It’s a place where you’ll not only enjoy a fantastic meal but leave feeling like you’ve found a new favorite spot in town. Trust me, once you visit, you’ll want to come back again and again!
Service is good, except when the little boy is working... when he is there the wait period is way too long. Unacceptable and he messes up orders repeatedly. Not to mention every customer complaining as they wait
I love this local chicken spot. It has changed names over the years, but the quality is consistently good. I have even ordered chicken to take to family events and everyone likes it. Ice cream and desserts are also available.
Great place to get grilled whiting and the pieces they give you are a nice size also their mash potatoes are excellent fries and chicken too are good if you indulge in fried (fast) food would recommend you ingest fried food as least possible as any thing fried or toasted becomes caramelized meaning converts to sugar so be mindful to eat to live not live to eat blessings 🙏🏽👏🏽🤓😇

I've lived nearby for years. Solid place, good food, good people, decent prices. Always clean, every guy behind the counter is humble and respectful. Cant ask for more in a hood chicken spot. Texas Fried chicken opened up by the 6 train station and I still @$!# with this place hard b/c they just have such a good vibe. I like the recipe at Texas fried chicken too but this place is just special.
Not for nothing, but this particular place is not like the rest. We've actually stopped in at other crowns because of our experience here, not the same. Not by a long shot. There food is great. Is low budget food, but done right. Clean place, friendly staff, but limited seating. Can get crowded.
Delicious spot, ordered a 21 pc shrimp basket with curly fries phenomenal! Ice Tea was amazing. 10/10 would come back.
They have a very hospitable staff. If you are a regular they will memorize your order. The chicken salad is amazing. accepts debit (very rare for a chicken spot)
12/17/2025 Visited for lunch. Got the number 8, which was $6 cash with tax. A drumstick and a thigh with two rolls. The chicken wasn’t piping hot, in fact it was unremarkable, but a good value. Clean interior with three booths. They also sell ice cream by the scoop.
As long as you tell them you want fresh food they cook it do not eat the ones that are sitting under the light it's still fresh but fresh food is better
There aren't many choices for lunch where I work with in walking distance, so I go here often. The guys that work here are all nice and always remember you. Fried food every day is not easy on the body, but they have salads also & I usually get the grilled chicken salad. It can get crowded at times, as I said before, there aren't many choices in the immediate area so people do tend to come here on there breaks & there are a lot of people living in the area also.
It's in the neighborhood so I go here. They French fries & the rolls are good. The chicken is ok. It's depends on what time you go. Because the chicken taste old & stale during the day. But after 5 the chicken tastes good and fresh.
Food is not what it's cracked up to me. Still idea of a biscuit is a flat dinner roll. They give you more fries and smaller parts of the chicken. If I wanted fries I'm going to just order fries cuz I couldn't find the chicken. I won't do that again.
I was hungry so i passed at this place, i come home to eat it and i found a bug in my ham burger.
I used to be a loyal customer at this Crown Fried Chicken location, visiting about once a week for years. The food used to be fresh, hot, and consistently good—something I genuinely looked forward to. Unfortunately, that has not been the case recently. Over the past few weeks, I’ve noticed a serious decline in the quality of their food. The freshness, flavor, and overall preparation just aren’t what they used to be. Most concerning of all, a few days ago I purchased some chicken and ended up with a terrible stomachache after eating it. The pain was so intense that I couldn’t sleep that night. This was a very disappointing and alarming experience, especially coming from a place I used to trust. I’m not sure what has changed—whether it’s the ingredients, the cooking process, or management—but something is definitely going downhill here. I hope the owners or staff take this feedback seriously and bring the quality back to the standard it once was. Until then, I’ll be staying away.
Received a Spicy Chicken Salad that was purchased here in good faith. Everything else purchased in the past has been good. However this salad looked as if it was made by a child. Clumps of onions, green peppers, cucumbers( couldn't tell) spicy chicken don't think so. I don't like wasting my money or anyone else's, $11. A rip. So now you lost me as a customer. Sorry not sorry.
Difficult to find parking. Too many people in the back not doing anything. Not everyone was wearing their masks over their noses. Food was dry, like it was old n reheated. But they do offer a large selection. I won't be going there again.
Disgusted by the quality of the food, expected better service. I ordered a cheeseburger combo as well and the lettuce tasted old and disgusting the only thing that complemented the meal was the FRIES! As I began to eat the pie it tasted funny, I turn on the light to see a bunch of black spots on and inside of it! Previous sweet potato pies I’ve eaten from other Crown Fired Chicken locations didn’t come like the one I received today. A total waste of money!
Website says they open at 10:30am. Called around 10:45 when doors still weren't open. They said come back at 11. Now 11:30 and still haven't opened the doors and will not answer the phone now. Poor customer service. Would've liked to have actually had the chance to try the food.
