Not sure if there is a better place in the neighborhood. Yes, this is how good I consider El Nuevo.
Best Spanish flavor food you will find in park slope.
Delicious fresh food, If you like Spanish food you are in heaven.....
Good food at great prices!
Great mom and pop place to sit have a drink with a friend and enjoy some good food. The staff is friendly and make you feel at home. This is why I m a regular at this place.
I thought the food was very good. I paid eight dollars for three chicken tacos. I felt that everything was cooked to perfection leaving nothing to want. I would definitely come back here again. I’m looking forward to trying some of their other dishes.

Fantastic chicharrón de pollo con tostones, the music was on point and the staff are so friendly they had us dancing til it closed!
This is the type of restaurant that you call " a whole in the wall" but the food is the delicious! The service is fantastic and delivery service is quick! I would say this is the best Dominican food in this neighborhood of Park Slope.
Mom brick and mortar store. The food was homemade and delicious. Serving size is plentiful. The place was clean and the service was warm and welcoming
Homestyle vibes throughout this delicious experience... sooooooo good!!!!! Hits everytime!
Delicious food. Small spot but friendly. I got chicharron and tostones... it was exactly what I wanted.
If you are looking for dominican/boriqua cuisine and you live in the vicinity look no further. Especially if you're into liver; order the "Bistec de Higado Salteado". So delish; I miss it!
Friendly little place with great home-cooked Dominican and Mexican options. Generous portions, reasonable prices. My only complaint was that the music in the background was skipping constantly (like a badly-scratched CD)
I came during the night and everyone working was just so friendly and the food was really good. It's pretty small but they try their best to accommodate anyone with a big group. Will be coming back
This place is a cute little hole in the wall but this is my weekly go to and my daughter loves it as well. The food there is amazing, the ladies there make you feel welcome and at home (memories of my many trips ton D R) with excellent service. The atmosphere is perfect, you feel more like at home than a restaurant. You know that it's good because that's where the hard working Spanish families who work and live in the community eat. Go try it out you Will not be disappointed.
Exceptionally satisfying. People who love good cooking should try this restaurant. The mood is pleasant, staff is friendly, and design is simple. Staff service meets quality standards completely. This spot offers a standout dining option.

For a hole in the wall it has great food
Great liked it FAST service VERY nice
Good food nice place .
One of the best bangs for your buck in the area. Traditional Dominican food with all the classics.
This place isn't big, a little dark but wow, wow, wow the food is great!! They deliver. They do breakfast, lunch & dinner. The owners, staff & cook are very friendly & accomodating.
Food was very good, prices are decent customer service could be better waiter wasn't very nice.
Definitely could use a cleaning but the food is very tasty
The food was great and the service was great. It’s not a huge sour note, but the music was really loud. That would be fine, but it kept stopping, part of an ad would play, it would start back up, then change songs, then stop... Really a loud, random experience. It’s one of those “can’t they tell this is happening?” moments. In spite of that, I still recommend it for the food. Huge portions, tasty (but adding the hot sauce was kind of necessary).
Quiet small business tucked on Prospect Ave. No music like previous reviews so I was able to read and drink peacefully. Carne burrito was great and will keep you full all day. Staff was respectful

El pollo guisado with the rice and beans was delicious. It is a small place, but worthwhile
Service was great. Food is pretty good. Two suggestions, please change the oil more frequent and please change the table cloths to one color. One more thing, there was a group of men just drinking beer, talking loud and they didn't order food..its not a bar, if customers want to just drink, this place should not be for that..
Very good Dominican and Puerto Rican food offerings at very reasonable prices. The owner and the woman prepping the orders were very friendly. We shared the arroz con gandules, carne guisada and the mofongo with chicharrones. The mofongo was made to order fresh and hot.
Great food, lovely staff, hidden gem. Not a place for a date but if you want authentic Dominican food, go here.

Meals are tasty, priced competitively, patrons and servers are not wearing masks.
Small place but tasty and Good price pernil sandwich
Nothing really significant about the food or options here. Asked her for chicken with rice and peas and got white rice with beans and was told that the rice and peas was sold out. I guess this is a first for a Spanish Dominican restaurant but it will be my last visit. The chicken was not anything I would want to pay for again or stop by to eat again Food was mid and service was mid. Decor was below mid.

Food no well cooked, service fair
I think their food is amazing but everytime i order breakfast for me and my significant other they would say they only had one. Then said next time i can get two, as if they feel like they can dictate how much food one can order. Forcing us to share Mangu. Their evening people dont seem to do that its just the first shift ive noticed. Food is very tasty though, only reason i still eat there.

Very bed food. I order a pernil.for lunch. Pernil waz a very very dry I think waz a week old I don't recommend to go eat at this place
They serves is not good the yellow rice didn't have any taste and it took them 1 hour and 10 min just to send my order not good
The food very good reasonable price
Waited a little over half an hour for food (1 small order). This place is located only HALF a mile away from where I ordered from yet it took so long to receive my food. So much for trying out a new restaurant. I will never order from this place again!
