Sandy Jack’s is the best! My first experience with the bar was asking them to put on the WNBA all-star game because I couldn’t find any other bar that had it on and Mike was sure to have it turned on for me and my friends. Now I love swinging by for a drink, a wnba game, trivia, etc! Mike was kind enough to let my friends and I host our Halloween party there this year and it was perfect! We had such a blast, Natalia (the bartender) is amazing and so kind. So grateful for this establishment and will always be coming back! Plus, the regulars are all super friendly. Def give it a try! Happy hour buy one get one is a great time to stop by

I had the BEST experience at Sandy Jack's! They literally have the cheapest drinks and best happy hour deal I've been to. I really don't think there's a cheaper option in all of NYC! On top of that, the bartenders were super sweet and the regulars at the bar taught me how to play pool :) plus it's dog-friendly! Such a fun and welcoming environment overall. Everything you could want in a bar, I can't wait to make this my regular spot!

Bartenders Josh & Natalia make you feel like a regular even on your first visit. Bertha Vanayshun is the best drag race host I’ve seen in the city. Will always be my go-to spot!

Cozy bar to grab a few drinks with a really nice outdoor space. Rated food 5/5 but they do not serve food, instead you can bring food in from anywhere which is a great compromise. The bar has a lot of events including Billiard tournaments if you’re into that. Very LGBTQ+ friendly!!!

Coming here has been the best experience for the area. The bartenders and atmosphere are nothing but incredible. The bartender Josh makes amazing drinks. This bar has one of the best local watering holes in the are. Rustic and vibrant. Willing to lose a game of pool or play they got you. Mike and Kevin the owners; can’t ask for more.

I've been drinking in Brooklyn for 25 years and this is my favorite place to do it. Always a friendly spot, and a pretty good place to watch folks shoot pool. 2 for 1 happy hour is a steal any time, but the fact that it's also on weekends makes you think maybe you're in Narnia. And should an odd number of drinks fill you up on a particular day, they'll let you keep your chip, and get a free drink next time. I mean, come on. SJ's 4eva.

Amazing spot! Bartenders were awesome! Venue was dope. They had a pool table inside. They were playing sports games on the TV and movies on the other ones. They have an outside backyard patio area for dining and smoking and dogs are welcomed. Drinks had great prices and music was great as well.

Always fun to discover a hidden gem. Great bar staff, backyard and pool table, and they do a lot of fun events like drag shows etc. Good times at Sandy Jacks! Stop questioning it just go.

Really great bar, I especially enjoy seeing Miss JizzaBella perform and host drag bingo nights. She's wonderful. Sandy Jack's is a place of inclusion where everyone is welcome. The drinks are perfect, and special requests are honored. Great place to kick back and enjoy a great night of fun. I highly recommend sandy Jack's. Friendly staff and wonderful entertainment, a fun, safe place for everyone.

The lady behind the bar was lovely and very welcoming. They have plenty of good alcohol brands, we had Stoli vodka & a mixer. There was a pool tournament going on also which a few of us watched from the side lines. It's clearly a very safe & welcoming space & plenty of stools to sit at the bar if this is your preference.

Sandy Jacks is our favorite bar in the city, perhaps the world! We happened upon it by chance and were delighted by the friendly staff and clientele, affordable drinks (even outside the amazing happy hour), and constant nightly events. They have karaoke, trivia, open mic nights, so many drag shows, pool leagues, holiday parties, big game watch parties, and community fundraisers. The owner Mike and his staff are passionate about making a fun, safe space for everyone to relax and have a great time while also championing worthy causes to support local organizations. They also can host events without breaking the bank and let you bring any outside food. We’ve brought so many different friend groups here and they all want to come back!

Love at first site 😍. The atmosphere here is wonderful and Justin, The Bartender, is a wonderful experience (be sure to get here on Saturdays 😌). Definitely worth the visit. You’ll definitely won’t regret the time spent here. Drink responsibly, have fun, and much love. 😝

Very nice bartender with clean atmosphere. My big problem was the beer tap was needing some TLC and you could taste the stale beer that was setting in the lines. I hope the owners address the situation soon!
