It is a travesty that this place has a 4.2 average. My girlfriend and I order from here almost weekly and are extremely happy with the food every single time. Easily one of the best burritos I've had in New York!

Small and quiet restaurant... wanted to try some authentic Mexican food so pass by there.friendly server , I believe she is owner too. As didn’t have much ideas about Mexican food she recommended us some dishes. The best thing is she had vegetarian dish too as one of us is vegetarian. Hope this place will do good in future and will have more traffic. Good luck and thanks for making our time

My go to place on seamless. They close a bit early but if I can catch them when they’re open I always go for the chicken burrito. Fast delivery and consistent deliciousness.

I’ve been coming here for years. It’s my go to, never fails, always consistent and authentic flavors. I don’t eat meat but I’m sure it’s amazing as the shrimp are always so fresh and savory. My go to order is the shrimp super taco which comes with bell peppers and onion, and a side of guac and pico de gallo. If you’re a local please support, family owned small business that is actually amazing! Truly authentic and has that home made taste to it.

Delicious! I ordered online and got the super taco, which was phenomenal and a tamale made to perfection. My only complaint is that the churro I ordered only came with 1, but since it was da bomb, 5 stars. Send more churros😭😭😭

I order takeout from La Mesita two to three times a month. The burritos are fantastic and comes with guacamole and chips. Food is always ready when I go to pick it up and always treated with kindness when I get there. A very solid option.

I’m so sad about the negative reviews saying “so much grease, disgusting, etc.” this place is amazing. The food tastes amazing, I’ve tried burritos, tamales, tostadas, nachos, tacos(hard&soft), etc. and what I can say is that EVERYTHING is amazing (especially the tamales). When I went in person it was a woman in the kitchen and honestly u can feel the love put into the food! I would like to say I’m not saying anything about a woman in the kitchen (I hope that’s understood). I’m just trying to express that the best meals I’ve had were made by my mother and this food is just wonderful. I will say that maybe don’t order too much if they’re going to close in like 45min but they have WONDERFUL & DELICIOUS food!

Food is just as authentic and delicious as it gets. I love this place. Now that I know of it, I will surely be coming back soon. Chorizo Burrito and Vegetarian enchiladas were both fantastic. Also the pineapple drink with blended pineapple in it was SO GOOD. Recommend this place but don’t ask for spicy if you can’t handle it.

This place was out of this world horribly disgusting. We ordered a shrimp fajita and shrimp quesadilla which arrived looking like a totally different order looking like a burrito and shrimp in white sauce with rice and old beans! Then when you call to tell them they pretend not to understand you! I’m definitely disputing this!!
