Avis sur Taco Bell Bishop
Clean, fast, and friendly. They were easily able to modify my order to make it vegan and it came out great.
This is California. So you know this is going to be that authentic Mexican Food. None of that "Taco Shop" nonsense, because these tacos don't need fixin'. Come here to experience what the food has been like in this region for a millennia or more.
I used the kiosk to order, and it was more efficient at this Taco Bell than Tehachapi and Bakersfield.
I understand that technology is taking over, but when the employees get annoyed with you because you are paying cash and can't use the kiosk is overwhelming. Very rude staff.
I Haven't had Taco Bell in about 2 years... Not by choice. Just haven't been able to go two hours away for it. But I finally did, and it was worth it.
Coming home from Tahoe, stopped here to get a bite. The person taking my order was fine, friendly, prompt. He had my drink ready when I got to the window, he went back to get food. Then an older gentleman comes to window and asks if I need anything else. I replied, yes my food ... I only got my drink. I was there less than a minute or maybe a minute waiting. Right behind him the other guy, that took my order, comes up and hands me my food. Older guy had a "oh my" look on his face. It was funny.
Got the new Spicy Double Chicken Grilled Burrito and it was gigantic! I was presently surprised, I'm used to burritos half the size from Taco Bell. I couldn't even finish it. Very tasty too. The Bishop location was quiet and mainly relies on self automated ordering, but a staff member will take your order of you need. I'm a bit torn on the self ordering, it's great to see all the different options, but can also be a bit overwhelming. Plus I like to pay with cash usually and the self check out only takes electronic currency.
Hiker friendly, the staff here are very down to earth people. We have been sitting here for a free hours as we search for a hotel and the staff have been friendly and not rude about us being here. Food is Taco Bell, you get what you order but the atmosphere is nice and quiet and we feel almost as welcome here as we feel on the trail. Deep into the food coma, it is a nice place to sit and charge your stuff.
I was short on my total and the gentleman at the window paid for my order without me asking. A very nice surprise. One of which I am extremely thankful for. This happened today at 10:20ish. Very kind of him, give him a raise
Haven't eaten at Taco Bell for a long time, the chicken bowl was excellent.
I really like taco bell, but I may have to stop going to taco bell, your self service kiosks is a pain, we travel all over United states and some times we are towing a trailer, need to walk in, I've seen lots of people walk in and out. Today I had to key in my order for 3 people twice, it kicked out my order , manager had to come out and assist. Would of been faster if she would of taken my order. Taco bell your prices go up and we have to self service, not a happy customer 👎
Traveling and wanted to eat inside. No cashier, you have to order via the screen. It presents many more options than I was used to, and too many screens to finish. However, they haven’t raised prices, so I can live with the automation. Oh, same great food.
One of only two Taco Bell locations that still server their chili cheese burritos. Bishop and San Jose, those are the only 2 locations left in California. I dont know why it was removed from the menu, as it was one of my favorite items. But this location was very clean, and the staff very nice and helpful. It was busy when I arrived as it is on a highway that is heavily trafficked with people from LA heading upto Mammoth.
I received the best service I've received at any Taco Bell here. The ladies working in the back during the night shift are great. My entire order was prepared correctly as well -- something you can't always say of a busy TB.
Was pretty good. The food was built perfect and nothing was wrong thankfully. The weirdos behind the counter in the house lace was a bit strange. They acted like it was 2020 with all the masks and all the restrictions from the key to restroom. They won’t put out sauce packets in the tray lol it’s 2023 people! But I understand this is Northern California 🤦♂️
This taco bell has about 2 year runs of being good and then y It goes down hill. Right now it's on par for taco bell fast food. Too bad you can't find inside. Covid BS
Clean, pretty tasty, most of the cashiers are pretty nice. Terrible seating arrangement, but good food. Only downside is that T'Bell has been raising their prices in weird ways lately.
If you've ate @ 1 taco bell you've ate @ every taco bell. I order an number 8. Three taco with a soda. Pleasant meal & I didn't have 2 raise a finger. I DON'T eat fast good very often, (I'm a pretty good cook) but this is the trout opener? (last Saturday in April) sooooo wth 😳. See-ya
Yes, the one place I actually visited (drive-thru). Love the food, love the cost, REALLY starting to love the menu. Taco Bell has come a long way in my book..............I will be back, oh yes I will be back (soon)!!! Lol
It has been good every time I have gone. Every once in a while they will skimp on the portions but that is mildly rare. LOVE the chicken quesarito, can't get enough of them. Seems pretty clean and pretty well run.
I give it four stars because they have a kiosk that they never keep clean and it's always greasy dirty with fingerprints. Plus the surfaces contaminated with bacteria germs and who knows what else from people's body parts. So I always use the drive-thru. Not touching a filthy kiosk.
I was surprised that there wasn't a long line. I ordered 2 Crunchy Tacos. 2 Cheesy Roll-ups and 1 Crunch Wrap. By the time I drove around from the building, they already had the order ready. The order was correct and I was very pleased
The food was okay. The Pepsi machine was sticky and the restaurant needed a good cleaning. They even has a note at the registers that they do not have a cashier and that you have to order through the self servicer terminal and even one of those was broken. This location needs some help and 4 stars was generous.
It was very busy even if it was off hours. The drive thru is hard to get to because it's so close to the main road. I think these things are what made the food a little less than stellar. The chicken burritos were oddly folded. It didn't impact the taste mind you. It still tasted good as taco bell does. The people were nice just a little frazzled.
It was ok customer service was good didn't wow me but it's taco bell what do you expect who want to work in a fast food place and they over 30
The service was ok. The quality of the food was slightly inferior to others (taste & temperature). They also had the cinnabon bites which others don't have (which were also just ok).
Food was good but you have to place your order on a large tablet. With no instructions. Thank goodness a worker there help us otherwise we would have walked out.
It was ok. I don't expect much from Taco Bell, they were a little slow and didn't seem to care about the customer.
Sometimes the tacos and burritos are good and full. Other times they are small with barely any filling and the order is incorrect. Never know which until after you get home. Then it's too late. You know that line Joe Pesci has, in Goodfellas, about what they do to you at the drive thru. More times than not they get it right.
The kid who gave us out food had quite the attitude and when we pointed out he forgot one of our drinks he overfilled it, dumped it and then gave us a sticky cup that was under filled When I came inside to get a couple of items that we forgot to order they were fine tho
Friendly staff and accurate order , would of been four stars but due to amount of questionable clientele they lost a star . It is located In same parking lot as the county health and human services thus attracting some questionable customers. Perhaps providing some one site security would be a good idea.
Hmm, what can I say that you don't know already. American-ized Mexican food.
The gentleman that work the night shift are so kind and so helpful. Warning! Spend $80 on food taco bell is not what it used to be! Can eat real food down the street for the same cost
It is a Taco Bell, did finally get to try Taco Bell breakfast burritos, not bad
It's taco bell, it's good. I don't eat there often but when I do it does the job. Fast service, food is as expected, there wasn't any long lines, but a few times they got my order completely wrong and then tried to tell me thats not what I ordered, even tho I knew exactly what I ordered. I even told them again at the drive thru window and the lady just kind of ignored me and gave me another freeze that was still not the right one. I ended up just saying screw it and took my food and the freeze they gave me and went back to work.
The food was well made and served quickly. The restaurant and staff however are lacking in several areas. Doors broken, machines broken, the building in disrepair, the sauces are not left out, bathrooms left locked. The staff ignored us for a few minutes and walked by like we weren’t there and when they did acknowledge us they weren’t very friendly.
Tortillas stale, cheese not melted. Order wrong two of last three times. Apparently little or no supervision.
Ordered the new cheesy gordita what got was no cheese way too much sour cream. I asked for mild taco sauce got fire only. Doubt I'll return.
Order your own food. Half the staff on break or walking around. Cheap on hot sauce.
This place isnt the same way to slow. Young kids working who are not friendly. And not being manged at all vause they mess around with the kids. Bad language always being used. And they dont care about customers.
Food was good and service was a little slow. What gets me is why are they so tight with the taco sauce. They count out every one and you only get one napkin for each item. Four tacos four napkins!
They didn’t have baja blast freeze.
Taco Bell uses the order taker/cashier to also clean the dining room food. When the lunch time crowd arrives, the cashier never has time to clean the tables, take out over- burdened trash bags nor clean the floors. Over flowing trash barrels make sanitations conditions in the dining room unsanitary because of customers walking through the trash tracking the food around on the floor that is stuck to their shoes. Eating at filthy tables is not only unhealhty but also unappealling to the appetite. The better fast food restrurants have separate dining room cleaning help that can address the cleanliness on an ongoining basis making the dining room a more healthy and appealing place to eat. Unfortunately, most fast food eateries don't have seprate dining room cleaning help. We try and not eat in those unclean places for health reasons. **
I went to the drive-thru and even ordered a hot sauce at the menu and the guy handed me the food and said I promise I put the hot sauce in the bag there was no hot sauce in the bag and no napkins and he told me I can't fill up your water you go inside and do it you smell
Took along time while the drive thru member had a heart to heart conversation with a family member in line in front of me. It was about 5 minutes after they got there food they drove off. Yet my food wasn't ready still.
Taco Bell HQ has made it pretty difficult to screw up an order, but the crew at this establishment pulled it off anyway. I used the app to order, walked inside to pick up my order, and sat there for 10 minutes while the app said that the order was being filled, all while my order was sitting on the counter, in abag, getting cold. Don't order on the app for this store.
It's a very dirty Taco Bell. Window sills are full of grime and drit grit. Food was ok. Parking is great for a RV
Ok, people. Stop with forcing us to use the time wasting order kiosk. We and many people we know have a policy of walking out if you force us to order on the lobby kiosk. If you can’t provide a person to take our order we will just leave. Especially insulting when you put a printed sign saying you don’t have staff to take orders. Good bye, off we go to a real restaurant. This review is for the Bishop, CA location
It was dirty, and the food tasted like it had been sitting under a heat lamp all day burrito tortilla was had lettuce brown and warm cheese . My husband went to use the restroom as we were traveling while I went through the drive thru. He came back and had to wait for the receipt that comes with your food to get a code that opens the bathroom . So no potty breaks here you have to purchase food not worth buying before you can.
Food was great but the lack of customer service from the workers; the place was not clean at all. Notice the workers would completely ignore customers when they’d ask them a question. Good thing we were just passing through. Would not recommend again
I mean the food was decent, just like any other Taco Bell. But my fries with my nacho fries were cold. Also I've never in my life seen a restaurant where I had to ask the staff for a numeric passcode to get into the restroom...
Can't stand ordering on a self ordering kiosk. No personal contact or service. I've been trying to avoid such kiosks but it seems Taco bells are slowly all going this route. Dell Taco here I come!
A sign says "No cashier available use kiosk" and then one of two kiosks was broken. So I waited for the people in front of me to figure out how to use the kiosk. One guy after me couldn't figure out how to use it so he tried to get an employee to help him but was mostly ignored. Want taco sauce? You have to ask. The containers are empty. Food was fine - meaning standard taco bell food.
"Please use side door," goes to side door and its locked, rude employee approaches to yell through door that their dinning room is closed. Order on app, go through drive thru, another incredibly rude employee serves us our meal. Food is what you expect at Taco Bell at least. Try hiring people who could at least act nice?
Very bad service, guacamole tasted like it was chemic or not fresh any more, chicken taisted burned and was black at one side, and when we asked something, well let's say; not the customer but the people who are working here are always right. Not going back here, and I will not reccomand this place as well. Taco Bell is one of my favorite places to eat, but absolutely not this one!
Pretty mediocre experience overall. The new cantina chicken tacos are a real rip off. They taste pretty good, but The standard hard taco shell only contains a tiny portion of actual meat... Maybe the size of my thumb. Two of these, some chips, and a drink for $10 is ridiculous. What a rip off.
It used to be my favorite place to eat. Service is very slow.when it first opened it wasn't a wait time at all.an the people that worked there used to be very friendly not anymore! They are rude!!
If u stop here go on the drive thru service inside is horrible I order a combo and they prefer the window i wait almost 20 minutes

This place sucks in customer service. My boyfriend and I went in to get something and stood there for 5 minutes while the employees stood around in the back talking and doing nothing. Several of the employees looked at us and finally acknowledged that we were there when I asked if someone could take our order. By then we were so fed up that we left. These people need to learn customer service because it is absolutely ridiculous.
Taco bell isn't what it used to be. Now it's just gross and expensive. Bean burrito was my broke hack in college days.
Not great service. Had a difficult time getting the order correct. Needed more than 4 hot sauce packets, as we bought 5 items... Not courteous. Need to have server say, "thank you", or "have a nice day..."
They uck make up there own rules on how to serve people made be come in to complete my order for my family cause they only sell so many boxes through the drive thru they are lucky this is a small town and there are no other taco bells close to go to. They are very slow and the manager only would only take to me on there time like my time in her store was not important I have had a problem with them the last few time I have gone witch use to be a few times a week now I would rather grab a hot dog from a gas station at least they are nice and don't make up rules to make there job easy
Taco Bell is known to be vegetarian friendly, but today they refused to make a black bean Gordita, something I’ve order at MANY MANY Taco Bell’s. They said they could do refried beans, when I said that’s not vegetarian she just said she couldn’t do black. I asked why? Nothing. I then said are you just too lazy to deal with the mess (which if you drain the liquid is NO MESSIER than refried) and LAURA SAID YES! It’s not hard or impossible and it let me know this location gives zero care and zero effort, and zero desire to cater to a larger clientele like vegetarians.
It's Taco Bell...Never great but cheap and ok. You have to use a dirty touch screen to order there is no clerk to help you. One of the ordering kiosks is broken and it takes forever to navigate your order and Pay.
Noone acknowledged our presence. Everone working ignored us, used kiosk to order, but they forgot coffees.
The service people were rude. There were several elderly people there that did not know how to use the computer because now they say they do not have a cashier which is ridiculous.
Pulled into this Taco Bell at 5/26/19 10:40 PM, lights off, open sign off. Employees running around inside, cooking food. What's the deal. Advertised as open until midnight. Not cool messing with someone's 4th meal
The will sell you the taco pass but resent if you use it. The prepaid tacos are not the same as the full price tacos. I walked out over a year ago because the manager scolded the people ahead of me.
Very rude. Closed early and wouldn’t talk with me when I tried to order.
I literally waited in line at the drive thru for over 30 minutes. An older Caucasian lady didn't even apologize for the long wait. Worst experience ever. They need to get that store organized.
Bad service ever. they wouldn't even help us order
No customer service here! Have to use kiosk to order. I wanted a fork but no one would even look at me even though I asked loudly. Finally someone gave me one but it seemed like it was an I.position
The manager on the drive thru was very rude, disrespectful, and I think she is men**lly *** (I am saying this because she was so mean and rude). Would never recommend this location. She treat her employees like slaves.
Besides they barely warmed torts (the wife's crunchwrap had GREAT toasted tort!), SKIMP items on the inside of the item... But SODIUM?? Way too much... or diabetic options for the wife! TOO much to dive into while driving!!
You'll wait longer than a sit-down restaurant. I waited literally 23 minutes for $7 worth of food. All the other customers were getting upset, too. "This is ridiculous let's get a refund" I heard one couple say. And the place is DIRTY! Every single table was gross. Soda machine broken. Ordering kiosk broken, etc. As bad as a fast food experience can get.
Horrible customer service. Lady said there pos machine was down, then help take a $40 order for there co worker. Acted like they didn't have anyone to help cashier, when I counted 7 employees. Smelled like bad breath when I walked in. This is the first time I've complained ever with fast food
Had to order 15 items for a large family, after ensuring us that all 15 Items were present we drove to our families home only to find that we were in fact missing food for family members. Had to drive back to the store to pick up the missing food. Upon entering the restaurant the kitchen staff all started giving me dirty looks. It was not my fault you forgot our paid for food! I do not usually eat at fast food restaurants, this is one reason why.
They refused to take our order. Told us we had to use the kiosk. I needed to customize an item and it is difficult to do on the kiosk. Not happy.
I generally enjoy the basic tostada at Taco Bell and go there often. Last two times I have have been totally dissatisfied and very dissapointed. Last time, I found a rather large piece of plastic in their cheese sauce and took it to the staff asking her to show it to the manager and have him/her get back to me. Ten or so minutes passed by and nothing happened so I went back to the counter and she had thrown the evidence away without even informing the manager! Eventually, the manager gave the standard lukewarm apology with an offer for more food. I had already lost my appetite by this herrendous experience and lack of concern by the staff. I requested to the manager that she contact the regional manager or someone higher to get in touch with me and gave all my contact information. She lamely said, he may not be here for a few days so I insisted she call him/her (regional manager) tomorrow morning to convey my concerns. She assured me that she would. I have yet to hear from anyone in over two weeks. Shame on the staff and the store manager or the owner of Bishop, CA Taco Bell for zero follow-up or any concern for safety of your food! I look forward to speaking with the specific owner or anyone from Corporate HQ in Customer Relations or Product Safety and Quality to contact me.
I’m not usually open to write bad reviews but this location rubbed me the wrong way. I like hot sauce. And a lot of it. (Well, like 2 per order.) This place refused to give me whet I asked for. AFTER, I ordered nachos, left everything off but cheese, & charged me for jalapeños. I didnt feel like arguing about how they technically shouldn’t have charged for substitute toppings. but seriously? The world is a ghost town right now. Be cool to the customers you do have.
Worst service. It wouldn‘t let me order from the app. so we had to order at the drive through. It turnned out they jacked up the price to almost double from ordering with the App. Asked the manger why the app price is cheaper? She just said that‘s the way it is..... so I cancel the order and she literally cursed me and shut the window....
This was the dirtiest place I've ever been. The food was poorly made, the bathroom had toilet paper everywhere. Their was a drain in the middle of the bathroom that was just full of muck. Family next to us spilled their drink, moved tables, and when the employee saw the mess, he went to the back and never returned to clean it. We ended up only eating half of our order before we left and tossed the rest out.
young Gentlemen let me in and said dine in was closed but I can order for take out. Cook or manager came out and started yelling at the kid for letting us in and asked us to leave. I explained I was pulling a 30 ft trailer and he said it was not his fault and asked my son and I to leave. So rude and the way he talked ti the young kid was inappropriate. This happened at 11:00 am Definitely do not recommend this place.
The worst Taco Bell I've visited. They ridiculously deprioritize anyone who orders in their lobby -- after placing a mobile order, it took around 20 minutes to get my food. The spicy potato taco was very overcooked and almost inedible. Crunchwrap supreme tasted absolutely awful. I also ordered a veggie power bowl and it is the absolute worst "bang for the buck" in the food universe. $8 for a tablespoon of beans and three tablespoons of rice. Go anywhere else. Employees were nice though.
The food is taco bell lol. But dont come here unless you wanna be greeted w overstimulated, overworked workers who will treat you like garbage and do anything they can to argue w you. We got our cups tossed at us, and told to order at the kiosk instead of the register even tho someone was there.
Possibly the worst Taco Bell I've ever visited. Sloppy, dirty, order machine out of order. Go to the counter and you're invisible. Do they train these peeps to ignore customers dumb enough to try to ask a question? It was so bad I cringe now every time I see a Taco Bell. Maybe a long time before I return to any Taco Bell. And those inane Pete Davidson commercials don't ingratiate.
Rude service. They added an extra item to our order and we asked them to repeat it to double check. The cashier gave us a sassy reply when we asked and rushed us to the window. She told us to move along after getting the order and we told her we just wanted to check what we got because of our problem while ordering then she slammed the window closed.
was missing an item from my order, spoke with someone after calling the phone number listed on my receipt the person I spoke with said he would check the cameras and immediately hung up I tried calling ten more times with no answer, forcing me to drive back and the staff confirmed the number is a direct line to their store (028232). I then repeatedly asked to speak with the person who answered the phone and the staff tells me they don't who answers the phone. They then threatened to call the police because I asked for a refund on the ONE item I didn't receive in my order. I received everything else and did not expect a refund for those items. I told them I was more than happy to wait for the police to arrive, but they didn't -- likely for a lack of a justified reason.
I just went through the drive through at 8 and I asked for the donut delights and when I was done paying I ate one and it was cold. I was not satisfied. Also and yesterday when I went through it was open and the girl said “Sorry we aren’t open right now”. My husband said well you sign says open and she said “No it’s not”. And kept saying that over and over again. She was rude and had a lot of attitude. I will not be back there!
My husband and I both got takeout from Taco Bell tonight. we both ordered Mexican pizzas and the ingredients tasted so stale and sour neither one of us could finish our meal. I didn't even make it through one piece of pizza. it was awful. I typed in my email address for a receipt at the kiosk but never received it.
Do not trust the hours here. Do not patiently wait 15 minutes for them to open to patronize this business and use the bathroom. The guy working who speaks hardly any English will not allow you in during normal business hours to use the bathroom and will provide you the skimpiest tacos not only wasting your time, but also your money.
We were very disappointed with our order. The quantity of beans, rice, and other fillings was extremely insufficient — it was mostly just tortilla with very little inside. When we brought this to the manager's attention, she responded unprofessionally and argued instead of trying to resolve the issue. Overall, not a good experience.
9/10 times I go thru the drive thru the screw up my order forget something or give me the wrong thing
Ridiculous. Spend 50 dollars on food and can't get a cup of ice for our water bottle while we're traveling. We've come to this location every year while traveling between Cali and Nevada, but what's the point if they treat you like a thief for asking for ice? Food taste can't fix bad service..
Very poor customer service rude…disrespectful…..they don’t take cash on the inside……only in the drive thru…….no sign telling you on the inside you place your order for cash inside they don’t even acknowledge it that the system is down in the inside to let you know the customer that you’re gonna be sitting there waiting for your food and no one‘s gonna tell you when you go and you ask them you’re very rude. They’re more interested in goofing around and taking care of the drive-through than they are taking care of the walk-in customers. The gentleman that I spoke to was very rude and got mad at me when I said that I was there trying to pay cash and nobody came up to me and told me that they don’t take cash on the inside. They don’t have a cashier, but they have a cashier at the drive-through. This doesn’t make any sense. I will not be returning to the Del taco and I just moved to the area very poor customer service recommend staying away from this taco Bell…….
Horrible customer service. 6 people working, not one person came to take our order. Waited 9 minutes before anybody talked to us. Then the manager gave us a huge attitude and told us to drive thru, but our truck wouldn't allow this option. Very sad to feel like I did something wrong when all we were doing was trying to order food. Unfriendly, unprofessional, not recommended.
Dined in, ordered not at the kiosk but with a worker at the register. Waited for 15-20 minutes while we watched other people get their orders and drive thru serve 5+ vehicles. Only for us to ask about our food and receive a “we don’t have that order what did you order?” A special needs customer came in and said “excuse me” probably 10 times before someone acknowledged him. They told him to order at the kiosk and he let them know it’s too hard for him, they are SO inconvenienced to do anything. To top it off our order was wrong, even though the receipt they reprinted had our correct order. Maybe drive thru is a better experience. Wouldn’t recommend dining in.
I stood at the counter for ten minutes waiting to be helped. As I was looking around while waiting, I saw a kiosk behind a wall. So I started to put my order in. Meanwhile, two older guys walk in, and suddenly their are two employees at the counter asking to help them. When a manager came to the counter, I said she should put a sign up to use the kiosk and she they could not do that. She was rude and very sharp with me. This is what we get from a $20 per hour employee who does not have to offer any customer service.
