Classic dive bar, although not super grungy. Drinks are cheap and there's usually an interesting mix of hipsters and old-school locals.

They didn't have margaritas when I came in recently, but bartender seems nice. Watch out for loud guy named Jonny who is totally a shot pusher and pool shark.

If you like a good dive bar, this one is worth checking out. Beer and shot deals, pinball and pool.

I'm sitting here (close to the front door) and I enjoy the smell of cigarettes (and bud). You nee to appreciate the alcohol that had soaked into the bar top over the (idk how many) years. After walking up the strip I saw midway and was like I think I need to go here. Listen... Stop wasting time looking for the "best" spot in Williamsburg and just come here and enjoy your chill night.

Nice bar with a dollar Pool table in the back. Drinks are decent, ppl are usually pretty cool and laid-back -- it's a perfect place to go after work to grab a beer and a game.

I had 4 of their standard size about 8 ounces and a 12oz larger variety. Had 1 additional drink before heading out of 8 oz size all for $40 with a generous tip.

The employees/owners have zero respect for their neighbors. Constantly throwing parties and after hour hangouts on the street on any given night between 4am to 6am. The bar itself has sticky floors, seats falling apart, and creepy vibes. 0/10 would never go back.

Do NOT go here! I went here and there was a huge rat behind the counter. The bartender Emily is great tho :)

I was there on Saturday night celebrating with my friends and one of them unfortunately felt bad, it was already after 3am and she wanted to go to the bathroom. When she was there the restroom was busy and she vomited on the floor of the place, once that happened the security guard came in to take her out of her in a bad way, so I told him shouldn’t do it so she was a woman. He became angry and threatened my life, stabbing me in the chest and cutting off my arm. Is it possible for a security guard to protect customers with a knife?

Bartender told me the cc machine automatically charges a 20% tip. Unfortunate because I would have tipped more. Wild concept to tell a customer they tipped themselves for a $40 tab. Do better. Also the coqutio and Moscow mule were tough to swallow. Small serving, paying too much for a subpar coquito and Moscow mule without any ginger beer. WILD

Friends and I got kicked out for smoking when we literally weren’t.

It is with a heavy heart that I type this review regarding this bar and the behavior of a bartender there named Ryan. A few friends of mine had been spending some time at The Carribean Social Club aka Tonita’s. We had decided to come here with a few new friends to keep hanging out. One individual we came with was trying to communicate with Ryan and I saw the frustration on Ryan’s face. When I had talked to the gentleman it was revealed that he knew little to no english. He was explaining to me and my friend that he was having a hard time asking Ryan about the menu. He wanted to know what was on tap, any specials, etc. We asked Ryan about this and he very angrily gestures towards a poorly dimmed menu and gets very upset with us. He talks over us and then I say “excuse me why are you yelling at us? Our friend cannot speak english and we are trying to translate for him”. And Ryan says “I don’t care it’s not my problem” and very dismissively puts his hands in the air. Our friend was very devastated and says that he gets treatment like this all the time from predominantly non-POC operated bars. Very blatantly treating him with racist and belittling remarks. To think that this place tries to position itself as a safe space for the marginalized is sick and I truly hope no one steps foot in here thinking they’ll be treated with genuine support. Racism, xenophobia, and bigotry like this needs to end. Period.
