Abbiamo cenato per tre. Il servizio è stato piacevole e caloroso, grazie a Victoria. La polenta era deliziosa e volevamo una seconda porzione di dessert! Victoria ci ha aiutato a scegliere i liquori migliori da abbinare ai nostri dessert. Ci siamo divertiti molto, ascoltando musica piacevole. Sarò felice di tornare qui❤️

Abbiamo scoperto lalimentare e ci torneremo senza ombra di dubbio. Gia dall accoglienza il personale e cordiale e solare. I piatti sono cucinati in modo tradizionale, gustoso e raffinato. Personalmente sono tornata bambina assapporanto i cibi. Tradizione di un tempo passato con la cura e accortezze del tempo moderno. Materie prime di qualita'. Staff giovane e affiatato. Frizzante. Bella energia. Aggingo inoltre una vasta scelta dei vini di ottimo livello. Qualita' e prezzo corretto.

Che bello e che buono. Io e mio marito siamo stati qui col nostro bimbo e siamo andati via felicissimi. Già dall’accoglienza si percepisce che sono organizzati ed esperti. Le sale sono belle e con le luci giuste, il servizio attento e ben fatto come non se ne vede più: hanno fatto attenzione a dare un bel bicchiere di resina al nostro bimbo, mentre noi avevamo dei bellissimi Zafferano; hanno sempre portato via le cose in più e notato quello che andava visto. Il cibo poi era così buono che mio figlio non smetteva di mangiare 😂 che bella esperienza! Il prezzo è stato la ciliegina sulla torta: super onesto. Sembra il classico posto in cui vanno i clienti fissi perché sanno come farti sentire coccolato ma senza mai essere eccessivi. Belli, bravi e buoni ♥️

Abbiamo cenato con un tagliere all italiana ed era ottimo. Ma il punto forte di questo ristorante sono i casoncelli i più buoni che abbia mai mangiato. La ragazza che ci ha servito è stata carinissima . Posto molto consigliato

Tiramisu was perfect. It was the best Tiramisu you can find. The waitress was very friendly and professional. Very good! Tea and coffee are also very good. I will definitely come back!

Great experience at Lalimentari! We ordered the Polenta Taragna and Tiramisu, and everything was excellent. The polenta was rich, flavorful, and perfectly cooked — truly authentic and comforting. The tiramisu was fresh, well-balanced, and delicious. The atmosphere is lovely, especially given the location in the heart of Città Alta. Cozy, lively, and very Italian. Service was friendly and attentive, making the whole experience even better. Definitely a place worth visiting if you’re in Bergamo. We really enjoyed our time here and would gladly come back!

I stayed in the city for three days and came back here every single day because the food was delicious, the atmosphere was beautiful, and the prices were very reasonable. We came by accident to hide quickly from the rain, a bit scared it will be a tourist trap, but we were nicely impressed - food was really good and portions were fullfilling, everything was aesthetically served. Polenta was soft and tasty, perfectly combined with cheese and ragù. Ravioli excellent, burro con salvia was full of taste. Service was kind, a bit disorganised, probably cause of amount of guests. Beautiful location, amazing local meals, I highly recommend! 🍝

I had dinner at Lalimentari in Bergamo and honestly, it blew me away. Everything I tried was spot-on and full of flavor. I started with the local cold cuts and cheese platter — all from Bergamo and the surrounding region. The meats were rich and well-cured, the cheeses were perfectly aged and balanced, and the crunchy crackers added that perfect texture contrast. You could really taste the quality and the care that went into choosing every single product. Then I had the ravioli-style pasta from Bergamo, covered in a pool of melted butter and sprinkled with Parmigiano. Simple? Yes. Boring? Absolutely not. It was rich, comforting, and packed with flavor — every bite felt like classic Italian comfort food done right. The staff, very nice and super polite! Big up The setting was relaxed and local, and everything tasted authentic without trying too hard. This is one of those places you hope to stumble upon when traveling — and I’m glad I did. Five stars, no question.

I recently dined at Lalimentari and had a fantastic experience. The standout dish was the pasta with porcini mushrooms—rich, earthy, and perfectly cooked. I also had the aged dry ham, which was delicately sliced and full of robust flavor. It had just the right amount of saltiness and a melt-in-the-mouth texture that showed its quality. To complement the meal, I ordered a glass of wine recommended by the staff. It paired beautifully with both the pasta and the ham, enhancing the overall experience. The staff were friendly and knowledgeable, and the ambiance of the restaurant was warm and inviting, with a rustic yet refined charm. Overall, Lalimentari delivered an authentic and satisfying Italian dining experience. I would definitely return and recommend it to anyone looking for quality food and a cozy atmosphere.

There was no waiting for a table even though the restaurant is always full, the service is excellent, the waiters are very helpful, the prices are high for the amount you get. If you sit outside the restaurant, the atmosphere is great because the restaurant is located on the square itself, while the inside of the restaurant exudes history and creates an additional atmosphere and ambiance while tasting the dishes of that region.

The atmosphere of the restaurant was amazing, we were seated in the back where there is a huge wall of wine and a bar. The service was also amazing, out of all the cocktails I was unable to choose one because of how many options there were, and therefore I told the server what type of cocktails I prefer, and it was made based on my preference! Our server was Viktoria, such a lovely woman that explained to us the whole menu and was overall pleasant, sharing with us her experience working and living in Italy. We ordered the famous polenta. We ordered Polenta fungi porcini, polenta taragna and polenta concia, we also have tried the famous Bergamo Casoncelli with cheese and with meat. The overall experience was amazing, and the food was something special, I have never tried anything like it! I really encourage everyone to try this restaurant! The restaurant also has a wide range of cheese and lard options which you can try out while dining and buy to get some home if you wish! We went there twice and the food didn’t disappoint at all

Four of us ordered the typical Bergamo style dishes and all of them are nice! I love the pasta made from grain in ancient style with fungi! Don’t forget the local wine to pair with food. Coffee after the meal is also nice. The restaurant isn’t far from the funicular station, and the magnificent church of Santa Maria Maggiore. We appreciate the meal a lot and the attention we’ve received, plus the artistic menu available in two languages.

Great food at a decent price and located in the main square of the old town. There's a cool wall of wine in the back dining room but be aware when the courteous staff only recommend the expensive wines, just be direct about the price point you're going for. The dedicated coffee menu is also a nice touch for after your meal!

Abbiamo pranzato in questo ristorante sulla piazza Vecchia. Incantevole! Personale molto cortese e professionale. Ottimi consigli anche sui vini! Casoncelli di alto livello, tagliatelle ai porcini saporite e ben abbinate al vino che abbiamo preso. Stracotto con polenta taragna era una bontà! Per quanto riguarda i dolci consigliamo anzi, stra consigliamo i cannoncini! SUPERLATIVI. Pasta sfoglia fatta a regola d’arte e riempiti al momento. Torneremo!

Its a very nice location in Piazza Vecchia where you can take breakfast, i had one Caffe Aromatizzato Alla Nocciola which was so small.. not so tasty. The gem croissant was ok. Its nice that you can stay out and enjoy sun, view.

"The Hurricanes " cocktail. Served with free crisps, olives and salted peanuts. A lovely place to enjoy a drink in the main piazza. The sister venue to my earlier drink at bar Flora.

Ho pranzato con amici nella giornata del 25 Aprile. Tra le tante offerte di ristorazione abbiamo scelto di fermarci in questo, che dà sulla piazza vecchia della Bergamo alta. Il locale era pieno di gente ma l’attesa per sedersi non è stata lunga. Il cibo nel complesso buono. Abbiamo ordinato Casoncelli, brasata o con polenta e coniglio. Come antipasto tagliere di salumi e di formaggi. Rapporto qualità prezzo migliorabile. Tempi di attesa piuttosto distesi.

Menù con poca scelta, il coniglio che dopo cotto viene fritto nell'olio non è buono, sarà anche la ricetta della nonna ma il coniglio è una carne bianca, morbida...così ha un sapore di riscaldato e si secca diventando dura. La polenta taragna è invece top. Problema anche sul dessert, i cannoli caldi con il caffè sono arrivati freddi e dopo 10' dall'arrivo del caffè. Sono stati tolti dal conto.

I went to this restaurant with my girlfriend and two other couples. My friends quite like the food but our dishes weren't of the quaility I'd expected. The Bergamo-styled rabbit was dry and had too many bones for my taste. Pasta was good but I'd tried better ones. Having a chance to be at the main square at the centre of the old town was really pleasant as we listened to local musicians. At the end of the night we had to wait for 30 minutes until we finally got the bill and paid as waiters were quite slow.

Oggi 01/03/26 ho preso come aperitivo un cocktail (Mango Mule analcolico) e mi è stato portato un bicchiere con del ghiaccio e limone e una bottiglietta di ginger beer. Ho fatto notare la cosa al cameriere che dopo qualche minuto mi ha riportato lo stesso bicchiere dicendo in modo molto seccato e maleducato che “loro lo fanno così”. Sono rimasta sconcertata. Ragazzi ho lavorato una vita nei locali e mai mi sarei permessa di rispondere male a un cliente che per di più ha ragione, visto che non si trattava di una sottigliezza o di un capriccio, ma di un aspetto fondamentale del prodotto (su due ingredienti ne mancava uno). Errore del barman che se ammesso sarebbe stato facilmente rimediabile. Avete perso credibilità e una cliente fissa.

Volevamo semplicemente bere qualcosa e abbiamo chiesto a un cameriere una cioccolata calda o un cacao per nostra figlia. Fin dall’inizio il cameriere è apparso scortese e poco simpatico e ci ha detto che c’era solo il “Noccinello”. Pensando si trattasse di una bevanda simile alla cioccolata, lo abbiamo ordinato. Ci è stato servito invece un bicchierino da espresso con acqua tiepida e polvere sciolta. Il sapore era pessimo e la bevanda era completamente imbevibile. Questo “drink” era assolutamente inadatto a un bambino. Quando abbiamo fatto presente al cameriere, con calma, che si trattava di un malinteso e che intendevamo una cioccolata calda con latte servita in una tazza, questa ci è stata poi portata. Al momento del conto, mio marito ha detto di non essere d’accordo nel pagare la prima bevanda a causa del malinteso, ma che avrebbe comunque saldato tutto. A quel punto è arrivato un altro cameriere che ha iniziato improvvisamente a parlare ad alta voce, in modo aggressivo e irrispettoso. Nonostante le ripetute richieste di lasciarci semplicemente pagare e andare via, la situazione è degenerata ulteriormente. Eravamo seduti al tavolo con due bambini. Il cameriere è diventato sempre più rumoroso, ci ha umiliati davanti agli altri clienti e ci ha trattati con arroganza. Per me è stato particolarmente doloroso essere completamente ignorata: nessuno sguardo, nessuna parola. Si è rivolto esclusivamente a mio marito. Questo comportamento l’ho percepito come profondamente irrispettoso e misogino. Viaggiamo molto, ma una simile umiliazione per pochi euro non ci era mai capitata. Un cameriere il cui ego sembrava essere più importante del rispetto, dell’ospitalità e di un comportamento adeguato verso una famiglia.

The quality was not that good, the brioche was not fresh it was tasting like fridge, I ordered marocchino, it was bitter with only chocolate powder which I didn’t like! I don’t like the service and two staff were so rude, like when we told them we need to decide he just left our table disrespectfully, then they came to our table and asked us to pay twice even though we told them we prefer to pay later! Like before even we finish our coffee they forced us pay on the table! The waiter took orders with no respect, I didn’t feel welcomed there! But the place is beautiful and warm!

Highly do NOT recommend this restaurant. Service is not polite, charged 6 euros for water, which should be out of charge. Forgot about ordered desert. I ordered ravioli and this actually I ordered ravioli - it was something shapeless floating in fat. It's not ravioli but cholesterol with parmesan. Too disgusting food for bill in 57 euros
