I mean such a WOW! If you cannot say it from the video and photo, its MASSIVE! I’m a salad person and never get full of eating salad, but this was something else. And its sooo delicious. The atmosphere is so great and the staff? Super nice. From what I’m seeing from others having sandwiches, please try them. They are sooo exciting!

my dad introduced this place to me as it was a relatively frequent destination of his while in college and we’ve stopped here ever since i was little :) the veggie delight with extra poppyseed dressing is both of our go-to’s and it’s absolutely delicious. i’ve yet to been able to actually finish the entire thing in one sitting as the portion sizes are huge for the price. highly recommend mezzo, and just wish i lived in the area so i could stop by more often!

Massive portion sizes and fresh sandwiches and salads. I got the combo w the half sub and soup. The sausage and lentil soup was okay, but the BLTA was fantastic. You can tell that the ingredients are pretty fresh. The back patio also has pretty nice seating.

A delightful space with friendly staff, lots of natural light, and amazing food. Prices are super reasonable, especially for how much food you get! I'd recommend going with the half & half — it's $12 without tax and you get to choose 2 out of 3 options: salad, sandwich, soup. I got the Berkeley special sandwich with sausage & lentil soup, and the hummus they used was quite good. Will definitely be heading back to try other options soon!

MEZZO!! LET'S GO!! What a delicious delicious experience here. I came in when it looked a little slow, and I honestly had no clue what to get. I decided to do the BLTA on some kind of whole grain bread with the works, pickled jalapeños added, extra pickles ots, and the chipotle aioli on the side. The shorter man with a mustache who took my order made me the most delicious sandwich ever! It was genuinely everything I could have wanted. There's a perfect balance of bacon and all the vegetables on it. The mayo and dijon add to the smoothness of the avocado, and it all melts together in the best flavor profile ever. The chipotle aioli was also absolutely delicious for dipping the sandwich into. It would've been really amazing inside the sandwich as well, but truthfully it's not a necessity with all the other well balanced aspects of it. The sprouts were a surprising addition that added a little extra texture-wise and I would think nutrient wise, or at least it made me feel healthier. They were also really good. The ambiance of the place was kind of okay. Not my favorite because it was so loud next door but the workers keep everything neat and theyre pretty friendly. I did get a mango green tea that tasted nothing like mango or green tea, but it was still a really tasty drink. It all came out to around 18 bucks, which I thought was pretty worth it. All in all, I DEFINITELY will be coming back.

Yum!! This place was so super delicious. I got a half sandwhich and a half salad and it was SO MUCH FOOD!! I could barely touch my salad. Perfect meal to split. I got a turkey sandwhich on ciabatta with the works but sub out pickles for banana peppers. For the salad I got the herb vinaigrette, and to drink I got the strawberry hibiscus kombucha! Loved it all!! Super solid lunch spot.

8/10 - VERY HEALTHY - they will load up your sandwich with so many sprouts - pretty yummy - very filling - good price for the amount and quality of food - salads are ginormous - soups are all delicious - very nice environment (even has outdoor seating!!) - there will almost always be a long line but it goes through p fast - drinks are really good - kinda hard to find seating but if you do it will be very worth (always try the patio out in the back as long as the weather is good) - not on Snackpass - the staff r usually hella pissy Breakfast Sandwich: 4/10 For $8 I expected more than just a somewhat larger version of ur typical eggs Benedict. It didn’t even come with any sauce just cheddar cheese, egg (scrambled or sunny side up), sausage/bacon. It was filling for breakfast though but very lackluster Italian Sandwich w Jalapeño Cheddar: 7/10 Chicken Salad w Jalapeño Cheddar: 7.5/10 *i would def take any bread over wheat bread unless u like soft breads that get soggy easily and have the occasional lettuce stem come stab through at your fingers

Came here for a late lunch . Self serve place. Place was quiet with lots of seating that time. Chicken sandwich had great flavor. However, the bread slices were so thick that it was hard to bite into the sandwich. Bread was good though. Staff preparing the sandwiches were upbeat and friendly. Cashier was a bit brusque that day.

Honestly, $17.50 for a salad is kinda crazy!! Although, you do a BIG portion…but you can easily make this salad at home with same ingredients at a lower cost. I believe the big piece of bread is unnecessary - the majority of the people don’t eat it, so it’s just a waste.

A really nice place to have Breakfest the back side of the restaurant has a really nice area to sit down with a nice open canopy area to sit and eat. I ordered the Breakfest burrito and you can put a ton of stuff on it for 9 bucks. Overall it was pretty tasty the green sauce was really rich and all the ingredients were pretty flavorful and I liked the sausage and bacon. Highly recommend this place for brunch or breakfast.

Had a good brunch with my mom here. I ordered the Veggie Delight with homemade Greek yogurt green goddess dressing and the BLTA sandwich with beef chili. The portions are huge! The kombucha and pineapple agua fresca were refreshing. The outdoor patio was comfortable, which made up for the slightly lacking service.

The quality of the sandwich and salad was excellent, as always. I usually go for the half sandwich and half salad combo, and the portions are generous—I’ve never been able to finish it in one sitting. The ingredients are fresh, and there's a great selection of bread. My usual choice is honey wheat, but this time I tried the ciabatta. Unfortunately, I found it a bit dry and hard, so I'll likely stick to honey wheat next time. I did have to take out a star due to the customer service. Some staff members were unnecessarily rude. One of them didn’t even acknowledge me and kept chitchatting with another staff member while I was talking to her. There was no "thank you" or "goodbye," which left a poor impression. I'll probably return because the sandwiches are that good. However, there's definitely room for improvement in their customer service.

I am not sure what happened on this day. The person making my salad rubbed her nose all over her hands did not proceed to wash her hands, and then put her gloves on and started to serve me. I asked for a half-and-half vegetarian with no sprouts. She made me completely the wrong salad and put sprouts on it and when I repeated no thank you no sprouts. She just took the sprouts off and they were still sprouts in the bowl. My salad was made in a bowl that other salads had previously been made in. There was a stack of bowls, that have been sitting there who knows how long- that they were mixing every salad in the same dirty bowls. The bowl that my salad was mixed in had completely different dressing in it than the kind that I requested so it was all mix mixed together. Later on, I saw someone mixing lemonade in a container on the floor. The trash can and the place where you return your dirty dishes is right next to where they store clean dishes and where you can fill a water cup. I’m very concerned about the health and safety of the food made at this restaurant. Say nothing about cross contamination because clearly that is not important to them. I cannot recommend vegetarians to eat here because it’s possible that your food will be mixed with meat without your consent. People with food allergies should not eat here either. Just look at the mess.
