Great fried chicken. Elijah rules. Elijah represents how service used to be back in the day. World class. I’ve had waiter at 5 star restaurants that have half of the joy that oozes out of this kid. He’s a stud. He deserves to have a raise, bonus and a promotion. This was also my first experience at Popeyes. I will be back again.

I was traveling with my sister several days after our father's funeral. We decided to stop at Popeyes for brunch 🙂 The young man (didn't get his name really but I think it was William) at the drive through, who put our order together, was very kind and helpful. We did have to wait a few minutes and he very politely explained why. Besides good food we had a really nice experience. 😊👍

I...don't think I will ever go to any other fast food fried chicken place. Popeyes was simply so much better! Everything had flavor and great texture! It is on the spicy side. Also, I tried their sweet and hot sauce meant for seafood on the mild tenders and it was delicious! Even their tea was above average.

Went by this one on our way through Blythe. We all know Popeyes can be hit or miss depending on which one you go to and who’s cooking. This one was on point. The lady at the front was by herself and did a great job. She had the brightest smile and was very friendly. Whoever did all the cooking that day made sure the chicken was juicy and not dry. Pleasantly surprised by this location.

The cashier, his name starts with a "D" and he wears dreadlocks, was extra welcoming with great customer service. From when we walked through the door and headed toward the restroom, he gave us the code to unlock the door without us needing to ask. He read the room, which felt nice. He also was great answering all of our questions while we ordered. Great job!! Food was fresh! No complaints.

Typical visit to a fast food joint. Got popcorn shrimp and a biscuit. The meal was excellent. The service was good. The bathroom was open, private (one toilet only, no sharing), and relatively clean.

I got here on 4-12-24 when they were barely opening. The manager was kind enough to let me in a little earlier to get my order started. Than I got serviced by Elijah, a young man with such a chill and positive attitude, that he passed it on to me and got me in a really good mood. Elijah deserves a raised because of his wonderful customer service

Their was a girl in the drive through her name was maybe Allisea she was the sweetest thing she used honey or sweetie it was the greatest southern hospitality I've experience. She needs a raise I kept adding stuff to my order I just went to try the fried pickles. I ended up ordering more items. I got lemonade, sandwich, wings and some other items. It was around 11pm

My husband and I stopped at this Popeyes on the way back home to Arizona. The staff was very helpful and attentive. The parking lot and lobby was clean. The food was expensive but very good. Kudos to the fry guy! He accidentally made my chicken wraps with mayo but quickly realized his mistake and remade them👍🏾. Awesome job 👏🏾! ~Mamatpp

I miss being home in the south so when I am traveling and I see a Popeyes, I get a large red beans in rice. We'll they have an amazing special..two pieces a chicken and 2 sides for less than $7 + tax. I thank the young African American man, who in these economy times, for bringing the special to my attention.

One of the freshest Popeyes in Blythe and they have great specials. I was there yesterday and got the 3 piece chicken for $6 and you can't beat it. As we were waiting the employees were constantly cleaning and the restrooms were cleaned. We stopped here on our drive to Arizona and I would definitely visit again.

Elijah does an amazing job. Among the business of the lunch rush, he was clearly dealing with a lot of customers at one time, however, every time he addressed someone, he did so with patience and genuine kindness. He made sure to check on me twice while I looked over the menu. I'm very glad I stopped here. The food was good, and it's not every day you get service like that from a little stop off the highway.

Love that chicken from Popeyes! Not just a catch phrase, I really do. COVID rules are iffy, especially in California. And I have a 1 ton dually truck so drive-through is never an option. My fellow googlers said this particular restaurant offered dine-in but the Popeyes website for this location did not say dine-in. So I rolled the dice. But it paid off! The restaurant was open for dine-in!! And as a bonus, the staff was friendly. The service was fast. The food was amazing, of course.

Super good chicken, nice and hot and super fresh. Biscuits baked perfectly. Also this store is very clean, I know it's brand new but it shows it's being well taken care of so far. The only comment I have it is slightly hard to see as it is off the main street behind a mobile and an atm.

This Popeyes location is clean and the staff was pleasant. Our order was up pretty quick, and was correct. Only reason for 4 stars is that when we got our drinks the unsweetened tea was empty. We mentioned it to the crew member, but at no point during the 30 minutes we spent eating our meal did they refill the container. It was only 7:30 at night, so they still had 2.5 hours of being open.

We had never been to Popeyes before. I've heard people talk about their chicken sandwich and we had to see what the fuss was all about. I have to tell you it was one of the best chicken sandwiches I've had. Their chicken was crispy and very flavorful. My son had popcorn shrimp which he really enjoyed. In addition, he said the biscuit was excellent as well. My family wants Popeye's to be on our list soon.

Good food and the service were just fine. It’s one of the few places to stop while on the interstate going from Phoenix on into CA. I found the place busy with customers and no one looked unhappy with their meals. The chicken was just want I thought it would be and the employee who waited on us and took the order offered a better menu selection for a better price than what we originally asked for. The restrooms were clean however lacked paper towels and TP. It was a good location just off the exit and back on for a quick stop.

The hype was right. The new spicy chicken 🐔 sandwich is like no other, and NOW you can add bacon and cheese to any sandwich you choose. Oh, and the associate who helped us recommended the macaroni and cheese. He was on point. Very cheesy (you can taste the real cheese, not Velveeta), creamy with more melted cheese on top. Lastly, although I did not order wings, the same associate gave me a sample of the garlic parmesan sauce for a little bit extra. Mmmmmm......so good. Thank you to the staff working at about 4pm on March 28th. I forgot the young man's name, he has a great smile, which is very helpful in customer service.

Good food as always, lady in the drive thru was very sweet. They were out of ketchup which was weird, so we just grabbed some from Jack in the Box next door. All in all it was a good chicken sandwich and fast service to get back on the road.

It was very warm inside, but clean! The new cashier did very well in taking our orders during the lunch rush. A group of us were traveling so using the bathroom is a must. It was clean, and stocked. The crew worked well and got everyone's order out pretty quickly.

My wife and i stopped at Popeyes for lunch after doing laundry in Blythe, Ca. We both ordered chicken tenders. She likes the spicy, i like mild. There was a mix up on my wifes order,but the staff corrected it quickly. The food was excellent, the store was clean,the staff was great. We had a great lunch,and continued on our way.

Great value overall. Tasty food, fresh and filling. People were friendly, and the woman at the drive thru tried her best at explaining that the deal I couldn't order online was an online only deal. There were glitches in ordering online, and I didn't have the coupon code to get the special I was looking at, but I got another deal, almost as good. This is really a minor issue, because I got ridiculously full anyway. Best Popeyes in Blythe! I'll be back.

Food was excellent Hot and fresh. 4 chicken sandwiches. At inside restaurant.. was not given any utensils or ketchup etc. 1 order was a combo with red beans and rice and Cajun fries both great.. but store staff needs to understand if people are dining in to Include utensils (common sense) this would be the only reason for the minus 1 star.. also ice machine was out of order

Conveniently located right off I-10 W. The chicken sandwich we bought was very good, crisp and fresh. However the restaurant smelled horrible - not sure if it was because of the oil being used or something else. Else it was good.

Our first time at Popeyes. Very disappointed. No dine in, our order was $21. for chicken with no special flavors. No napkins, no dipping sauce. Nor was any offered. We won't be going again. Not good for tourism either. Travelers must carry this store.

Foodbis always great. The service is a different story. Everytime I do the drive thru the clerk has you go park and wait for items. This time was so stupid since the person had guy in front of me do the same saying waiting on biscuits. He waited 20 minutes and I waited a few minutes less. I walked in to the restaurant and his order along with mine was sitting there ready and the employees were just BSing while we were outside sitting in our cars. This happens every time I go here! Don't use the drive thru!

Looked like 6 employees with only one really working & really caring for customers. First one didn't know there was a water cup & charged me $2.79. Found one of ten empty tables clean enough to sit at, but I stood for many minutes waiting for my order that never came. After I checked out many 'to go' orders up at counter that weren't mine, they finally asked what I ordered, realized they skipped over it and started on it only after my brother was long done with his 3-pc dinner. Tasted pretty good though when I finally got it.

I don't really understand what's the deal with this company. I like their chicken tenders and I think the occasional $5 box deals are good value, but their employees always seem to be really slow. Every Popeye's I've been to, I have seen the employees being genuinely careless and super slow for some reason. I also wanna make it clear that that has nothing to do with all of their ethnicity being the same. Also, I understand that it's a fast food restaurant and the employees are underpaid, but they need to be trained better.

Y'all wild. Went through the drive thru- ordered one order of 3 piece spicy, and one order of 5 piece mild tenders. Both with sweet teas. They confirmed the order with us 3 times. We got a 3 piece mild, a 5 piece spicy and both drinks are unsweetened. Also, No utensils or ketchup. I ate my coleslaw with the lid. Do better y'all, these are hard times.

They have staff and they seem to be all looking at the orders but things are backed up and no one appears to be moving at the pace needed for the amount of customers. I ordered ahead and when I got there they said ok we'll put your order in now. You order ahead so you can pick up and go. 23 min from ordering to getting it🤔. They say it's made "fresh" yet there are warming trays they get the food from. The order was lukewarm. There is an issue with ordering wings from the app and being able to choose the flavor. The counter girl was sweet and friendly but the others needed to move a bit faster. 5 people seemed like they worked on each order.

There was no change to give back to people that only had cash to pay with. Had to spend more than what we were planning on ordering for us to be able to place order.

The restaurant itself is clean and has nice decore. The service was fine. The food however was less than desirable. The chicken sandwiches were very greasy. I had to use several napkins to absorb some of the grease off. The fries were literally a ball of fries stuck together. I'm actually surprised someone would serve this. We were a to go order, so by the time we opened the bag we were already on the freeway. Otherwise, I would have returned our order (which I never do!). I think they're so used to churning out food that they forgot people have to eat it.

Wow is a large fry large. It was a literal box and two of us couldn't finish it. Popeyes is decent for fast food. Love that chicken sandwich!

Excellent biscuits and fries. Chicken was OK, but nothing spectacular. My only complaint was the ice machine was either out of ice or broken - which is not a good thing when it’s close to 100 degrees outside. Service was good; the young kid working the counter seemed to enjoy what he was doing.

We bought the $23 family meal, asked for extra gravy for the mashed potatoes, was charged $0.50. See picture. Asked for dipping sauce, was charged $0.25 each. Asked for a large cup, for ice, was going to charge me $3.59. You Nickel & Dimmed this family for the last time.

This review is solely on the quality of their chicken tenders. I would bet money that this is some kind of processed "sandwich slice" chicken. It's definitely not fresh chicken breast. I should've bought a chicken breast. At least we know if it has a bone in it ... it's real meat ... we hope. The employees were awesome the chicken strip quality ... horrible, and it was almost $20 for 5 strips and a fountain soda. No sides. It was definitely a rip-off.

Ordered to go as we were traveling. Down the road, we realized 1 of our sides were missing. Sucks that they weren't even busy ( we were the only ones besides another gentleman) and yet forgot 1 of the sides that was really wanted ( red beans and rice). Make sure to check your order before you leave to make sure you have everything. Very disappointing especially when we spent over $60.

Incredibly disappointed. Slow service - waited over 20 minutes for two sandwiches - very dirty bathroom, heard the staff swearing at each other behind the counter. Additionally, there was a staff person on their break occupying a valuable table when the restaurant was crowded speaking loudly on their phone via FaceTime and leaving trash behind. This store needs a serious overhaul before a fight breaks out over slow orders and bad service.

The Blythe location may not be indicative of Popeyes' locations that rely on building a following in their community to survive. The majority of their business is no doubt from people traveling on I-10 being the halfway point between Phoenix and L.A. i arrived around 2:30 pm. That's the disclaimer. I sadly was enticed by the word shrimp. Smelled a bit off, but I tried it anyway. The taste didn't match the smell, but that doesn't mean it was a good difference. The shrimp inside the fried casings were fairly rubbery and made up about 1/4 - 1/3 of each piece. The remainder was deep-fried batter. The overall texture and flavor made them seem like they had perhaps been in the freezer beyond their date. With this, I got the Mac and cheese after a friend had recently raved about Popeyes it. On the top, it appeared to have real Cheddar cheese that had melted at one point but looked and chewed as if it had been sitting for some time and not in a hot enough place. Underneath the cheese, the mac and cheese was creamy and cheesy, but the entire dish was lukewarm at best. There were no clean tables, but when I asked for a cloth to wash one off, someone did come out and wash them off. Soda was good and refillable.

On the outside it just looks like an average Popeyes. Maybe on the older side, might need a little work, but on the inside..... PEE AIR!!! PEE AIR! Smells like pee and is super humid so one can assume the pee is in the air that we're breathing and walking through. There's pee all over the bathrooms and it's really disgusting. The pee leaks into the lobby like a river so I can only assume it's in the kitchen as well.

A little “unkempt “ in the restaurant and the chicken fingers were more breading than chicken. The staff were friendly and working well together based on a small rush of customers.

While the chicken is still doing its thing, I think the staff gets easily overwhelmed. I visited twice in a 2 day period on my journey to Cali and back and on both occasions the staff was just terrible.

Ordered 2 3-piece chicken combos in the drive thru, our fault for not checking our order before we left! Checked our food when we got on the I-10 in Az side and we got tenders instead of chicken. One of the dinners the tenders were little pieces, 4 of them, it was like crumbs actually! To say the least VERY PISSED!!! Check your order before you leave!

The service was very slow. It took almost 15 minutes to get my order. Some people were waiting even longer. Also, the order was incorrect! The ghost pepper sandwich is a joke. It is no hotter than the original spicy chicken sandwich.

We usually love the food at Popeyes. This time it still tasted good, but we were served the last of the crumbs of the breading that couldn't have had less chicken in it if they tried. We were very disappointed that their employees would try to pass this off as acceptable. btw as we ate I saw them empty the most luscious new batch of chicken into the bin we had been served. from.

Not a good experience. Ordered 3 piece chicken tenders chicken bites, got 3 piece chicken and the chicken bites, the chicken bites were 75% breading that had almost no flavor. We were on the highway before we realized that they had messed up with the order. To top it off it took over 30 minutes to get such a small order, they only had 2 other customers in there at the times we were there, and I counted 11 workers wandering around also, so it was not a help issue. Not sure I will be going back.

The employees were great, but the atmosphere was terrible. The lobby was so hot. The A/C was not working or something. It was honestly cooler outside and it was 106°. The food was great though. They were super busy and only had one person taking orders. We ate inside because we had kids but it was just so hot and miserable.

If I could give this place a zero I would we literally waited 45 min for our order which was 2 sandwiches and 2 combos, employees and heavier set black female manager with glasses were rude. Very unprofessional for manager and management also allowing all employees to be working with headphones on.

Went to purchase a 12 piece meal as advertised on the order menu. Gave them the two sides we wanted. They said they don't offer that any more. But they still are advertising it. When asked to speak to a manager. Still no help. So we asked for the regional managers number. We were told they can't give that information out. We love Popeyes but this store has some issues. They will be hard pressed to earn our business again.

Waited a long time for them to take our order despite there only being one car in front of us. Then they told us they were out of mild chicken and that we would have to wait for them to cook more. So we cancelled. Also they have a curb that damaged our wheel as we turned just past the order kiosk. Bad design. Hard to notice and realize one must swing wide.

Really bad experience, staff was unfriendly, unhelpful, slow, and disorganized. Chicken good, service horrible and unfriendly. I ordered from someone who didn't look up, and said "I'll help the next person in line. . ." While I was the only person in front of her. Then as I waited beyond people who ordered after me, I asked if my order was ready, no answer, then heard my name as an order was put on the back counter. Still no one moved. When I asked if that was for "John" girl replied "I have NO idea!" Still waiting finally someone thinks to ask who that order was for, and Mgr says "John" and finally gets it to me. Well, I got outside and learned it was the wrong order. Funny that I also had time to read all the placards about Louisiana hospitality around the store. And I still love the chicken but I wouldn't put up with service like that.

if i could put zero stars i could this store specifically has mice and i refuse to eat here but i am from blythe so my phone automatically sets my popeyes app to blythe and i accidentally ordered in blythe while im in tucson but it never popped up in my orders or even said it went thru but it charged my card 31$ so i had to call since it popped up nowhere on my app, the manager addie answered after about 9 rings and sounded like she didn’t want to help me and when i asked if she could cancel it or refund it she acted rude and unhelpful i’ve worked fast food and i know you can cancel and refund orders. she said they don’t even go thru the app? but it’s the popeyes app and when i called they said they had the order but refused to help cancel it and when i asked for a coupon or free meal since i can’t even pick it up she yawned and said she couldn’t do anything and was downright rude and disrespectful. if she had been nicer about it id understand but she was rude about the whole situation and not understanding at all and acted as thought that was my fault that it wasn’t popping up on the app. like no that’s an issue with your app

Wish I could give ZERO stars. It shouldn't have taken 45 minutes to get raw, wet scraps. There was only one crew member that knew what she was doing. The Manager was a mess & inefficient. I requested a refund & went elsewhere. Worse Popeye's ever. Don't even waste your time. Complete disappointment.

It was awful 😖 we got old chicken strips that were old and dried up!! And very thin on top of that..worst part.is we didn't realize it until we.got 26miles home to quartzsite az..I'll inform everyone I know not to go there and if you do check your food before you go home!!!!

Just walked in a few mins ago, 10:55AM(12/20/2022), the lady looked at me, and asked someone out loud, who opened the door. She then looks at me and tells me they are only serving at the drive through. I left. No sign on the door of that rule and only a few weeks ago I was here I on the same exact trip and stop time and that was not the case.. I checked the time on the door and it says 10:AM, no additional notes.

This Popeyes provides the most unprofessional customer service possible. The cashier (Sage) is horrible and should not be working anywhere near customers. The manager needs to step it up and hold his staff accountable.

Very disgusted waste of time. Drove 1.75 hours because I was craving Popeyes fried chicken. Place had customers and was open. There was no notice of the fact that when I approached the cashier and started placing my order that her response was " you can order whatever you want but we ain't got no chicken " there should have been a announcement on the door or upon greeting me and asking for my order she could have informed about the situation before I looked stupid for ordering items that weren't available. Where I live I can choose from 2 Popeyes both are 1.75 hours away. But I'll never make the same mistake again, I will never return to this location

Their chicken sandwich doesn't have anything on Chick-fil-A.. the one that I got looked like it had been fried several times because the edges of the chicken didn't have meat. My first bites into the sandwich were just bites of crispy, greesy pieces of batter. There was little chicken. So I though I would give them another try. Same thing though. It's fried several times over. Look at the picture, the pile of greesy crust on the right was pulled off the chicken. Notice the chicken is still breaded. I just removed the excess. Again on this last sandwich, my first bites tasted and felt like a mouth full of greese. EDIT. Two years later I thought I would give them another try. Again disappointed. I got out of my car to order inside and for my trouble I got to wait for 15 minutes for my food while counting 11 cars pass through the drive through only waiting a few minutes. Other customers also waiting were visibly upset as well.

wow I don't have any idea what happened to this place but 2 years ago we met the owner and spoke to him at length he said he kept this place sparkling clean and it showed. fast forward to today. dirty store rude manager under cooked chicken out of ice ect. not honoring posted specials as well. either he sold it or stopped caring. this went from our goto to never again. I guess nothing good lasts anymore. health inspector need to get a call. sorry buddy if you still own this you got a ton of work to-do including firing the manager thst was there Dec 10 around 315 pm

I have been waiting over 35 minutes for ONE sandwich — after they swore it would be ready in five minutes. I even reminded them about my order, and all I got was a half-hearted “you’ll get it eventually.” EVERYONE here is waiting way too long for their food, so it’s not just me — this place is completely disorganized. And when I finally got my food? It wasn’t even good. Not worth the wait, not worth the frustration. This is absolutely unacceptable. If you value your time, do NOT come here. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone.

So I got a very undercooked chicken sandwich. The staff was very nice and the manager hostile for some reason not an apology just very aggressive and acted like I did something to her. She seemed aggressive with staff as well. I would give the young men helping me a 5 * for fixing the issue and being helpful and apologizing. The manager should be looked at on how she treats people.
