Nice pasta spot with fresh, homemade pasta and sauce. The pipette ragu is really good—very flavorful with a nice al dente texture. The red one (I think it’s the spicy chef’s special) isn’t bad, but not as good as the ragu. It’s a small place, so be prepared to wait a bit if it’s busy.

Great spot in Brooklyn to get pasta, if you’re in the mood. The inside it a bit tight. So I’d recommend planning to take out. The pastas are delicious and just the perfect amount. With wine options as well! Definitely coming back.

How have I just found this place?! Forma can give any top Italian joint a run for their money. This place is top quality. The food is delicious. It’s so good, I went two days in a row. What can I say, I love pasta. You need to try everything on their menu. The Malfadine Scampi is really amazing and they give you a nice amount of shrimp. The Fettuccine Funghi is so flavorful and creamy. The Pappardelle Bolognese was great. We also had the eggplant parm, meatballs, and arancini, but the cauliflower was over the top and a must. The Gem Salad looks fantastic, but I’ve yet to try it. This place is great and I hope they open a third location in Bushwick, which is hungry for a place like this. Forma Pasta Factory has Fast friendly service and a must try.

A beautiful place for a date night in NY. The employee at the register was very warm and helpful. If I’m not mistaken, if it’s your first time dining with them and you order a pasta, you can purchase a $5 glass of wine as well. Great atmosphere, seating is first come first serve, witnessing the food being made felt like I was watching an episode of ‘The Bear’. Relatively quick service as well. Would definitely be back!

Cosy spot with amazing food. If you like pasta, you'll have a field day here. The food arrived incredibly quickly and was delicious. Highly recommend their Gnocci, the texture was like biting into a pillowy cloud. Their red sauce is also very tomato forward, which was something I liked but I am aware that not everyone likes that. I also highly enjoyed the fettuccine fungi, the sauce was light but flavourful and I could see the little pieces of mushroom that had been blended into it. Not a place to stay for long however, it's pretty cramped and it's best to eat your fill, bus your own table, and head out.

Best pasta I’ve had outside of Italy! Perfectly cooked with complex flavors. Very affordable!

I’ve been to Italy about five times, and I’m gonna say this place served one of the best pastas I’ve ever had. For how casual it is, I wasn’t sure what to expect. Upon arrival, you’ll find a person greeting you with a big smile. Then you proceed to the counter and order. Once done, you find a seat (there are plenty in and outdoors), then they bring you your order. Prior to receiving our pasta, we were offered some REALLY good focaccia which we scarfed down so fast. We were offered another batch and couldn’t say no. The pasta is just as good as the photos you see on Yelp, AND the reviews are very accurate. The service was fast and friendly. I wish we had a place like this in the Bay Area. Will have to make special trip back to Brooklyn just to have this pasta again.

Phenomenal! The pasta is delicious, their sauces are flavorful and both very obviously freshly made. The staff is very polite and friendly. The place is small but set up very nicely so multiple people and even larger groups can sit together. Their wine selections are great. I like bitter white and my best friend likes the sweetest whites and we were both pleased with the glasses we got (man at the register recommended which we should each get) I’ve been recommending this restaurant non stop to my coworkers and everyone who will listen!

Thanks to news 12 would of never kno this place exist and and went to try it out and was not disappointed. Place is abit small alot of people was out that Friday night. And the food was so delicious and host and cashier was very friendly and courteous. Definitely will visit again . 🌟 🍽🍽🍽🥂🥂 fresh pasta 👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽

I finally had the chance to try the pasta at this place, and it definitely lived up to my expectations. The service was fantastic, and the food arrived promptly. However, I couldn't help but notice that the tables were a bit wobbly, which was a minor inconvenience. Overall, it was a delightful experience, and I would highly recommend trying their pasta.

M

Forma is undefeated in quality for price. Spaghetti pomodoro and the fettuccine funghi were my favorite. I would also recommend their arancini side. We arrive right at 12 on a Saturday so we did not have go wait but the line grew fast so would recommend coming right at opening if you can.

Y
Yarah Elshaer

The pasta was very delicious and at a great value! Despite it being literally packed to the brim I got my pasta within 25 minutes. My only complaint was that it was so busy that there was no place to sit or even stand to wait for the pasta. This is of no fault to the restaurant, and I understand it’s a Saturday night, but I hope they are able to expand in the future. Would still come here again

Where has Forma Pasta Factory been all of my New York life? This place is fantastic on so many levels! The pasta dishes are $13 ($16 for specials)! That is absolutely unheard of in NY. We had the pesto pasta and the Friday Lamb special. Absolutely blown away at how delicious both dishes were. Price, value, and taste is all here. Cannot wait to come back! Also, the staff here was so warm and welcoming and made a point to say goodbye and thank you for coming in as we left. **Check out the wine n dine special for $18!

Yo! Little Italy I think you lost an arm and moved to Brooklyn. There’s a new spot in town! Well new for me. But Wao! This place has inanely good pasta, service, and a damn good arancini! For me to give a spot 5⭐️s it has to pass the test, yea the “make me happy test”. First thing you notice in the place is the good vibes… and the good vibes starts everything the right way, that’s why the pasta is happy. Then you see the staff making fresh pasta, place your order and take your number n go to the table. Make sure you order a bottle of wine. I order the pipette Ragú, and it was perfect. Perfect portion, taste as insanely good, and garnished the right way. Girlfriend order the fettuccine funghi and man man man delish. Ordered meatballs, arancini, bib lettuce salad, everything was seasoned to perfection and you can notice the love in the food. And I know everyone there is happy with what they do. Service was amazing, again the staff was happy, we went in and the place was packed (that’s a good sign) the shop even though busy was extremely clean. I mean I can keep going and going but go ahead and visit the spot and trust me you are going to thank me later. You might even buy me a bottle of wine as a thank you…. I’m not joking. Finally a spot I can go for pasta and chill!

Antonio Madrazo Ibarra

The pasta is incredibly fresh. The place is really small and really crowded, and the tables are first come first serve so if you come with a big group it might be a little complicated. Besides that the food is really good. We had the Pappardelle Bolognese, the Mafaldine Scampi, and the pasta with mushrooms and truffle. They were all delicious.

C
Christian Stueve

Forma is everything you want in a dinner place, fast, delicious and friendly. The pasta was very good as so was the salad and arancini. It's first come seating but that's not a huge issue as the table turn over it's quick. This a good spot if ur tight on time.

A
Apurva

For the price, the quality is top-notch. I loved the shrimp scampi and mushroom pastas. The pesto was good but too al dente; I think a different pasta shape would’ve been better. The lasagna was good too, especially the sauce. The complimentary bread is really good too! Tables are first come first serve, so try to get there early if you’re dining on a weekend.

WOW. Amazing quality food for an unbelievably good price. Dropped in for lunch and got the malfadine shrimp pasta for only $12!!!! You could tell that every ingredient was super high quality and the dish was delicious. The pasta had good texture and the perfect bite. Decor was nice and the atmosphere was relaxed and casual. Ordering is more casual and you order at the counter and then someone brings you your food. The service was also very good. I know this sounds a bit over the top, but finding this place has restored my faith in the nyc dining scene that it doesn’t have to cost an arm and a leg to have high quality, delicious food in a comfortable setting. I will definitely be back and will be telling everyone I know about this gem. Update: I came back on 9/20/21 and it slapped again! Got the fettuccine funghi, meatballs and eggplant parm. 10/10 they did a great job. Thanks!

4.8. GREAT casual Italian spot in Brooklyn specializing in fresh pasta made in-house. Amazing selection of sauces and specials each day of the week. It’s a pretty fast paced, no/low-frill environment. Portions are generous, service is friendly. There is a street side patio, it’s a bit hectic. You have to clear your own plates and refill your own water etc, but they do bring the food out to you. The noodles are cooked super well and they have all the fun shapes. There are lots of veggie options- including the salads and side dishes. Accessibility- There are stairs to get inside but patio seating is on the street!

A
Aylon Pesso

A low key quick service restaurant serving up incredible homemade pasta dishes. I didn't expect too much from a counter service pasta place, but I was completely blown away by everything here. They make all of the pasta right in the shop, so it's all super high quality and fresh as heck. Everything we had was incredible, and they have specials for each day of the week so there's always something new to come back for. Service is quick and friendly. You order at the counter, get a number flag, find any open seat, and they bring out your food as soon as it's ready, which is never too long. The space is super clean with a great modern feel, with counter spots and tables. It is a smaller space though, and it can be a little tight to find an open table, so feel free to take it to go or delivery. I can't recommend this place enough! Do yourself a favor and try it all.

If you’re a pasta lover, Forma Pasta Factory in Greenpoint is a must-visit! Despite the long lines, the wait is absolutely worth it. The food here is incredibly delicious and budget-friendly, making it a fantastic spot for a satisfying meal without breaking the bank. The place is always packed, which is a testament to its popularity and the quality of its dishes. The pasta is made fresh in-house, and you can taste the difference in every bite. Whether you’re dining solo or with friends, the welcoming atmosphere and friendly staff make the experience even better.

I love Forma, this was my second time eating here and I ordered the pesto pasta. It was super fresh and bright, but definitely on the salty side. Last time I was there I had the Wednesday special and I still think about it. Definitely go eat here if you have the chance !

S

Honestly we were quite surprised at how good this was. It was really great value as well—not too pricey at all. Great flavors. Love the abbreviated menu as well so I can’t get overwhelmed with options. The best was by far the bolognese, but we enjoyed the artichoke tuna salad as well.

S
Shannon Shemanski

You've got to check out this awesome place. I just got an opportunity to review it. Their pasta dishes are out of this world, with a variety of options to choose from. As a self-proclaimed pasta lover, I can tell you that I couldn't get enough of it. You don't want to miss out on this delicious experience!

Friendly staff and delicious fresh pasta. The space is a squeeze. Service was quick and attentive. Portion sizes were good. Best part was the pricing. It’s budget friendly clean and friendly restaurant with delicious food. I loved the shrimp scampi, fresh, light and filling. My partner had meatballs and spaghetti which was scrumptious. Parking can be a pain.

Very nice experience. Seating is first come and self-seating. The food was fresh and tasty. Nice portions for the price. The staff was very friendly and attentive. The bathroom was clean. The desserts were okay- we tried the chocolate pudding and ricotta cheesecake. Overall, this was a wonderful experience and I look forward to returning.

Best house made fresh pasta under $15. It’s simply the best bang for your buck anywhere. I mean, where else can you get an appetizer, two entrées and two glasses of wine for under $50…..I can’t think of any. Staff is super friendly and helpful. They personify service with a smile.

the pasta is so delicious and better than most expensive restaurants out there!! the staff is also super nice and the place has a really nice atmosphere overall. the only downside is that the place is super tiny and when it's crowded, you really do feel it.

S

Super good pasta, fantastic price, really kind staff. Always a bit of a wait there but that's understandable as it's one of the last affordable places to have fresh pasta in the city. Always worth it. All the love!

V
Vibusha V

Affordable, fast and very high quality! We got the malfadine scampi and fettuccine funghi and both tasted great but the fettuccine funghi is one of the best mushroom based pastas dishes I’ve ever had. The complimentary focaccia was also delicious and was a great vehicle to soak up any leftover sauce.

J

This is one of my new favorite restaurants! I love all of their dishes, and the pasta is fresh and made right in front of you! I love the ambiance, and their garlic shrimp dish is delightful! Highly recommend this place <3

B
Basil Jafri

Great pasta at a reasonable price point! Staff are friendly despite the business/pace of the place. Service is probably as fast as it could be with the number of online orders they seem to get. If you're dining in, expect a bit of a wait for your food, but the value is hard to beat!

N
Nella Lomotan

Amazing homemade pasta so reasonably priced for the quality, sauces were so good, amazing and attentive service!! Had the carbonara and papardelle and cant wait to try more! Update: went back and tried more - pesto, fettucine funghi, and the gnocchi special. Everything really is so good! The caesar salad lunch special + pasta for 16 dollars is also a winner

H
Hemant Vakharia

A tight indoor space, but the wait staff is very helpful and accommodating! While waiting for the table, they also brought the savory focaccia bread for us on request ! This place makes their own fresh pasta, and it does make a hell of a difference to the dishes prepared with it! Highly recommended!

After having seen this place multiple times on Instagram and my love of pasta, had to check this place out. It’s located in the hip Williamsburg. The value is there. The food quality and the ambiance is up there for self served casual spot in NYC. You first place your order and take the number to a open table and wait for the food to be brought to your table. Then after you finish, you are responsible to cleanup your own plates and utensils. Loved the sauce and will definitely come back for other dishes I have yet to try. The pasta was slightly undercooked in my option but I’m not an expert and please do consider my limited knowledge of what i would consider al dente. Definitely recommend anrancini. The staff is very friendly and full of energy. The restroom is clean and spacious but there’s only one that is constantly occupied. I’d like to mention a warning for those who will visit their restroom of a bulldog statue that seem so real that it surprised me and many others, from the reaction I was seeing from others.

Saw this place on Instagram and knew I had to go. Couldn't believe a place in BK advertised $12 fresh pasta. Well it's since gone up to $14 which is still a steal and it lived up to the hype. The pasta has a great bite to it that you only get from fresh pasta. The atmosphere is very cute. It looks very small but it's deceptive- there's a decent amount of seating. And the staff was so nice. We will be back (and plan on visiting the Fort Greene location!)

A place where you can get quality pasta, great for on the go or a quick stop. It’s usually busy but staff is efficient and the queue goes by fast. The salad looks very basic but the dressing is amazing.

Very quick service, kind and friendly staff, extremely delicious food🔥 I was waiting for my pasta for 6-7min, took some to go. Nicely packed, super fresh. I ordered their pasta with shrimps, it was fantastic, will definitely come back for lunch! They are making very fresh pasta!!! And the prices are surprisingly affordable

High quality Pasta, all the staffs are friendly attentive most importantly they love their foods. Happily gives recommendations. it is a small place, packed of people. Dine-In a bit tricky, like a self service table. Customer even willing take the seat literally NEXT to the restroom. less than 2 feet. because the FOOD is sooo good.

If you’d like to enjoy a real Italian pasta without taking a mortgage this is the place for you. Home made pasta that is made in the restaurant every day , clean and neat place nice decor and efficient stuff are what make this place very popular among local people. Check it out you won’t regret.

Probably the best pasta I've had since Italy. Their pasta were all freshly made in front of you. The texture was perfect and their sauces were really good, I personally like the red sauce a lot. Pairing it with a glass of wine is only $3 more what more can you ask for. 10/10 would recommend!!

Second time I have been here and the food has been great each time. I got a side of cauliflower there focaccia and the gemelli pesto pasta. Place has been busy both times and they get the food out quick while still making sure that it is quality food.

Today, I have a pickleball match with my friends. I'm feeling hungry and need some energy, so I ordered Mafaldine scampi to eat in my car. It's so delicious that I want to order another box! If you like softer pasta, just ask for it to be extra cooked, and you won't be disappointed. The staff are friendly, and the atmosphere is nice. I will definitely come back soon!

The pasta was so fresh! Everything was delicious. We had the fried ricotta balls, delicious! Spaghetti and meatballs——AMAZING! Sauce was tomato goodness and the meatballs had the perfect spices and texture. We also had the pesto pasta, it was so pretty! And also a perfect blend of basil! And the bread! Yummmmmm

Forma Pasta Factory is the BEST pasta restaurant in Greenpoint! We enjoyed the complete experience. The space is cozy and comfortable. We sat outside which has an informal rustic feel but comfortable. The staff is friendly and professional and very accommodating! The food.. the pasta is perfectly made and the sauces are exceptionally delicious! Our lunch was perfect that day and we’re going back soon.

This place never disappoints and is one of my favorite pasta places in nyc! It’s an affordable casual spot for pasta in Greenpoint. The biggest thing to note is that you have to be quick to snag a table- every time I’ve come it’s always very busy and the place is small and tight for the amount of people that come to eat! It’s self service so make sure to grab your own utensils and put away your dishes at the end. Order at the counter and they’ll bring your food to you when it’s ready. Don’t forget to ask for the focaccia bread if they don’t bring it out with your food! I haven’t tried all the pastas yet but so far my favorite of their regulars ($13) is the pappardelle bolognese but honestly it’s hard to go wrong with any of their pastas. Their pasta is cooked very al dente and the sauces pop with flavor.

B
Bryan Cabo

Oh em gee! Pasta is on point. It’s amazing how quick, delicious and friendly this place is. Massively impressed since lots of Italian joints don’t have the same quality, service or as casual. 5 stars across the board. Forma is super consistent. Love it. Super benne!!!

Came for dinner on a Wednesday at 7:30 and it was pretty crowded but we were still able to find a table quickly. Super fresh pasta and delicious sauces! Got a small piece of focaccia with our food which was nice. Service is very quick and friendly - will be coming back to try their other dishes!

we LOVE this place!!!!! we had tried some of the weekday's specials and items of they're menu and everything its just fabulous!!! it's always a treat! nothing beats fresh 🍝 the guy that takes the order is always so kind and he gives you recommendations if you're not sure what to order, the eggplant is fantastic too.. yup basically everything here!

For fast-casual pasta under $20, this is the spot. Tucked in the intersection by the park, this is a nice spot for quick lunch with a small group of friends 4 or less. Most seating is designated for 2-4 party size. Pasta was delicious and cooked to perfection. Flavors were there for both pasta dishes we had, definitely recommend eating there but if not possible to go isn’t bad option either. The Brussel and meatballs we had were also good. Staff was friendly bathroom is clean. Recommend if going on Saturday to go near opening time to ensure you don’t have to wait around for a seat but you’ll be waiting to get your order in which only took about 20 mins. Worth a trip back for a daily special, and for pasta lovers it’s definitely worth it for the value.

Z
Zoa Robinson

This place truly is a hidden gem! Where else can you find delicious, fresh pasta at such affordable prices? With options starting at just $13, and a tempting lunch special for only an additional $3, it's a steal. I can't recommend their fresh pasta enough—it's simply divine. However, be warned: there's a bit of a surprise waiting in the bathroom that might startle you! But don't let that deter you from enjoying the incredible food and unbeatable prices at this delightful spot.

Came here on a Sunday with my bestie and we ordered the Sunday special “Lasagna” and she ordered the Scampi Pasta. Although it seemed quite busy when we entered, the line went by quick and we were able to sit down within the same minute we ordered. They took about 15 minutes to get our order out and it was definitely worth the wait. I’ve been here twice and will continue coming! Love it 🫶🏼

Such a nice and relaxing pasta go-to spot. The restaurant gives a nice and relaxing vibe with indoor and outdoor seating. I was greeted by friendly staffs as soon as I entered and my order was ready in short amount of time. Enjoy how there is wide selection of alcohol and non alcohol beverage, focaccia, and dessert available to complete your meal. There is also a selection of fresh and dry pasta you can buy. I ordered to go and my order was packed properly with cheese and bread on the side. Overall a happy experience and another go to pasta place especially for this price point!

Love this place, great buzzy atmosphere and, more importantly, great food. Such good value. I’m only in NY for four nights, staying nearby, and I’ve been here twice. Recommend highly.

Love this place! Eggplant parmigiana is wonderful as well as their caesar salad. Pastas are also solid, especially for the price. My recommendation would be agnolotti with cheese and truffle or fettuccine funghi. Although I am pesto fan and it is one of their most popular pastas, I personally would pass on gemelli pesto.

My boyfriend and I come here quite often. Service is always super fast and the staff is very friendly. Forma is everything that you could want out of a small, casual pasta spot. Serving sizes are on spot every time, I finish every last bite feeling perfectly full. Pasta is always cooked to perfection AND their sauces are so amazing. I am a HUGE fan of spicy vodka and no one does it like Forma. Genuinely have not found another place that compares, we always find our way back here. Affordable pricing for the quality of food that you’re getting! Hands down one of my favorite spots!

C
Carissa Star

Hands down the best pasta ever! My boyfriend and I make it a point to come here at least once a week! Their pasta is made fresh in house, and there are plenty of options to choose from. Their daily special on Saturdays is one of our favorites! The staff is always welcoming and attentive! Finding a seat may be hard on busy nights however, the turnaround is very fast so you won’t wait long! I wouldn’t suggest coming with a large party of people because the seating area is small and can’t really accommodate larger parties of 4 or more. It’s definitely a must try! We come So often they know our order when we get to the counter to order!

Late fall and winter is the best time because they have their tomatoe soup! I usually frequent the other location, but this one is just as good as the other one. I appreciate their constant quality of food. Definitely never disappointed when I eat here.

Absolute best arancini I’ve ever tasted! Their sauces are rich and deep and so flavorful. Gluten free spaghetti was perfectly cooked. Gem salad was tangy, crunchy and refreshing. Artfully crafted. The servers are very warm and personable. You can tell they really care about their work. It’s a bit small inside in terms of seating but the food more than makes up for it. Wish I lived closer!

Affordable and delicious pasta but buckle up friends no tip means you gotta do it by yourself 🤞 Be brave when you’re looking for the table; took me almost 10 minutes to get one and there’s no server so GOOD LUCK. I wish they had cold water too, but al least they have room temp water. Aranchini was EXCELLENT. Spicy aloli tasted great with nice amount of heat and aranchini was crispy and creamy. All of their pasta was very delicious and they know what they’re doing bc pasta is perfectly al dente and sauces also taste great. Portion size is also decent, but its goona be hard to finish if you nibble on their focaccia too much;bc their focaccia is DELICIOUS. Springy texture with amazing olive oil taste, YUM. I jsut have awesome memories from this place and can’t wait to go back.

Great experience with the pasta and eggplant parmesan appetizer. I had the classic spaghetti and meatballs and it was great. Wine was good.

$14 PASTA! The food here is extremely fresh. The pasta is handmade and tastes so good. The service is great and the staff is very knowledgeable. I love the ambiance of the restaurant, very simple and sunny.

Excellent pasta dishes perfectly cooked al dente with delicious sauce and a nice piece of focaccia. Reasonable prices and friendly service. Very narrow interior, small tables. Good for a quick bite, you will not be disappointed. Looks like a lot of people order delivery from here since there were quite a few DoorDash staff picking up, but I think the quality would degrade if you don’t get it fresh from the kitchen so I recommend eating in if you can. If the weather is good, they have a couple of tables outdoors in front or you can sit in the public space on the other side of the sidewalk. Recommend!

Tasty !! Pasta cooked to perfection. It wasnt expensive at all to begin with and they even have lunch set special at $17 !! They also have a daily special pasta besides the regulars on offer. Save the ciabatta for the end to sop ur plate clean, scarpetta !! Came on a friday afternoon, no waiting line but busy.

$14 hand-pulled pasta. Expected them to be basic, but this ended up being better than a lot of the pasta I’ve had in Little Italy (NYC) and the North End (Boston). The shop was packed when we came in late Sunday afternoon, so we grabbed counter seats instead of waiting for a table. Tiny space at the counter (had to keep my elbows tucked in the whole time) but worth the hassle. Everything was made from scratch, and the pasta had that perfect hand-pulled chew and was cooked spot-on al dente. Both the pipiette ragu and the lasagna were fantastic, and even the small sides like the arancini and meatballs were great. Arancini – Tiniest arancini I’ve ever seen. Traps less heat, so it was much easier to eat without getting mouth burns. Meatballs – Listed as beef, but tasted more like a pork–veal mix. Texture was more sausage-like than typical ground beef meatballs, but it was still juicy and flavorful. Pipiette Ragu – Very nice pork flavors, which I loved. Might feel slightly redundant if you also get the meatballs, but the white wine and herbs gave it a cleaner, lighter pork flavor without any of that lingering pork funk you sometimes get. Lasagna (Daily Special) – Loved the integration of eggplant here. The top layer was crisped beautifully, which added a smoky edge, and instead of drowning everything in tomato ragu, they served it with just enough sauce underneath. Definitely had meat in it, but the layering was light enough that you could still taste the vegetables and pasta instead of just sauce.

Loved this place! I’m vegetarian and was so happy to see plenty of really tasty options. The food was amazing. It does get crowded, but honestly that just shows how good it is. It’s a small cozy place but it looks aesthetic. I think they could go a bit bigger they’re definitely worth the space! Highly recommend.

Has one of the best meals in my time in New York here. Delicious food that use classic flavours and seasonal ingredients. Short menu with a good selection. We got the scampi, the vegetable lasagna and the broccolini, and they served us two complimentary portions of foccasia. The scampi was abundant, the lasagna had robust and the broccolini was bright. All three dishes were perfectly cooked and had amazing depth of flavour without being too rich and heavy, with no cream used. The broccolini was bright and acidic with sweet, caramelised onions and garlic. Loved it and cannot wait to eat here again. The place was casual and we sat outside. The service was quick, accommodating and polite.

I have eaten here many times as you can tell by the amount of pictures I have of the pasta. It’s my favorite pasta place in the city and it’s so affordable too! My favorite is the gemelli pesto and the spicy rigatoni, also! The scampi is DIVINE. This place has my heart, ever since I found it on tik tok and a plate was just $12.

Gluten free people. By far best gluten free pasta I’ve had in my entire gluten free journey. They make their own pasta in house. The service is simple where the customer is self efficient and works with ease. The outside patio area was cute and charming. Did I mention how good the pasta was? I’ll have to revisit whenever I’m in the area.. because it was so tasty, quick and just a perfect amount. No gross feeling of being full. A+ +

Forma Pasta Factory Rating: 8.5/10 Date Last Visited: 9/5/2025 We ordered the Pappardelle Bolognese ($14) and Orecchiette ($17), which was the Friday special. I’ve also come in the past and ordered the Pipette Ragu ($14) and Fettuccine Funghi ($14). All the pasta I tried were cooked well, had amazing toppings, and delicious. My favorite was the ragu, but the fettuccine and bolognese are close seconds. The Friday special was good too, but was not as flavorful. Overall, I would recommend this restaurant if you’re looking for good quality and tasting pasta for a solid price.

It's definitely one of my favorite pasta places. The portions are perfect, the pasta is fresh, and I never know what to eat because I have to try everything. The focaccia was delicious, and I love the meatballs. A nice place to share with friends.

This is definitely a hidden gem of a restaurant. Friendly staff, delicious food, reasonable prices—I would recommend it to my friends and will definitely come back. My favorite dish is the shrimp pasta.

After class, my friends and I were hungry and wanted to eat at some restaurant nearby. We heard that Forma Pasta Factory has homemade pasta, so we decided to go. We ordered at the boot and paid up front, they will bring food to the table. Fettuccine Funghi; sautéed wild mushrooms, rosemary & thyme cream sauce, parmigiano reggiano, I love this dish the most. Spaghetti Pomodoro; san marzano tomatoes, basil, and parmigiano reggiano, regular Thursday Special Chitarra; ‘frutti di mare,’ shrimp, squid, mussels, calabrian chili, spicy white wine broth, it is good seafood dish. We shared all dishes so I got to try all of that. The vibe is very casual and easy going.

Affordable and good quality pasta in BK! Expect less than $20 per person and complimentary focaccia to pair. I got the $19 combo with red wine. Fast service, intimate, cheerful atmosphere too. Happily recommend!

Delicious, freshly made pasta right in the heart of Williamsburg, Brooklyn. The fettuccine is a must try - rich, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. Seating can take 20–25 minutes, but trust me, it’s absolutely worth the wait.

We found our favorite pasta place in Brooklyn! Not only it’s the best deal in town but it also has the best quality and taste. Fresh pasta dish is $14 and and you can add gem salad or kale Caesar salad for $3 (even on Saturday) Staff were friendly and efficient. Line moves pretty quick. My husband (he’s a chef) said it was one of the best Pappardelle Bolognese he ever had. Pasta was cooked perfect and so flavorful. This place knows what they are doing! Salad was soooo good! Can’t wait to come back to try other pastas and desserts!

DO NOT HESITATE TO EAT HERE. One of the best dining experiences ive ever had in New York. Absolutely incredible how their pasta is the price that it is. It's fresh handmade pasta and you can see them making it in the front. The texture is absolutely perfect, tastes so good. This place blew my mind. The bread that comes with the soup is so damn good it's one of the best breads that i've had in my life. Imagine if milk bread was Italian... so plush and scrumptious. For a small place, the ambiance is soo nice. So much natural light in a tucked away seating area in the back. Clean as can be. Service makes this place though. Shout out the owner who must keep their employees very happy because the energy in this place set the tone for my day. I was like sad to leave because I was having so much fun and felt so much joy eating there and being taken care of in a genuine way. Forgot to snag a pic but their tirimisu is also made in house and is impeccable. Not too much alcohol flavour if any at all, perfectly whipped marscapone and evenly soaked ladyfingers. Forma i love you😂🫰🥹

Great vibes and friendly staff. Probably the best pappardelle bolognese you’re gonna eat in town. The arancini is and always has been a favorite of mine and it never disappoints. The gamelli pesto was a bit disappointing. It was just dry and the didn’t really hit as it should have.

Definitely 5stars but I gave it 4 due to the space not my style felt like everyone is to close due to the small space. Other than that highly recommended 👌🏻

I came because I kept getting ads on instagram about the portion being big but the plate was so little. Im not overweight, Im just a mid 20guy 170lbs. I felt like I was on a diet. The pasta was really good though. The bathrooms are in the back and you’ll be seating next to it within 4feet, Im not sure whos idea was that and its only one stall so you have a 13 person line. Anyways Id come back for the bread

Fast, efficient, if you are familiar with the layout. Pasta could have been just a tad more cooked, wish there was more sauce. Very good value, for Brooklyn

This place is a pretty decently priced handmade pasta place. The texture of the pasta was a quite excellent al dente, which I enjoyed. The gnocchi was really soft and I liked the sauce that came with the Monday gnocchi special. The sausage pasta had a great texture but didn’t have much sausage and was a bit underflavored. The mushroom fettuccine had a better flavor but also could’ve had more flavor. Kale salad was alright; good as a $3 add on to pasta. Arancini was pretty crunchy but not sure if worth the price. Cramped sitting area but we managed to find a table for 5. Overall, reasonable pricing, good pasta texture but flavor was lacking.

WOOOOOW! Cheapest and quickest best pasta in the city! Although the atmosphere gives off hipster vibes, especially the place location. The restaurant is delicious! Inexpensive large portions of delicious food with daily specials! Free bread too. GO HERE!

I’ve eaten here twice and enjoyed both my meals immensely! Delicious handmade pasta at an absurdly affordable price . It can get a bit tight and crowded but it didn’t take away from my experience ; my first visit was on a holiday which certainly explains how busy it was . My second visit was less of a wait. I would recommend and would certainly return here again!

This hybrid restaurant is self service like fast food style ordering, first come first serve seating arrangement. , Cozy and I mean very close seating gem in greenpoint Brooklyn was a cute delightful date with my nephew and I. When we arrived it was packed without indoor seating, so we originally sat outside. Which we were indifferent about. Indoor seating cleared up so we sat inside. The meatballs amazing, the cauliflower great vegan dish, I also ordered gluten-free pasta just to try since they make fresh pasta. It was fairly decent i would have preferred my pasta to be cooked a little longer. Nephew seemed to enjoy his dishes Pipette Ragu & Affogato espresso w/ vanilla ice cream. The staff was attentive I loved that. They have 2 locations in Brooklyn yes I would return and I recommend you trying it. The neighborhood is lively and friendly. Oh did i mention its extremely affordable.

Lunch special is until 5pm - $16 for a small gem salad + any of the pastas on the menu (not the special of the day). We really enjoyed the texture of the pasta and will be back to try the different types! We had the scampi today which was good but lacked a kick. The Saturday special was good though.

Very limited seating. But the staff was above and beyond. I couldn't find a table so I sat outside. One of the waiters grabbed my number and got me a table inside and made sure No one took it. Brought me bread and checked on me multiple times. I love this place

Best pasta restaurant in NYC!! mafaldine scampi and bolognese are sooooo goooood! Price is also very reasonable! Pasta + wine = only $18!! (UPDATE, $19 now. And they might forgot your order. Do remind them)

If you’re looking for quick homemade pasta that doesn’t leave you feeling like a bowling ball, this is the place! I tried the gnocchi and it was amazing :)

Pasta is always fresh and delicious. The space is way too small to accommodate people though.

Cheap price with good options. Staffs were very friendly. Fresh salad and Thursday pasta was bit Oily but fresh seafood. Scampi had nothing particular flavor to be honest. However, I would consider going back to try rest of the options.

This place is a bit odd. The bathroom door is right next to the tables, giving it a corridor-like feel. The food is okay, but it’s not the real deal Italian. It’s more like a quick pasta fix.

They have very great pasta but it’s always been a bad experience getting them from uber eats/door dash. My first take out order was taking forever to get delivered, my second one didn’t come with utensils although I already put them in the note.

Im sorry to say this food just wasn't good. I was shocked considering the other reviews. I ordered takeout got home and was surprised how bland and mid the food was. The shrimp were over cooked and rubbery and the pasta was mushy. The chicken had good flavor but was a bit dry and Brussel sprouts were great. I really wanted to like it but it just wasn't doing it for me personally
