Avis sur Frog Wine Bar Brooklyn
Excellent wine and excellent vibes. Feels like you’re taken into a charming French countryside dive bar. The crowd is great too so overall I love this spot
Good place to hangout at. Great selection of wine. Long list for the pool table, single games only no doubles
Brand new wine bar in the neighborhood! Looks great inside, has a huge and beautiful back patio that will be perfect for summer. First day of biz was a little chaotic but the wines were great. I didn’t order food but saw a few plates of out and the portions looked pretty solid. BTG prices are a little higher than usual for the neighborhood but that’s the way things are going over here now, so it’s not unexpected. I’ll definitely be back soon, welcome to the neighborhood!

best bar in bed stuy by far. just chill vibes. I love their wine selection. The pool table situation can be a bit intimidating with all the super regulars but the garden is perfect
Amazing bar with great popups that support local chefs and businesses. I’ve seen posts about the pool culture here but for what it’s worth I’m a woman that plays pool here and everyone has always been so supportive to the point of giving me tips/pointers and cheering me on. This is a great neighborhood bar and a place I’ve made many friends while drinking great wine and eating amazing food.
Love this spot! Great backyard vibes, amazing natural wines, and super friendly crowd. Always a good time at Frog
My husband and I had a fantastic experience at Frog Wine Bar! The atmosphere is cozy and welcoming, perfect for a casual night out or a special celebration. The wine selection is impressive, with something for every palate, and the staff is friendly and knowledgeable. Highly recommend stopping by if you're in the area — a hidden gem!
Loved sitting in the backyard and having a few glasses of wine this fall! I’ll definitely be back.

Great spot. Fantastic selection of wine. Friendly cozy, and friendly people . The owner Charles was very welcoming. My wife baby and I had a great Sunday afternoon here.

Nice bar. With a pool table. Seems like a bit of a dive bar. I tried the marmeo drink which is like a wine with the skin on it and it was really good. Not too sweet nor dry.

While waiting for dinner at a friend’s house, I decided to stop by The Frog, where I knew another friend was enjoying a lively pool (billiards) night. It turned out to be a great decision—we both had a wonderful time sipping organic wine and beer while meeting fellow neighborhood regulars. The food looked very appealing, but I had to pass since I had dinner plans later. I definitely made a mental note to come back and try it next time. The staff were friendly and helpful, which added to the relaxed, welcoming atmosphere.
Super cute place. I liked trying all the different wines, they have a few of each kind, without feeling overwhelmed by a giant menu.
This place is cute and when going early, not too crowded. The choice of drinks is pretty limited but I think that's on purpose. I always enjoyed the wine there and the pool table is a nice add on.

Wanted to give this place a try given all the hype. The good: Service: bartenders were friendly and knowledgeable Wine selection: they carry natural wine which is my preference. Backyard space. Love that they partner with local vendors for pop ups. Not so good: Vibe: music is definitely louder than I’ve experienced at other wine bars. Makes conversation difficult. Felt more like a dive bar than a wine bar. The crowd skews younger. We went early hoping to miss the evening rush but that didn’t help. All in all, it’s a solid place for some wine but wouldn’t return unless there was a pop up I was interested in.
Freezing cold place with 3 wine options on the menu and a food vendor using a portable toaster for food. Not impressed.
Minimal effort has been put into the atmosphere although it does have a nice garden in the back. Small wine selection. Servers will prioritize attractive women over everyone else when you want to get served.

I was looking forward to a visit here having read the reviews, but unfortunately my experience was terrible this past weekend. I was ignored continually at the bar, and once I could get a drink, it was like the bartender was doing me a favor. If I’m paying hugely marked up prices for a glass, it’d be nice to feel good about it. Secondly the place seemed very unsanitary? The toilet was a mess, and I wouldn’t feel good about eating there. Later I realized they have a B and read their scoring data. Filth flies? Sewage? Deficient dishwashing? Rodent conducive conditions! Yikes! Be warned.

Thought I would love this place (natural wine, casual, big backyard) but after 5+ visits I've never been wow'ed by any of the wines and its prohibitively expensive for the neighborhood. Mostly filled with cocky, cringe people. No community feel, except for sometimes around the pool table.
Just wow. If you’ve ever paid a reasonable price for a fine glass of natural wine, your spirit will die and be rolling in its grave the moment you see what they’ve got you on the hook for at Frog. If you love value, kind people, and a trendy yet welcoming vibe, it’s a skip.
Update below: A corny blight on the neighborhood. This place pretends to care about its neighbors, but routinely packs its backyard with the most annoying crowd who insist on yelling at each other. Not community minded, not considerate, super corny. Update: Unfair? You have never held a community board, I have lived here longer than you have been open. How about you have some basic decency and think about your neighbors from the jump. You opened like you own the block, I would have thought you’d learn from getting closed down for this reason last year. Courtesy over profits.
The security at the door is incredibly rude. He could’ve just said they closed at 12am. But did not disclose that info until they closed. It’s a shame. I heard it’s nice. Would never return. He was a jerk. Three thumbs down.
Frog is the kind of place that makes you question your life choices. The patio looks like the aftermath of a house party—chairs scattered everywhere, no sense of order. Step inside and you’re greeted by a pool table that completely kills the vibe of what’s supposed to be a wine bar. The bartender was curt, took my order, and then seemingly forgot I existed. As for the bathroom? Toilet paper all over the floor like it was trying to escape. If you’re looking for a relaxing glass of wine in Brooklyn, do yourself a favor and hop right past Frog.

The Frog bartenders are often sexist white men who push different wine on women. They also routinely pour different wines (which they are pushing on you) into the same glass — that is strange for a wine bar!
