Rica rica rica. Great Dominican food. Been going there for close to 15 yrs since whenever they open to be honest and the food is good. Still pretty affordable since it seems all the other restaurant near them have increased significantly.

Excellent food fare. Great customer service, delivery was prompt and hot so no reheating necessary. Very generous portions. I ordered the pollo guisado con moro and there was enough of a serving where made two meals out of one. Just call ahead of time. Sometimes either they close early or delivery services are not available.

This place was beyond the expectations that we had, full of people and really nice staff. Plates are loaded and quality was great! We enjoyed, also because we were the only tourist in ages I supose. The speak spanish and was easier for us! Smell fry all the time, but the space is minimum, but perfect. I would repeat someday..

The place is usually packed for a reason. The food is excellent! Definitely not a hit or miss. They serve breakfast all day. The roast pork sandwich is excellent. I recommend having them add barbecue sauce on those days that you're looking for a nice BBQ style sandwich. The bacon cheeseburger is the best in the neighborhood. If like me you can't stand going to restaurants where they are cheap w/ the fried plantains...search no further. You can buy plantains separately in small & large quantities. It's also a good place to buy side dishes if you want to cook dinner, but don't feel like making certain things, ie. rice, beans, plantains, etc. someone commented about bedbugs in their review, but I have never seen any bug or vermin to speak of. It is a clean establishment, professional and friendly staff. And best of all...they deliver. I am a very satisfied customer!!!

I'm getting lunch here all the time. The food is great and the staff is friendly. There are a few tables and a bar to sit at or you can take it to go. Definitely good for a quick meal.

If you are looking for a place to have a great breakfast, look no further. Though primarily a Dominican style restaurant, they have a variety of choices that cater to multiple ethnic groups and tastes. Their breakfast menu is the stand out for me. The oatmeal is done perfectly and everything is fresh. The people working there are friendly and helpful. It’s my go to spot and you should definitely try it for yourself. The look of the place leaves a little to be desired since it’s a little on the plain side, but the place is clean and that trumps any aesthetic concern.

This place is very popular for the fish and chips . Plus other dishes collar greens mac and cheese and other dishes that is very good .you have peach cobbler and things ect.

This is a great spot for breakfast. There a small sitting bar and three tables on the side. I does get crowded at time. I usually have a good experience but the last time I went people was coming and going with their food while I already ordered and didn't get mines. I said something to the guy. He realized my food was already done but had an attitude that I asked where's my food. 🤔🤔

The food is always really good and it's super affordable BUT they really need to improve their phone delivery system because the current way they are doing it is awful. You call and are basically put on hold for a long while. I just called to ask a question and was put on hold for several minutes. The other phone rings (they have two phones) and the lady picks up that call and tends to that order before she resumes my call. When she does pick up my call, she has some trouble hearing me at first and immediately hangs up. There have been countless other times where it's been difficult to get them on the phone and then we you do get them on the phone (and this mainly happens with one specific person) you have to repeat yourself so many times because this lady is rushing you through the entire thing without actually taking the time to listen to what it is that you're trying to order. I get that they are busy and it's because the food itself, again, is delicious and always arrives hot....BUT the long wait times and frustration when calling gets old after a while. We've had our orders wrong a few times likely because of her rushing through so much and not listening closely.

Over rated for nothing, there are other Dominican restaurants. The food is not so good. They are very unprofessional, unless you come there frequently and whomever answers the phone. Don’t!

The food is good prices vary i just think this place has gone hollywood they used to be better at customer service now they just rush through everything

Do NOT order the beef stew is horrible Beef stew should be soft + tender not tough & dry. Cook the beef slow & low temp to make it better. Wasted $8 Baked Chicken is always amazing.

Today i called, just to try them again because in the past I’ve had bad experiences, but it’s been a year so I said let me see. Either way, the first time I called she hung up. Second time place me on hold for 20 minutes to tell me they didn’t have what I wanted. I’m so over this location on Utica. I actually went to the other location on Marcus Garvey and vernon, they are actually respectful and the salmon in garlic sauce is great.

Has poor customer service, I waited almost 2 hours for a simple delivery, I called to check up on the order, the phone would ring out and no one would answer. I think that was very unprofessional. If you guys are running behind times with deliveries inform your customers about the wait, or just say you are not doing deliveries at the moment. I am very unhappy with this service and will never purchase food from here again even if it is a walk in.

If you want to waste your time and still not be served your food after ordering and waiting for 20 minutes then go ahead and patronize. If cross contamination is your thing because you do not have allergies or dietary restrictions, then go ahead and eat.

Don’t even have a direct number to order for delivery or pickup. That number on the site will send you a text with a link to order which it doesn’t work either. Very disappointing… waste of time.

I am very upset with my purchase these ppl cook with no seasonings they are the first Spanish restaurant I have ever tasted to serve me food that taste like it belongs in the shelter pls do better and as a Dominican myself I am ashamed to call this Spanish food

There mangu was too oily and it had a weird taste. not sure if they put Sansón Goya but it’s not traditionally made like that.
