If you’re not enjoying authentic flavors here, what are you doing? Poblano relleno was tasty- steak added. The salsa was pleasantly spicy and leaned in on the cilantro. Service was friendly and the value unbeatable.

We stopped by for a late lunch and found the place empty. So we sat at the bar. The service was good and food delicious. We’ve been here many times over the years and have found they consistently do a good job in the kitchen. Weather permitting they have some tables outside that we have enjoyed in the past. Beautiful-Soul

The area was lovely. The restaurant had a good vibe however; I did not like where I was seated which was in the back near the bar. The space felt crowded & cramped so I ordered a quick taco salad. My meal was okay. The meat looked delicious & juicy but it was tough and hard to chew. Underneath the protein was cheese, a ton of lettuce, and barely anything else, $18 +’tip.

Mexican food was nothing special, pretty average. The strawberry margaritas tasted like syrup. Chips and salsa were okay, overall 3 star place.

I’m updating my review ( formerly 5 stars)because today’s meal wasn’t up to Mexico Lindo’s previous excellent standard. I’ll probably try again (maybe) but after receiving a truly mediocre almost cold plate of food with tasteless beans and beyond-their-sell-by-date tortillas, I can’t recommend it.

I'll tell ya, we used to eat here quite a bit because of the fun atmosphere, great service that felt authentic and warm and the food matched that same energy. Not sure what happened today. We were seated quite quickly, which ia good. It was about 10-15 minutes later finally got to give out drink orders (water tasted weird) then about another 10 minutes for the standard chips and salsa. It was like we had been forgotten about. We finally brought our drinks, we were ready to order, he just walked away, not sure to where. He finally got out ordern and it came out super fast, however what we got wasn't their best work. He forgot half my order, which was brought out towards the end. In his defense, it looked like was the only doing doing anything, or everything all at once (host, waiter, cook bartender, etc). I'm sure we'll be back and hopefully this was just a "off day' out of the many good days they have

At the suggestion of my sister we decided to eat here. Upon entering, the place was almost empty and it was early on a Friday night which should have been a clue that either the food or drinks were not good. The grilled chicken on the nachos had no seasoning on it which took away from the rest of the dish.

Not the best. Steak on the nachos was not tender and was very chewy. They put refried beans on the nachos. I like refied beans, but they really covered the nachos with them. It's just way too much. Service was just ok. Nothing worth noting. The one good thing was the salsa. Very flavorful and has a good kick to it.

Nice decor, average Mexican restaurant food, my fajitas was not hot and steamy as it suppose to be, frozen margarita taste less. Good salsa, slow service.

Horrible service. Server had a bad attitude was rude. We sit down know one comes over to ask what we want to drink after about 10 minutes someone came and just gave us water and then we had to ask what we actually wanted to drink. Know one ended up coming to ask us what we wanted to eat or check up on us when servers were going around the other tables beside us asking how there food was. Ended up just leaving very weird environment felt very uncomfortable.

I worked in Mountain Brook Village about five years ago and came here almost every single week for happy hour and dinner… I don’t know what happened to this place! It was absolutely deserted at 5:30pm which was very odd. It felt unclean and grungy. We had to flag down our waiter to get more chips and drinks several times. The guacamole was probably squeezed out of a bag and the queso tasted like the jarred stuff you get from the chip aisle at the grocery store. The chips were stale and cold- salsa was good though! My friend and I were planning to eat dinner there, but decided against actually ordering food because the chips and trio were so bad.

We were able to sit down quickly and enjoy some very good chips and salsa. The service was not great. Our waiter maybe came over to us a handful of times, and that was after we had to wave him down a couple of those. Food was decent, I had undercooked food and got sick later that evening along with 2 others in our party.
