This is such a cute cafe, perfect for a nice breakfast/brunch/lunch!! Both the indoor and outdoor seating options are really cute, with umbrellas outdoors that make the outdoor seating incredibly pleasant! We didn’t mind waiting for our food, as it was crowded, because it’s such a nice atmosphere. The food was very light, but filling, and was a very refreshing meal! Also the iced tea was really good. I got the breakfast sandwich with the works and it was very fresh and tasty! Would highly recommend

Cafe Réveille is a stylish and welcoming cafe that fits perfectly into the San Francisco coffee scene. The moment you walk in, the atmosphere feels relaxed yet lively. The space has a modern design with plenty of natural light. It’s a great place to start the morning or take a midday break. The smell of fresh coffee hits you right away. The coffee here is consistently good and well balanced. Their lattes are smooth, creamy, and not overly sweet. Espresso drinks are made with care and skill. The baristas clearly know what they’re doing. Service is friendly and usually efficient. Even during busy times, staff remain polite and calm. The menu offers a nice mix of classic and creative options. Breakfast items are fresh and flavorful. The avocado toast is a standout choice. The açaí bowl is refreshing and well portioned. Ingredients taste fresh and high quality. There are good vegetarian and vegan options available. The food feels healthy without being boring. Portion sizes are satisfying for brunch or lunch. Prices are on the higher side but typical for the area. You’re paying for quality, location, and experience. The cafe can get crowded, especially on weekends. Finding seating during peak hours can be a challenge. Outdoor seating is a great option when available. The patio adds to the overall charm of the place. It’s a popular spot for locals and visitors alike. Many people come here to work or study. The vibe is perfect for casual meetings or solo time. Music is kept at a comfortable volume. The environment feels social but not overwhelming. Pastries pair well with the coffee selections. Croissants are flaky and satisfying. The menu has something for almost everyone. Orders are usually accurate and well presented. Drinks come out looking as good as they taste. The cafe feels clean and well maintained. Staff interactions feel genuine and welcoming. You never feel rushed while sitting inside. It’s easy to spend more time here than planned. The location is convenient and easy to access. It’s a great stop while exploring the neighborhood. Morning visits are calm and enjoyable. Afternoons tend to be busier but energetic. Weekend brunch has a lively atmosphere. The cafe attracts a creative and youthful crowd. It feels like a neighborhood staple. Coffee quality remains consistent over time. Seasonal items add variety to the menu. The cafe is visually appealing and photogenic. It’s a place you’d recommend to friends. Great for casual hangouts or relaxed dates. The overall experience feels thoughtfully curated. Even first-time visitors feel comfortable. The staff handle high traffic fairly well. Wait times are reasonable most days. The drinks are worth waiting for. The food pairs perfectly with the coffee offerings. It’s easy to see why the cafe is popular. The energy inside is warm and inviting. You leave feeling satisfied and relaxed. It’s a place that encourages repeat visits. Each visit feels familiar yet enjoyable. The cafe balances quality and atmosphere nicely. Small details make a big difference here. The menu feels intentional and well planned. It’s not just a coffee stop, but an experience. The cafe fits well into daily routines. You can come alone or with friends. There’s a sense of community in the space. The coffee alone makes it worth visiting. Food quality matches the cafe’s reputation. It’s easy to spend money here without regret. Everything feels thoughtfully put together. The cafe reflects the personality of the city. It’s modern without feeling pretentious. Comfortable without feeling boring. Busy but still enjoyable. Reliable for both coffee and food. A great balance of taste and vibe. It stands out among nearby cafes. Cafe Réveille delivers a solid experience overall. It’s a place you’ll likely return to. Definitely worth checking out if you’re nearby.

Update: Service quality has bumped up. I come here for lunch 2-3x/week. Food and coffee is always really yummy at this and the other locations, but the service was feeling like it was mild energy, but recently has been gaining vibrancy and warmth again. I am in love with the fried plantain bowl, add grilled chicken. Obsessed.

We needed a coffee shop that served food where we can easily watch our car. This place checked all the boxes as the outdoor seating and some indoor seats overlooks the public parking lot. We came when there was a lull in the crowd but not quickly filled up with people. Coffee was great. I snacked on a side of bacon.

Love this spot for a quick lunch during my workday. They have really delicious healthy bowls, with veggies and vegan options. I have tried their crunchy bowl and their tahini squash bowl and both were yummy. My friend has gotten the acai bowl and it was a little over frozen, a small complaint because it came to temp relatively quickly. It's best to come here when the weather is nice, because they don't have a ton of indoor seating. It was raining when we came in today and we were lucky to snag the last table. On a dry day you can enjoy their outdoor tables.

Very nice cafe for breakfast. It is on a quiet street (occasional train nearby). The staff were very nice. The outdoor seating simple yet very pleasing. We had breakfast on a Sunday morning and we had avery nice morning. The coffee was excellent (quantity small by Starbucks standards). Eggs and potato wedges with fresh sliced avocado was fantastic. Highly recommended for weekend breakfast.

I’ve been going to 4th street for years and stumbled on this place after Googling “salad”. It wasn’t even the first result, but it’s everything. The food is healthy and yummy. You can add chicken to all the salads. The staff is kind. They serve up beautiful espresso drinks with organic milk on a Strada machine. Indoor marble tables and a patio with sun and shade. I don’t consider the lunch places in the area very good but this place is in a league of its own!

Once I discovered cafe réveille it changed my life! There is surprisingly a lack of cute brunch places in the bay, but this place is the perfect spot for quality food & adorable ambiance. My girlfriends & I love coming here in the morning or stopping by in the day for a matcha!

So, I've been making bimonthly trips down to Berkeley recently, and have discovered this amazing place for incredible food close to my workshop. I have been mostly amazed at the food quality and the healthiness and deliciousness of the food. My favorite has been their brunch item on the weekend with roasted potatoes, poached eggs, arugula salad and sage. It's really good!!! I also fell in love with their psychedelic salad! Their roasted chicken breast is also delicious. I don't drink coffee, so I can't comment about that. But seriously healthy delicious food!!!!! I eat it every day that I'm there!

First to arrive on a gray Sunday morning and got to marvel at the excellent setting with large open windows between the inside and outside. We sat outside near the healthy lovely succulents and ate really tasty food. The coffee cake was very delicious with subtle flavors and the breakfast burrito was very good , the shakshuka was okay. Very expensive

My friends raved about the breakfast burrito, so that’s what I got for a Sunday brunch. We had a group of 10 and there was one table that could fit us but we did need to borrow chairs to squeeze us in. Indoor and outdoor seating available. They call out your name for drinks once it’s ready, but they’ll bring your food to your table (they’ll give you a number). You order and pay first, then get seated. There’s free parking available. Credit cards only. The burrito is naturally vegetarian but you can pay extra to add meat. I had a matcha latte as well (extra charge for almond or oat milk) which was decent. The burrito is small but dense; I particularly enjoyed the green sauce that came in the side (this is what made the burrito stand out).

Had the chilaquiles. Hearty, and portion generous, with a full half of an avocado; but the sauce, surprisingly, was a bit bland. Coffee was not particularly good.

Average food with uncaring service in a beautiful space. Had high hopes given reviews and San Francisco location however left disappointed. Scrambled eggs and roasted levain bread were average. Merguez sausage patties had good flavors but nothing like merguez sausages at La Note. Cortado and cappuccino also average. The outdoor space is delightful, with several bistro tables and nice umbrellas for shade. Also fairly quiet given location is 1 block off busy 4th Street. This establishment could be so much more with a few adjustments that wouid benefit all clients. Not sure I will return given Betty’s Ocean Diner and M Cafe are 1-2 blocks away - if I do this review will be updated.

Healthy food choices but service was slow. We waited 40 minutes for our one bowl. Staff did not seem to care that it took that long. Recommend going if you have time and don’t need to grab lunch during the work week.
