Double Delight is my top classic NY Chinese food spot. I recently discovered how great their food was a couple of years ago and since then decided to choose Double Delight over any other closer restaurants. Their food is just that good! They have great quality ingredients, there is no oily aftertaste that you get from other spots, and the portion sizes fill you up! They also cater to any modifications you may have. Not to mention the delivery driver is very kind and delivers quick service! Amazing job! My go-to is their Kung Pao Chicken (I ask for not spicy) and Hot and Sour Soup! Delicious.

Great food and amazing portions decent prices cant complain only complaint is the delivery guy is sometimes kinda rude but i get it its stressful overall amazing food fast delivery great prices friendly staff even when ur complaing ab anything ALSO I RECOMMEND GENERAL TSOS CHICKEN IT IS AMAZING 10/10

I don’t often write reviews but Double Delight has never dropped the ball. The food is consistently good and the portion sizes are phenomenal. I’ve been coming here as my go to take out place since they opened and they never disappoint.

The restaurant is located in the Bensonhurst section of Brooklyn. They prepare Chinese cuisine. Several tables are available for dining in but there are no servers. Soups, appetizers, entrees, combination plates, diet menu, lunch specials and beverages are available. If customers spend $25 they receive a free spring roll or can of soda. If customers spend $45 they receive free fried shrimp. I ordered wonton soup, dim sum, chicken with black bean sauce, shrimp and lobster sauce and Singapore mei fun. The food was well-prepared and very good. Friendly and helpful staff.

I randomly selected this place and it was a good choice. Ordered lomein, fried rice and their spring rolls which are delicious. Will order from here again.

I like their food. You’ll be full and delightfully satisfied.

Update: my latest order was disappointing, i usually get plain lo mein and this batch was just not good, even the pork fried rice i usually order was not good this time - hopefully it was just a one time fluke, i still plan to order again Consistently good food, delivery is quick too and the drivers are nice. When I called the restaurant, they said Chow Mein doesn’t come with noodles and that I should have ordered Lo Mein. If it doesn’t contain noodles, then why does the name have noodles? Mein = noodles (面). Chow Mein = 炒面. The guy on the phone said Chow Mein = 炒菜. This restaurant should do a search online of what Chow Mein looks like. Will not order from here again. The rest of the order was your standard fare and looked right. Pork fried rice, spicy garlic green beans, sesame chicken, fried chicken wings, etc.

I went to the takeout restaurant on August 28th 2024, i ordered Their General Zoe’s chicken, the children was old and Dried out, i would never step back into this Establishment again .

I rarely post negative reviews, but this upset me to the core. I called the store to order a pick-up. I first asked if credit card is accepted before ordering. The staff member replied yes, so I ordered 2 items (chicken fried rice and chicken chow mein). He then responded that it'll take 10-15 minutes. I went to pick up my order after 30 minutes or so. I entered the store and said that I’m here for pick-up, but the staff at the register (cashier) said I never placed an order. I was confused, so I brought up the 2 items I ordered again, but he still said there was no order. Another staff member, who I assumed to be the manager/owner came up, and pointed to the order on the table. However, they only made the chicken fried rice. Great, at least they got 1 of the 2 items I ordered. I gave them my credit card to pay. Then, the staff informed of the $1 credit/debit fee, but I was never informed of this over the phone. Fine, whatever. I was hungry to the point that I just wanted the food. I gave the cashier my credit card, but he couldn't process it. He said their chip reader might be broken, so I told him to enter in the info manually. Both the cashier and manager tried my credit card and debit card, but both attempts failed. I checked my phone to see if there were any failed transactions, but there were none. The problem was their card reader machine. Their machine was probably not set up correctly to take credit/debit transactions, even though the restaurant still advertise that they take cards for payment. Then, the manager proceeded to blame me for not having money in my card, and told me to leave. I was frustrated and left. For the heck of it, I went to another store and bought something else using my credit card. So much for no money in my card right? In conclusion, Double Delight, don't blame me for your faulty system and poor customer service. I would not recommend this place, and I will not be coming here again.

The tip for whatever reason did not show on the receipt BUT did in fact show on the app. Once my food arrived, the delivery person (who works for the restaurant) REFUSED to give our food because he THOUGHT he did not receive a tip. I started recording him as you ran and drove away with my food that I paid for. Attaching the video here as they are surely an embarrassment. HORRIBLE service, DO NOT TIP THEM so they learn.

I never had such an experience like this before! From the moment I called the guy that answered was giving such a nasty attitude, I looked passed it and continued placing my order. After saying each item I wanted, the responses kept getting more and more snotty and obnoxious! Still I continued to order until I asked if they give a free item since my order was quite large and the guy says “well what do you want for free” with such attitude that I just canceled the order.
