Literally my favorite bar over the years. Incredible music, good food, consistently good drinks, and excellent outdoor seating. Bar staff has always been really nice. During COVID times their outdoor accommodations have been really great - fully outdoor spots for the more conservative, and a heated outdoor/indoor spot for those on the fence (all outdoor spots very dog friendly). Always a great hang.

STOP I freaking LOVE this place. (coming from a 21 year old) GREAT 60's-80's music (Cher *chefs kiss*), the people! here! are! wonderful! They are so kind, so cool (in every way; look, vibe, swagger, kindness, etc). The drinks here are beautiful. I recommend the tequila drink with hot honey, and the mezcal drink with the pepper. Ok look, I NEEDED this burger, I didn’t know I needed it, but I see the light. It was perfect. Meat seasoned to perfection; a cheese slice that provided full-patty coverage. The pickles weren’t no run of the mill pickle, but a fresh, slightly sweet pickle. It wasn’t sloppy, but stood firm with a generously thick patty. This burger is the bees knees.

I love this bar. It's much more open plan than most Brooklyn bars which makes for a social vibe. And the outdoor seating on a late summer afternoon is lively and shady and one of the best people watching spots in Fort Greene.

I've been on the lookout for COVID-safe bars, and The Great Georgiana certainly fit the bill. The tented outdoor seating area has heated lamps so you can huddle in your winter jacket and sip on vodka, Russian-style. Somewhat unseasonably, I ignored the bartender's suggestion of the hot toddy and went with the Slim Fittins (Tito's vodka, basil, lemonade). Yeah, I was basically drinking lemonade in 40 F weather. Having sufficiently frozen my fingers, I replenished my blood circulation with the house red and kind of wish I just had two glasses of it and called it a night. Nice place to catch up with friends or coworkers you've not seen since the dawn of face masks. My former colleague and I went on a Wednesday evening around 6:30, and it wasn't crowded at all.

I popped in for a drink with hubby. The Great Georgiana is a chill spot. I found it to be a perfect place for me to people watch while sipping on a perfectly made Aperol spritz and enjoy hubby drinking Jamison neat.

Very chill, laidback bar. Came in early and had a cocktail and read a book. Wasn’t too busy. Good service.

This is a nice place to stop and grab a bite and a drink. Small on the inside. But cozy. Wings are a very nice size.

Drinks good; the location awesome; the crowd cool; the prices right for cocktails, beer, and wine. The wine is actually very good, better than a lot of others in this lovely hood, especially for the price in a time where there's too many blah meh wines out there for 14 plus dollars. Mind you, the food is pub food except for the cheese plate that should satisfy most any appetite for its ample portion and quality cheeses. The service is relaxed; the mood, cozy. So don't be uptight about waiting when it's busy--so just the right snug for a cooler crowd.

A really relaxed and cozy setting with lots of space outside. They were understaffed so service was a bit slow, but the drinks were good. The best part of coming here is just walking down Dekalb on a breezy Saturday night in summer. There are string lights everywhere, people dining or drinking outside on every corner - just a great buzz to the neighborhood that feels like you could be in Europe! If we stopped allocating so much NYC street space to cars there could be a whole lot more of this!

The vibe wasn't my favorite, but could have just been the night I went. Pretty middle-of-the-road experience for me.

Our veggie burgers were not hot, and they were way undercooked. Too much onion was piled on top, but the onion wasn’t caramelized as advertised but rather it was clear gelatinous mush. Salad was very basic, only lettuce l, Parmesan and cranberries. Overall our food was quite disappointing. No AC available indoors.

The great thing about living near the Georgiana is seeings it's changes over the years. It's not the vibe it was when it opened. But for many I'm sure it's hip hop vibe now is nice too. But not mine. I wish the bartenders didn't dress in goodies like they were coming from the gym. If you walk in and there is no music you will discover a beautiful chill place to hang out with a glass of wine or cocktail. Not once the bartenders music comes on...well that's up to you. I miss the djs with the soul.

Came here just for evening drinks on a Wednesday night. It was a very relaxed and cozy setting with lots of space outside. Both inside & outside available. They were understaffed so service was very slow! I got my espresso martini & it was truly amazing. So highly recommend. Other people's drinks were good as well from what I heard. It's a nice spacious corner restaurant. But I felt like there was no staff & the place had no direction. There's food & drinks avaliable.

The bartender was so good, can tell he takes pride in his work. Even the discounted HH drinks were on point. BUT, we ordered food of the dinner menu and did not enjoy it. The burger was a 100% frozen patty that I think might have been freezer burnt, thrown straight to the grill frozen, and then over cooked. Also ordered fried chicken strips in some kind of Asian spicy sauce. They would have been great if they weren't burnt to hell. Beautiful space. Kitchen needs help.

Terrible service, almost an hour to get a piece of cheese with literally 3 pickle and 3 walnuts. Terrible wine and rude waitress.

The bar seemed nice at first but after our group (about 10 ppl) got settled and was in the middle of talking, the music suddenly became very loud we couldn’t hear each other. We asked the bartender and was told that it’s a matter of policy - if there was a certain amount of ppl in the bar the music had to be loud. People just started leaving because there’s no sense in hanging around when you couldn’t hear anyone talk including yourself. I’m just confused why music volume has to be a rigid rule when there were only 20ppl in the bar and everyone was clearly uncomfortable with the sound level?

The Strawberry Margarita was soooo strong i had one sip and just left it there. Undrinkable. We ordered food as well, The Mac and Cheese was tasteless and so small not Worth the $13. We also got the Grilled cheese it was Okay. Not great. Over all the outdoor seating was nice but not coming back.

Brunch: Slow service, mediocre food

I'm sure this is a nice neighborhood bar. However, I sat at the bar on a Sunday early evening, not crowded for about seven minutes without being greeted or served. Oh, I was told, "I will be with you in a minute." I held a full conversation on the phone. That "minute" came and went. I left.

Took 1/2 hour to get an eggs Benedict, when I was the only one in the place, and the bartender/server didn't say a thing when I asked about my food or when it was delivered. Food was fine but not worth the poor service - go elsewhere.

Worst bar in Brooklyn with horrible service. My girlfriend had fireball dumped on her skirt by a worker after he shoved her out of the way for no reason after she had just arrived sober and would've moved if asked politely. Bar interior is awfully configured and drinks are expensive for what is essentially a glorified dive bar. Would recommend any other bar.

People working the bar have no sense. I'm ready to put in my drink order and bar order. He's like I just need your drink order. Why can you not take both are you also going to be the one working on my food? Of course not and the place is busy so why should you not take the full order. Then I don't have to wait longer to get my food. For a place in the city operations should not be inefficient.
