Great local bar! It’s a great place to meet someone for drinks
The definition of a great neighborhood spot! The saloon like atmosphere, great beer selection, pinball machines, and solid pricing for the area all make the Coyote Club TOP TIER! Most of my friends love this spot and frequent it, I understand why! Wish I lived closer because I would be a frequent flyer. Feels like a hidden gem. Great vibes and attentive staff. Looking forward to visiting friends just so I can come back here!
Once you get past the bouncers, who frequently look like they want to stab you and only refrain because they are getting paid not to kill you, it's an interesting, quirky neighborhood dive bar. Cash only, prices ok, good bathrooms, a few pinball machines, open late. Would go back, but seriously, someone should tell security they'd be so pretty if they smiled more.
It's fine. Rather dark and very loud, but if you're into that it's fine. Cool photo booth, not many of those left in the world. Pinball. Reasonably priced.
Cute dive bar with pretty good prices. Bartender I always see working is kind of rude but I guess I would be too if I worked there. Did give me and my friend drinks that were mostly water though, but that might’ve been a one off because they’re usually stiff. Great dive bar frequent fliers. Open insanely late.
The bartenders were standoffish and one had an attitude. My group was polite but one bartender put a lot of her energy into being rude. Most bartenders are at least friendly to make tips. The atmosphere is cool, a little dark but the art is awesome. There are comfy booths and arcade machines so it’d be fun for a group but the crowd is definitely 30+.
This place is horrible..! They stereotype you as soon as you walk through the door. DO NOT COME HERE
PLS HIRE NEW BARTENDERS WHO ACTUALLY KNOW HOW TO BARTEND! Dear owner have your bartender complete the ATAP / Responsible alcohol service training and highly recommend they complete the TIPS certification (or other alcohol server certificate) As a bartender myself who was off on nye night for the first time in 5 years. I came here on nye and waited about 15 minutes to talk to someone about a drink - no biggie it’s a holiday and super busy BUT the chopped female bartender who’s tall and looks south asian saw me waiting and being patient/polite and the bartenders offered free champagne to everyone who came after me for a drink and everyone who came up around me were helped first even though she saw me. After 15 mins still not helped the ball dropped and it was officially 2026! No biggie that we still haven’t gotten drinks yet at that point but pls take care of people in order especially if you saw them first. I waved hi to her when she saw me and she rudely couldn’t say it to my face but told the short white bald heavy bartender to come over to us instead (I’m only being rude cuz their attitude was unacceptable) he came over first and I asked if there was champagne left - and I was willing to pay for it and he said “no” and walked away and continued to pour champagne for himself and his coworkers behind the bar fully ripping shots with his coworkers while on the clock and sipping champagne that a customer had asked and wanted to pay for. So the chopped south Asian girl bartender walks over finally and YELLED mimicking my hi and wave back 3 times and waved her dirty hand in my face. Please have the owner or HR check the security footage at 12:06am of 01/01/2026 right side of the bar closest to the dj set, and strongly recommend to correct this behavior. I waved right back and she said, “happy new year what do you want.” I said “happy near year” back and looked at my boyfriend who was about to order a beer and i had a cash $100 tip in my hand to just treat the hardworking bartenders for the holidays and instead told my bf “lets go somewhere else” so glad I saved that for someone else who deserved it. We live behind the street of this bar and have heard from neighbors that it’s very weird in there and the bartenders have super weird energy and discriminate you if you don’t have a certain vibe like them. I’m legit a poc as well and just wanted to have a nice night out close by and I’ll never be back thanks to the rude bartender girl who doesn’t know how to bartend like how can you be both chopped and rude please pick a struggle.
TLDR; was called a liar and had money pocketed by bartender for being confused. Editing to note that I have been to Coyote Club once before. I was really looking forward to this evening. We walked in with a large group, about 20-ish people all doing a bar crawl; when we arrived, the bar was not busy. Our host had reached out via DM several days in advance to give a heads up that a large amount of people would be showing up, but was not responded to. We do not arrive in a loud manner. Several of us notice the bartender with the shaved + tattooed head was visibly annoyed. We set our things down and my partner goes up and orders a beer, a shot, and hot dog. He’s told there’s a wait for the hot dog and says “No problem!” I go up shortly after and order a Blue Moon and hot dog. Again, 15-20 min. I say “no worries! Thank you.” He doesn’t tell me a total, but I know everything is decently priced, so I hand him a $20. He hands me my change and tbf, I wasn’t paying attention to the amount of change. I had been drinking since 2:30 and it was about 7:30 at this point, but in no way am I being a rude drunk patron. So, I leave all the singles he hands me for the tip. ($3?) was that enough for hot dog and beer? No, not even at their good prices but again, I am drunk! I assumed he put it on my “tab” because several other people in this group have ordered hot dogs already and were told there is a wait. About 20 minutes later, my friend gathers his food, so I go check for my order. The other bartender with a black bob is available, “Hi. We ordered some hot dogs earlier, are they ready?” They walk away and grab 2. They come back and I say thank you but they say something I don’t quite hear. While I’m picking up the trays, I hear “$8 for the hot dogs.” “Oh! I thought we had paid for them earlier?” They walk away to ask the #1, and he says no. My partner is telling me he definitely paid for his, but at this point, it’s a couple bucks and I don’t find a need to argue or try to figure out what happened—I just I take their word for it, because I know I am drunk at the end of the day, so I hand them a $10 bill. #2 takes the money from me, starts laughing and says: “Oh so you lied. I just caught you in a lie.” She continues to loudly exclaim, “You said you paid, but you’re giving me money. So you know you didnt pay.“ “I’m gonna be honest, I’ve been drinking since 2:30. I wasn’t paying attention to how much cash I was given.” #2 walks away with my $10 and doesn’t return my change. My partner and I are standing there asking what just happened to ourselves, and I frantically grab a menu to double check our math. My partner is frustrated and lost, so he tries to speak with #1 who took both of our orders and he doesn’t do much explaining. When we try to clarify the situation, #2 very angrily says “it’s a cash bar. We don’t have tabs.” And tries to brush it off that it’s “not a big deal” (while being the one who made it a big deal). I’m an honest person. I am not going on bar crawls to try and pull a fast one on a bar over a hot dog. I was willing to pay twice, since I truly believed I had paid for everything I ordered but they immediately accused me of lying in front of the entire bar. I understand if I was in the wrong, but never in the exchange was I insistent I had paid for anything, nor was I angry in any capacity. I do not understand why someone who is clearly not being aggressive would be met with such a reaction. All they could have done was ask me how much I paid earlier/what I ordered. Other individuals in our group were met with terrible attitude and I cannot stress enough how none of us were being rude or belligerent. At the next bar, I heard several people talking about how poorly they were treated. Our host for the crawl is a regular and had never seen these bartenders before, nor had anyone else who frequents.
Snotty lady working here on Thursday evening. Walked in, tried to ask if any of the open stools were currently available for us. The guy was clueless responding he had no idea and she felt the need to aggressively splain that the drinks there meant the seats were taken. Ya think…? Walk in to no one greeting or saying anything, and ask a simple question .. only to get complete guff.. Cannot recommend, won’t try again.
This is our neighborhood bar. Today my wife and I snuck out for a drink before having to take care of the kids. We walk in and greet the bartender with a “hi” while making eye contact before sitting in our seats. The bar tender passively aggressively hands us a menu and says “ok” in a sacastic tone. I ask her what is wrong and she says “it’s polite to greet people when you walk into a place.” What a bummer experience. We left immediately to let her be alone.
Repeatedly forced to give up booth seating for reservations at a dive bar? And the people reserving don't even pay anything. They just tell the bar they want a booth and are extra special so they can waltz in at peak hours and claim whatever they want. Terrible policy.
