Avis sur OS Cafe Brooklyn
Modest storefront cafe is a nice little oasis in Park Slope. There’s no hustle or bustle at Os Cafe. It’s quiet, quaint, and a relaxing place to enjoy a morning pastry with tea or coffee. It’s a little hidden and you might miss it if you weren’t paying attention but that’s the allure. It’s very peaceful and a good place to take a breather with a nice beverage. The cafe interior is nestled with many plants and succulents which is a nice touch. The seating outside is also very quiet. Great place to grab an espresso ☕️ and sip slow. The pastries and drinks are well made. Highly recommended ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Nice coffee shop with lovely outdoor seating, good drinks, and a variety of pastries. I got an iced hazelnut latte which was nicely made & not too sweet, as well as a lemon poppyseed cake with almond. I didn’t enjoy the cake as much but the shop had a variety of unique pastries which I would love to try in the future, maybe with their london fog or cardamom chai. Seemed like a decently popular neighborhood coffee shop as there were a good amount of people popping in and out. The neighborhood gives the outdoor seating a particularly quaint atmosphere, a lovely place to sip coffee and read a book on a sunny day.
The goat cheese quiche is out of this world! The vibes are very chill and soothing. Small cafe and it's exactly how I like it, makes me feel like I am not in NYC. The place to go if you want incredible drinks and very tasty treats.
Laidback neighborhood coffee shop. Wonderful coffee and the customers know the barista’s name. You know it’s a good spot. 😊
Come here if you like a good couple owned cafe serving great coffee with no pretense.
Love the Cortados a here. There’s also a decent selection of pastries. Cute cozy place
Good scones and coffee. Get there early got out the oven.

Great little gem hidden on 6th ave in park slope. Staff is friendly, pastries are fab(I believe the owner makes them) I'm addicted to the chocolate croissant! Coffee is great, too👌👌
I love everything about Os. It’s a small but mighty operation. They have some of the best croissants and apple turnovers in Brooklyn and, of course, great coffee. The atmosphere is very cozy too: cute decorations, lots of plants, and good music. Highly recommend!
Best Chai latte. Most places use a premade chai concentrate that is very sweet but this place brews their chai in advance with no sugar in it which allows you to choose how sweet you want it to be. Very cute cafe with outdoor seating as well as indoor. It’s always clean. The outside seating has shade from the trees that make the cafe feel very inviting.
Enjoyed a fresh-out-of-the-oven chocolate croissant and an Irish Cream latte, on a glorious autumn 🍂 Sunday. The cafe is adorable, so warm and inviting (lots of plants, subdued lightning) Plenty of outdoor seating, friendly staff. What's not to love?
Great local place in the neighborhood with high quality coffee and incredible homemade pastries. Owners couldn’t be kinder. My go-to for coffee in South Slope.
I had just come to the realization that all croissants in greater Park Slope are more or less the same, different shapes perhaps but basically the same taste components at every bakery and cafe from north to south. And then it happened, I had a fresh OS croissant, the dreamiest blend of sweet to savory, dense and light and I couldn't get that flavor profile out of my mind, no competition.
Delicious homemade baked goods and drinks. Welcoming atmosphere with charming art, plants, and great music! The owner is so kind and welcoming. Highly recommended!
Great pastry and coffee. Friendly staffs. Apple turnover pastry is so good.
Espresso lover stopping by as first time here - Great oat milk cappuccino in addition to a great black current scone - yum! I'm usually patronizing the more popular espresso cafes in North Slope but I was in the area today and gave it a try. Nice ambiance with the plant decor but small with only 3 tables inside. A few more tables outside. Overall, a great addition to South Slope.

Quiet, family run coffee shop with fresh, buttery pastries. Best mocha in town. Owners are super nice and friendly. If this place were on 5th Avenue, it would be mobbed at all times.

Nice little village vibe park cafe with plants etc. The coffee is average. Coffee - 7.5: the bitterness & sweetness of the standard NYC cup is there but it does have some flavour and a lot of strength so it would be perfect for your first cup of the day. Other than that I’d probably avoid.
My husband and I have been going here most weekends throughout the summer, it's a hidden gem in the neighborhood with great coffee and a nice atmosphere. Recently I went in by myself with my small dog in a tote bag, and was told there are no dogs allowed inside, which is pretty odd for the neighborhood and there is no sign stating this. I understand it's completely up to the business if they allow dogs or not, but it was a very awkward and almost punitive interaction and I was made to stand outside while waiting the 2 minutes for my coffee to be made. I do not feel welcome back to this cafe unfortunately, so I probably won't be returning.

I had a thoroughly average experience here on a Saturday morning. The one employee working appeared extremely frazzled, doing the work of at least two people. The texture of the almond croissant I ordered was not right at all- very chewy on the ends to the extent that it sort of hurt my mouth to chew (odd, considering the rest of the reviews lauding this place’s pastries). I carried my small dog inside, which is sort of the unspoken rule of the Park Slope area. The barista told me dogs weren’t allowed inside, okay, fine, yes- but upon further observance, there weren’t any signs stating such. The outdoor seating is very nice, but the overall experience was really lacking.

Yesterday, March 24th, 2024 I had called and left a message for the OS café, inquiring if they hosted “Book Events.” I am a published author and have a new book coming out very soon. My intention was to promote some of my older works to make people familiar with my work and pave the way for my newest release. A young lady named Tasnin returned my call a short while later and told me that OS Café would definitely be open to hosting a book signing. Needless to say I was elated. We set up an appointment for me to come in and meet with her the following day. I told her I would bring samples of my books and she said she would show me the space where they host book signings. This morning, March 25th, 2024, I received a text from someone at OS café, which read, “We are not interested in book signing events.” I found this to be most shocking, disappointing and maddening, seeing as there wasn’t even an apology included. I explained to whoever it was that was texting me that I had set up an appointment yesterday with a young lady named Tasnin who had told me that they do host book signings and that I had told her I would be there at lunch time. The cold response I received to this was, “Yes, we are not doing any events. Sorry for the confusion.” At least this time they said they were sorry. As an author the desire to share one’s work with the public is immense and yesterday I felt as if OS café was giving me that gift, where I would have been able to share my work, only to have that dashed to pieces. In my professional opinion OS café needs to work on their communication skills…
