If you go early this place is relaxing and not bustling. Located in Times Square, Dear Irving is elegant and shows class. There are good views of the city too. I suggest trying the Grand Central Smash and fries.

The beautifully designed indoor space, the spectacular bar and charming outdoor patio create the perfect ambiance, enhanced by a unique billboard view that captures the lively spirit of midtown without being totally in it. Their cocktail menu is a highlight, featuring delicious and creatively crafted drinks that perfectly complement the flavorful small bites. If you’ve been to the one on Hudson, you’ll be delighted to find some fan favorites on the menu. What truly elevates the experience, however, is the exceptional service; manager Jermaine and all staff treated us like GOLD, ensuring a warm and welcoming atmosphere. If you're looking for a place that combines great food, drinks, and top-notch hospitality especially post show, this is a must-visit!

Incredible space. Very beautiful spirits list. I had a perfect vieux carre from Sasha. I had an excellent sazerac from Miranda. The n/a options were vast loved the sparkling. Bites are delicious.

I am in love with Dear Irving Broadway! This place is magic. from the moment you walk in it exudes a sultry NYC and glamour. The views from the outdoor terrace of Broadway is a whole vibe. Went there with my girlfriends and we were treated like Queens. Fun night, great cocktails, delicious Bar bites. Love the Tuna, Hot Dog, Sliders... OMG The caviar was delicious and price was reasonable, considering the upscale vibe. My new go to Lounge!

If you’re thinking about hosting an event in NYC - this is your hidden gem spot that will impress you in every way. Couldn’t recommend it more. My wife and I had our one-year anniversary party at Dear Irving on Broadway, and wow - we truly couldn’t have picked a better place. We've been to the other Dear Irving locations, but this is by far the best one in Manhattan. Firstly, the space is brand new and absolutely gorgeous - classy and upscale. From the very beginning, the Dear Irving Broadway team made us feel taken care of. We had a lot of ideas (some definitely extra 😅), and they were so patient, supportive, and accommodating through all of it. They truly brought our visions to life and made everything a seamless experience. Ok - now on to the cocktails. They were unreal - easily some of the best drinks you’ll find in Manhattan. They even let us personalize cocktail names for the night, which was such a fun and thoughtful touch that our guests loved. Huge shoutout to Billy, the General Manager, who made sure everything ran smoothly and set the room up exactly how we envisioned it. And Roman, the Director of Events, was incredible to work with for months leading up to the party - always responsive, organized, and genuinely invested in making it special for us. From the tasting to the setup to the actual event night, everything felt seamless. The staff was attentive, the food was amazing, and the entire vibe was perfect. We’re so grateful we got to celebrate such a meaningful milestone there.

This bar is absolutely gorgeous! The space inside and outside is beautiful, with such a relaxing vibe that makes it the perfect place to unwind. The cocktails were amazing - expertly crafted and delicious! What really stood out, though, was the staff. Everyone was so friendly and welcoming, especially our server, Cody, who went above and beyond to make our experience even more enjoyable. Highly recommend this place for a great time!

This was my second time at Dear Irving on Broadway, and both visits were great. While the first time I’d made a reservation, this time we stopped in on a whim to try our luck, and they sat us at the bar. The bartender was great, and the drinks were super. He made my friend and me two very different variations on the same cocktail, which was fun. While the menu is by no means cheap, everything was good, and we were not disappointed. All the staff, including the host and the server, were lovely to us. The place is also nicely decorated, with good lighting, music, and ambience. I look forward to coming here again.

Love love love this new cocktail lounge! It had a really cool vibe with the see-through elevator, and arriving into a chic art-deco-style cocktail lounge. The drinks were superb, and there were a variety of spirit-forward and softer cocktails. The nibbles were delicious, the fries (yum!), the wagyu sliders (would eat over and over), the pastrami little sandwiches (awesome) and rock shrimp were so tasty. It's great to find a cocktail lounge close to Columbus Circle, easy to get to. Also love the wallpaper!

Dear Irving on Broadway is such an experience! We had reservations, and were welcomed immediately. The staff were very accommodating and friendly, the atmosphere is beautiful and comfortable, and the cocktails are phenomenal. We had the peach and dagger, deacon blues and hail mehri for our first round, and HAD to repeat for 3 hail mehris the second round! New favorite cocktail for sure. Can't speak to the food because we had dinner elsewhere, but we'd definitely go back to try more!

Good service and drinks. For rooftop, it's pretty low, only on fifth floor, but still worthy of a drink.

It wasn’t busy at all, and honestly you could just stroll in off the street. What really threw me off? The complete lack of a dress code. I mean, we literally saw someone in a swimsuit with a fishnet cover-up at a cocktail lounge. If you’re going for “classy speakeasy,” maybe start by asking guests to put some pants on. It’s a cute place for a quick drink, but if you’re looking for exclusivity or polish, this ain’t it.

The drinks themselves were not bad but not the best, so I’d recommend this place if you want the nice deco and views rather than for the drinks.
