I have had a couple of experiences with this location. They have all been positive. I almost never give 5 star rating for locations, but this one gets one. Their staff, from my experience, has been friendly, efficient, and knowledgeable. The food is the norm for Subway stores. Not exceptionally good not exceptionally bad just their standard fare. But visiting this location always leaves me with a smile on my face.

I pass by three closer subways to come here every time I want subway. I generally order on the app and come to pick up. My order is always ready, correct, and well-made when I arrive, and I am in and out in seconds. The veggies and bread are always fresh. I've never had a problem with my order here. This location usually participates in the mobile promos too, which is nice. Overall, it's well worth traveling a little extra to know that I'm getting what I expect when I order here.

Lady answered the phone.. rude service. But understandable I suppose since my family kept telling me to change the order at the last minute.. recommend calling when your family or significant other actually knows what the heck they want..

Service was fast and friendly. The person made my large Turkey sub the way I wanted it. Seems like the prices have went up on subs it has been awhile since I have been in a subway. The large Turkey sub came to $10 I know I added bacon to it which was little extra. But I do not think that is a very good price for a large sub.

ANYWAYS, I was about midway into eating my sandwich i found plastic into my food. I HOPE they have better safe guards for these things. I was already back at my destination so couldn't go back.

Very very expensive! I ordered a salad. Literally lettuce and cucumber. No meat. No cheese. No dressing nothing. And it was $15... I will never go back

There is a female employee at this establishment that continues to bad mouth my family and I to her fellow employees. I find this behavior both immature and highly unprofessional especially since our kids no longer date and haven’t for years. Highly recommend corporate getting involved this kind of slander is bad for business.

I usually grab subs from here frequently.. and never had an issue until today. One of the employees had thrown my change AT me, and made excuses after I told her to not do that again next time. I'll stick to just going to the mom and pop shops from now on.

I love subway and go there very frequently. Sadly I hate coming to this one due to the fact of rude staff. If I come in to spend my money in your store I expect my food to be done right and for you to crack a little bit of a smile instead of being rude. It's happened plenty of times and it's always the same 3 people who are very miserable. I would give it 5 stars if these issues get resolved.

DEAD ANTS IN SODA!!! We had drank some before we noticed but as soon as we did we called immediately for a full refund of $25. After possibly swallowing some ants I was disgusted so we were not about to eat the sub either. We were told they would only refund the soda. When we asked for a way to contact a manger they wouldn’t give us any information, no corporate number, nothing. After sharing a picture on social media many people reached out and I was thankfully able to get the owners name and number because days were going by and I was getting no where. After speaking with owner she is refusing to refund our whole order because she’s mad I made a post🙄?! NYS Health Department needs to check this place

I recently went to this Subway because my mother wanted Subway and I ordered on the app, I had to be to work in Saratoga, so I was in a rush and actually meant to order from Amsterdam because the time before this I went in and stood there for these kids to get a free 6 inch & free cookies that the girl gave them at no charge just to have my order made like a 2 year old, I digress.. so I send my boyfriend in to get the subs I’m in a hurry as it is, so I tell him to be fast all he knew was to grab the subs, normally I’d get 3, but I only had ordered 2.. I’m flying to drop off my moms sub, and after I go to drop him off I noticed there was still 2 subs, I said “oh shit babe I forgot to tell you we were splitting a sub that subs not ours. I felt absolutely terrible and if I wasn’t already 30 minutes the other way I would of brought it back to the store. I called multiple times that night and nobody answered, think they were closed?? Fast forward 2 weeks later, the state troopers are at my mothers house, my house, my boyfriends house, over the sub! TWO WEEKS LATER. I’m disgusted. I had to work this weekend Sat-Monday 10pm-7am and tried getting in touch with the owner who also owns the one in Mayfield, but no call- called every day since the troopers came!! Even tried getting a full name & number to talk like adults and get this situation resolved.. but today my boyfriend got told he will be arrested and charged over it.. so to whoever you are, I hope you realize that this whole situation is a misunderstanding and drop the charges.. if I wanted to steal subs or have my boyfriend do so I wouldn’t have ordered 2 subs!! You’re not only losing a customer, I will be going public and speaking about this absolute insane situation, shit happens, you don’t know what ppl are going through- you can’t press charges bc of how someone “looks” what the heck is wrong with you. I watch this man who has lost BOTH his parents in recent years struggle with PTSD, ADHD, Anxiety, severe depression etc, and instead of calling us back you’re gonna ruin more of someone’s life over a $8 sub that NOBODY STOLE?! Nobody even ate it!!! It was like veggies w no sauce!!! Unbelievable and disgusting!!! I watched the worker give free cookies to her friends the visit prior as they made the sloppiest subs possible & the cookies probably cost more then that sub let’s be honest, so is she getting arrested to??? I’m genuinely curious?!?! Unbelievable but because I’m a nice person I smile and keep it moving... It takes a lot to bring me to this point .. but SUBWAY in Vails Mills NY, this is absurd!!!! I’ll gladly pay whatever!!! And ill never return!!! Please reconsider these absurd charges over a honest mistake!! Judging someone’s intentions on how they look/act is also discrimination. Quite frankly this could easily turn into a defamation lawsuit as well as discrimination.

Was here a few weeks ago and went to get ice in my cup and noticed many black flakes of something fall into my cup. Looked up the ice maker and it is clearly filled with mold/dirt. Clearly not ever cleaned. Should’ve snapped a picture. So I’m spending $18+ for a small sub, chips and drink just to be made sick? Owner and management need to make sure health codes are followed. People will get sick.
