10/5!!! This place serves the best ramen I’ve tried in NYC so far. The prices are extremely competitive, and the value for money is unbeatable. I go back often and recommend it to everyone. Staff is amazing. Special shout-out to the draft beer. This great ramen warms me up whenever its cold outside, and its beer refreshes me when its too warm. I always have a good reason to go, and I never deny myself the pleasure. My go to

Really small dining area so best to finish up your meal and make way for other diners. Their chicken broth is very good and perfect during the colder months. Menu is not huge but what they do they do quite well. Food comes quite quickly and service is quick and efficient. Worth a visit if you’re in the area.

Best ramen in Hell’s Kitchen. It’s not always easy to find a seat, but service is great!

The chicken curry ramen was so so good. The place is duper crowded so be ready to wait. But it’s worth the wait!!

We used to live up in Hell’s Kitchen, so this was a staple for us once we finally discovered it. Truly the best ramen in nyc, this one takes the cake! Great ambiance and quick service. Highly recommend!

My son and daughter-in-law took me to this hidden gem, as it is one of their favorite spots. It did not disappoint; the ramen was amazing. It is a tiny, cozy restaurant with just a few tables, but the food was so good!

Tucked below street level, this cozy ramen spot feels like one of New York City’s hidden treasures. The space is small, with only a few tables and mostly bar seating, creating an intimate, authentic atmosphere that’s perfect for a quick pre-show meal. We went around 5 p.m. before a Broadway performance, and by the time we left an hour later, a line was already forming out the door—a clear sign of its popularity. The ramen was fantastic, with rich, flavorful broth and perfectly cooked noodles that hit all the right notes of comfort and depth. A delicious, no-frills gem that’s well worth seeking out.

If I want to visit a Japanese restaurant, I want to feel like I'm in a Japanese restaurant. This ramen place gave me that feeling, that is one main reason why I love this place more than all other places in the city. Service is perfect. If you like more intense flavor, I recommend you add more extra garlic paste. I would say when I want to hangout with my dear friends, have a good meal, I may choose this place.

Great option for Ramen, confident menu with authentic choices. The dish comes filled with toppings, bouncy noodles and chicken broth. Would definitely recommend the octopus and dumplings.

I left a review 3 years ago and hands down, Toribro is still the best ramen I’ve had in my life! Their spot is a cozy and authentic ramen is served. The food is prepared delicately and at the time you order, all fresh! This is definitely a nice experience, it reminds me of a small home kitchen with all the nice smell covering the nose with delicious scents!! 100%recommend! If you come in rush hour and weekends there will be a line so give yourself time to come enjoy.

Pretty good ramen, and a decent spicy sauce. Not outstanding, but definitely worth checking. Pretty small place, just two tables and bar stools.

This place really transports! The interior is small and very similar to ramen shops you’d find in Japan. Menu is straight to the point and offers a quality selection of assorted broths. Their inhouse char-shiu chicken/pork is really tasty. They also have a “add rice + topping” to finish off your soup once you finish your noodles (genius!) Happy hour prices looked super reasonable and will definitely try to stop by again

Had been here on a snowy evening and the ramen did complete justice. We started with chicken bao bun and kimchi as appetizers. The taste was yum but the portion was quite small for $5 each. We then got 2 spicy toribro ramen and a chicken paitan curry and rice with an additional side of spicy sauce. Both the dishes were delicious and flavorful. Due to less quantity, we had to share 3 dishes amongst 2 people for us to be full. The space is quite small and would need waiting as they don’t take reservations. Would recommend adding the spicy sauce to the broth to make it more flavorful.

Solid ramen. Ordered the paitan and the deluxe mega - same signature chicken broth but the deluxe mega just has more toppings. All the main components - broth, noodles, and pork - were great. Nothing that blew me away, but all very good quality! Arrived right at open at 530pm and glad we were the last to make the first seating because the line immediately started building up. Took 45 min for us to get our food because it’s just one guy cooking. Service was very friendly.

Cozy little ramen spot with delicious ramen. Nice and rich broth with chewy noodles. Seaweed salad was delicious. Tako wasa had a strong wasabi flavor and was so yummy!

Walkable from timesquare, delicious and quick place to grab a warm ramen and value for money. Perfect for a winter evenings. Place is really small, but the food is really good.

It is a tight dim light mid basement type space. The ambience is not up to par but the food is good. The chicken paitan broth has a very subtle and soothing taste. The noodles are cooked slightly raw which I like. Over all taste is good but the ramen could have had more default veggies in it like the way it is elsewhere usually. The quantity is quite less than usual. A good spot in the area overall.

We recently discovered this cozy Japanese spot in our neighborhood, and it’s definitely a hidden gem! I love that they use chicken broth for most of their ramen. I had the Toribro deluxe mega ramen, and the broth was rich and flavorful, not too overpowering. The noodles had a nice chew, though they were a little undercooked for my liking. My boyfriend tried the vegan truffle miso ramen, which was also delicious but a bit salty. We also enjoyed the fresh and tasty seaweed salad. The service was good, and the beer was served cold. We’ll definitely be back to explore more of their menu.

Ambiance (4/5): This is a classic Japanese ramen shop feel—tight high top bar seating that overlooks the kitchen. There are a few tables on the side as well. It was cool seeing the solo chef prepare all the moving parts. Sadly, I did not feel like the seating was very comfortable, as the bottom part moved around on its own and there is no backing. Service (5/5): Came in on a Friday afternoon and there was only 2 or 3 other solo patrons so I was attended to throughout my experience. Toriburo Spicy (3/5): The noodles were a bit on the undercooked side so a little more chewy (which I like/prefer!) I like the homemade spicy paste that gave the dish another level of flavor! For the price point, I was definitely hoping that the pork charsiu piece would be a little more generous in portion size—however it’s really only 2 small slices. The flavor was there and a good blend of meat to fat ratio but just really to meager. The dish also does not come with any egg. I think I was hoping for a bit more flavor in the broth to wow me but it’s admittedly hard to compare paitan to tonkontsu. Happy Hour pricing Monday to Friday 12-6:30pm during the summer looks like $3-4 discounts off beers/sake!

Had a subpar experience for lunch on Toribro. I recognize that I came as the lunch rush was starting and maybe they were understaffed, but the service and food was lacking. Upon entering, I was told that the only seat available was the at the bar counter closest to the door. This was during a deep freeze in NY. I understand that solo diners get bad seats, but since they were seating groups of two communally at tables inside, I was at least hoping to maybe sit communally or maybe to get moved down the bar further away from the door. Instead just got a cold attitude and sat through lunch freezing even with my down parka on. I also was really disappointed with my gyoza order. The chef was multitasking when he flipped the gyoza from the pan to the plate. The gyoza was way off center, and he made no effort to try to center it. Moreover, the left side of the gyoza were burnt. See photo. The order already took 15-20 minutes, so I did not bother trying to ask them to remake it. The ramen was fairly tasty. My only quibble was the sparse toppings. Really seemed like too little for the price of the dish. Anyway, I probably should have gone to nearby EAK Ramen instead.

Horrible ramen experience ever 1. We waited for almost 1 hour for our ramen 2. I ask for straight noodles but I got the wrong one, I don’t think it’s a hard thing for the waitress to distinguish different types of noodles. 3. No refill of water, no apology for food delay and the room temperature is frozen. I am curious of the reason why this is still in business.
