Tried this place for lunch with my family. They have a great menu. Lots of options. Service was very friendly and quick. We saw lots of people coming in to also pick up meals. Give them a try. You won't be disappointed!
Great street tacos and Dubai Strawberry Crepe! $1 tacos on Wednesdays🌮
Thank you, Raphael, for the AMAZING service!! Had THE BEST quac!! Super cute and fun place to grab a bite to eat and a marg! The Birria Ramen is DELICIOUS!! Can't wait to come back when it's warmer to hang on the patio! Hasta luego❤️
The quesabirria tacos were amazing, the queso was delicious, and corn in the cup was amazing. Only thing missing is alcohol here
By far the best Mexican food in Boulder (probs all of Colorado) served by the kindest people! Decor is so cute! INCREDIBLE Carnitas and Birria!!!
The food was fantastic and the service... truly phenomenal. I haven't been taking care of like that since before Covid. Thank you javier!!
The food was amazing, huge portions and great service. Javier the owner was just as awesome as the food. A buddy and I went down to boulder to grab a car part and decided to stop for lunch. It was awesome to hear how this restaurant was started and how much dedication and respect Javier has for his employees and especially his company and the food he serves. If you want a tasty meal and awesome service this is your place! I’d share a photo of my food but It was completely gone before I decided to make this review, will definitely stop anytime I’m back in boulder
Everything we had was excellent. The flavors were awesome. Not as many vegetarian options. We will going back here as many times as possible. Quesabirria was awesome!!
The food is phenomenal every time I come! The only thing that could make this place better is cerveza. Value is through the roof as well! Quality ingredients and generous portions!
So to keep it short this place moved and has changed how it functions. Used to be a place where you ordered at the register and then went up grabbed your food and sat back down. Now it's a full on restaurant experience, with really good food presentations. The only thing I can say that is odd is the horchata is now called a Milk shake on they're menu but that's not enough of a reason to dock any stars at all.
Qué Rico used to be located where Kura Sushi now is — we couldn’t believe it when we saw they re-opened nearby! The new location is much cozier and inviting, and incredibly clean. We always come back for the quality of their food, the pricing, and most of all — the portions. Best priced burrito bowls and crêpes in Boulder, for sure 🫡
I am visiting from up north and wanted to try Boulder Mexican food. I was about to give up as the places I ate at were not that good and were dirty. Did you ever eat somewhere and say why did I eat there. The windows are dirty, the entrance concrete is filthy. I went to Que Rico tonight and had the best burrito ever. The place was spotless. The bathrooms looked new. I would definitely go back.
My dog fell ill last night, after watching him for hours, deprived of sleep, i had to rush him to the hospital early this morning. After a stressful morning of running from hospital to hospital, i got settled. Through my tears i was hungry and found this place next door. They were super nice to me, walked me through the menu items and even put together my drinks to go for me. The atmosphere was welcoming and kind. The person who took my order understood the stress i was going through and made ordering food from a new place the easiest thing in the world. He gave me a coupon too. The food itself, absolutely delicious. I got a carnitas quesadilla, it’s full of meat, fresh, crispy, flavorful. It’s exactly what i need right now while waiting to make sure my dog is okay. Highly recommend, not just for the food, but for the super nice people. ALWAYS TIP!!!!!
This place is absolutely delicious! Took my son there while I was visiting him at CU and the birria tacos are some of the best I’ve ever had. The quesadilla was phenomenal too! Loved the salsa bar. Would highly recommend!
I took my son there for his Bday. He was born in Mexico and I lived there for 22 years, enjoying true Mexican food. This is the real deal. The alambres was a HUGE portion, tortillas hecha en casa, la horchata WOW, quesaburria delicious. A bit pricey, but mine was enough for leftovers for dinner. The quality was amazing and taste authentic.
This was some of the best Mexican food I’ve ever had! The quesabirra was phenomenal and then the Al pastor and carne asada tacos were delicious. The owner was such a great guy, I truly did not have one bad second from when I stepped in to stepping out. Infinity/10 I will be back!
The food was incredible and their creation story is even better! I recommend the ahi tuna tostada. Truly though, all the food our group ordered was delicious!! ** Wanted to add their impressive back story. They started in 2020 (I believe) with a food truck and have expanded to 5 different brick and mortar locations! Once you try their food, you’ll understand how that was possible!
I LOVE chilaquiles and will even go out of my way to go to a restaurant if they have it on the menu, just to try it. Qué Rico! has the best chilaquiles I've had in years. Cooked perfectly, delicious salsa and pico, and great, authentic flavor. The rest of the food we roderdd was amazing and I will be back a lot. If you love mexican food you need to come here
Looking for a good street taco while in Denver and decided to try this place. Service was great and the food was as well. Nice view of the mountains from the stool seating area. Overall a nice place to grab a quick lunch. They do have a little outdoor seating area, but you'd be sitting almost in the parking lot, and definitely not suitable on hot days like today.
I was excited to try the strawberry horchata (which was easily some of the best I've ever had)! The quesabirria was delicious and filling. The salsas were also fantastic. I finished the meal with a beautiful and decadent flan. Javier, the owner, was attentive to my needs and made sure that all customers who came in were satisfied. There were so many wonderful things on the menu, including Mexican street foods and brunch items (served all-day). I will absolutely be making this one of my regular spots anytime I visit Boulder!
As a fellow Mexican, I couldn’t be more satisfied and thrilled to have this authentic Mexican restaurant that makes me feel like home (in Boulder). I had their pozole and carne asada fries and they were phenomenal. The pozole’s meat was tender and the broth was tasty. The fries were crispy and the carne asada well seasoned. This is a family owned business that started as a food truck selling antojitos (cravings/snacks). The owner Javier recently opened up this new location after closing the snack shop close by. This is a much more elevated space and menu. It now has a brunch menu and more typical Mexican dishes like birria, tamales, tortas, huaraches, and it will eventually serve alcohol (margaritas, cantaritos, Palomas). I am so proud of this local business. I know it will thrive because it has authenticity, heart and soul.
Absolutely amazing! I took a chance on a new place on a whim and was literally back the very next day because I couldn’t stop thinking about how fresh and delicious the food was. The tortillas had that home-made taste that I’ve only had before in restaurants where you can watch them being made right there in the restaurant. Insanely delicious. I got the street tacos (both times) and everything was fantastic. The spicing on the adobo was particularly complex and delicious. While I’m usually a carnivore, I got one of the veggie tacos along with the meat and I was delighted. Sometimes, in some restaurants, you get the feeling like vegetarian options are an afterthought. Not at all the case here! The veggies were juicy, succulent, and flavourful. When I’m eventually done obsessing with their tacos, I can’t wait to try the birria ramen. And my goodness are these some of the nicest folks. They just opened at this spot, so come on by, congratulate them on their opening, and treat yourself.
