One of my favorite coffee shops in the bay! Very very affordable, kind staff, and amazing coffee. I rotate between the americano and vanilla latte. Usually americanos I find to be sour and acidic, but theirs is round and flavorful.

Best coffee is the Bay Area. I travel from Oakland to get this coffee. The staff works hard to connect with community and customers. Always a very pleasant conversation and wonderful local art on display. I usually get Turkish Cortado, a red eye or short drip but everything including the teas are fantastic. A wonderful Cafe... on par with European caffes. No joke.

6 years vegan and this is the first time ive ever NOT been charged for an alternative milk. my heart and stomach were so full leaving here. super delicious coffee & donuts, but i thought the donuts were the better of the two :)

Really great vibes, I only gave a 4 star because there’s no wifi. Great spot for a good cup of coffee and a donut - catch up with a friend or a good book. Not ideal for computer work because there’s no wifi access

I was walking past Coffee Conscious when I decided to get a cup of coffee and it was one of the best cups of dark brew coffee I have had here in Berkeley. The price was super low $2.25 for a lrg cup and being a small neighborhood coffee shop you become a regular on your second visit and the staff remembers your name and what you drink. This is definitely my type of place.

Everyone who works there is a delight to talk to, but the star of the show is the coffee. It is the only place I’ve been to that has good decaf, like, really good decaf. They also have great tea and the most amazing donuts, which happen to be vegan. Win win win.

I went there twice in one day. They serve oat milk if you are looking for an alternative milk option. Delicious chai latte and the lavendar late is to die for. I love the texture of the vegan donuts. Sometimes they have live music. Just a very interesting place and friendly service.

This place is known to locals as the place to get you kids into going to grab coffee with the vegan doughnut shop. They roast their own beans and offer amazing blends if your into espresso. There live music Sunday mornings. It's an overall great stop if your in the east bay looking for a good cup of Joe!

Best Berkeley coffee! Try ghost pepper coffee! Due to great barista pride and skill, the line moves slowly. Seating on sidewalk. Sometimes a few seats indoors. Expensive doughnuts and similar. No bathroom.

The man behind the counter has such a fantastic attitude and personality- thank you. AND both the regular coffee and creative coffee drinks are great. I was surprised by how good the vegan donuts are too. At first I was disappointed that there weren’t other types of pastries to try, but these are really yummy!

Best made coffee I've had in my life, and I'm 68. My favorite, Red Eye with steamed almond milk and apple fritter.

I was visiting Berkley and tried a few local coffee shops. This one stand out to me. I ordered flat white and Vanilla clove latte. Everything is great and right. If you are down for a good coffee, I strongly suggest this place.

I love this place! The coffee Is perfection. There’s a lavender chai that is to die for. The cappuccinos terrific. The espresso is strong but not burnt tasting. I personally love my latte with cream, but they also have a few different vegan dairy options as well. Everyone there is so accommodating. I also enjoy the background music. Their playlist is always on point. Great little moody vibe. And the donuts are fresh from the donut farm -all vegan with so many different ones to choose from. The Westbrae neighborhood is a jem 🤎☕️

Best vegan donuts in the bay area! Beautiful concept of vegan donuts and coffee. Iced coffee with coffee ice cube is amazing with oatmilk. We basically wiped them almost clean of donuts so many options. Highly recommend this place. The gentleman who helped us was very lovely.

i *love* coffee conscious. the prices can get alittle steep, but every time i take a sip, i remember why i keep coming back. it's truly specialty coffee. the flavors are always balanced and you can't go wrong with anything.

If this place was closer to me, I would come here all the time!

Somewhat Spartan in seating and decor. A neighborhood vibe. Always good music. A small space. Food limited to (good and pricey) vegan donuts. The coffee is to me the best in town, and this is a town with a lot of good coffee. The coffee is a bargain for the quality and the people making it are very nice. The Coffee Conscious Blend is my favorite cup of regular coffee in the world and a large coffee is only 3.50. I drive out of my way to get coffee here sometimes.

Nice surprise to find the donut farm coffee shop! We got a mocha and two donuts (lemon and black berry). The mocha was good, not among the best I've tried, but definitely worth the price. The donut are from the donut farm so nice and fresh, but I always wish they'd be even fruitier than they are! The staff is nice and welcoming, good place overall.

This is a coffee branch of the Donut Farm store, so they sell Donut Farm vegan donuts, which I unfortunately recall as dry. It’s a cool, eclectic little shop with lots of loose leaf tea drinks, cold brew, and a full espresso bar. My latte, a nice baseline drink I like to try, was good, well proportioned, creamy, and well made. The roast was very earthy and had a distinctive taste, not my favorite blend, but interesting.

This place is a great place to get your morning pastries and drinks. All of their pastries are vegan, and they can make vegan drinks. Their flavors are unusual and surprising but in a good way. Coffee Conscious is my go-to spot for a delicious and filling breakfast.

So I wanted to try Donut Farm🍩. Turns out this is a coffee shop☕️ that gets these donuts delivered to their shop from Donut Farm. Regardless, I got to try Donut Farm, which was great. It’s way to expensive though. 6 donuts for $16?!?😱😡😱 That’s more than $2 for one donut!!! You’d think vegan would be cheaper. Also, all these donuts have the same bottoms. The only difference is the frosting on top. The green matcha one is really gross🤮. But the early Grey lavender one is so good🤤!!! I’d say three of them were good (lavender, coconut, salted caramel). The other 3 were ok (orange, Mexican hot chocolate, and matcha). What I love about the donuts is that they have a really good crunch and it is SO AMAZING. They seem More crumbly than normal donuts and less sweet tasting. I really like them overall. I’d give them a 3.7 stars if that was a choice.

I was looking for a place to get a snack and ended up here. This place has been here for years and I remember going another time at least 7 years ago. They have been serving the vegan Donut Farm donuts for years too - which are still great and probably the best thing about this place. Service was super indifferent. I thought the shirt designs were cool, but they were out of stock even though the display was still up. I ordered the vegan orange donut on a plate for here and was given it in some tissue instead. No mention that they don’t have plates available or anything, it was just handed over in the tissue. When I went to sit down, I noticed the service area is horrible if you are trying to hotspot from your phone. On top of it, there was a giant cobweb in the corner of the store right in front of me. It would take weeks of not cleaning to get a cobweb of that size. I won’t be coming back again.

They should call it Coffee Unconscious. They are completely unaware of the line building directly in front of the counter and are unbelievably slow. If you’ve ever had the experience of ordering a cappuccino in any café in Italy, your head will explode when you go to this place. The coffee is good but not worth the wait.

Looking at the reviews I thought I will love this place but was meh! My kid had a cake donut and I had a chocolate yeasted one which was quite chewy and not pleasant in texture. I had a flat white which was soooo dark and intense , almost burnt flavor to it unlike any other places I had it at. Not to mention ruin the corner near the sugar is so dusty and filthy.
