapped out the soda for a bottle of water, which was cold. Other than the slight miss with the food, the restaurant was clean inside and out. The wifi worked well and when I left, my phone and laptop were at 100%.

It must have been a while, and my beef is with McD's beef - the patty in the signature Big Mac is getting ridiculously small and thin. We came through the drive through Saturday night and it was a longer wait, however, the person taking our order was so cheerful and kind that it totally made up for it! Food and service was great!

Great place but seeing how it's the only Mcky D's for like a hundred miles I can see why the lines are long. Due to the two lane drive through and people often not wait their turn to merge they often get your order messed up and they often not give you everything you ordered and paid for. They no longer give enough salt in the fries to my liking. If you frequent here be sure to check your order before leaving. I'll be glad when construction to the old Mcky D's gets finished. They were much better. P.S. this is for Mcky D's in general... They need to stop raising their prices 25 cents every 6 months.

I've got to say McDonald's has always been an easy go to but I tend to avoid them as much as possible now due to bad staff experiences and issues with easy orders. The last McDonald's I went to the who I assume to be manager snapped at me for dumping the bottom of my prior beverage out my door. Basically stated I'm the reason they have a bee problem. Yes I control the migration patterns of bees but I digress. The only thing useful from McDonald's is the dollar menu, their meals are overpriced.

Normally I have no issues with this McDonald's but tonight I went in ordered a Big Mac and 3 drinks plus a McGriddles but there was a funky taste to my Big Mac. I wasted money on a burger I can't even eat. I'm not sure what was wrong with it but it made me feel physically sick so I ended up throwing it out.

They always mess up our order Everytime. And last time it took 20 minutes to fix the order. But it's reasonably priced. And they have the best chicken nuggets ever

Same old fast food.. low quality overpriced food that my own daughter has to have her weekly fill of... ( chicken nuggets and fries) ... I actually had a vanilla milk shake this time as i occasionally do.... I must say... too sweet, tasted like vanilla syrup .. no ice cream at all... but we will be back prob later in week to visit again

The new restaurant is nice besides the touch screens that you have to put your order into... National testing has been done on them all over the US and they tend to carry alot of germs including human waste! There is cashiers for a reason make them do there jobs!

This McDonald's has problems. It may be staffing, or more likely keeping labor cost down. But in my last 3 trips, I have never not waited or been asked to pull aside and wait. Last night at 3am during a small rush, I waited over 12 min. This seems petty, but when they set the bar at 2min, that's beyond poor. The staff are always pleasant though and by the book in their tone and choice of words.

Went in for a coffee and luckily I opened it before getting back to my vehicle because I ordered an Americano and it looked all diluted. They had to do the order another time. But the cashier didn't argue and the second one was as expected.

Sat at drive threw window for 10 minutes before decided to go park and send my fiance in to order to which he had to do order at the kiosk no one bothered to go take his order after another 10 minutes waiting there and took another 25 30 minutes after putting the order in so tool almost an hour just to get 2 kids meals, 2 $2 chicken sandwiches, 2 fries and 1 drink. While I was waiting in the car for him to come out I watched at least 5 people drive off

The food isn't the best quality, but the service was fast and efficient. But it's a shame that we live in a crazy time when feeding my family at McDonald's cost as much if not a little more than the Texas Roadhouse across the street.

The food's still good, don't get me wrong, McDonald's quality remains quite strong! But wallets are crying from coast to coast, For value pricing we miss the most! I ordered the 2 cheesburger meal and I had paid more for EXRTA onions and pickles, there is some of each on one and got 1 slice of pickle on the other, no onions. I had also asked the lady at the first window for Sweet N' Sour and also the hot mustard (at which she repeated back to make sure). When I finally got to my destination (at the hospital waiting) to find 3 hot mustards and no sweet n' sour. I mean I know i forgot to order it but did you really have throw not only 2 sauces but 3 OF THE SAME DAMN THING.

This McDonald's is the absolute worst I've ever visited. On at least THREE separate occasions the employees have been verbally abusive to customers both in the drive-thru and inside the restaurant. It is a common understanding in Plattsburgh that you will be insulted, made fun of, or down right heckled if you eat at McDonald's after 8:00 pm.

Every time I go through the drive through, they mess up my order! Why can't they hire competent workers? Service was also very slow. Two cars that pulled in after me in the other lane were waited on before me.

I give it a 2 because rguer new remodel is horrible. Looks like less seating in a colder environment. Before it was homey , welcoming .. Now it's like come on and hurry get out. Didn't get my nuggets I ordered and no ketchup in the bag for 3 orders of fries!!! Of course I realized all this after driving to destination. The happy meal nuggets were gross, all shriveled like they were old. Fish sandwhich was ok. Put ketchup in the bags for the fries!!!!! Argh!

One of the burgers had too much black pepper. Instead to replace it, became a drawn out conversation of excuses their machines always using the same portions. Clean, and fast service, lost stars for inconsistent quality control, poor after sales service, and less than friendly service.

The reason why I rated this McDonald's at 2 is because it's the second time I get an attitude from one of the girls at the window from the drive-thru and not to mention I was skip by two cars before they actually took my order. Then when I finally got my order I checked in my bag to see if I had all my content in there and the sauce that I ordered with wasn't in the bag and when I asked for it the girl at the window gave me an attitude about it like if I was bothering her or something.

This McDonald's is pretty decent. It can be slow and the drive-thru is a mess, but compared to the Taco Bell next to it, it's instant service. The Burger King down the road is the fastest. I like the staff here. Would be 5 stars but they insist on showing FOX News on their TV. Why people would want to watch such an intentionally upsetting channel while attempting to enjoy a meal is beyond me.

Failed to inform me before processing my takeout meal that my order for hot mocha not available with cost $3.99 and offer substitute for coffee which cost less. I was offended. I then requested refund for hot mocha. Peru McDonald's is the best service in the North Country.

The drive thru with a basic order took 20 minutes and two trips into the physical restaurant. The staff seemed to have a lot of trouble with communication.

Food is usually cold/old or wrong. This has happened way more than what's acceptable. I've placed a few corporate calls and hopefully that helps. I'd also love to see the staff/employees smile more, be more inviting and most importantly be more helpful while paying attention to orders. The new building however is every nice.

I placed a mobile order for curbside. We waited at least 20 minutes with nothing. My friend went in and asked kindly where the food was and the lady said they were just really busy…. Alright. I get that, as I work in food service. My friend said while she was in there that there were workers standing around talking so unsure how busy they actually were. Just wish they were a bit nicer and cared for their customers.

Every time I come here I always get asked to park and wait for my food. (Which I'm not upset about, since I've worked in fast food before, and know that you get timed on drive thru orders) However, I'm always given fries that are ice cold. Maybe they're putting the fries in the bag, and then putting the bag in a cool place while they wait for the rest of the food to be done? If you have to park customers and have them wait while other customers in the drive thru are helped they should at least be given fresh food. Edit: tried going here again, today (10/7) and this same exact thing happened again. Parked at the drive thru, and given *very* cold fries. I guess if you go here you should check your food before pulling out of the drive thru to make sure its warm.

Messed up my order completely and would not replace it with the correct order. Would not refund me the full price. I called ahead and asked if I could come back to correct the order and they said yes and would not let me when I came back. I will not return to mcdonalds.

The Cornelia Street location is by far the worst McDonalds Location I've ever eaten at. The food is never fresh. The nuggets are so old and stale they're flat when you get them. The fries are never fresh. The food is disgusting. And it's a reoccurring thing with this place... Do yourself a favor if you're up this end, and just eat Burger King. 🙄

This place needs a revamp staff even the night manager have a horrible attitude and for whatever reason they are always messing up orders then give u a attitude about it when you call to complain!! There are a few that have a wonderful customer friendly attitude but you usually have to catch them during the day 😉

Went drive throw the other night got cold burger and cold fryes, tonight i got chicken sandwich the roll was hard. Not going back. The manager new about the other night becouse i told girl at regester to make sure she new. I go to the other one on Margeret St ive never had any problems if i do they do something about it.

Order was screwed up, ordered ketchup and got none. Ordered sweet and sour sauce with 2 orders of nuggets and got only 1 and I even ordered an extra and didn't get that one either. I'll skip this McDonald's for a while.

I am re-reviewing the McDonald's on Cornelia Street in Plattsburgh because I got food poisoning there nearly a year ago. It took nearly 10 months to figure out that it's an intestinal infection caused by tainted food. I'm told it could take up to 2 years for this illness to pass and there is no cure. I ate there on August 28th and 29th of 2023 and was very sick and out of work for over 2 months. My advice would be to go to a different restaurant.

Nice cashier. However food not what I ordered. They were clueless about club soda. Even charged...not policy. Filled with creepy local men groups staring at customers rudely. In filthy unacceptable loud conversation.

At 10:38am I placed an order at 10:58 after watching the assistant manager keep bring food to people who ordered after me I ask where my order is they didn't know. I asked for a refund and said I bet I dont have to wait 20 minutes at Burger King. At 11:02 I placed the order at Burger King I had the food at 11:03. Very incompetent service through the drive-thru. The girl at the window was more concerned with how she looked and chatting than taking orders or getting them right. First she wanted to charge me for the wrong order, then handed me the wrong order and when she did give me what I "ordered" she gave me regular coke instead of diet coke. We go to McDonald's on Cornelia street weekly. Everytime we go we are asked to pull forward to wait. The last 3 times the wait is over 15 minutes. Then last week I went in to see what was taking so long, they were not even working on our order. Ok I get it, their busy. This time they gave us the wrong order. We gave the girl our receipt so she would know what we ordered. She came out and said " here's everything on your receipt." Guess what, she forgot our mc chicken. It's getting worse Everytime we go. I am highly disappointed. I used to love McDonald's.

My girlfriend and I spent $70 on food at this McDonald’s location to not receive our McFlurry and when we called she was really rude when she picked up the phone. Then we told her what happened and she left us on the phone for 15-20 minutes, we then finally decided to just hand up.

Have to tell you although I understand the choice to close early on Christmas Eve what I can't fathom is why the don't turn off some lights or make the display board in the drive thrus say "CLOSED". My roommate worked at this location as a fill-in for one day, and brought home covid. It’s been about 3 months since and we went to eat there last night and waited 40 minutes in the drive thru line, we ordered chicken big macs, which made us very sick. the only thing that was good was the fries that we asked to be cook to order but they were a large and not very full at all. I would not eat here again as it seems to be very unsanitary and food is not cooked properly and/or left out too long.

I use to eat here until I witnessed the two female managers yelling at minors in training in front of customers, instead of training them and helping them learn they just throw them on a register and expect that they know everything right off. Told the teenager that he was doing good and not to pay attention to those two managers. Oh and also the maintenance guy Keegan defayette likes to change the trash without gloves on. And who knows if he’s handling your food after -100/0 would not recommend 🤢

I've worked with the public and am extremely nice to the staff because I know how tough it can be. Every time I have gone here the staff are rude and passive aggressive. They act like you're bothering them just by being there. They don't say you're welcome, don't say have a good day, and they slam the window in your face after practically throwing your food at you. We went in around 6:30 pm, it took 25 minutes between when we ordered and when we received our food. 10 nuggets and 3 small burgers. There were about 3 other clients waiting inside at that time. The place was dirty. I am not going back to this McDonald's.

Have no family in town for Christmas so I thought I’d just swing by McDonald’s for some food. All the lights were on inside but all the doors were locked and no one answered the drive thru. They didn’t change their hours for the day and they had a line because no one shut off the lights. A woman was walking through the drive thru letting everyone know they aren’t answering. You should definitely change your hours or at least say that Christmas may affect the hours. It’s ridiculous that Dunkin was open later than a 24/7 McDonald’s! Learn to turn your lights off if you’re closing early! Kinda ridiculous to hire so many people if no one’s going to work.

By far the most horrible service. I have been to may Macdonalds in my lifetime but this is by far the worst. Dine in? Curbside? Drive thru? All horrible. You wait ENDLESSLY for your order. And it still come incomplete. Sauce? Ketchup? Straw? Napkin? If you’re in the drive up or curbside you have to ask for these items because the common sense to provide thee things or read the order is just non existent. And when I say slow they are SLOOOOOWWWWWW. No management leadership clearly. Horrible.

I went through the drive thru today... they forgot one of my sandwiches. I went in to ask about it... it wasn't busy but the two girls tapping bags for delivery said it was busy.. and to use the ordering machine behind me. I didn't want to order i wanted my order.. I ended up leaving without it because the two girls kept talking and tapping and didn't care I was still standing there waiting for help. for the price I pay for sandwiches this will be the last time eating McDonald's.

extremely long wait, They took forever on the food. When I got to the window, I was expecting the new shake but someone said the ice cream machine is down right now. Now that’s just blatantly lying to my face, just so you don’t have to clean the machine. McDonald’s released a new shake and the employee couldn’t even care about making it. Overnight crew defintely needs a lot of more training. I ordered my food on mobile app so I couldn’t even refund. They said I could have a “Frappe” instead for the shake I couldn’t get. Yeah bro let me have coffee at night, that’s makes so much sense 🙂👍. Fries were unsalted. Stop being lazy and clean the machines.

This location has such poor customer service, we arrived around 12:30 am, with a group of employees, got our food at 12:57am and the manager started kicking us out in a very rude way 3 minutes after handing out our food. I totally understand that the seating are closes at 1, but I’ve never seen a manager kicking out the customers the way this lady did. We told her we only needed 5 minutes to finish and cleanup and her answer was that she doesn’t care and that they were going to call the police. As a Food Service Manager for over 15 years, I feel that some peers in this industry should educate themselves in how to better operate the business as CS plays a huge part in it.

Stopped in after work to get something fast to eat and the place was nasty floor needed to be clean tables looked like that have been wiped down in a while food was ok could be better service sucked she was rude and nasty and bathroom needed to be clean
