The deserts are a super good and tasty. It's pretty good for just grabbing a quick bite although it might be hard to get full off the food here. Would definitely recommend eating here if you're feeling the need for waffles

Super tasty. Their waffles are warm and crispy and the ice cream is delicious. It tastes homemade. Definitely recommend the milk and honey ice cream. 11/10 will come back when I’m in the Bay Area again!

OMG!!! I could stop here with this review....but I just can't. As many times as I've passed through Berkeley in the past year---i only discovered this awesome place 2 weeks ago. As a pro baker....this places waffles....and chicken are super on point. The guy that runs it in the day...and I believe evenings is the best. Super customer service, contactless and great food??? As I began this review I end it the same way...with OMG! Pro Chef and Baker approved!! Wurrrd up! Btw...I recommend...building your own waffle. My regular is with strawberries, matcha creme, and bacon. Game changer stuff....and just enough sweet ....to be a treat. 🤘🏾🙌🏾🎊🙏🏾😛🤓

Super cute dessert spot with lots of variety of waffle toppings including various ice cream flavors, fruits, sauces, nutella, etc. One waffle with ice cream may look small, but it's usually enough to split between two people. Limited seating, but it hasn't ever been a problem for me.

Was the perfect start to my morning. I had been dying to try it for a few days; the smell when you walk past is to die for! The waffle was very yummy and I want to go back to try one of their dessert waffles with ice cream. Just thinking of it is making me hungry.

Went there because the place smelled so good. The waffles were amazing. It is also nice how we can order from a kiosk! Definitely recommend if you are in Berkeley!!

We stopped here for a little sweet treat and it did not disappoint. I ordered the pretty basic waffle with the bananas and whipped cream and it was delicious. We tried to keep it simple to satisfy a sweet tooth. The waffle was big enough to share with my son, it's not huge but it's just big enough to satisfy that sweet tooth and not be overly full. We used the kiosk to order, it did take probably about 7 minutes for the waffle to come out so don't expect it to be out instantaneously, give yourself some time. Besure to take advantage of the happy hour when the prices are reduced.

You can either order existing menu or customize your waffle. The waffle texture was great, it was crispy, with pearl sugar already baked together in it - a typical belgian waffle-. If you order with ice cream, just be carefull that the ice cream was easily melted. The price was cheaper 2 years ago, and then it kept getting more and more expensive 🥲 Unfortunately, they don't provide seating place. That's a shame. I usually seat in berkeley chess club at the nearest intersection of Telegrap Ave & Haste st, and pretending to play the chess lol. Or i just simply go to MLK building or Upper sproul hall only to eat this.

My girlfriend and I have come here many a times since they first opened. The restaurant is owned by a cute couple (one of which is a Cal alum... Go Bears!~), and they have since expanded their amazingly friendly staff. The restaurant itself is clean and inviting, and the logo is cute by itself. However, the seating is somewhat limited, especially on evenings when everyone is craving something sweet! You can always get your waffle to-go, though they are much better fresh. They also have a deal where you buy a bag of day-old waffles for a markedly reduced price. They have a nice variety of waffle bases and toppings (including our favorite ice cream, Three Twins!), allowing for seemingly limitless decadent and delicious combinations, all reasonably priced. My personal favorite is the Churrofle with creme de gem and Land of Milk & Honey ice cream! 😋 Whatever you decide to get, I am sure it will be absolutely scrumptious!

This place is great! The portion sizes are perfect. They aren't too large for you to feel bad for the amount of sugar, but still enough for you to be satisfied for the craving. I also recently had the mini waffles; they're a great on-the-go snack. The batter is not dense, but 'fluffy' and never under-cooked or burnt to a crisp.

Security footage showed me doing a slow interpretive dance to the sound of the waffle screaming “Leaven me daddy!” When I finally regained conscious, I was lying on pristine sidewalks of Telegraph, powdered sugar on my lips, and a single strawberry slice pressed gently to my forehead like a Eucharist. The waffle didn’t just feed me. It left me quaking.

Waffle of warriors - churroffle, bananas, caramel, & ice cream. Crispy on the outside, fluffy, moist and chewy on the inside. The "secret ingredient",Belgian "pearl sugars" are baked into the waffle which caramelizes on the surface as well as create sweet pockets inside the waffle. These waffles have a unique, truly irresistible aroma!

Delicious little waffles. As far as the staff, I think they can do much better. It's a really small location so I think maybe only 2 people where inside but what turned me off was that I ordered ahead and waited about 7 mins before anyone even acknowledged that I was awaiting to pick up my order. I wouldn't have been as annoyed waiting for my order, had someone just greeted me and said something like "I'll be with you shortly". Customer service is important and small gestures like that can really make or break one's experience.

Walking past the store it's hard to resist getting at least 1 waffle because of the sweet smell. There aren't that many establishments that sell Belgian waffles so it makes this place special! With COVID, you can only order online or on the tablet in front of the store. I got 4 mini waffles to try ($12 for 4 or $3.50 each). You can customize the flavor of each mini waffle on the tablet but they are mostly glazes or sugar options, you can't add toppings. The flavors I ended up choosing were chocolate, matcha, powdered sugar, and cinnamon sugar. Really enjoyed all the waffles I got, but my favorite had to be the powdered sugar. Really appreciated how the glaze wasn't too sweet but just the right balance of sweetness. The waffles aren't that crispy when I got them but overall was soft, warm, and fluffy. Overall, delicious option to fulfill your sweet tooth!

Always room for dessert! I always have such a hard time deciding what I want, but finally settled on something simple but good. You can create your own combination here and I got the churroffle (cinnamon belgian waffle) with a scoop of vanilla ice cream and strawberries. I hate paying for vanilla ice cream because it's so simple, but I don't it when it's really good like this place. The waffle was also a little crispy on the outside and soft on the inside with a good amount of cinnamon sugar for sweetness. The strawberries were a little on the tart side and I hate when they lie to me and say the strawberries are sweet when they're not! Overall, save room for dessert, because this is a good (but filling) one to check out.

I was expecting a crispy waffle (like a brussels waffle) but it was soft and mushy and on the bottom it had bits of burned sugar/waffle. There was only 1 person working and it took 10 min to get the waffle. I think the waffle was also too expensive, you order by yourself at the kiosk, you can't eat in, they charge 25 cents for a box and 1 usd for maple syrup. Having lived in Belgium this just wasnt up to par with the name and a dissapointment.

The waffles by themselves are not good. The waffle wasn't warm, which means the one they gave me wasn't fresh. Second of all, the waffle lacked small pearl sugar cubes which I expected. I'm not sure why this place is named Belgian waffles if it lacks these qualities and the waffle can't stand on its own without all the toppings. Reconsider visiting here!

Missing chicken tenders, missing whipped cream, missing, maple syrup, asked for cookie butter spread on the side they piled it on top of my waffle which ruined the entire meal. I called for a explanation and their excuse was "im sorry we are very busy" A busy restaurant is not an excuse for poor attention to detail and service. Did not recieve a refund for the ruiened waffle but did for my missing items.
