Mi Casita is a cosy, comfortable small restaurant with excellent food. The server was friendly, the food came out quickly and was all fresh. It’s very reasonably priced — dinner for 3 with leftovers for one more serving was $65 after a tip. Pollo guisado, plantains, and shrimp soup all highly recommended.

the food is authentic.. always freshly cooked.. the beans are amazing.. i get shredded chicken tacos and they are amaze.. my hubbs get's tamales..they are huge and flavorful.. always a good experience.

I did get food poisoning the day after eating here, but literally the food is so good I will be returning regardless. Everything is clean and fresh- I think I just got a bad batch of lettuce or something.

I have experienced the finest foods from around the world. This place IS one of them. Genuine and wholesome great ingredients. During the week at lunch the waitress is on point. Any other time the help is just help. But the food is usually four star. The price is just right. Anyone writing a bad review either owns a local restaurant that is not doing any business or is not experienced in eating out and how to get what they pay for. I believe that the patrons that are not satisfied should be of age to understand how to communicate their needs to an establishment instead of hissing, crying and showing off their lack of finesse.

We went pretty late at night. The lady who worked there didn't speak much English but obviously understood our orders just fine. The food was great, with an interesting local menu. I found the food delicious and the service great.

Don't write reviews often, but just had an amazing Christmas day dinner from this place. Very authentic and tasty. Wish I could take this restaurant back to Philly, and hope they're around next time we're in Kingston!

She is new but I think that has nothing to do with it. I feel that she is a bit rude and I took some friends to Mi casita and they noticed as well. Food is delicious and the Atol de elote are to die for.

Never ate here not really into Mexican food besides tacos just my opinion but it's located on Broadway in Kingston I would suggest anybody in the Mexican food give it a try.

In a town with more than 10 Mexican restaurants, this one fails to stand out. I took a 16-year old boy and he ate only half his burrito. He simply just didn't like it. My tacos were small and just ok. The chicken tamale was all breading except for a half a chicken wing buried in it (????). And the service was slow and indifferent...even though we were the only people in the whole place. Decor looks like it hasn't been changed in decades. The whole meal cost (with two drinks and chips/guac) was only $24 which is why I gave 2 stars instead of 1. But for a few extra $$$, you can do much better at Diego's, just a few blocks away.

I am all for supporting small businesses but tonight I unfortunately had a terrible experience. I was asked 10 times what I wanted and 10 times I stated what I wanted and it was still wrong when I got it. I ordered a torta with chicken and chorizo I got steak and chorizo I didn't make a fuss and attempted to eat it but it was gross. I was only aabl to take 2 bites my girlfriend's chimichanga was equally terrible no flavor. I asked for the bill expecting the torta to be taken off being that it was there mistake not mine. I brought it to the waitresses attention she then went into the kitchen and came back and said there was nothing she could do. Nothing worse than leaving a restaurant dissatisfied, hungry, and having to pay for it!!! Needless to say I would never step foot back in this establishment and you think the owner would have stepped out of the back and tried to correct the ssituatio.... zero stars!!!!!!!

Racist teenagers sitting at a table at noon on a weekday so I'll assume skipping school, as well. I speak Spanish enough to understand ethnic slurs toward the only white people in the place. Very loud and obnoxious. Did I mention racist? TV was on Telemundo but the channel was non-stop tweaking/glitching so that noise was quite annoying. An employee's child was sitting at a table watching videos with an exceptionally loud smartphone. So far the atmosphere is atrocious. We were finally addressed 15 minutes after sitting down and ordered two very simple dishes. EVERY SINGLE non-white person who came in after us was addressed, ordered AND served before I finally got up to ask (40 minutes later) where our food was. Several "no habla"'s later a guy came out from the kitchen asking us what we ordered. The girl we ordered from is of course no where to be seen. We realize that our order was non-existent so we bounced. It was not busy but it was VERY selective in who got served. One hour waste of time. Quite possibly racist.

Very disappointed with this place we called to place a order for lunch and the told me there was noone there who speaks English at this time in the restaurant. So I asked the lady who just said that in English lol if she wanted to at least try to take the order cause she seemed to have just said that fine she said no. I see a real problem with this being this is America

Music and TV both played loudly throughout our meal despite requests to turn the TV down. Food was pretty bad and service was awful. We had to ask for everything from salsa to plates. When we began ordering we were told the only meat option was chicken but then it got wishy washy as we ordered. When the “fajitas” came, they included chicken, beef, and shrimp but no tortillas. When we asked for them, we got really thick ones (gorditas?) that were not suitable for fajitas. Chicken nachos had no chicken. Tacos were for my niece who has a gluten intolerance, so we double checked to make sure they would come with corn tortillas and were assured they would. They arrived with very white tortillas which the rest of us tasted. They were flour. Back they went. My niece ate rice and beans for dinner. $60 for dinner for 3 adults and a kid isn’t bad, but for the quality and service, you can find much better meals in Kingston.
