Avis sur Waypoint Pizza Tiburon
Super cute pizza place in downtown Tiburon. We got a simple pepperoni pizza and it was one of the best that I’ve ever had! Awesome way to refuel after some hiking!
I was a Cheetah delivery driver and the manager gave me 2 of the best slices of pizza I've ever had in my life. Thanks again.
Very nice, lil pizzeria, in downtown Tiburon, the food was fresh n hot. The gals who provided our service were really pleasant n friendly.
Great tasting pizza! Up there as one of the best slices in Marin! NY style, great cheese flavor, good crunch to the dough while maintaining a soft interior! I will say I miss their old tomato sauce they used over a decade ago. It added a spicy kick and was the right amount of tang. But truly a great pizza place A+
It's all about the experience! You can't do any better than a table out front, feeling the breeze off the Bay, eating some great pizza, and just relaxing. I am picky about my pizza and their pizza is a 9/10 for me. Great stuff at any price. My wife and I shared a salad - healthy and very good. But the family favorite are the pizza sticks. Who knew? Don't pass on Waypoint; can't beat the experience.
Great Flippin pizza at a great price. Terrific service. I hit this place every trip to Angel Island and I always look froward to eating here!
Delicious pizza. A little on the pricey side for us non-Marin people, but more affordable than most places in the area. Get the pomodoro.
Came in for a quick sit down meal of a couple slices and a beer. Unfortunately, we were in a hurry because we were seeing a movie around the corner. The slices ended up taking a long time, so we apologized and said that we had to go. At that point, out came the slices, and they gave them to us complementary for the inconvenience. Very friendly staff, and good pizza. We will definitely come back again when we have more time!
This place was absolutely fantastic! I brought the wife and kiddos here. We had a combination of salad, pasta, soup, and Pizza. Everything was fresh and tasty. Very cute and fun atmosphere. I highly recommend it!
Probably the best place to get some pizza or the WALK THE FLANK in Tiburon. Great food , great beer or wine and a true community supporter!
Love waypoint pizza!!! Great service, fast and nice staff. Owners are super sweet as well. Pizza is delicious, and so are the salads. And don't even get me started with how good the dough sticks are. Overall love this place, other negative reviews are invalid.
I had a delightful experience at the Waypoint pizza. The pizza was delicious, the children's pasta with chicken was a hit, and the adult pasta was equally satisfying. The service was prompt, and the ambiance was enhanced by the Super Bowl showing on TV. A fast, tasty, and overall enjoyable visit.
📍 15 Main St, Tiburon, CA 94920 is a Landmark 19th-century building housing a casual eatery for pizza, pasta & sandwiches. I recommend a single slice of pie from Waypoint Pizza if you are on the move. This photo of its outdoor seating was captured on August 30th, 2024. ★★★★★
After conquering the golden bridge trail that leads you to this pizza spot, is the best way to refuel. Family friendly. Pizza was well done and the crust was nice and crunchy enough to enjoy it. Pasta was perfectly cooked. A little bit spicy to give it an extra taste.
The shrimp pesto was amazing. Great service. Fresh out of the oven cookie!
Beautiful spot by the water with amazing pizza!! Would recommend the Shrimp Pesto Pizza, it was unique and super fresh
I had shrimp pesto pizza. That was AMAZING!!! So GOOD!!! I couldn't stop eating till it was all gone even though I was so full. The server there is totally cute, too. Great place. Highly recommend it!

This place is kid friendly and the pizza is really good. We also had shrimp scampi which was tasty as well. This was a perfect spot during the NFC championship or for any live sports you want to watch. Would come back again if in town.
Very delicious PIZZA, very nice collection of pizza, salad, pasta , shrimp pasta , bbq chicken PIZZA, shrimp PIZZA, very nice, friendly, reasonable prices, great service, great taste just beside the ferry in the heart of the beautiful Tiburon ...
I consider myself a pizza snob and all I can say is I’m OBSESSED with Waypoints pizza. I grabbed one to go late last night and it was out of this world. I ate the entire thing and I’m not a big eater 😂😂 Keep up the good work!!
Had nice pizza after visiting angel island. Service is quick and staff is also friendly.

Pizza was amazing. Got a pepperoni pizza with green bell peppers on it. Establishment was cute.
Best spot in the area. Amazing food and even better staff. My wife and I lived above this spot and couldn’t get enough of it.
We were immediately greeted when we came in, it was clean with comfortable seating pleasant environment , the waitress was friendly answered all our questions ,the pizza was delicious , will definitely be back !
Pizza was fresh, dough light and crusty. Had the sausage special. Taco Truck beer was a perfect paring. Perfect meal. Wife not a pizza person and ate 4 slices.

Akin to Amici's, this pizza is consistently delicious, no matter the toppings.... and it's never oily. Never. Fresh toppings, crispy thin crust. Great salads, too. They also deliver on the water by boat, sometimes. That's super cool. For this, I judge them even higher than Tripadvisor or Yelp's 5 star rating. LOL.
We ordered Pizza on the sheet and absolutely loved it. The dough was so well cooked and soft to the core. Excellent fresh ingredients and the BBQ sauce on my pizza was absolutely fantastic. This is a cute little place in Tubiron CA if you want a quick bite to eat and need a nice outside seating experience. The manager/server was very kind and had a great conversation with us. Highly recommend this place if you are in the area.
To the owner/manager: the busser who was working the lunch shift on 07/30 should be promoted to a server. He hustles, understands the flow of a restaurant, and was picking up the slack of the server who was entitled and sloppy, and was flirting with her boyfriend sitting on the counter, instead of paying attention to her tables. She took the order without writing it down and of course forgot a bunch of things. It was the busser that checked and kept fixing her messes. I don’t know if that server (Olivia) is the daughter of the owner but it’s lame to see this scenario where she makes a higher percentage of the tips when the busser is the one who actually cares about your customers and works really hard. He needs to be promoted to a server, and this girl needs to be trained on the right attitude for the hospitality industry.
We had cheese pizza by the slice and though it was pretty good. Definitely the more traditional NYC style pizza, thin, lite on the sauce. Our food came out pretty quick, but again got it by the slice.
Jack was our to go server for our $5 cheese slices. Our order was ready and boxed in 9 minutes, and the total with tip and tax was $23.00 for 4 slices. The pizza slices tasted freshly-made, were thin crust, authentic, albeit on the slightly flavorless side. I would say the pizza dough was over - handled, as it did not rise as expected, suggesting the delicate gluten chains were damaged, causing the result of a slightly chewy dough. Nearby street parking, or an adjacent lot, two bathrooms both clean, and gender neutral, with one bathroom being wheelchair accessible, alcoholic beverages served, charmingly nautical decor, and good, friendly service. $$$ out of $$$$$. I would recommend Waypoint Pizza in Tiburon, CA, to get the job done, but not for an extraordinary dining experience.
Delicious pizza!!. Service was a bit slow tough. We waited several minutes on a table outside until waiter came to bring the menus. There was miscommunication between two waiters and both thought the other one had taken our order.

Salad and pasta were lovely, the pizza was a bit of a disappointment. Not quite the crust I expected and just a bit lackluster.
Pros: staff was cordial - fresh dough - fast service Cons: Expansive - very few ingredients on the pizza - nothing special about the pizza but the dough - Soup had no salt, no flavors and lots of bell pepper skin in it. No vegan cheese.
When in downtown Tiburon and you want pizza, Waypoint is convenient and pleasant. Ingredients are fresh, pricing is fair for a very expensive zipcode. It's Good but not great. We've ordered takeout twice for late lunch, 1-1:30 pm on weekdays during Covid-19 distancing. We chose CRISPY crust both times but the first time it wasn't at all. Today's Gourmet Sausage pizza was boring, even the Italian Sausage was very mild. The marinara sauce tasted like tomato paste. Evidently they forgot the "herbs and spices" on the ingredient list (like KFC's fabled ones.) Our first order was halfsies - the 4 same veggies that gourmet sausage has, and the other half substituted artichoke for black olive. Maybe they remembered those herbs and spices because we enjoyed the flavor but not the moist, soft crust. Customizing your pizza - If you like a Specialty pizza except for 1 ingredient you could save some of what you would pay for building your own pizza by ordering the Specialty, omitting that ingredient and adding a substitute. I could have saved $3.50 on my first order by doing that. However, Omitting an ingredient doesn't give a credit not even for a substitution.
Horrible service while ordering food from a certain individual, otherwise good food.
Pizza is good, customer service is definitely not a highlight. We politely asked for water and were told straight up “no” and then watched 3 other tables who had arrived after us get their drinks. We then asked again and the waiter decided to cop an attitude: “I heard you the first time, I’m busy with other tables right now, ok?!” Jeez….
We discovered Waypoint Pizza via a food delivery service, which seems to be the restaurant's preferred way of ordering and doing business. If you call, their phone system directs you to order online. With that said, we tried this restaurant several times because it was good...almost really good. But, the items we ordered were always missing ingredients as listed on the menu. Once we requested an additional topping, only for that to be forgotten. Knowing the delivery service has nothing to do with the quality of the food, I called Waypoint directly. I expressed that we liked their food, but wished it could be made as described on the menu, and orders could be made as indicated and paid for. I made it clear I wasn't asking for a refund, but wanted to bring the last several errors to their attention directly. The man I spoke to basically said sometimes they just get too busy and don't pay attention to the orders. Honest, I guess, but no solution. I asked if the ingredients listed on the menu were incorrect and was told the menu was accurate. We ordered 2 more times, and the ingredients were sparser and sparser, and still lacking items listed on the menu. A request for extra dressing was overlooked. Pretty basic. So, we're done. And it's a bummer.
Good pizza, overpriced but that's what you get in Tiburon. 2 star rating is because we ordered 2 pizzas at the exact same time on the same ticket and they came out 20 minutes apart. The second was for a gluten free person so we couldn't share, and there was no real sense of urgency to correct or an oops we messed up and we'll make it right. Probably won't be coming back.
Delivery SCAM ALERT!!!! I would not have written this review if Waypoint would have done the right thing... they didn't. We ordered ONE Pizza and four cans of Coke for delivery. All in all $27.50 incl tax. Guy shows up 50 minutes later, my wife (ASIAN) opens the door and he is asking for $44,-- not even blinking an eye. I come down the stairs and ask "HOW MUCH????". He tells me less convincing that the pizza is 15.50 and one Coke is $2.50 plus tax = $44,-- I told him that that's not going to happened and I want to see a receipt. He'd to go to the car to get it and it showed $41,-- Now my alarm is up and I check: 2 gourmet pizza $31,-- 4 coke ($2.00) 8,-- tax 41,-- He wanted to charge me $2.50 for a coke and Waypoint wanted to charge me twice for the pizza!!!! So he is embarrassed because he has been caught and tells me to just take off 15.50. Where did the guy graduate??? SO I call Waypoint to figure out how much I REALLY owe, $27,50 NOT $44 or $41 or something close to something. The guy on the phone apologized. Here is the point, both of them try to screw the wrong guy. Hell, it's Tiburon. How many order for delivery and do not check or even care how much they pay. Looks like you ARE GETTING SCREWED BY WAYPOINT PIZZA. My take on this is, I will have my kid get a job there and pay that way for his school. I called in again, and the same guy who takes the order took my complaint and told me he will "talk to the guy". NO MY FRIEND, THAT'S"S NOT THE WAY IT WORKS. YOU GUYS WILL CONTINUE THIS PRACTICE WITHOUT EVEN TAKE A BREAK. The pizza was "OK" BTW. Waypoint, don't call me or offer free pizza for the rest of the year. I don't like to get the flu,, mmmkey? Not going to order there again either. UPDATE: Actually will never order there again. Ended up getting sick after eating the pizza spend the night not in bed and almost went to the ER!
TERRIBLE service. I don't recommend this restaurant at all. 1 hour 10 minutes to get a simple salad and a Hawaiian pizza. Don't waste your time coming here at all. They kept giving us excuses for why other people coming in after us got their food but we didn't. It turned out they forgot about our order but we're not apologetic about it at all. And they completely forgot our beers. They never even brought them.
I've read many of these reviews and I'm left asking myself if the majority of these people know what good pizza tastes like. After traveling the county I would say I have a decent idea of what a good pizza ought to resemble. To be honest, I would rather purchase a frozen pizza because there is at least some flavor. The price they charge for their pizzas is ridiculous. After seeing their prices you'd expect top quality Pizza, but what you'll find is a tasteless slab of of cooked dough, or burnt. If I were them, I would be ashamed of charging such an outrageous price for pizza that the customer could make infinitely better in their own home.
Never again...tried it twice and both times left with a bad taste in my mouth. Ingredients are good enough, but do not justify a $32 pizza. They treat the regulars much better than the occasionals. I'm a local, but I waited for 10 min standing there before anyone greeted me because the guy behind the register was in a conversation with someone waiting for a to go order. Plus, they don't know how to cook a pizza. I ordered it well done,crispy...and I got doughy and out was a mess to eat. It could be sooo much better, but they just don't try.
Worst experience ever.....warning: thieves Please read all reviews before giving this place a chance.......I wish I would have...they stole $52 from me... If you order delivery, it will arrive cold and they will not offer to remake and/or redeliver a fresh hot pie. My GF and I were staying at The Lodge Hotel, just a few blocks away, and on a rainy day decided to have our dinner delivered so we wouldn't have to go outside. So, I ordered $44 worth of food at Waypoint Pizza; we ordered a hot pizza, a hot cream of mushroom soup and a salad. The following were delivered; cold pizza, cold soup and a half of a salad. I called the restaurant and said that all of our food arrived cold. The lady on the phone said "well you did order delivery, so it won't be hot" so I asked to speak to a manager, and she said she is the owner...wow So I asked her again...."you mean to tell me that you don't offer hot delivery? Don't you own hot pizza bags to keep the food hot? Especially on a cold rainy day like today?" And she replied that they don't get guarantee hot food on deliveries, and if I want a new pizza I will have to come and pick it up myself.....in the rain. (Seriously?) (We are from Midwest and winters drop below zero some days, and we can always get a hot pizza delivered without any issues, and if we ever have an issue they will fix it asap and redeliver. Or refund money...depending on the situation (which rarely happens) Long story short, I walked to the restaurant with my girlfriend in the rain and brought back all of the food that was delivered untouched, and asked for a refund. The owner was already gone (not even 15 min after she hung up the phone), and the manager was rude and refused to refund the money. He kept saying I'll make you a new pizza and I'll have it delivered but will not refund the money, even though I said I just want my money back. (I told him we already asked for redelivery and were told no-carry out only, so just please refund the money). Manager called the owner and she told him that we can not have a refund, so whether we take our original food back with us or not, they will only remake the pizza, but nothing else. And no refund......... (Still in shock from the way we were treated) Basically, we didn't get our money refunded, or another pizza. So I paid ($52 incl the tip) to walk in the rain with food we couldn't eat and paid for a second dinner next door (which was delimited Italian) Also, the cooks were speaking in Spanish and using profanity and vulgar inappropriate language, including sexual remarks towards my girlfriend, they didn't think we could understand but we do speak multiple languages, including Spanish (which isn't our native tongue but we are fluent). But due to all the kids around eating, we ignored them, even though they all laughed about what they said including the manager, slime bag. These owners don't care about their customers, or care to offer good customer service, they definitely don't care if the food they offer is made right Or served hot. I hope no one else gets taken advantage of, however I doubt there any repeat customers. I've read some other reviews and looks like there were others who had poor experiences with the owners and the restaurant. I hope we are the last.....
Their pizzas were consistently much smaller than they claimed they'd be. Being off by 1.5 inches amounts to more than a slice of pizza missing.
Worst pizza I’ve ever had. Chuck E Cheese pizza is better. Ordered the Gourmet Sausage pizza, pepperoni pizza, and marinara pasta. Terrible. As soon as I went to pick a slice of the Gourmet Sausage pizza up, the slice flopped because it was so greasy and undercooked. The vegetables on the Gourmet Sausage pizza were cold and hard, obviously not cooked on the pizza. Barely any sauce on both of the pizzas. What’s worse is that the Gourmet Sausage pizza was $31. I understand that you need to pay the bills, but at least make the food good. The pepperonis on both pizzas were way too salty. Both pizzas were extremely greasy. Pasta was basic store bought penne with two frozen Walmart meatballs added on top. Do not waste your money at this place.
The worst pizza for an atrocious price!

Great pizza dough with otherwise unremarkable sauce and toppings. Ordered a salad that never came, and when I asked for a refund, they refunded only the base price of the salad without tax or tip. Update: I was told this refund would come through on my credit card, and I never got the refund. Updating this review to 1 star and will return to 3 stars if I get the refund for my food that never came.
