Great service tonight!! Our chips were unfortunately really burnt and we didn’t eat many of them because of it. A michelada that was ordered, had way too much horseradish. Overall, a great evening, great experience and the vibe was there! Service was great.

I ordered online, it was ready in 15 minutes. Everyone was kind and quick. Their vegetarian options were wonderful. I think that might have been the best burrito I ever had. Next time I am in bing, I will be stopping by again! The portions were great and everything had great flavor.

Try to snag an outdoor seat. This place tastes AMAZING!!! Grab a Beer and Shot, and then order some Tacos and Garage Nachos. The flavors are a mix of Sweet Spice mixed with Fresh Snappy Greens. Definitely order more than one dish, you'll thank me later :D

We were suggested this place by some locals on a stop for dinner working our way up to Northern New York. Lovely atmosphere, staff was friendly and the tacos were sooooo good. I got the shrimp tacos, fries,and fried avocados. I'll definitely be stopping by again if I'm in the area again to try their other tacos.

The staff at Garage taco was excellent. I called ahead to make sure it was ok that my dog sat on the patio with me and my family. They were so accommodating and even brought her some water. The food was delicious!!

This is a good place to eat Mexican Food . The food is very flavorful and fresh . They have an awesome menu selection . You should try to chicken Quesadilla or steak tacos 👌🏼. Went here with my daughter who is attending Binghamton University. The atmosphere is fun and the service was amazing. Food was fantastic. Definitely want to go back when I visit my daughter again

Had lunch today and everything was Fantastic! All 3 of our meals were delicious and we were given some great options to choose from by our server Valerie. She was Polite, Enthusiastic and Professional plus waited on us in a timely manner. They also have a nice outdoor area with seating she told us we could come another day to have lunch or dinner at when it wasn’t so hot out. We will definitely be back.

Broke margaritas on Monday for 4 bucks are absolutely worth it!!! Ended up trying chicken tacos with beans due to a kitchen error and they did not disappoint!! Got chips with queso also excellent and during happy hour so great price! Party of 3, one got the chicken quesadilla, one got smothered burrito, I got shrimp tacos. Everything was great!! And definitely will be back. Great food great service!!! Need to have dessert next time!

Garage Taco Bar is an excellent choice for Taco Tuesday! I had the pleasure of trying their fish taco and fried avocado, and they were both delicious. The fish was perfectly cooked and seasoned, and the fried avocado was crispy on the outside and creamy on the inside. The atmosphere was also great, and the staff was friendly and attentive. I highly recommend giving Garage Taco Bar a visit for their delicious food and great service.

Omg what can I say? This place deserves more than 5 stars, the staff were absolutely excellent, food was to die for. If you haven't visited this place then you need to, I promise you won't be disappointed.

First time dining out (well, outside anyway) since this country got annihilated by the pandemic. Initially, we had some slight confusion with the unusual social distancing practices of this place. But we quickly figured out that ordering was actually through the website. First up was the dip trio: Queso, Guac, and Chipotle salsa. Outstanding. My wife is not a fan of cilantro. Unfortunately for her, cilantro was in both the guac and the salsa, and she thought it was overpowering. I like cilantro, so I disagreed. Next up for me was the Big Mac taco. Very similar, but probably much healthier because, you know, McDonald's. Fresh ingredients, too. Highly recommended! If I ever come back to Binghamton again, I'll definitely come here - mid-pandemic or otherwise. One last note: service was amazing and super fast!

I’ve been past this place a few times but finally had a chance to visit and I’m glad I did. The atmosphere was pretty chill and the shrimp tacos were really good, loved the sauce (which seems to be made in house). Great drink specials too, can’t wait to dine-in in the warmer weather.

Delicious food and great atmosphere! Tacos were outstanding as were the chirros! Corn dogs were good but I wouldn't say a must have. Chips and guacamole were ok. Staff were very nice and helpful definitely recommend!

Amazing gem of a place! If this was Brookyln there would be lines around the block. I had the shrimp tacos which were perfect. Side salad was delish too. Yummy Sangria. Great vibe. Super cool and unexpected music. Really nice staff too. I live in NYC but will be back again!

We were in Binghamton and Garage was close to our hotel and dog friendly and oh yeah we love tacos and margs! It had just rained but the staff was kind enough to give us some towels to dry off the outdoor seating. We were starving after a long day of traveling so we ordered chips and queso, a shrimp taco meal, Barbacoa taco meal and the absolutely necessary margarita. The food came out quick and it was good. The chips were fresh and the queso was creamy and had just enough zip. The taco meals were filling and had some yummy rice and beans to accompany the tacos. The shrimp was cooked well and was flavorful. The barbacoa was tender and flavorful, the twist is that it was cooked with Dr. Pepper. On top of the delicious food we had an amazing experience from the wonderful staff. They were beyond attentive, kind and checked on us several times. They made sure our dog had water, we had enough chips and beverages and that we were enjoying our meal. The host was actually a cook who was not able to cook right now due to a wrist injury but he was a phenomenal server/ host and even brought out some yummy home made hot sauce that is made here on site. The only bad part of this meal is that it’s not close to home.

A great menu and atmosphere but the covid ordering is a pain in the rear end. I did return last night February 5th and the ordering experience was 100% better. Any business that changes and listens to the customer is definitely worth going back to. The tacos and burritos were delicious as well!!

Traveling from PA, wanted tacos, this was on our route! So glad we stopped, very accommodating with our 2 dogs. Everyone was thrilled to have dogs there! Service, food, and atmosphere was AMAZING!!! Would definitely visit again! Shout out to Alfredo! Thank you so much!!

Food was fantastic! Loved the Roja Cauliflower Tacos and Garage Fries!! The chicken burrito, barbacoa tacos, beans and rice were also a hit at our table. And our waiter was great.

I ate here for lunch and my first impression was, this restaurant is in a really cool space! I got the Let Me Talk to your Manager margarita, and it was the most perfect balance of cucumber, lime, jalapeno, and tequila. I ordered the steak tacos with no cilantro. My food came out very fast, but unfortunately giant chunks of cilantro covered my plate. I easily picked the cilantro off, though. The steak was cooked beautifully and tacos tasted amazing. The rice was pretty good, but the beans were quite bland. However, the service was so fast and friendly, and my margarita and tacos were so amazing, I had to go with a 5/5 despite the lackluster beans and unwanted cilantro.

Best tacos ever. The corn dogs were a surprise hit. I could have eaten ten more! Our server, Val, was incredible!

This is a must-do stop on my way to Owego, NY! The cauliflower tacos (original recipe) are AMAZING! The atmosphere is fun and the drinks are delicious. The side salad is so different and delicious. The chips with queso are SO GOOD!! Everyone I have brought here loves this place. My friend ordered the wlote corn dog. I normally stay away from corn dogs, but this one was very good. The taco salad with fried cauliflower was awesome.

I’ve been coming here once in a while over the last several years and I’ve been very impressed lately. It’s never been cleaner and I think the service has greatly improved. We were there during a dinner rush and our server Briana took amazing care of us! We got a surf n turf taco meal, fish taco meal, gluten free chicken quesadilla and a couple margaritas. Everything was delicious and we’ll definitely be making more regular trips back!!

I stumbled upon the Garage Taco Bar while checking out downtown Binghamton and couldn’t have been happier! Monique & Briana served me up three amazing tacos, and they even had a good selection of non alcoholic beer. The place has a cool vibe that’s a converted auto garage with good views of downtown. It’s a clean fun place that’s definitely worth the stop!

All around just a wonderful experience. The owner noticed her waitresses were overwhelmed and came over and brought us water. The wait was extensive but the service completely made up for it and so did the food. Not to mention, the server to tables ratio made it make sense, so me and my partner were patient. The waitress who served us was very kind and cheerful all the while being overwhelmed, she kept her composure and did a fantastic job. The guac was 👌🏻 amazing and so was the queso. Definitely will be returning.

The food was all delicious. The service was interesting. Our server was friendly but I didn't get the same feeling from other staff and servers in the restaurant. I am glad they have outdoor seating, as the indoor space gets LOUD. Even with a light drizzle we were able to sit outside under the umbrella at our table. The fish tacos looked burnt but were PERFECT. Their seasoned fries are so good but a little spicy. I was impressed when my kiddo requested her burger with everything on the side and they delivered without batting an eye! The fries would be amazing as tots too! For anyone old enough to remember mexi nuggets at taco bell... the seasoning on these is spot on nostalgia with a little heat. And no, the waiters/waitresses are not old enough to know this deliciousness.

This was my second time here, but first time eating. I arrived for Open Mic night. Enjoyed margjaritas and my first ever Fish Taco Sandwich. It was fantastic. The fries were thin and dried up, so I didnt have many of those. The service at the bar can take a minute to be noticed, but after you are, it is excellent. The staff os friendly, very helpful, and you barely notice they are there. They blend in with the crowd. Talk about crowds. It was a Tuesday amd The Garage was rocking it all night, indoor and outdoor. The atmosphere is comfortable, and friendly. Once the sun went down, the night and open mic became a more intimate family-like feel. Everyone got along and appreciated each others genres and performances. I rode home from The Garage with a smile on my face and warmth in my soul.

Over a ciuple visits, we've enjoyed both the white and red sangria, the Garage Fries and the Garage nachos, smothered burritos, and FANTASTIC tacos. Shrimp and Fish were my faves. I loved this place! Took me a year to visit for the first time, but I got there. Loved your vibe, loved the fish tacos. Didn't love that we had to wait for the check (server was hanging out in the back - we could see her) but I will definitely be back.

The burrito was delicious! It was enormous and filling. Service was a little slow, but they were really busy so it wasn't that surprising. My fiance and I will definitely be coming here more often!

Awesome place for lunch. I had fish tacos for the first time and they were delicious. My aunt had the chicken quesadilla and we split pile of garbage fries. I am definitely coming back to this place with my boyfriend. He will love the vibe.

Hip college atmosphere with decent food. Food took a long time to come out but our orders were correct. The chorizo meatballs and garage nacho platter were excellent. The steak tacos were perfect. I personally didn't care for what I assume is canned pineapple in the carnitas. My only real gripe is that the tortillas were burnt. Not charred but burnt to the point it over powered the tacos.

Good Food. Moderately priced menu. Limited menu options but most of the options seemed pretty unique and different from traditional taco place. It is nicely located with a lot of parking options available right outside restaurant. The it very lively place but not a whole lot of seating space. Service was also good. $3 Taco Tuesday special was better than what I expected it to be. They have quite a few draft beer options as well. I will visit again and will definitely love to try some other options that I wasn't able to try this time.

Please bring back the pork belly tacos, they were by far my favorite menu item. I know other people who are missing them too. Good atmosphere, good NA cocktail options.

Emma is so awesome! All of the staff on shift when I came for my convention made me and my employee so comfortable, we skipped our function. The food was amazing (I had the loaded fries with chicken) and a margarita. Worth every penny (not expensive at all) and filling. I plan to visit again in the near future.

**Update** 5 of us went for dinner on a Tuesday night at 650. The place wasn't busy at all. 4 other tables occupied. Our drinks came out wrong, our nacho flight came out with the wrong sauces. 4 of us ordered burritos and one ordered tacos. It took an hour and 15 mins after placing our dinner order to receive our meals and the burritos were all cold. Not like warm, cold. Our server was nice and kept apologizing for the wait. This is super disappointing because all of the right flavors and combos are their, the service is just trash. Good food. Service was a little on the slow side for a business day lunch.

The food was good, and the prices were good, but I don't understand why the side salad is $8 and the entre salad is $13 and they are served in the same tray and are completely identical.

Had the fish tacos and didn’t enjoy. It was burnt and mostly batter w/ no fish. My son did enjoy his chicken burrito. Sat outside but wasnt pleasant given all the bees. Looks like a cool spot for college students, but not for for me! On the other hand the service was great!

Garage was once our go to for a night out, treating others to dinner, and drinks at the bar. At one point we'd be there at least once a month or more since they accommodated our needs. During our last visit we found out the restaurant is under new management and it shows. We are now concerned that this restaurant is no longer taking cross contamination seriously so we are limited to just one menu item. Fryers are shared with fish, gluten, and more so please be aware if you have allergies or specialty diets.

We tried the vegetarian tacos. I did not enjoy the tacos as they were tangy and soggy. I wish if the tacos tangy, then the taste could have been elevated a bit Ambience is great though

This was our second time here. First time we ate in and it was great other than slower service. This time we got take out and this is what we had when we got home. So disappointed! Reached out to restaurant and no call back as well as message on Facebook and no response. Maybe here they will pay attention as we had to toss out the dinner. $42.00 for what???? Queso and chips? Was very disappointed it was so inconsistent from visit to visit.

The night started finding a place to eat on a Monday, and ended in disappointment. We walked in and were ignored by staff. When we were finally seated, we ordered our drinks. 20 minutes later, we were told our drinks would be there shortly. The drinks finally arrived. A water and a virgin margarita.... A full hour later, after being told three times that our food would "be out shortly" we were served our food. We watched as door dash order after door dash order was picked up from the restaurant. My fish tacos were underwhelming. Basically 2 fish sticks on a tortilla. The refried beans we were served were extremely salty. The fried cauliflower tacos were not sauced or marinated. From sitting down to leaving was 1 hour and 40 minutes, when we were just looking for a quick bite to eat. I understand that restaurants can be short staffed, and the other reviews on this place feel like we chose a bad night to dine here, but I would be weary to return.

This place used to be amazing. I was super disappointed at how downhill it went. Server was super nice and the drinks were good, but the food is toast. They now put avocado in the fryer so if you’re allergic, anything in the fryer is out. The fish tacos were skinny and basically all breading. The rice was cold and flavorless, and the beans were all salt. Probably the worst Mexican meal I’ve had. They are under new ownership as of last year and I truly hope they make some changes, but we won’t be going back.

Came here to eat while visiting a friend and the experience was unfortunately very disappointing. Not only was the waitress incredibly rude, threw the receipt at us and didn’t speak almost a word to us the entire time…I’m pretty sure the chicken tacos are just canned chicken. If they’re not usually they were when I had them and it was the most disgusting thing I’ve ever eaten. It tasted like canned tuna fish.

Garage Taco is a lively place in a great location, but sadly it has some serious food service/kitchen issues. I placed a takeout order for 3 people, arrived about 25 minutes later (when it was supposed to be ready), but still had to wait another hour for my order. And they weren't even very busy! Adding insult to injury, they seriously screwed up all three orders! To say we were disappointed is a gross understatement. The young woman (Mariana) at the checkout was extremely nice and very apologetic, but unfortunately that didn't fix our disastrous dinner experience.

Have been a customer for many years… ordered take out last night… it was awful. My tacos were soggy and not the same as ever before. My beans and rice tasted burnt, they were disgusting. Took forever to finally get my order. I ordered ahead almost an hour and live nearby.. when I got there 45 minutes after my call, it still wasn’t ready. Counter service was not good. Wasn’t greeted warmly. There were other customers there but there was not an event or a large crowd at the bar. It was bad service and bad food. I used to eat here all the time. Won’t ever be back again. Very very disappointed.
