Avis sur Abramo Bettolino
I ate with my culinary friends who really know a lot about top end cooking. They were super impressed with the quality of food. Apparently risotto is very hard to make and my friend said it was perfection. All around it was a really good experience with a good waiter. I would highly recommend for people who are into high quality food.
I had dinner here during COVID in October. On the weekends, you need reservations, or else you will wait up to 30 minutes. I had reservations and was seated almost immediately. The outdoor seating was surprisingly nice. They definitely made the best of their situation. The seating wrapped around the entire parking area, and there was plenty of social distancing between tables. The food was also excellent, and this place deserves 5 stars on this basis alone. I've had better Italian food in my life, but I would confidently say that this is probably the best Italian restaurant anywhere close to Palos Verdes (where I live).
We had a wonderful night at Bettolino’s - the food was superb. I had the pistachio crusted halibut which was cooked to perfection. My husband had the eggplant Parmesan which he said was a perfect combination of flavors. Just a delightful restaurant experience. Our server Nick was terrific. Very friendly and attentive and knew the menu well. He was a bonus to our evening.
Excellent customer service, food and ambience! And shout out to the quality experience and tone set by our friendly waiter, Shane and Manager, Miss Sylvia! Definitely looking forward to coming back.
We stopped in to this place while traveling and grabbed a couple seats at the bar. Matthew, the bartender, recommended the Pesce al Pistachio, and we also got a Beef Bolognese. Both were fantastic, and Matthew had a great relaxed charm about him. I'd highly recommend this spot for great food! P.S. the espresso was also quite good.
Our waitress Jenn was fantastic! Food was fantastic! Nothing negative to report whatsoever. Had the Tagliatelle Bolognese and Tortelloni Al Limone which is to die for. The lemon cream sauce is a hearty lemon flavor not just a tinge of lemon! Got the Monday $60 1 appetizer, 2 entrees, and 1 dessert and it was definitely worth it
We picked up by the kids favorite food items and brought it to their home to me enjoy! The pastas and salads are our Favorites. So no authentic! Cheers Deirdre Michslski
BIG shout out to Rich for taking such good care of us. Food once again delicious taste and artful presentation. Tried Grandma's polpete, calamari, lobster pasta, etc. Loved the bread pudding! We'll be back to eat here next time we're in the area.
This place is flat out one of the best Italian restaurants in our area. The dishes are so flavorful and creative. I struggle everytime to pick a dish cause want some of everything. The gnocchi sausage truffle dish is one of my favorites. The carbonara is amazing. And the oxtail dish is superb. There is no bad food in this place. The service is amazing. Want something simple - get the hearts of palm salad and throw some chicken on it. Good and healthy. Go here and enjoy.
We love this restaurant. The food, the service is always best in class. Their fresh pasta is second to none.
Wonderful food and atmosphere. Their long (2–6) Happy Hour offers half-price appetisers of excellent quality. Sign up for their mailing list to get discount cards and notices of their “share the profits” days for worthwhile charities.
We had a fabulous dinner tonight. The food was perfect, delivery was good as well. Our pasta dishes were exceptional, and the calamari was so tender. Bettolino’s is now one of our go to restaurants, and we will continue to order regularly during this difficult time.
I've been here twice now. Loved the two entrees that we ordered. Shrimp with squid ink pasta and the tortellini. Sonia the waitress was very attentive brought us a complementary dessert for my daughter, celebrating her birthday.
This place is delicious! I dont think I've had a mediocre thing on the menu. Today I went for lunch n got the Beto box lunch special. You think lunch special, may not be as good. You/I would be wrong. It was individual small plates, caprese salad w beets, clam chowder, watermelon n feta salad, salmon w stewed tomatoes n basil, and pesto pasta w mushrooms. Each one to die for. Last week we had the tortellini in lemon sauce and the mushroom pasta. We savored every bite.
Lovely food and such pleasant staff!
Visited for lunch with family for brother's birthday. Food selection, quality, and service were great. Free corkage made it even better as the brother brought as long some good things from his collection. Price was fair for what was provided. I'd go back anytime.
The food is outstanding! Loved every bit of the meal. The olive oil and bread we're a great kickoff. Appetizers and salads were fresh and delicious and our main pasta dishes were extraordinary. This has become a go to spot for a delicious meal.
Since it was DineLA, they had a special for lunch...select from two choices for both the first and second courses. I had the shrimp/cannelini salad and Betto box which came with 4 small dishes for $20. Both were delicious and I enjoyed having the variety of food. Also had the peach strawberry sparkling drink, non-alcoholic, made from peach puree with small pieces of strawberries...refreshing, not too sweet, loved it. Staff was friendly, helpful. 12/15/2021 They still have the Betto Box lunch special and outdoor seating with umbrellas and heaters. Loved the food and friendly staff!
Fabulous service! Food was delicious!! Highly recommend!!! Plus free parking👍👍
The food was delicious here. I was about to go into my calorie deficit and I canceled that one I saw the menu. The bread was delicious and fresh. The calamari was so tender. And the halibut I ordered was perfect. My husband ordered the fish stew ( I forgot the name of it). He loved it.
We went here for dinner, and it was an excellent experience!! Our food was delicious, the atmosphere was great, and our server was extremely personable and helpful. I had the halibut (can't remember the Italian name), and it was very good. I have absolutely no complaints about it; every part of the dish was enjoyable. Our other dishes were similarly delicious. We also had appetizers and desserts, and all were very good. Our server really helped us out with choosing the best menu options, and I really felt at home while eating! I will definitely return when I'm in the area, and I recommend this place to anyone looking for an excellent dinner.
Great food! Awesome service! Will definitely be back!
I have passed this place several times and I got the chance to experience a dine in with a friend. It was amazing!!!! The atmosphere is modern, open and airy yet private. The food!!!!! OMG the food!!!! You gotta try this!!!! I was so mesmerized I didn’t take any photos. Captured in the moment and engaged in the present. I got the combo Lasagna and Hearts of Palm salad.
New to the area, first time here. Put simply, they know what they're doing. To say the food was delicious would be an understatement. Their service is also fantastic. This specific lasagna dish was a special at the time (they have another variation on their normal menu), which was a large portion of lasagna filled with a rich meat sauce, plated over an oil-based cream sauce. The dish was not overly salty, and also packed lots of umami flavor. My partner ordered the pesto, which was also decadent. Service was phenomenal as well. Not often do you get servers who really WANT to serve. Ours was energetic and seemed keen on giving opinions on the menu, which was very welcomed. She seemed to love her work, which in turn made our dining experience that much more enjoyable. Overall enjoyable experience. Happy I found a nice neighborhood Italian restaurant this quickly.
The food is always very good! The selection is diverse. The service is good. One of the best places to eat in the LA I know!
We got here a little before opening on Saturday for brunch, though we didn't mind the wait due to a cute photo booth they had setup. Everyone was super friendly, and then the food started coming out. The olive oil, herbs, and balsamic with fresh warm bread immediately put these guys in the good list... then the hearts of palm salad and green eggs and ham cemented it. I think my biggest complaint with the place was that I wanted to try just about everything on the menu! Everything looked and smelled amazing. Definitely one of the best Italian restaurants I've been to.
This is one of our very favorite Italian restaurants to go to, especially for special occasions. From the service being so friendly, to the style of the restaurant being so chic, to the food being so tasty! I also love that it is a family owned business, and you can tell the owner cares a lot about his customers experience. We can't wait to go back soon!
Service and food is excellent. Went on a Monday - special is an appetizer + 2 mains + a mini dessert for $65 for a list of items or $80 for the rest of the menu. They completely understand glutenfree, subbing risotto for pasta. But on Wednesday they have gluten free pasta, rotating the type each week. Brussel spouts and Ciopino and scallops/lobster/risotto were excellent and $80. We skipped the included dessert since it wasn't GF, but they do have a flourless chocolate cake for extra. The portions were enough that we didn't need dessert :)
Owner is so top class for customer service. Scallops are to die for. Staff is amazing. Dog friendly. We will be back 💓
A great dining experience! Everyone was very knowledgeable about all the dishes & wines. Honest with their suggestions, not pushy with anything. They let you take all the time you need to enjoy all aspects of your evening. Menu has a tasty selection of typical & special dishes, portioned perfectly. Very intimate atmosphere for both small & bigger groups. This has become one of our 1st choices for our evening meal.
Loved the service. Mike was awesome! He’s been our server before and he remembered us. Allie was also awesome! She was extremely pleasant and very accommodating! Would recommend promoting her to server! The Capesante di Aragosta was delicious and Cannoli Cheesecake heavenly! Can’t wait for our next trip to Redondo so we can eat here again!
Really great experience here! My husband and I had spent the whole day hiking and exploring the area- we were in need of some carbs. I ordered the lasagna and he ordered the Bolognese, which were both delicious. We got an appetizer of these fried risotto balls that came with a wonderfully creamy tomato sauce. You can tell they use fresh ingredients for everything! They also give you fresh bread and olive oil dipping, I'm not sure what it was but that was some of the best olive oil I've ever had in an Italian restaurant!
Cute Italian spot with delicious food and friendly staff. Came here post-hike on a Sunday for dinner and walked in without a reservation. We got a table immediately, but the hostess mentioned it was the only walk-in table available (we arrived around 6pm). Th restaurant has booths big enough for large families and can also be a good date night spot. The crowd seemed local. There’s parking available in the shared lot. Credit cards are accepted. Single occupant restrooms are located in the back. Both indoor and outdoor seating is available. They event have a photo booth at the front of the restaurant. Shoutout to Meuri, who was one of the sweetest waiters I’ve ever had. She made sure to check in on us and had such a lovely charm. The food was also all on point. They provide free bread with olive oil but we got an order of brussel sprouts too (which ended up coming with the food but it’s all good). We shared our pastas so we got the pesto and the carbonara. The texture of the pastas were perfectly cooked and the sauces were flavorful, particularly the pesto. Note that if you check in on Yelp, you could get a free cannoli cheesecake. The cheesecake looks small but was heavy, so you’ll definitely need to share with one or two other people. Overall, a great spot to eat some bomb pastas and hang out.
It was our second visit to this bustling restaurant in Hollywood Riviera. I highly recommended it and reservations are advised. It is a cozy neighborhood gem with an ample menu of items that have all been expertly prepared. If you are looking for a Bucca de Peppo type of experience/menu I suggest you go a block farther north on PV Blvd. This is a more “high-end” Italian restaurant without being “fancy”. Our tab this weekend for 2 was $120….including one glass of wine. If you go, I highly recommend the rosemary focaccia with burrata cheese and prosciutto. That may have been the highlight of the meal. We split the hearts of palm salad that had generous slices of delicious Parmesan cheese on top. On our first visit my girlfriend ordered the octopus that she said was very good. Being from Thailand I trust her judgement. I had the lasagne that was excellent and not overly heavy or filling. On our visit last weekend my GF had the scallops that she loved and I had the lemon spinach tortelloni. If was good, but not very filling. I probably won’t order that again as a main dish. The restaurant is on the small side and the tables are close together. The two women in the foursome next to us had too much wine and got a little loud. That is why I gave them 4 stars for atmosphere. The server was top-notch. Go and enjoy for yourself!!
This is the 4th time my fiancé and I have had the pleasure of date night here. Very consistent in cocktails and food. Last night was likely the best experience we have had. Huge shout out to Anne W for not only being awesome (she remembered us from one night months ago! Talk about feeling special!), but also for creating one of the best dishes on the menu! Squid ink del mare was not on the menu, but it should be! Cannot rave enough about the garlic olive oil served with the bread. Simple, wholesome ingredients time and again. Hope to be able to hang with Anne again on our next visit!
Excellent Italian food. Great value and weekly specials. Get their truffle gnocchi or kurobuta pork dish. Good Italian and California wines. No corkage on certain days. Wine and drink specials, happy hour 2pm to 6pm. I think better food than lots of other places in Riviera village.
Holy smokes is this place good. Came here for a birthday celebration this weekend and I couldn't have been happier. Get the balsamic vinegar drink and the Focaccia to start! It was soft as a pillow and the prosciutto was tastyyy. The seabass was exquisite. There honestly wasn't one plate that we didn't like. Sonia was a gem of a server, extremely kind and took great care of us. Nothing but smiles and good vibes. Oh yeah, you can't leave without trying their cannoli cheesecake!! Can't wait to come back :) Thank you Sonia!
Great food! Amazing service! The Pistachio crusted fish and the bread pudding #bettolinokitchen @bettolinokitchen #buzzybooth
Very good Italian dinner. 4 of us in a corner booth with plenty of room and not noisy, even though there was a good crowd. Good wine selection and cocktails, had a “fig loves bourbon” which was very enjoyable (both of them). We had a variety of seafood, pasta, and risotto dishes which were all excellent. Our server was very good, helpful and friendly - she did miss one or two minor things but got our other (more complicated) requests. Definitely will be going back
Sandy was an amazing waiter She came with energy and customer service that we needed that specific night The wine she recommended hit the spot I ordered the eggplant parmesan and it was delectable, no bite left behind As a last night in Cali I got the celebration shot and it was worth it with the little biscuit
Betollino Kitchen is one of my favorites in the area. It never disappoints. I have been coming here for over 2+ years. I tried almost everything on their menu. There's NO one bad item, everything is absolutely delicious 😋 Edit: I moved to Colorado and came back after 6+ months to enjoy good food here at Bettolino Kitchen. It's as amazing as I remember. If you're around Redondo Beach and have never been here, you're missing so much. Treat yourself at Bettolino. You deserve it!
Top shelf service, excellent food and an all around great meal out. I can think of enough positive things to add here, except that I would dine here again anytime. Best be early and have a reservation. Highly recommend.
I recently dined at Bettolino Kitchen for the first time since it originally opened, and I honestly don’t know why I waited so long to return. Boy howdy, both the food and the overall dining experience have seriously elevated. The pasta was extremely delicious, and every appetizer we tried hit the mark, thoughtful, flavorful, and clearly made with care. You can feel the refinement in the menu and execution without it feeling fussy. I’m already looking forward to going back and working my way through more of the menu—a fantastic rediscovery.
We have enjoyed dining at Bettolino for both lunch and dinner.. all the courses are excellent. The fish was just as great as their pastas. They also offer some hearty choices with red meat. Whatever you choose the food is all made with care and the flavors are mainly simple but oh so good. Nothing here is too complicated or trendy, the type of dishes that I will still want to order years from now. The service is top notch and the interior is a beautiful space for any occasion, elegantly understated and just the right upscale but still inviting balance. Everything here is comfortable, welcoming, and you leave extremely happy you came in.
A perfect dining experience at this restaurant. The service were so good and we were so lucky that we went there on Thursday. Free 1 bottle corkage. The olive oil with herbs for the bread is a hidden gem. We have fish and pork for main and both were so good. 100% recommended this place.
Excellent from the moment we walked in. It’s the real deal. Service —- excellent recommendations. There were 4 of us. I had lasagna…it was legit. Over the top! Everyone else was also thrilled with their choices. Dessert…get the graham with the salty caramel. You’ll thank me. The homemade limoncello…a MUST! Loved the conversations & history with everyone we encountered. Wish we went here earlier in our vacation. All four of us were grateful. Legit Italian! 💜
Enjoyed a lovely lunch with my family here. We had the calamari, carbonara, gnocchi, the squid ink pasta, the cannoli cheesecake, and lastly, the semifreddo. We enjoyed all of the food, but the food that stood out the most for us was the calamari, especially when paired with the lemon aioli. The service was great as well. Freddy was a fantastic server, though everyone we interacted with was fantastic. If I lived here, I'd go at least once a week, just trying all of the different food and daily specials.
This place is very nice, but it seems they have some obsession with beans. Every single dish we ordered had beans in one form or another. The food was good, though, and it was possible to avoid the beans in most dishes, so they weren’t that much of a problem really. The service is fantastic, and the waiters are very attentive and friendly. Very nice booths with comfortable seating and private atmosphere.
This is a surprising great plan in a slightly off the beaten path location. Great food and service, and good wine options. Some say it is the best Italian in the area, but that’s just what HenryJ says, so you will have to go see for yourself! We just came back and had an amazing Tagliatelle Bolognese. The calamari con gamberi was also fantastic. If you like a good red wine try the Zach Brown cab. VictorB
AMAZING! AMAZING! AMAZING! My husband took me to this for a date night on Monday. It was great experience! The food is delicious! The stuff is polite and nice! Restaurant is very cozy and clean. We ordered a lot of food! My favorite was octopus (honestly, the best I ever had, so tender) and semifreddo! We also had tree different pasta and short rib! They make their pasta in house, which is very important for me! I definitely recommend this place!
The food and service was top-notch. Our waiter was very knowledgeable and very attentive to our needs. Great service highly recommend and would definitely go there again.
All the food was good. I especially loved the lasagna and crab cake. This will be my option for Italian food when I am back to Torrance again.
We ABSOLUTELY love this place. My boyfriend and I’s go to date night spot. The food is amazing and the service is even better. Every item we have tried is delicious. We previously went on Saturday, which was very busy but the service was phenomenal. John, our server was incredible! We will most definitely be back.
Outstanding calamari sauce was incredible. I tried gnocchi which was also delishious. I loved sitting outside nice, comfortable, quiet and tower heaters made it feel just right. Save room for desert we were to full.
December 2023: I recently came here to celebrate my birthday for lunch! Chad was our server who was so kind, attentive, and professional. We both ordered the Betto Box because we enjoy what the chef creates and prepares! This time it contained a wonderful mushroom soup, salad, halibut our couscous and a penne pesto with asparagus! We savored each dish and love it. I always enjoy coming here!Great service. Very tasty food! See my photos! July 2023 It's been too long since my last visit!!! My friend and I both ordered the Betto Box which the Chef's Choice of four different items. Today choice was ahhhhmazing!!! Main course: grilled salmon over mashed potatoes, perfectly cooked and tasty. Soup: butternut squash with a drizzle of olive oil, oh my! This was sooooooooooo flavorful! Salad: watermelon, feta over baby greens. I loved this too! Pasta: pesto sauce with panchetta over twisted noodles. I really loved this too! We also had warm bread with the olive oil balsamic vinegar herb dipping sauce. I would have ordered another round of this delicious Betto Box but I was full. We ordered dessert too! They were nice and not too sweet! Thank you Bettolino Kitchen!

Love the new outdoor space. Food is A+ and so are the cocktails. Great for any and all occasions. Highly recommend. You won't be disappointed.
One of my favorite spots in the Riviera! Menu is well-priced and has many options, with a phenomenal happy hour menu and daily specials/deals (date night on Monday!). Love that the restaurant also does community events such as Toy Drives and Blood Donations 🫶

Surprisingly good neighborhood Italian restaurant. I went at 4pm on a Saturday and it was quiet. The wait staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. The food is done very well - with good ingredients and great care. You can tell the kitchen staff takes pride in their products. Their seafood dishes are very good (some people might complain that this is not authentic Italian food and they are right but this is California where cultures and everything else fuses and mixes). They have happy hours everyday in the early afternoon
We tried it for the first time on date night. Pretty good deal on Mondays: choose a starter and entree, plus a cheesecake for $50. Substitute off the regular menu for $10 more. The grilled octopus is just a bit less tasty than the smoky octopus at Alexander's. The oxtail pasta is spot on. The bolognese pasta is excellent. Cocktails on the drink menu were mostly sweet but order whatever you like because the bartender can do it.
Would be 5…. But they got rid of the polenta squares. I’m gluten free and they don’t have gluten free bread, but they had polenta squares as a substitute. If they could bring them back, it would make the restaurant more gluten free friendly, which would be good considering so many people have dietary restrictions. #AllergyAwareness
Pretty decent italian. My wife and I enjoy this spot and they are always accommodating to seating us with our young child. We've come here a bunch of times and the only complaint I'd have is that its not always consistent. I'd say I've had a great meal here about 75-80% of the time, hence the 4 stars.
Good food for brunch! quiet and nice environment. Got a panini that was delicious, and my dad got the French toast that was smaller but good! Would love to go back and try dinner sometime! Pricing was nice for brunch.
Really enjoyed our meal here. The service was great and the food came quickly and was cooked just right. Really the only minor knock was that the food was a little too salty. Might have just been bad luck, though, so we’ll definitely dine there again.
First time here but I was with someone that goes all the time. Appetizers are very good and the bread was probably some of the best I've ever had. Very unusual. It was very busy for Wednesday night. I'm sure I'll be coming back to this place again
Attention ladies FYI if you don’t want to sit at the entrance to the bathroom you need to tell them when you make your reservation because that’s where you will be seated regardless of how many people are there dining. Rude hostess when we requested to be moved. Empty tables at booths for the 2 hours we were dining. We ordered drinks, appetizers and dinner with cappuccino to finish. Yes we did have a reservation we did not just walk in. Which interestingly we watched mixed groups and men do that and they were escorted to booth tables. Yes they put women at the bathroom entrance again after we got up and moved to a new table. Very disappointed in this type of discrimination. Food was a 4.5. Service was a 3.5 at best.
Late Wednesday was our best time at this place so far around 8:30 pm . Manager host was nice only few tables and according to him it’s the calm after the storm & lucky us . Our server Sandy was amazingly pleasant and professional . Food was perfect this time around from appetizers to main course. Wine was fine but the only downside and waste of $$$ was the Burbon Fig ( I love figs btw ) cocktail! Too sweet and taste more like an ethnic profile hardly a taste of Burbon . It was my fault not saying anything about it I’m sure they would have made it better for me again or replaced , it was late and about to close . The three stars are for the drink , the food is a 4 stars .
We used to come here for indoor dining. Kids were treated with yummy options from a special menu and some craft activity. Amid COVID-19 there is no indoor dining for now. Missing this special experience as a family. How ever,There is now an option for on site dining in a tent; outdoors. The tent is almost like an indoor space though. It might not fit everyone’s needs for ventilation? Our curbside pick up experience was smooth and fast in February 2021.
Had lunch at Betollino's - Persimmon & Chestnut Salad, Fazzoletti Pasta and Squid Ink Tagliolini Pasta. Baked bread was good and the salted olive oil was good but a tad bit salty. Salad was as decent portion for the price and a good mix with a non-overpowering dressing. The pasta was good - finished everything. Their handmade pasta was al dente but on the softer side. Would've preferred "handmade" pasta slighty firmer. (I don't mind store-bought ones slightly overdone.) All in all, service was good and so was the food.
If you are looking for authentic Italian food, ciao ciao. This place is fusion Italian so if you're looking for something that is very Italian authentic, you'll be disappointed. Al dente pasta was surprisingly well presented! But not like Italian authentic pasta, it was a bit salty. (Authentic Italian food is very plain) Del mare, which is linguine pasta with lobster, halibut, shrimp, scallops and more... was good but a bit salty. Maybe because we just came from Italy, American food is bit salty. Betto box, which is chef's choice of 4 was good. Glass of Montepulchiano was good as well. Good vibe and friendly staffs.
This review is long overdue, but I cannot recommend Bettolino Kitchen enough. It’s a gem of the South Bay, and we’re lucky to have it. Every time I’ve dined there, the service has been distinctly more friendly than other restaurants I’ve dined at. The servers treat the patrons with respect and kindness. Most recently, I hosted my child’s first birthday there. The restaurant was very accommodating from the menu selections to seating arrangements. For the quality of the food, ambience, and service we get to enjoy, the price is good in my opinion as well. My guests all loved each dish, and I personally love the complimentary bread and dipping oil they serve - can’t get enough of it! I want to especially thank Ray, Cici and Chad for serving us that day and Roman, Sonia and Briana for coordinating with me until the day of the event. Everyone I worked with was professional and kind, and Bettolino is bookmarked for my future events.
Date night out for my partner's birthday! The food was excellent! Our server was sweet but professional and knew the menu well! It was a Monday night and that is "Date Night" there (I had no idea) so it was $75 for our appetizer, both entree's (we chose higher priced items so it wasn't the typical $65)!!! Incredible deal! Again, the food was sooooooooo good! The fresh bread before our appetizer came out was delightful, our appetizer (CARCIOFI PESTO) was scrumptious! 🤤🤤🤤 We did like eating it with the fresh bread moreso than the bread that came with it (the crunch was nice but it was difficult to dip and eat the appetizer with the thin crispy bread with so many big holes in it). Our entree's were the Brasato (so tender and flavorful) and Capesante di Aragosta. The scallops were ok -they were seared and had a great texture with minimal seasoning- and the seafood bisque was made with lobster which was scrumptious!!!! Our desert was good too! Definitely recommend!!! The photo booth was a fun extra as well!!! The ONLY thing I'd love to be different would be for seating to allow for more privacy. Each team member seemed genuinely to want us to have a good experience and we're all very kind and interactive.

First time and it was so so. My son ordered the bolognese and said it was good. I ordered the squid ink pasta and it was just okay. The pasta was good. I like their fresh made pasta. However it was the blandest pesto I've ever had. Not flavorful and the dish was watery. The shrimp were mediocre. For a $20+ plate I would have expected fresh prawns bot frozen medium shrimp. Service was okay. Might try it again. Not sure
Small restaurant space with good, overpriced eats. Would not reccomend for the price and awkward atmosphere. Food was great, but atmosphere can be a bit awkward as all tables are within an arms distance of the other. We went out for date night and they squeezed us into a middle table in between a Father/Daughter on our left and a 4 year old with her mother on our right. It was difficult to have a conversation as we could only hear the ones we were surrounded by. Otherwise, the food was excellent roughly $24.00 a plate. They offer good deals spread thought the week like half off of appetizers on Thursdays, and happy hour deals like $3.00 off of mixed drinks until 6pm. Would not reccomend for the price. If you do not mind overpaying and sitting awkwardly close to strangers then definitely give this place a try for yourself.
We did the four course celebrating their four years in business. The service was great, the food was overall not bad. Salmon was a bit bland and flavorless. Brussel sprouts seemed over cooked and I couldnt taste the capers. The dessert/frozen mousse wasn't bad. We'd probably return, but not a rush to get back.
I want to try this place again to give the food a chance. Maybe try an entre as we only had pasta dishes. The Carbanara was tasty but non-traditional. Made with panchetta and not guanciale, but since it was served with shrimp (di gamberi), having the strong flavor of the guancialle may not have been the better match. It is also served with a cream sauce, but at least they don't miss-represent as the menu clearly states it is made with cream. The Gemelli Rafano (pasta with short ribs) was more of a miss. The flavors were muddled with the short rib meat hard to discern in the sauce. It would have been vastly improved if the meat was left more intact to provide texture, But this could have been a result of dining on a Sunday if the sauce was left over from a prior preparation.
Usually pretty good - maybe everyone’s having a bad day - the onion soup had zero flavor- dinner bento box was a disappointment- waitress had. Very bad attitude- gonna take them off our list for a while -

Our family has been coming here and ordering food “to go” often since the day they opened. We have always been very pleased with their lunch and dinner food and service. My former review was 5 stars, and I recommend Bettolino’s to many people. However…. I am changing my review here to one star… Today we attended for a family brunch. I am gluten free, due to an allergy, but figured this would be a good place for brunch as I know they offer “gluten free pasta nights”. I was sure there would be great brunch options for me. Unfortunately, I sat with no meal today as my family ate. There were no brunch menu options that worked for my allergy. The waitress (who seemed very uninformed about gluten free as a whole) suggested salad. Anyone who is gluten free knows this is such an annoying suggestion. No one wants to eat salad at 11am. Nor pasta, which was the other suggestion she had. I came for brunch. Brunch food would have been nice. There was not much effort to accommodate my dietary needs. The service was awful. Instead of allowing me to sit there with no food, someone could have asked the chef for GF modifications/options OR suggested a poached egg with potatoes…. ANYTHING. I am shocked there was not more of an accommodation from a restaurant that publicizes their “gluten free pasta nights”. (Something I order often which is why I didn’t want it for BRUNCH) Customer service and some effort would have gone a long way. I was so excited for this family brunch and was looking forward to eating a good meal. The way it was handled today was awful. We have supported this restaurant consistently since their opening and it was so disappointing that there was no offer to make things a little better. The fact I had to just sit there hungry with no food made us all so disappointed. What was worse was the lack of service. After years of support, we will not be returning to Bettolino’s.
We dined here on 07/30/2024 @5pm. Sean Liguore should be ashamed of his establishment. I was recommended to try this restaurant by my aunt that host her work meetings here. I was excited to dine here… from the moment we were sat squished with a party of 6 in a booth that I booked on open table. My mom politely asked Sandy if we could be sat on a table and was rudely declined informing us that is for reservations. Well excuse me, I am a reservation that booked on open table. After going back and forth she finally relocated us to a table. Dana was our server and she is exceptional, we wanted to make sure she was tipped well. Dana was the only person that truly was a sweetheart. The hostess with long blond hair that had it pulled back in a ponytail was extremely rude, we were kind to her thanking her for bringing the bread but no reply just a rude look… and there was a tall man serving bread that was extremely rude as well, slamming the bread down. The scallop entree that two of us ordered had ammonia taste. I didn’t eat mine, but my mom warned me. We informed Dana and she also said it wasn’t even cooked properly. So is the restaurant intentionally trying to poison us with bad scallops. We had the manager come by that my husband alerted with the whole interactions and bad food.. the manager said he would take care or it, but did nothing on the bill, he discounted scallops that we didn’t eat. My husband argued with him and he eventually took around $50 . I’ve never had a dining experience like this in my life. I would not ever dine here and will inform others to stay away. If you upset Sandy she will be sure that the whole staff not only are rude to you, but also provide food that will send you to the hospital.
Who died? Everyone working there is not friendly at all. Waiters try to avoid serving you. No smile, nothing. Owner needs to clean house. Maybe they’re paying everyone minimum wage. Will never go back.
It has taken me a year to come here and leave this review. This restaurant has been my husband and I neighborhood restaurant where we have dined every weekend for seven years straight. About one year back, we went to dine as usual, we have gotten to know the staff but that night, the waitress that waited on us seemed new. She took our orders and was very pleasant. Minutes later she comes back rushing, sits on one of the chairs in our table, and says to my husband: “I am so relieved, the kitchen staff informed me that you have a twin brother and it is your twin brother that has been brining all these women to dine here” my husband responds I don’t have a twin brother, she then laughs and says ops maybe I am mistaken you with someone that looks like you. She returns to the kitchen giggling. Of course that incident caused an unpleasant night for us. The next day we when back and each individually addressed management. My husband demanded to speak to the owner. The response we got was that he waitress is known for such pranks but that they will be speaking to her about the pranks. We have not stepped foot there again. The incident reflected an unsafe and an unprofessional place. The response also reflected lack of appreciation for repeated customers. The prank or whatever that was, was extremely unprofessional and ill minded. If it was truly a prank then it shows the level of professionalism the staff carry around and the lack of respect they have for their customers, and if it was a mistaken identity it also shows lack of professionalism. The response from the owner was possibly as bad as the act of his staff. Calling a very disturbing incident a prank adds insult to injury. I hope they have put better policies and work manuals in place that will protect their customers.
