I sat at the bar and my bartender was amazing, she got me, plenty of napkins, utensils, and everything I needed without me having to ask, she checked on my often, even when it was busy and she was tending the bar by herself. drinks are delicious and good portions. food came out quick. other people at the bar was respectful

Applebee's in Largo left me with a much better experience than the one on Donnell Drive. Donnell Drive location, seated us after a little wait at about 10:30 at night. The place wasn't busy at all. 2 additional younger patrons came in and was served before us. We still waited another 10 minutes before choosing to exit. Went to Largo, the vibe and atmosphere was nice. We were seated by the manager almost immediately. The experience was very appreciative after the first experience. The food was good. I had appetizers. They were out of soup, but it was fine considering the hour. The riblets were good too.

Great service and food here. I came here at 11 for lunch and everything was on point. The place was staffed well and the location was spotless. Ribs, fries, drinks and mozzarella sticks were cooked perfectly. Everyone from the manager to the bartenders came out to greet and service us. Before last week, I hadn't been to Applebee's in years!! It was a last-minute decision for my family off the late night. It was close to where we were for my cousin's event, so we decided to go. We were a party of 13. With a group with very specific requests, our waitress got it right! She was a real Rockstar. Positive attitude, very attentive, and quick. The chef messed up on order, and she got right on it. She made great recommendations for meals and drinks. The restaurant was crowded with regulars or a social club or something. But that didn't matter. Our food came out quick. I was shocked. With the restaurant being as crowded as it was, I thought it was gonna take a long time to get our food. But I was impressed. They had a good late night half-price menu, which included some Blue drink that was ok. I didn't really taste the alcohol. But those chicken wontons are my fav!!! Highly recommend those. It was overall a good dining experience. I would go back again for the chicken wontons!!

I ordered through Door Dash Chicken Wonton Tacos first time ordering this and it was pretty good. I know someone will see the pictures and say he ain't put nothing on them and that's correct no Coleslaw no cilantro no lime wedge. Just the sweet Asian Chile sauce which was quite good. I would definitely order them again.

Me and my lady friend went to Apple 🍎 bees for some lunch and drinks. We were pleasantly surprised about the food and the service at this location. The restaurant was basically empty so service was fast and attentive which we both appreciated. The drinks and appetizers(Spinach Dip/Boneless Buffalo Wings)arrived quickly and both were hot and delicious. The entrees arrived shortly afterwards and I must say the food was hot and delicious as well. My only Real Complaint was a gentleman at the bar became drunk, rude and unpleasant to other patrons which kinda dampened the ambiance but other than that we Truly Enjoyed Ourselves and will Definitely be back in the near future!!!

Great staff and ambiance. The food and speed of service were ok. We went to watch a game. The bartender was good, but she was overloaded with work. We were sat in a place that had dirty dishes and it took a while before they were removed, we were given menus after the dishes were removed, and when the food finally arrived - it was lukewarm at best. The staff were really nice and the ambiance was a lot of fun.

Staff is friendly, everything is clean, and great variety of food. The appetizers and main course came really quickly. I ordered the Bourbon Street Chicken and Shrimp; I didn't like the onions in the dish but everything else was good. What disgusted me has nothing to do with the staff. It's the fact that I saw a lot of young men coming in the place with pants hanging below their behinds! Nasty! Employees needs to enforce this! If I was a manager, I wouldn't allow this!

It's customer service is worth returning for but the place looks the same as it did when it was built. Cheap drinks and decent food if u want something quick. I will return because it's very convenient and very chill.

Overall, my experience was pleasant!! Our server was very friendly, but very busy; THANKS to Manager (Keith) who stepped in and ensured that our table was well taken care of as well as providing courteous and friendly customer service!!

There's always something that makes the experience less than 5 stars at this location. In the past, loud, drunk people at the bar, someone playing the same song 5 times in a row, kids running in the aisle or some other nonsense kept me from visiting frequently. With my most recent visit, I ordered an all you can eat special that includes unlimited fries. They didn't have fries that day so I asked what they were substituting. I shouldn't have had to ask. That should have been part of the information included when I got the no fries announcement. The kitchen was a bit slow getting my refill portions. The waitress took my refill order seconds after a couple in the booth behind me ordered. They got their food, ate, paid and left before I got my plate of 5 fried shrimp. A couple that was seated at the same time as the couple behind me was still waiting for food after I after I paid my bill and left. The other problem with this location is the thick crud accumulation in the bathrooms. The base of the leaky toilets, faucets and backsplash lets you know the bathroom doesn't get more than a wipe down. I doubt that the kitchen is cleaned any better than the bathroom so I won't be returning to this location.

My table was sticky. The food was just ok. I expected it to be better. My server was nice and friendly, but she went missing for a while.

They were short handed but our waiter was still pretty attentive. Food was mediocre, basic bar food.

The take out order section had a water leak from the ceiling by the counter. Hopefully it was resolved, if not that would be careless.

This place has been around for a long time and it looks the same(not a bad thing), the service can be 50/50. This time though was pretty good, the service was great and the food was pretty good. I got the bourbon chicken and shrimp, I also had the electric long island to go with it. The long island surprised me a lil bit...it was pretty good.

Applebees! 😤 I’m a grown man! I love the chain but this is ridiculous! Is this a kids meal? The 4cheese pasta had zero flavor tonight. Maybe it’s this location!

They were short staffed so there was a wait. I ordered the Bourbon Street burger, the cheese was barely melted. The fries were just warm. The meal was not worth the 17.00 it cost. I must say, our server was very good.

The food was ok. We had a young male waiter who was so unprofessional, rude, and unpleasant. He definitely doesn't need to come to work with the attitude he had. We spoke with the manager, and I hope he talks with him. The young lady who wasn't our waitress was excellent she had to bring us containers and take our bill to the manager to close out because the young man never came back with containers nor our check after we asked for both.

I took my Father out to eat last Saturday. The food was good in all. First when we got there, we had to wait 20 minutes. After our 20 minutes were up. The waiter sat us down at our booth. It took them a while to wait on us. The service was just too slow. Our waitress was nice. I like the fact that she checked on us from time to time asking how is the food. Please if you all can clean the bathroom, that would be great. It was toilet paper every where.

I had the chicken parmesan and the pasta was good. The tomato sauce on the chicken had a strong bitter taste. I also ordered a brownie which was so tiny and the ice cream was one tablespoon. You can get a bigger and better tasting brownie at panera bread and starbucks.

They need help. Not enough servers or bartenders. 2 servers and one bartender is never good for a Friday night. I would advise it be a no phone rule especially when it's packed and customers can see you. The food was good. Drink mediocre which was due to them running out of liquor before closing.

I went on a date at Applebee’s and it was OK. The atmosphere was good but I feel like the staff was a little bit lacking the food took a long time to come out. I asked for a medium burger the burger came out medium rare I mean really rare. The fries were good though the best thing about the night was the drinks if you come here just for the bar, drinks and little appetizers, you should be fine.

I would not recommend the Happy hour drinks here. The price might be a little cheaper but having a basic drink would cost an extra $12 for a shot so altogether you will come out paying more than $20 for just a happy hour drink that’s made decently. The server was good, but the drinks that were made were horrible. The food was pretty good. But the drinks were terrible , I would not be coming back here. The only good thing is that the manager took off some $$ off the bill because the service was so mediocre.

Came in at 5:30 was told it would be a 15-20 minute wait. Gave my number to be called/texted when the table was ready. At 6:25 went to check on the status. The lady told us 5 min while the booth was being wiped down. A group of 4 young men came in while we were waiting for the table. She told them 15-20 min but when the table was done being wiped they were seated at the booth that was meant for us. Not only that another family who has also been told 15-20 had been seated right after the young men. We were finally seated somewhere other than a booth like we asked for at 6:45. It is 7:07 and we are waiting for our food. The young lady did not apologize for her mistake but instead gave attitude like we did something wrong. Our server is much nicer and taking our frustration into consideration. Please have more people like the server seating people. A simple acknowledgement of the mistake would have been much better than an attitude and ignoring us like we're not paying customers. Please do better. Hopefully the food will be worth the wait.... came back to edit since we finally got our food... couldnt enjoy my food because of the seating people bumping me as they walked by. The service was slow but the waitress did have a lot of tables. Been waiting for the check for.about 15 min. If you don't have a life and have time to waste by All means come here.

We came in and were sat rapidly. So far so good. After about 15 to 20 minutes of nothing happening, a manager stopped by and immediately got a waiter over. James was nice and respectful. Got waters for us and took our orders. About 10 minutes later, the waitress who was evidently supposed to be ours stopped by to see what she could do for us. We told her the manager had sent over James. After what seemed like quite a long time, the food finally arrived. Mine was good. The wife's chicken was tough. At no point did either James or the other person stop by to check on us. When we got done, we had seen an option online to pay right there so as to not wait for another person to come over. That did not work in any way. We had to flag the manager down again to pay for our meal. This was a poor experience overall and even if we are back in this area which is unlikely, we won't be coming back to this place. The manager, who we found out was 2 days into the job, has her work cut out for her!

The hostess Kay was rude and inattentive. We waited ten minutes while the staff discussed staffing issues. The tap beer is always broken in my opinion to maximize profits. I won't come back here. And the happy hour long island iced tea is a fraud.

Every time I place an order on DoorDash they constantly mess my order up and give me what they think I want but not what I paid for

The Forestville Applebee's sucks. Placed an order to go and after waiting 30 minutes for it when I got home the order was missing one side order. I noticed the kitchen help was so busy playing around. The ribs were dry and charred. Called the store several times and was told they were busy and to call back. The worst restaurant ever.

We're from out of town, so we figured Applebee's would be a well-known establishment to eat at. When we arrived, there was plenty of seating in the restaurant, about half full. We stood at the host station for several minutes before we saw one of the either waitresses or Hostess walk up to us roll her eyes grab a menu and walk back into the restaurant without even acknowledging us then another gentleman came up to us and did find us a seat. After several more minutes of sitting there and not getting attended again, even just to get a drink order in a restaurant that was only half full. We decided to go elsewhere. I could not rate the food there because, unfortunately, we walked out and did not eat at this particular Applebee's although Applebee's food is usually decent. And as for the atmosphere, it was your typical Applebee's

Normally, Applebee's would be a go to place, and it's possible, and I hope, that our experience this time was just an anomaly since it was a busy Friday. It took a while to be seated, but there were several open tables. Our waitress came by several minutes after we were seated and gave us our menus and asked what we'd like to drink. I asked for her and she named Sam Adams, which I accepted. She asked whether it like it in the bottle or on tap. On tap, of course. She then left for quite a long time. When she returned, she said they didn't have Sam Adams on tap -I took the bottle. We ordered an appetizer (Brew Pub pretzels and beer cheese dip) and our meals - salmon for my spouse and a burger for me. The waitress came back and said they were out of the beer cheese dip, so we declined the appetizers. It took about 40 minutes to get our meals. When we received them, my spouse asked for silverware, which we didn't receive. The waitress came back with packages of plastic knives, forks, and spoons and asked if plastic was alright. I didn't think there was a choice, especially since my spouse's meal could not really be eaten without utensils. "This is Applebee's, right?" The meals were good - no complaint there.

My waiter was great. He was attentive, and he did what he could with the amount of customers he had. I’m not an Applebees fan, but my mom is, that’s why we were there. The bartender had a bonnet on, and was cursing loudly when the customers. My biggest problem was the bathroom. Dirt and unsanitary. To make it so bad, there was a worker in there when I went. So she saw all of this!

My first visit to Applebee's was at this location just a ten-minute drive from my home in Southeast Washington, D.C. This location is near the Penn Mar shopping area and one of several restaurants to pick from. My wife, toddler, friend, and I walked in on a random Wednesday evening and only had to wait five minutes before a booth was ready for us. Our server was fantastic. She came right away and made recommendations off the large menu. To eat, I ordered the parmesan sirloin steak and shrimp dish that comes with two sides (I ordered garlic mashed potatoes and cheesy broccoli). It wasn't bad and at a pretty cheap price too. Also for just a few dollars, I ordered the white peach sangria made from Moscato. It was a generous pour and sweet as heck (I'm not complaining). The restaurant itself wasn't kept super clean, but it wasn't bad either. I wouldn't come here regularly, but for my first Applebee's experience, it was better than a one star.

Service was very slow. Table was dirty upon sitting down. No utensils or napkins were provided. Had to ask, and when we did receive we only got 1 napkin for 2 people!! We received the food without utensils, had wait a while to receive them. Also the portion size seemed very small.

We ordered steaks. They were all grizzle and to tough to eat. The mashed potatoes were watered down and the broccoli was n5not steamed but completely raw. We reordered ribs that tasted pretty good but were totally bone with no meat. The manager acted like she didn't know what to do. We waited for about 25 minutes to reorder. There was no compensation made for the horrific experience. The menu changed from my last visit a month prior. I will probably not go back.

Our waitress Michai (not sure how she spells it) was excellent. However, the first water they bought me out the cup was FILTHY, had some type of leaf stuff on it and looking at the cup it just wasn't clean period. Then it seemed to be very little if any social distancing in the bar area, where we really had no choice but to sit. You had people just walking into the bar area greeting folks and staff they knew. It was just all to much. But the food was good, if that's any relief... Ohhhhh.....and then someone had the AUDACITY to put shoes on one of the tables with all the germs out here.

The only people who gave this place 5 wears have low standards. This is the most unprofessional establishment I have been to in years. All the workers hid out in the bathroom, the bartender’s was trash and chatted with men at the bar instead of making service bar drinks and just over all gave out drinks that’s was not done to recipes. Floors were dirty and I spent over 2 hours here waiting for two drinks and a 2 for 35. If it wasn’t for my sever bre I would have walked out this horrible place. Bre you really deserve all the credit for saving my visit, great hospitality and friendly. For the owners please hire better staff, and better management. This is just sad that ownership allow this place to operate like this. For the record I had to send back fries that was cold and drinks that were trash.

This is the worst Applebee's I have ever been to. The drinks are way too strong! All booze and a splash of mixer, not drinkable. They don't know how to make a proper drink. The drink you order isn't even the same one they bring to you or as soon on the menu. Absolutely disgusting plating of food and it's always missing the dressing on the side and all the ingredients in it. Service was rude and extremely unprofessional. The waitress did not get our order right and the bartender doesn't even know how to make a screwdriver! I don't recommend anyone going here. They need all need new management and also not chipped plates.

The Forestville location by far, has the most un-professional ill mannered untrained staff I’ve ever been subjected to. I visited this location for dinner twice within the last week and have not eaten a bite of food from them. On 2/13/25, My bf and I visited this location and again on Monday 2/17/25, arriving around 8p on both days. On 2/13/25 we were sat by a hostess and that’s about the sum it. We waited over 23 minutes and no one ever acknowledged that we were sitting there. At the 25 minute mark we left and went to another restaurant. On 2/17/25 my bf arrived at 8:05p and I arrived at 8:12p. By 8:20p no one had come to the table, so I stopped a person that appeared to work there and asked if she would send the server over? About 5 minutes after that a young female approached the table, ( I later find out her name was Chrissy). she immediately asked if we had any drink orders? I then replied “yes and I would like an order of buffalo wings with ranch dressing” My BF then proceeded to ask her, “what flavors of margaritas do you have?” Chrissy ran down flavors like mango, passion fruit, strawberry. When she got to strawberry, my BF interrupted her and said, “I’ll get the strawberry margarita” and I said “make that two.” Chrissy left the table and walked about two steps, turned around and said, “you want boneless right?” I replied and said “No bone in.” She turns around and continues on her way. About 10 minutes later, she comes back to the table with two light yellowish drinks, sets them down and says, “I’ll come back to take your order.” I stopped her and asked what flavor margarita was in front of us and she replied, “passion fruit.” I replied , “I’m sorry , but this is not what we ordered.” She quickly responded, “yes it is!” Confused with her quick and immediate denial, I continued to inform her that “we definitely ordered strawberry because I don’t drink flavors like mango , guava, pineapple, passion fruit. So when I heard my bf order a strawberry margarita I decided to copy him.” Again she quickly replied “well we don’t have strawberry anyway!” I decided to just move past this, so My bf proceeded to order a Salmon entree. When it was my turn, while pointing to my choice on the menu ( middle inside page, middle of the page) I ordered “the Tex Mex shrimp bowl with an extra Chipotle Lime Chicken breast.” Chrissy clarifies and asks, “ so you want the chicken on the side?” To which I replied, “yes.” She walked off. 2 minutes later she returned and said, “ you can’t just order the chicken, you have to order an entree.” 😳. Having grown weary of her not remembering, misremembering or just plain fudging our order, I suggested to her, “ perhaps you should write people’s orders down to ensure to get it right.” She flippantly waved her hand in a dismissive way and walked off. At that point, I did not want to eat or drink anything there nor was I gonna to spend nor allow my bf to spend another dime there. We gathered our coats and began to walk out. As I got toward the door I saw an employee that appeared to be the manager. When I asked if they were the manager they said no and began to walk off, I asked as they were walking away “will you get the manager?” When the manager, Keith, came out he greeted us , introduced himself and asked how he could help us. Perfect right? Within seconds of my bf and I beginning to explain that we had an issue with the server and overall customer service in that particular location the server walked by and overhears me saying “I don’t know her name but we were sitting……” before I could begin to point to where we were sitting, she interjected and said, “ Chrissy. My name is Chrissy!” Further illustrating her lack of professionalism. Did he correct her or tell her to move along? No! He heard us out, but then tried to defend her by offering a reason for her misunderstanding my order, by showing me something on the backside of the menu. So overall less than 1 star if I could, this is why people go across the bridge to VA or go to DC. Unprofessionalism at its finest!

We came in and didn’t even get our drinks until about a half hour after we came in. Took another 45 min to just come take our order and then another 30 min for our order to get made. That waitress was nice but didn’t even take the time to give us a refill, we had to ask for one. If I could give this location a 0 I would but sadly they cannot.

Where is the liquor? Came in last week once, once the week before and back now and they literally have no alcohol. Just close the bar and take alcohol of the menu!

Every worker completely ignored me and other guest who entered for pick up and curbside orders. Finally someone came out and messed up my order. I ordered whiskey burger with broccoli and they brought out French fries. I prepaid my order and I will never return here AGAIN. Management DO BETTER.

Poor service, very slow. Had to use flimsy plastic knives and forks because the server said the restaurant didn't "have enough " real silverware. Not just us, but the other patrons too. It's a shame; this used to be a reliable place for a quick not fast food lunch.

Service was absolutely ATROCIOUS. Waited 15 minutes to simply get my Budweiser ( after having mistakenly served a Bud light draft and the a Bud light bottle). Spoke to manager. I come here often and this was the worst. My waiter was not rude, but he wasn't pleasant either, didn't know his name until I saw it on my check. My drink was watered down, my food was tasteless and to top it off, I happened to look up at the ceiling. I was absolutely grossed out. The tiles are black like mold or mildew. This is unacceptable 😠

There was something in my ranch and my food was undercooked and they also sent out spicy salsa for my 3yr Old quesadilla and she reacted coughing with teary eyes it was on the kids menu so I definitely wasnt expecting that the manager claim to have given me a discount I definitely couldnt tell it was like $6 off wow. so it wasnt a proper resolution for what i experienced definitely wouldn't recommend this location maybe other locations would be much better but I will never come here again.

We visited this place yesterday, it was the worst experience ever!! Customer service was sooooo RUDE & management was incapable of managing his staff. The food was horrible (wings) burnt to the bone. We had to send both orders back, we did get them taken off the bill by manager. We will NEVER visit again!!

Staff here is super lazy. Went here recently. Friday 1/13/23 to be specific. We arrived at 11:10pm after calling first to see what time the kitchen closes (they told us 11:30pm over the phone). Super bad choice; especially on a first date. The security guy was a jerk too. Asked to speak to a manager and she said she wasn’t seating anymore people. The service here is horrible and they aren’t concerned with pleasing customers. If I could give this business a zero star rating I would. Very displeased with their treatment and seating policies. If someone from Applebees Headquarters ever reads this PLEASE TAKE PROPER ACTION TO REGAIN ORDER WITH YOUR CHAIN OF COMMAND AND EMPLOYEES. Feel free to send a mole or secret shopper to test the theory. Especially on a busy night. I promise you the folks you have there now are running customers away. They are very rude and lazy here.

Update: it would be helpful to bring out silverware/napkins & condiments in the beginning so we're not sitting there waiting while our food gets cold. I used plastic ware to cut a steak because they're washing the utensils. SMH. Also, please ask workers to check on customer's on between time & not just come when ordering/bringing food. They are so slow. Place isn't full at all. On Monday, we left my Dad's funeral & needed some food. First, they said it's a 30 min. wait. The place was almost empty. A shift change shouldn't cause such an issue. Two other women were in front of us. Then, we all asked for a manager. The guy said, he'll tell you the same thing but we insisted. Guy came back & said, he said he's busy. I grew up in the Forestville area but will never support this establishment again. I've had issues at various Applebee's in PG Co. I guess it's time to find a new eating place all together. Do better Applebee's.

A server “Lioniesha” stole a diner’s money. Printed out a merchant copy an hour after the table left and tipped herself $30. Please be aware when you come to this location.

Wouldn’t recommend, food tasted bland and heated up , also got profiled by my own people saying that I wasn’t going to pay when I was … I had to wait on my server that was taking forever to do simple things .

Sunday, 7/20/25 Ordered my food over the phone they gave me a pick up time 6:24pm. I got there 6:25pm gave the cashier my name and paid for the food. There was 2 people in there when I arrived. 6:40pm NO FOOD now it beginning to get crowded 6:54 pm I go up to the counter again and now it’s the manger at the register. I asked her about my order she said it’s coming😡😡 my name was called at 7:04pm 👎🏿👎🏿 get home and my food was WRONG order Burbon Street Pasta comes with chicken & sausages, peppers & onions, sauce and bread stick. NO SAUSAGES, ONIONS and CAJUN SAUCE🤷🏽‍♀️🤷🏽‍♀️. Never again will I visit Forestville Applebees. I deserve REFUND

We were very disappointed. It was a sure sign to leave when a customer came in fussing about waiting for an hour about a pick up order in the parking lot...but nope, we sat..we waited, and waited, and waited some more... we weren't even offered water. I did get a drink, after 15 minutes, and it was delicious, I hated to leave it on that table but service was poor. Please do better, and spruce that place up...pictures are falling apart, my menu had food in it ( lettuce) and the carpet is filthy.

When we arrived, there was no hostess present. So, my guest & I seated ourselves. Once we tried to order & informed the server we didn't have menus, he told us we had to go back to be seated by a hostess. We did. As we explained to the hostess the situation, this "young lady insinuated that we came through the back door & told us we were "lying" because she was there the entire time, when she wasn't. Strike one! Then she said it would be a wait, when NO ONE was there waiting to be seated inside or outside the restaurant. We asked for a manager who seated us right away at the same table we were at. The server "Terrance" was not useful. He brought me out a meal with 1/2 of the toppings. I ordered the Tex Mex salad & only received full toppings of the pico & guacamole, but 2/3 kernels of the corn salad. After showing him the pic, he again tried to tell me that it was correct. I told him if it was correct to him & the picture showed different, then he could take it back. He then returned with a side of the corn salad. Strike 2! Next we ordered drinks that just sat in front of us at the bar for awhile. Once he "finally" brought the beer to the table, it was not only warm, but he carried it with his bare hands around the mouthpiece. Strike 3! Lastly, the stinch from the bathrooms were worse than an alley full of urination smells. We complained to the manager on all occurrences, but when we suggested that she just go open the door to the restrooms & smell the foul stench, she said, "I'll send one of my employees in to "smell it." SMH STRIKE 4. I'm considering contacting the health inspectors to visit that location, bcuz it's very degrading & unsanitary. The kitchen walls, which can be seen from the restaurant, are so filthy. NO ONE in the kitchen used gloves or even a hairnet. This place needs to be closed down & cleaned, immediately.

waited for 5 minutes, empty seats and servers walking around doing nothing, they saw us mind you, and never got greeted/seated. immediately left because if you take that long to seat is when you’re doing nothing, then how long will it take for us to receive our food/check/etc? do not recommend.

The service was trash the young lady had a bad temper. The all you can eat was not all you can eat and they didn’t have shrimps. The bucket rum breeze was nothing but flat soda. Our table was not even offered water. The server was rude and didn’t even care to properly take our order. She even admitted she messed the order up and responded oh well it’s nothing I can say or do. The manager never apologized for the trash service but it seem more like she wasn’t even tripping off the service. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND EATING AT 711 before spending your money here at this establishment. She didn’t even ask us did we want our second round of food and when she came she approached with an attitude rolling her eyes. I myself besides the other people I was with didn’t feel comfortable with her even bringing my food. She never even gave us her name but I do know she has a blonde lace front.

We were immediately sat down in a booth. The booth itself was disgusting- looked as if it had never been wiped down. About 15-20mins of no service at all, I asked a server if he could find out who our server was and send them over. I watched this young man take the long way around to the front, look at the seating chart and come back to our table with a little bit of a tude and sarcasm to say, "apparently I'm your server". At that point, we proceeded to give him our drink, appetizers, food, and to-go order as we didn't know if/when he would come back. Needless to say, he put the order in, forgot to add the to-go order & transferred our table to another server. We will NEVER patronize this location again

My friends and I waited 45 minutes for our drinks that we ended up cancelling and our food came out before our drinks. There was no rush, it was a slow night, two bartenders, 3 servers and one host. Will not be back. Hands down the worst experience I’ve had at a restaurant.

ABSOLUTE WORSE SERVICE EVER!!!!!!!! I will never come back to this place. Had a party of 6, not busy at all, took about 7-10min for someone to acknowledge us, took another 30min to be sat. Once seated it took another 10min for a server to come to the table…….she was not friendly, barely spoke, I had to speak first. Plus they were out of won ton tacos (only thing I came for). This was literally the worst place i’ve ever been.

Tonight was the worst I guess my waitress had to many tables because I waited 10 minutes until I asked the hostess who was serving my table she finally came over and ask can we give her 2 minutes...I ordered a tipsy cupid drink that took forever my waitress came over an apologize for the wait I look over and saw the bartender sitting down in the chair behind the bar I told the Manger that was unprofessional I ordered boneless wings that was not hot I sent them back and the kitchen manager I guess that's who he was came out and asked me what was wrong he quickly fixed it... I sent back 2 drinks that was horrible it's definitely a hit or miss with this place they caterer more to the regulars more then anything

As a well known popular restaurant; I'm sadden 2 say I took my parents out for a wonderful meal that turned into a complet disaster; it wasn’t the fault of our server, POOR BUSINESSSHIP. our Server was doing everything in this power to make it right; actually you can't change when you're workn under horrible management. I also understand ppl ask for jobs & will not keep their end of the barging. BE more assertive & let those kind of ppl whose destroying your business go.

By far the worst experience I’ve ever had. A nice happy hour turned sour. First the AC was not working so the atmosphere was very hot. My friend and myself still tried to be adaptable and still order at the bar. The bartender (female w/ long dreads) automatically seemed to have an attitude. Her energy was low and she was kinda rude when asked questions about happy hour. I ordered the Red, White, and Blue drink and she made it nothing like the picture. Legit splash red puree and the top and called it a day. Then the shark bowl when asked about the candy she said “we ain’t got none”. That’s when o asked to speak to a managers the manager first apologized then pulled her to the back. I’m not sure what exactly he said to her but her response was “It’s Hot”… if that’s the attitude she is going to have she could have kindly clocked out. If you see her at the bar run far away she will drain your energy. Now I’m leaving to go to a different Applebees since I felt unwanted there.

If i could give this place 0 stars i would. Please never come here no matter how hungry you are or how close you are. Staff accused me of not paying last time i was there. IVE NEVER DONE NO BS LIKE THAT IN MY LIFE!!! The head manager did the accusing. Short guy real rude,not a man at all, never apologized after i denied his claims and showed him a wad of cash all $50's and $20's at which point he left. Only reason i didnt immediately leave is because then i would look like i did run off. Ive been to too many restaurants over the years and NEVER had this happened because ive always paid my bill! If i knew the food would come with a 30 minute wait and disrespect i would never stepped foot in this place. I suggest you NEVER STEP FOOT IN THIS PLACE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The steak was great nice and juicy meanwhile the juice was soaking the container the mashed potatoes were sitting in… I don’t know how sanitary this is this is the way the manager says they do it so that’s why I’m giving one star it doesn’t seem sanitary at all for my container of mashed potatoes everyone has been touching to be sitting in my steak just chillin that ain’t right. I do understand some people don’t like their mashed potatoes touching their steak well just leave it in the container outside of the steak’ container 🤷🏾‍♀️ simple

We met the new manager who was absolutely lovely. Unfortunately service was terrible. We got seated and at least twenty minutes before anybody came over. The manager didn't notice input a waiter right on the case. After our order was taken the waitress, that was actually assigned to our table came over to take our order. A good twenty minutes after us getting there. Unfortunately, the waiter, who did wait on us was not attentive. Never checked to see if we were enjoying our food and we had to flag the manager down again to get our bill. We usually are reasonable tippers with at least twenty percent today we were not. I wish good luck to the new manager.I think she's going to need it.

Food was poorly presented. I ordered chicken and fries from this place, I will never again spend what I work hard for here! The chicken tenders were burnt as if they over fried them, the fries were the portion of a kids meal or maybe less and had the never to be saggy. On top of that I payed for extra honey mustard how hard is it to put honey mustard in a bag!! I didn’t receive any! This is not a place I would recommend ever

I tend to come to this Applebees every so often because it’s near my home so it’s convenient. I haven’t had many bad experiences here but last night was by far the worst experience. Our food was just fine. My issue comes after the fact. I've never had someone try to play with my money at this restaurant until last night. Our bill came to $70.47, I left a $10 tip for the waitress on my card which would bring the total amount to $80.47 yet I wake up this morning and see that my cash app card was charged for $100.47! I immediately went to the restaurant today to address this clear fraud. The manager that was on duty during lunch today was not working last night but she was very helpful and able to bring me a copy of the Merchant copy of the receipt from last night. Which there is a CLEAR indisputable time difference on than what’s on my guest copy. I kept both of my receipts from last night, both the check I was given and the guest copy receipt that we are given once it’s time to sign after your card has been charged! The time that my receipt was printed out says 9:46PM. The time that the guest copy receipt says my payment was approved says 9:57PM. My transaction on my cash app also says my card was charged at 9:57PM. Yet the merchant copy receipt they have says 10:44PM. I know without question that I signed the receipt and left a $10 tip. My lady friend that was with me confirmed to me that I signed the receipt and left a $10 tip. Yet the merchant copy they showed me has a different time on it than mine and it just has a tip and total written on it with no signature on it that’s not even my handwriting nor my lady friend’s handwriting. I was able to speak with the GM Jay about this when he got to work this afternoon. While he did give me back the $20 difference in the tip, I do not appreciate the insult to my intelligence. He basically blew off the clear time difference on the merchant copy and guest copy. Then he sat and lied to my face and told me that he checked the cameras and saw that I was sleep and my lady friend signed the receipt for me yet I checked the exact area where we sat after I spoke with him and there are CLEARLY no cameras anywhere facing the booth we sat at. Someone that works here is clearly trying to scam people out of money and the GM just wants to help the cover it up by not doing his job correctly.

I went on a Monday evening during happy hour (around 4pm). My husband ordered bone in buffalo wings and they came out cold . You can tell they microwave them because they were super dry !!! The bartenders (both with red dreads) ran out of patron and magically found a half of bottle in the back. The liquor wasn't patron they are refilling empty bottles !!! 13.49 for a shot of what tastes like 1800 is insane !!!!!! Our waiter was the host and bar area server so she gets a little grace but we barely saw her. Kitchen was loud as hell we could hear then cussing and talking about their personal issues .

Only ate here because nothing else was really open and we were extremely hungry on New Years Eve. I knew better but I was thinking the food and customer service had gotten better. NOPE! My server forgot everything we asked for and so we had to repeatedly ask for napkins, straws and a Togo cup for my daughter. We waited so long and when we eventually got our food it wasn’t good. My cheese on my “loaded mash potatoes” wasn’t melted. My ribs were cold and our appetizer looked very just thrown on the plate/bowl. The manager gave us a discount without us having to ask so I’ll give two stars for service but overall this was a waste of time and money. Never coming to that location again.

The food is always mid here and the drinks are strong if you want to get drunk fast and cheap but if you want a balance cocktail this isn't the place for you, apparently you have to see the host for dinning in, we went straight to the tables one time because we didn't know and because there wasn't a host at the stand and the servers took around 15 to 20 minutes to tell us to go see the host and then we finally got a table, so on our next visit we went straight to the host stand and waited for her to show up there for about 10 mins or so, honestly the only way to get good service is to seat at the bar.

This Applebee’s is garbage. Order food at your own risk because the food will come out cold and or incorrect. My salad was wet & soggy, cucumbers - wet, salad WET! It’s fine for a drink or 2. Oh and a burger… If you have been drinking, lol. The burgers are good; but I wouldn’t stay too long.

I wish I could give a 0 rating. I've tried to patronize this Applebee's several times and every time it has been the same excuse which leads me to believe they have poor management. I always order the same thing and there's always parts of my order missing. In fact, it's the same parts, and the excuse is always that they ran out of this sauce or they ran out of this item. If the same item is missing every time that means that it was never ordered. This time instead of having it delivered to me, I picked it up instead so that I could look at the order myself and of course it was wrong. At this point I've resigned to never eat here again. Our exercise group of 9 ladies arrived at the Forestville restaurant 10/9/2925 11:00:am. The waitress was plesant, taking our drink and food orders. After that we were left waiting,. About 30 mins., passed before the first 2 orders were served, another 30 mins for two more orders, needless to say, the waitress was just overwhelmed with our orders and orders of several other patrons. The wait time to get our bills was even worse. Just unbelievable how awful the service was. Our group will never return or refer anyone to this restaurant. In summary, do not go to this restaurant ever...the worst service ever!

I wish I could give 0 stars, this location is HORRIBLE!! Sat for an hour and 1/2 and ended up leaving without being served. The waitresses take literally 40min to come to the table when the restaurant is EMPTY, food is dry and the drinks are overly sugary and taste alcohol-free. Don’t wast your time nor money. This location will not see me again and they should be shut down. Horrible service!

My server was great! Haven't been here since before COVID 19, remolding needs are necessary. You can feel the booth springs, you're down to the floor like a child, the carpet is sticky and dirty and the table and chairs are rocky and just throw away old. Before I could even order they had to see if chicken was even available. I almost ran 🤣 I won't be back until the remodel.

While the service was fine, the overall food was horrible quality. We ordered a spinach dip, and it came very watery. The barbecue ribs were burnt, and just put extra barbecue sauce to hide the meat being burnt. Worst of all, the utensils were plastic forks and knifes that were also bad quality. As this being my first impression, I wouldn’t recommend going here.

Worst restaurant I've ever ate at. Took 1 hour to get the food, it was cold on scalding hot plates. Gave us plastic forks only and told us to improvise. My wife ordered a steak and i had grilled chicken. Not much improvising trying to cut a steak with a plastic knife. The broccoli was like rubber, like it had been cooked twice and left out. Dirty and nasty inside, no soap in the restroom. One of the staff made eye contact with me and asked "what's wrong" like I was doing something to him! When does that happen? Our waitress never filled a drink, asked if our food was ok, never asked us we we wanted boxes (we didn't, because I didn't want it) and it cost me 70 dollars. I try not being nasty to people, but no one in that place seemed to care. Don't come here.
