Unas tapas muy buenas con mucha variedad pedimos el pollo teriyaki buenísimo una croqueta de gambas que tenía un sabor espectacular y gambas rebozadas hay buen ambiente y el personal es educado

Found this little spot by accident whilst walking around - immediately was drawn in by the upbeat Spanish music at an atmospheric but reasonable volume to allow for conversation! The napkins say possibly the best tapas in Benidorm - I'm not sure how you could top this authentic Spanish tapas bar - miles better than the basic bars on the front selling egg and chips for the masses.

Absolutely amazing tasting food at prices that seem like a typo. You have to come here, loads of tapas bars in this area but this is the pinnacle, loads of options, menus and suggestions means you have to go back and try more.

There’s a wide range of tapas available in the glass cabinets. All we had were lovely especially the pork belly and the house red wine was good too. We’ll definitely be back next time we’re in the old town

This is a very popular Spanish tapas place and it’s very busy every day. If you find a seat just grab the menu and order at the bar and they will serve you the food fairly quickly. Prices are affordable and portion sizes are decent but the most important thing is it taste great. Especially the seafood here like octopus Galicia style, grilled squid and tuna tartare was great. You can order also wine by the glass and it starts from only 2.10€ . If you can’t read Spanish they also have the menu in English. To sum it up great food great atmosphere great place!

If you are looking for a varied, mouthwatering range of tapas to enjoy, located in the Benidorm Old Town, with a fantastic atmosphere of people having a good time, then visit La Cava Aragonesa. The service is quick. The staff friendly. Will be revisiting next time I am in Benidorm.

This is my favorite place to eat tapas. I come back here every time. There's a cool chaotic atmosphere that I really appreciate. You order tapas and drinks at the bar and then you sit wherever you find a spot. The tapas are very flavorful, and there's also a menu for à la carte dining.

If you ever wondered what authentic Spanish tapas are, you need to go here. The variety of tapas is great, including some very topical Spanish ones. The service is good as long as you don't expect much table service (you have to go up and choose your tapas anyway). Usually I would recommend a dish or mention ones to stay away from, but every single dish was excellent! It's always very full so go early if you want to get a table. If you're just a couple or so then I recommend sitting at the bar.

Well worth a visit if you are in the Old Town of Benidorm. Tucked away in Tapas Alley this little gem is a great find. Service is with a smile and the staff are welcoming and friendly. We had tapas and the local red wine and thoroughly enjoyed. Returning again before we leave to go home.

Siempre que vamos a Benidorm, pasamos por la pl. de la Constitución, un lugar lleno de restaurantes, famosos por su gran variedad de tapas y pinchos, nos damos un buen paseo y después a disfrutar de un buen vermut.

Un sitio muy típico de Benidorm. Siempre venimos por lo menos una vez cada verano. Tienen tapas muy variadas aunque suele estar muy lleno, mejor ir entre semana en los meses de verano

Espectacular bar de pinchos en Benidorm!! Si quieres tapear en un ambiente como en los típicos bares de pinchos del país vasco, este es tú sitio en el Levante. Totalmente recomendado para probar todo tipo de pinchos.

Fuimos a cenar 4 personas un día de diario y de carta, teníamos reserva. Tardaron poco entre platos y la calidad y sabor estaban bastante por encima de la media. No obstante, las raciones eran más bien escasas, sobre todo la sepia y las gambas. Tienen pan y opciones sin gluten.

Es un sitio con mucha variedad de pinchos, Tienes también raciones, yencas, ensaladas, carnes etc .. es difícil coger sitio en horas puntas, la calidad es regular .. y el precio un poco alto para lo que es.

Bustling tapas bar with plenty of items to select from. We got the tapas of the day, a croquette & a Spanish omelette tapas. A cana (small beer) and a tinto de verano (similar to a sangria). Came to around 14 euros. The atmosphere and food was good (if you're happy with the busy/chaotic vibe!). Service was somewhat lacking - particularly at the bar, they can be quite unfriendly. There was a pleasant-ish man serving the tables though, which was appreciated. We've visited a couple of times over the years & if you can handle the Spanish-style environment then it's one to visit! Tip: Get a seat if you can, go to the bar, order drinks and food. They give you the cold tapas to take to your table straight away and the hot food will be brought over when it's ready. There's tables both inside and outside, and there's also a few tables belonging to the same place across the main bar within Tapas Alley.

Great value food and drink, quick and friendly service. It’s not the best tapas in Spain, but certainly one of the better ones in Benidorm and a recommended spot to enjoy a few drinks and try different dishes.

Precios adecuados, los camareros muy despistados, alguno se le notaba demasiado que no tenía demasiadas ganas de servir, sobre todo la terraza. Tomamos una tapa de bacalao, croquetas y patatas bravas y salvo estás últimas, que estaban bastante justas, la calidad buena.

Wanted to try this place on our trip in March looks amazing great vibe such a shame let down by the bar staff not all but the ones that served us couldn’t be bothered and were very rude it’s like they really didn’t care and I did order in Spanish , which is a shame as we sat out side and the vibe was amazing , inside the bar it’s amazing great tapas , we then decided to order some gambas al ajillo Which is our favourite we waited 50 min , we had to ask the server outside who was lovely and friendly not like the bar staff , she went over and told someone as we watched we had been forgotten we received our gambas very disappointed a few prawns no Garlic and so many chilles , we finished and left very disappointed , on a positive note we got a free tapa with our first drink which was good , I think the bar staff need to smile more and be a lot more polite to the customers we will give it another go in June for my birthday as the place is stunning let’s hope we get happy bar staff this time to make the visit friendly and happy …

Honestly I was expecting better tapas. They were way too big for "finger food" and same of them tasteless (like the 3fried balls in a stick with cheese and shrimps where the shrimps were invisible). I didn't like them so much and I find it expensive as a tapas restaurant. If you are starving and you just finished a big walk you are gonna find it refreshing anyway! Just few tables to seat.

Came here with my mum in February as we were exploring old town and was keen to have some tapas. Unfortunately the staff were just awfully rude, took a very long time to be served despite them seeing I was clearly at the counter waiting to order- I did attempt to order in Spanish but immediately got shut down. The food wasn’t brilliant either, I’ve certainly had better. There was some other lovely places along that street where staff were smiley and keen to get you inside.

Se puede resumir en: donde no ir para salir de pintxos en Benidorm. Desde que entramos fue un "todo mal" parecíamos invisibles a este lado de la barra por parte del personal un camarero que nos miro varias veces pero nos ignoro y otro que estaba mas de colegueo con una clienta que a lo que tenia que estar que era atender al resto que allí estábamos. La vitrina de pintxos luce mas por la cantidad que por la calidad ... sinceramente, veníamos de probar pintxos en mas sitios y los de este local eran de tercera ... El ambiente tampoco invita a quedarte por que la música que tenían estaba a un volumen excesivo Sinceramente es un sitio al que ni ir ni repetir en nuestro caso.

Hoy hemos ido a tomar el vermut, todo bien hasta que hemos pendido una tapa de tortilla española que sabía a vinagre y a la que le salía un líquido sospecho. Me he acercado a una camarera morena para comentarle que estaba en mal estado y se ha enfadado contestando que no iba a cambiarla que habías comido más de la mitad. No era lo que queríamos, simplemente era comunicarlo para que lo tuvieran en cuenta. Tened cuidado y en caso de que nos siente mal tendrán noticias.

Disgusted with your staff at this establishment. I've been coming here for years since the year 1994, and worked locally when I was solo in the town, so know all about " the way" in Spain. So for example, It's customs, etiquette in restaurants, how to serve, politeness and manners. I'm also pretty fluent in Spanish which made the behaviour of the staff in your tapas place just rude towards us. We walked to your bar in the heavy rain on Christmas day, because we've been coming here as a couple for nearly 18 years. We always do the same. It's a traditional Christmas dinner for us. We have a bottle of Cava, some tapas. Then perhaps another bottle and some more tapas. We relax, we enjoy the day, we feel comfortable in La Cava Aragonesa, but not last Thursday we didn't. We ordered a bottle, of Ordal rose, which your server asked us to pay for shortly afterwards. We didnt mind, because he said he was leaving, so we just presumed he wanted us to close our tab for whatever reason. We were okay with that. Then we ordered some tapas, and chatted and relaxed. The next thing we knew, your female server came up to us, thrust our bill at us, and said, " is this yours?" I obviously checked the bill and confirmed it was, but then explained to her that I had not asked for the bill, and that we had not finished and we were going to order more food and drinks. She quite blatantly said she didn't understand (????), at which point I explained again, we had not asked for our bill but she said we had to pay. She then just walked off!!! I was so disappointed, and quite frankly not happy at all, especially when we've made the effort all these years to visit, and told everyone we meet in Benidorm how fab the place is. Please check your security footage@ 14.58 pm on 25/12 where we were seated along the bar front on the inside wall, and also 15.46pm on 25/12 where we paid for what we had drunk and eaten, and wouldn't dream of leaving and not paying, but that's exactly how you made us feel. What happened to politeness and manners. What happened to the delight of " Sobremesa"? What happened to being able to relax? To be honest, last year we noticed a couple of your staff and their manners left a lot to be desired but it was extremely busy, so they were maybe rushed and stressed and we let it go. I honestly feel your standard has definitely slipped with the staff you recruit, hence me being honest and leaving this review. So we will vote with our feet and go elsewhere next time.
