Avis sur Hashtag Poki Berkeley
Great poke place with a Hawaiian flare (macaroni salad for example). I would say the portion size is okay for the price but they have great options for mix-in’s and thoughtful arrangement of the sides, rice, and greens. Would recommend the crab salad as a side!
What a great start to begin the year with a new spot unlocked. Hashtag poki is quick and professional at their job. Order what you want, here’s your bowl. Seating inside very minimal but you would need to go during slow hours. I went here Sunday lunch, and enjoyed my meal. I was lucky enough to grab a seat and enjoy all the flavors bursting in my mouth. The wonton chips is definitely a must have in your poke bowl. Quite creative, I like the idea! Street parking is provided, not hard to miss. A corner restaurant to serve you. I am most likely coming back to this joint to enjoy more of their menu.
I've been getting DoorDash from here for a while and it's always good. The fish and sides are fresh and taste amazing. Portions have gotten smaller but the price is well worth it because you get a lot of bang for your buck. Today I got takeout and liked the vibe inside. They greeted me at the door and were kind. I got a small bowl - half white rice, half greens, tuna, salmon, mac salad, wakame salad, green onions, edamame beans, ginger, furikake, cucumber, wasabi sauce, and ponzu sauce, all for around $15 after tip. I am a happy repeat customer!
Delicious poke, fish was very fresh and I appreciate that the crab salad and seaweed salad were not extra. I got the salmon and ahi tuna.
Unexpectedly visited twice — both times they were closed, despite Google showing them as open. Very frustrating experience, especially when planning a meal based on their listed hours. Would recommend calling ahead, as online info seems unreliable.
Great first experience - food was fresh, place was clean, and staff was friendly. Looking forward to my next visit.
This was delicious poke! Lots of fresh options as well as gluten free!
Fast & friendly service! She was very patience as I was trying to understand the menu! Loved the poke bowl
Bright, cozy, and fun. Lots of choices to mix and match. Can't really go wrong.

Unbeatable for price, quality, healthy and portions. It’s worth the drive for me. Best poke in the east bay
Best poke in the East Bay - always super fresh fish and perfect avocados! Recently tried their sashimi bowl (?) and unagi offering. Just excellent service, always. I've always done to go - and I never use Door Dash.
Solid poke place with very good service. I recently tried out their new onigiri (not offered online yet). So they're calling it onigiri, but this thing is large, and it's more like a burger. I got the grilled salmon, spam, and egg one, and it was excellent, whatever they want to call it. Ordered with a roll and I was completely full and satisfied, really good value. I hope they give it a permanent place on the menu.
Always the best service and food. Coming from Maui I was lucky to grow up with quality fish and having worked in restaurants I enjoy their food so much. I can tell the care and quality that goes into it. Love this place and have referred many because of how easy to customize with authenticity to the original styles! Also their wonton chips are somehow better than I can find anywhere else.

For those unfamiliar with this style of cuisine, this type of fast casual restaurant primarily prepares a traditional Hawaiian seasoned raw fish salad served with a bed of rice as the base, your choice of cut raw seafood on top, and some veggies mixed in. It’s good, clean, and healthy eating. But the menu is meager when it comes to hot and cooked food. I mention this because I was looking for a basic cooked chicken over a bed of rice dish when I went, not knowing what their menu consisted of. Although they don’t offer any cooked chicken, their poki bowls are tasty. I particularly liked the seaweed and crab salad as my sides. Customer service was good. The team was patient, helpful and did well to explain the process of how to build a bowl. Do think the mini bowl portion size was plenty of food. Price was fair. Tip, only street side parking.
Fish was fresh, I thought the seasonings on the rice and fish were great. I had brown rice, salmon, albacore, shrimp. Seaweed salad and edamame. Photo of my takeout, the nice presentation got a bit scrambled when dropped it.
I eat here often, overall I think it’s the best poke in the Oakland/Berkeley area (considering price, portions, quality, flavor and service). I’m always pretty satisfied with my orders. Just a note to the staff if anyone see this: my dinner order tonight tasted like the avocados were soaked in lemon juice and the shrimp was a little off. I know lemon juice can prevent the avocado from browning throughout the day but the lemon flavor was too strong throughout the bowl. The flavors may have been different/off because I ordered a late dinner near closing time and typically I order lunch, not sure if maybe the procedures for keeping the food change later in the evening as you start to close up. Just a little feedback. Thanks!

taste is good but eh, i've had better poke. their portions are disappointing both in bases and proteins. their "three proteins" is just a scoop in another poke bar. they have great choices for "free" sides though, which you have to pay for in other poke places. their portions for these sides are great too.

The atmosphere is seriously lacking as is the energy of the employees. Feels more like a gulag. I have eaten here in and off over the years. Their portions are small for the price but generally tasty. I did get food poisoning once from it. The owner was in big denial when I told him but did give me a refund. It was the only thing I’d eaten. I LOVE the ease of parking. This place is generally a good choice especially out of convenience.
TL;DR Hashtag Poki is tasty in the go, pretty mediocre and unpleasant to stick around in for the price you pay. *The Dining Room* I often eat here on my way to do other things in Berkeley, run errands, etc. Theres four tables to sit at, with limited bench seating. Its cluttered inside with all sorts of things the staff use for work, and in the case of right now as I type this review: a team member's red bicycle just sitting against the class cabinet you order from. There's no music playing almost ever. In fact, it is frequently hard to hear team member's taking my order over a hum coming from their ceiling. Sometimes they have a TV on playing something, but it's usually muted. A very stark and unpleasant atmosphere in here that is occasionally broken by customers entering and ordering food. *The Service* There is typically two ladies here who manage everything on their own. They work extremely competently and seem to enjoy being here. It's quite professional. However, the particular time I'm visiting now there are two younger team members that took my order, a man and a separate woman. When I entered through the front door, the woman stared at me in silence with an empty food container in her hands expectantly waiting for me to speak. It was very cold Service and I definitely couldn't recommend ordering in here with food service like that, hence the drop in my rating. Considering the price of meals in here, a little good service goes a long way. *The Food* A regular (2 base, 2 sides, 2 proteins) costs $14 before tax. A Large (2 base, 2 sides, 3 proteins) costs $17 before tax. I ordered a Large with sushi rice, organic greens, spicy tuna, salmon, albacore, and macaroni salad this time around. It was absolutely delicious! The quality of their ingredients and it's preparation goes very far. However, it is a little on the expensive end should you opt for the large. After tax and plus a 15% tip I wound up playing over $21 for a meal I ate in less than 8 minutes. The portion size was about average, it's been less than average on previous visits here. I would say I typically leave Hashtag Poki feeling content, but hungry very soon after. So this is a good place for taste, but not for feeling full. *overall* Based on the service experience I had *today* in conjuction with the regularly poor atmosphere, I wouldn't recommend Hashtag Poki. Come when the TV is on and when the other ladies are working. You'll know who I mean based on demeanor alone.

This used to be my poki take away “go to”. Sad to say, it won’t be any longer: Tonight’s order was a HUGE disappointment! Portions were about a third less than they used to be. The rice was dry (clearly had been sitting there a while) and the “spring mix” of a salad was a couple of gigantic woody leaves.

They cancelled a portion of my order without notifying me so I got half my order. The hamachi in the mini poke bowl tasted a little old. If you get salmon row for your protein it is very small (understandably but disappointing). But mostly I am upset I wasn’t notified of the dish they did not have and gave me the other portion of the order for delivery. I prefer my whole order cancelled instead to place a new order or go somewhere else! I would not recommend getting delivery from here.
