Avis sur Angelino Bridgeway
I was skeptical when I heard the good reviews of this place because it is square in the middle of tourist Sausalito where you don't ordinarily get first class food. But was I ever wrong. It's a lovely restaurant with very friendly service, nice room with a view of the city, and, most importantly, fantastic food. The scallops were particularly good: small firm, and as sweet as they come. The octopus appetizer was a nice mix of ingredients, with perhaps a bit too much vinegar. The mushrooms served over the veal were incredibly flavorful. Even had a minor celebrity sighting at the bar (Barry Bonds). Seemed to be a lot of regulars. Prices about normal for an upscale restaurant: 3 courses and wine came to $135/person with tip.
I recently visited Angelino Restaurant and had a really nice experience. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, with a cozy dining area and friendly staff who made us feel welcome right away. The pizza was delicious — the crust had a great balance of crispness and chew, and the toppings were fresh and flavorful. It definitely felt like an authentic Italian touch. They also have other Italian dishes on the menu that looked tempting, so I’d love to come back and try more. Service was attentive without being overwhelming, and the location by the water adds to the charm of the place. The only reason I didn’t give 5 stars is that it can get busy, and the wait time for food was a little longer than expected. Overall, a great spot for pizza and Italian food — I’d recommend it if you’re in the area!
First dinner experience was great! The best pizza we’ve had so far in Sausalito and house made burrata - both delicious. Our server apologized for the misshapen pizza but we just thought it was made with love ❤️🥰 Quaint atmosphere, family owned and operated and great service.
Love this place, great views, great food, great service. We ordered the daily fish special, seabass on a bed of couscous and vegetables, plus the scampi entree. We ordered the squid and shrimp appetizer, but the real stars were the entrees. Recommended. Warning, adjacent parking lot doesn't post all it's prices, SUVs incur an extra charge.
Nice, cute family restaurant. The food is very delicious, wine, nice atmosphere, good service. I ordered pasta with mussels in white wine- It was fantastic and a feast for my stomach. Recommended 👌🏼
We had a delicious dinner at this lovely, cozy restaurant in downtown Sausalito. Relaxed, comfortable ambiance. We ordered the arancini as an appetizer to share. Foccacia al Rosmarino was soft and flavorful. I really enjoyed my shrimp. My husband's linguine alla pescatore dish was so good I ate all of my plate and some of his. Highly recommend Angelino for dinner while in Sausalito.
What an authentic and special late evening at Angelino! Right on the water in Sausalito across old bridgeway, this is the perfect date spot! All of our food was outstanding, specifically the farmer's market fresh heirloom tomatoes on my Caprese Salad, easily the best tomatoes I've ever had, they were glistening on the plate. The fritto miso was light and perfectly complimented the fresh brightness of the salad. Hospitality from Pasquale and the team was elevated, professional and exceptional. During the day the restaurant transforms into a fresh Italian bakery, opening earlier in the mornings, around 10am, offering a selection of fresh breads and baked goods highlighting their family recipes. The House Bread is fluffy, soft and delectable, so good that I will be coming back to check out their morning bakery! Amazing place, looking forward to my next visit!
Outstanding service from our waiter. We were the last to leave...no one rushed us. Authentic Italian food perfectly prepared in a cozy setting with a lovely view of the bay.
What a gem*! Absolutely exquisite croissants. As if baked by a Angels themselves. The light and flaky crust was as perfect as the customer service and warmth that we received from the staff here at Angelino’s. Just a perfect start to a wonderful day.
Above and beyond! This restaurant redefined Italian dining for me. A stellar experience you shouldn't miss! The food and wine set it apart already, but the view of the bay area at night adds a wonderful element to an already great atmosphere!

We that was the best cioppino I’ve ever had. I am a French chef and I know. Wish we had taken a photo but we were in the moment and had to start eating immediately. Monday night dinner. Must come here every Monday and any day of the week. Service incredible, drinks amazing. Atmosphere, super cozy, but also dreamy fancy. And the view is romantic. Enjoy!

After hit or miss dining in San Fran, this place was amazing. Quality was high and portions appropriate. View was perfect. Fam had veggie starter, lasagna, fusilini bolognese, corn chowder, shrimp salad. All were so good. We didn’t wait at all for service. Would love to return here.
Just back from a delicious and delightful dinner at Angelino’s. We ordered the day’s special seafood pizza and oh my goodness- it was delicious! The pizza crust is light, airy, chewy and crispy all at once. My husband and I aren’t big eaters but we ate the whole pizza and our dinner clean! I can’t wait to go back and have one of Angelino’s pizzas soon. The ambience- 8/8 Sturgeon moon- last full moon this summer- was spectacular, service was so efficient, thoughtful and welcoming, and the food is always on point. This is a place where locals and people in the know go to. Thank you for serving top notch food and service that just gets it!
Indulging in authentic Italian flavors at this restaurant was an absolute treat! The bolognese was rich and flavorful, perfectly complemented by the freshly made noodles. The bread, with its crispy exterior and pillowy soft interior, was a delightful addition to the meal. However, the noisy ambiance slightly dampened the dining experience. And the price was a little pricey overall given the portion of one pasta served. Nevertheless, for those craving genuine Italian fare, this spot is worth a visit! 🍝🇮🇹
Really lovely and renovated restaurant on the SF Bay. Great Italian food and prices above most similar restaurants. With good reason.

The waiter forgot about our drink order. Furthermore, he lost our entree orders. Thankfully, the chef saved the day by being an absolute charmer and brought us both desserts on the house!
Love the restaurant super cute. The lady seating was super sweet. Food was phenomenal specially the bolognese. Service was okay, there was a server there I wish I remembered his name but he was more attentive than our server.

The setting is gorgeous, so that adds a wonderful ambiance. Having just visited Italy, the food here was good but not amazing. We had the focaccia, gnocchi and chicken secondi. The waitstaff was surprisingly standoffish and brusque the entire time. That was pretty off putting, especially given the prices. I expect excellent service at this price point
Great food and atmosphere. Unfortunately there were several things that led us to give a 3 star. The woman who was at the front yelled across the room at the bartender - very unprofessional. Wine bottle we ordered was a 2018, bottle that was brought to the table was a 2020. Was not expecting the burrata to be half of a portion.

For the price, I was pretty disappointed. The pizza was ok. Crust was flaky, almost like a pastry instead of pizza crust. The gnocchi was horrible. I expected an italian restaurant to have wonderful gnocchi and this wasn't good at all. Server wasn't very attentive. View is beautiful, you can sit outside.
I was very disappointed by the linguine vongole, neither the pasta nor the clams had much flavors. My kids enjoyed the magherita pizza, which looked like an average skinny cheese pizza. The service was below average and it looks like a small number of servers working many tables. Bread never came even though we asked for it. We sat outside which had an amazing view. My daughter was cold and asked for the heat lamp to be turned on. The server couldn't turn it on, went away without saying anything. We waited another 8 min before someone else came to turn it on, but it barely worked and we didn't feel any warmth from it. It was early July and 55 degrees, which made for a cold experience. The bill for 3 main dishes and 1 glass of wine was $140. I'm happy to overpay for good food and experience but it was neither.

First I want to say that the service was good, the servers were kind and prompt. But the food and drink was so lackluster. Linguine Vongole - felt like only a half portion (not filling). The 'white wine sauce' tasted nothing like a sauce, it was oily and deplete. Tasted like it should have been $15 cheaper Manhattan Cocktail - dive bar bottom shelf quality (bad) Bread - tasted like the bread you buy in the plastic bag at Walmart .
Overall 1/5, disappointed. Here’s my order: Pizza Margherita - 3/5, crust was burned. Ravioli- 1/5, dry, has no flavor. Scampi with shrimp - 🍤 🍤 🍤 🍤/5, because shrimp was tasty. Appetizers aren’t bad. Lentil soup - well, 0/5. Because it looked like a dog food and did not taste well. We had one more salty food, forgot its name 🙃 The view is beautiful tho 🤷🏻♀️
