Yum! Burritos, tacos, chicken and rice…flavor, flavor flavor! Yummiest móle sauce. The chicken noodle soup is best for when you are under the weather lots of veggies, homemade! My fav is chicken tostadas and chicken mole..

I go here all the time and I never tire of it. Prices here are totally reasonable, portions are quite generous. I always go for their enchiladas (and a margarita of course).

J

Got a vegetarian burrito from here a couple of weeks ago! It was BANGING! one thing I can say though the horchata drink did NOT taste good at all, so I would deviate from ordering that. (This is solely based on the burrito as I ordered to go).

O
Oliver Spring

By far my favorite place in the neighborhood for Mexican food. Super consistent and friendly staff always make it enjoyable.

J
Jeremy Batt

The vegetarian chimichanga was huge and absolutely delicious. On the night I went (Wednesday) it even came with a complimentary glass of wine or beer. Loved it.

D

Love is place! An absolute neighborhood gem. A family owned restaurant and they are so sweet! Amazing food! My go to is carne asada and the queso!

D
Darren Conte

I'm glad this place is on our side of any wall that may or may not get built ;-). It's like you are in Mexico, eating the most fantastic, authentic food. Joaquina and her family will not disappoint you, no matter what you order. We live in NYC (surrounded by expensive gourmet Mexican restaurants) and go here once a week because ITS THAT CRAZY GOOD, cheaper and quite frankly - much better anyways. This is our constant 'go-to-spot' for lunch or dinner when friends and relatives visit us. Enjoy //:)

I absolutely love eating here and would recommend it to everyone. Definitely a neighborhood staple. The owner and staff are always so nice!

been going here for years, love this place! total neighborhood spot where they know their regulars. food is fresh + flavorful, great service, and lots of vegetarian options.

Service is good, prices are good, food is great! They have a great menu selection and always consistent with food preparation. My go to spot!! Vamos Al Tequila!! :-) If they would only deliver to Williamsburgh, it would be perfect!

N

Shrinp Taco Salad is amazing, so is the Burrito Buracho. Everything i've had has always been the tastiest, and best prepared. Always fast and friendly service. I'd go twice a week if i lived closer.

Delicious and generous portions

Definitely the best Mexican restaurant in North Brooklyn. Actually, the only authentic Mexican restaurant in the area. This is NOT a place where tattooed gringos with attitude serve inauthentic overpriced slop to crowdsourced gentrifiers and Time Out New York tourists. This is an authentic "mom and pop" family run restaurant run by folks from Mexico who know "what's up". These are family recipes. The sauces here; mole, red or green tomatillo or pipian or all superb. The enchiladas and tamales are home made and fantastic. Tacos and tortas are all on point and the quality of the chicken, shrimp and pork they source is well above the usual Mexican fare. Their beans and rice are the stuff dreams are made of. Delivery is rapid. Atmosphere is festive and blessedly free of reclaimed wood and Edison bulbs. Prices, for this upscale stretch of Greenpoint on Franklin, are cheap. Vamos al Vamos al Tequila! Tell em I sent ya.

My go to Mexican place. Clean, friendly atmosphere. Had the enchilada suiza with rice and black beans. Just enough spice to tingle your tongue but not overpowering.

L
Lauren Sics

I love this place. The service is not over the top friendly but it's efficient - and one evening they kindly offered our dog a bowl of water (we were sitting outside). The food is delicious and the prices and nightly deals are a steal.

Great food and service. Would definitely recommend the chicken enchiladas I had

Love this place. Not fancy but the food is authentic Mexican and delicious. Just watch the spice level if you're sensitive to the heat. The staff is friendly and very helpful. The Margaritas are awesome but don't get the frozen ones. Highly recommended.

Nice mexican food, well cooked and good flavor. I had the huaraches a very simple dish but delicious, good tacos and cold beer. Atention was nice and service fast, during My time there a lot a people came in, so it's a very popular place You can't go wrong with that

M

I had previously only ordered take out, but the restaurant always has a good crowd so I decided to dine in. The take out food is good, but the dine in was amazing. I had the carnitas poblanos and my friend got the cane asada; both were big portions and reasonably priced. Drinks and dessert were great too

o

It is the most friendly local Mexican place in Greenpoint. Every person working in here is happy and have positive energy. The food is good too, portions are huge. You can’t get this size to this price anywhere else in Greenpoint anymore.

We lived a couple blocks away from Vamos Al Tequila for 2.5 years and it was out absolute favorite restaurant in Greenpoint. It was always a joy to speak with the staff and out takeout orders were always correct and fast. We miss the food everyday!

I've been coming to Vamos Al Tequila since I first moved to Greenpoint in 2013. I've delayed writing a review because I was trying to keep the best kept secret in Greenpoint to myself. After 10 years of coming here, I'm ready to share my list of favorites. First of all, the best Crunchy Ground Beef Tacos are found here. They also recently added empanadas to their menu!!! If you're in the mood for a good burger, The Al Pastor burger is insanely decadent. As a Mexican National, I can testify to the fact that the Black Bean and Cheese Tamales, are spectacular! Sadly I can't share any photos of their amazing "Green Soup" because I was busy eating it while it was still hot. I love the fact that Vamos Al Tequila is family run. They really care about the quality of their ingredients.

We ordered 200 tacos on short notice and these people delivered in SPADES. The woman who run this place are the kindest individuals you will ever meet. Exceeded our expectations wildly and in these covid times they took the time to make everything safe for us to hand out to our crew. Incredibly wonderful people.

The food was pretty amazing here. The corn on the cob was delicious. I also had thr plantain enchiladas which i never had anywhere before. It was sensational. I would highly recommend for a bunch or dinner. Service was fast and exceptional. I will be back!!

I love this Mexican restaurant. They make the best green spicy sauce. I order their flautas and chicken tacos. Everything is yummy. They even deliver to Mcgolrick Park area if you call in the order. Nice people.

I never write restaurant reviews but feel compelled to respond to one that described the staff as “extremely rude.” I was eating at Vamos al Tequila during an incident involving a patron running away from a bee (!) and I can say with confidence that the staff was professional and gracious the entire time (the writer of this review was actually eating at a different restaurant). Vamos al Tequila is a lovely family-owned spot and the owner personally came to ask us how we enjoyed our meal. Our waitress was excellent and attentive. The margaritas are great, and the street corn is to die for—you need it in your life.

Came here the other day (it was HOTTTTTTT) my husband and I sat in a shady spot outside. They have umbrellas as well if the sun is beating down on ya! Menus are on the table and sealed/taped so they sanitize the tables and the menu stays there which is clever and sanitary! We ordered guacamole which came out quickly! The chips were super fresh and everything was in paper/plastic which is sanitary these days (sorry environment, we love you though) great guac! It’s hard to find guac under $10 anywhere these days and this one was. I ordered a vegetarian plate and my husband ordered chicken enchiladas in salsa verde sauce. We were both very pleased! Everything was so fresh! Our server was attentive yet kept her distance to ensure our comfort. Overall, we were very pleased. We didn’t order any drinks but two construction workers came in behind us to order margaritas to-go. He was raving about how “these are the best damn margaritas in town!!” So, heads up there :-) Some restaurants try so hard that they over-do it in regards to “reinventing the wheel”. Everything was simple, tasteful (literally) and cheap! We will be coming back. It’s always nice to write a good review and I try to when I am pleased with food and service 🤓

Loved this spot! Easy walk, unsure of parking BUT food was exceptional. The restaurant was a bit divey, yet cozy. Staff is very friendly but do not expect your food fast. Drinks were also great. I’d highly recommend this place.

Friendly staff, and even better food. Lovely family owned business, worth a stop if you're in the neighborhood! I always get the carne asada and queso with chorizo.

Great food. Not a fan of the tres leches which was dry but everything else was amazing.

Amazing! Walked past it a bunch and never tried it until now. Classic hole in the wall show stopper. Only had the veggie quesadilla but mind blowingly good. Def will come back!

I had a delivery of enchiladas, they were delicious. The delivery guy was fast and efficient on this rainy day. I’ll definitely call in again.

We were in Brooklyn from Arizona we stayed at the Franklin Guest House so we Google what restaurant were close, Vamos was our choice, we ordered margaritas, chips and guacamole shrimp salad and posole. It's was so good we went back the next day for the corn, tacos and flan everything on the menu was amazing and very authentic, our waitress Juanita deserves a shout out, she was very welcoming and recommendations was the best.. thank you look forward to going back..

My go-to Mexican spot in greenpoint for pick up or dine in. The food is always so fresh, down to every ingredient. They have so many options and even offer specials. Although we pick up often don't sleep on dining in. The staff is always so nice and suggest new dishes. One of my favorite spots, always great service

My favorite restaurant in the neighborhood! Have been going for years. Ingredients are very fresh. Love the extensive, healthy veggie options (I add kale & subtract rice), amazing seafood, delicious seasonings, generous porltions, affordable prices~ makes a weekly outing for me in the neighborhood! If you like spicy food this is your place, & they will adjust heat or turn it off at your preference. Family owned business, casual, they are a gem for Greenpoint!

Veggie quesadilla is 10/10! So good. I chose to leave off the mushrooms and zucchini, so had corn, onion and peppers. Seasoned with garlic 👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻 we got two big quesadillas for $34 also. Great spot.

Regular neighborhood spot. Down to earth, friendly service. Great food, big portions. Personal favorite vegan Mexican dish: Burrito Macho no dairy. The Salmon is great. The salads are good as well and huge. If you want only salad but are still hungry: Avocado Salad + Chicken.

J
Jason

Fresh ingredients, home cooked meal taste, affordable prices. Highly recommend the grilled salmon steak, well done. If you like that charred, BBQ grill taste...the grilled salmon will hit the spot! Comes with rice, beans, maduros (sweet plantains), and a fresh salad of tomatoes, avocado, cilantro, and red onions. Good sized portions, 1 plate is enough for 2 meals. Highly recommend this spot!!!

Hands down one of the best restaurants in Brooklyn. Total hidden gem! Huge portions of super delicious and authentic food at a great price. Unassuming and unpretentious. The servers are very friendly but not up in your face or over the top. As I’m writing this I’m salivating just thinking about the juicy carnitas, so much saucier and flavorful than any other carnitas I’ve had. The Fajitas Mexicana is delicious and almost enough food for 2 people. Feels like restaurants did 20 years ago before it was all about instagramming your food. I actually enjoy eating here more than Oxomoco and it’s 1/3 of the price.

I don’t know why people are sleeping on this place. This deserves way more than a 4.2 on Google reviews. It has 5 star on Seamless. I crave their Caldo de Pollo soup all the time. It’s real food. The huevos rancheros are so good. Everything I’ve tried there is good.

Love Vamos !! It’s my favorite lunch spot in the neighborhood by far, and amazing soups to get you through all seasons. My favorite items that really separate Vamos Al Tequila from other spots are the variety of homemade comforting dishes like the plantain enchiladas if you don’t want meat, or the enchilada lunch special where you can get spinach enchiladas, also the chicken and plantain lunch special meal, or the shrimp plate with rice and beans and spinach… the chicken mole enchiladas….. I could go on and on! Haha My husband loves the burritos and our kids love their rice and beans, but really the way the meals feel like comfort family dishes is something you just can’t find everywhere these days. Highly, highly recommend!!

This place has been a favorite of mine for at least a decade. Classic great Mexican food, clean nice interior and amazing staff. I recommend anything on the menu. I was just here again today and it was awesome. They have some of the best chips and salsa in nyc! Bravo and gracias!!

Absolutely love their food! I usually go for the Burrito Azul, the ground beef is seasoned to perfection, with a side of the spicy cilantro sauce. Portion sizes are pretty large - always end up taking leftovers to go. Nacho grande is also pretty solid. Service is fast and friendly, A+!

Delicious food, fantastic happy hour and great service. What else could you want? We enjoyed a paloma & marg during happy hour, nothing to write home about but they were $9! For mains we ordered: > Salted beef tacos. These were incredible, we were worried they would be super salty but they weren’t. They were just perfect and the meat was very tender with delicious pico de Gallo on the side > Cecina tacos: well cooked and very flavoursome Enjoy!!

Had the shrimp & chorizo burrito and it was delectable. Guacamole was smooth & delicious. Great value for money too. It has a more Tex Mex flavor profile though.

Me and my husband visit this restaurant regular. It is really great place with fresh and tasty dishes. Nice service and decor. Recommend especially The taco salad and shrimp fajita. Very good frozen margarita (guava) as well.

One of Greenpoint's best kept food secrets, the Tacos Bandera! GP insiders have been enjoying this for a while and more people should be basking in this food delight. It's only on the special menu for Friday nights, but they've made it pretty much every night of the week upon request. While this is my favorite dish, I genuinely love every dish I've had here. Some items are quite spicy, which I prefer, but caution to those that don't spicy does mean spicy here. Very friendly staff and table side space heaters while indoor dining moratorium is in effect.

I'm from the southwest where Mexican food is legit. New york struggles to provide authentic mexi food. The food culturally isn't gormet. It's comfort food. This place took me back home. Humble but on point!

Worth a visit if you are in the mood for tasty, authentic, Mexican dishes. Varied menu selections, including daily specials. Generous portions (definitely enough to share). Friendly and efficient staff. Reasonably priced.

Great little neighborhood spot. The food was great and the wait staff were very nice. The service was a little slow for the small amount of people inside but nothing unbearable. We had tacos, mexican corn, and a quesadilla. The tacos come with a little side of fruit which was a nice surprise! They have outdoor seats but unfortunately no alcohol can be served outside. Drink in, or be sober. I will be back for sure!

Stopped in to get a bite to eat after a long morning, we had the lunch special Pollo con platanos and steak burritos. The services was quick and the hostess that greeted us was very friendly. We came for lunch, the lunch special cost $12.95 but even if you choose not to get the special, the cost of the meals is very affordable. The restaurant have outside and indoor dinning, I would definitely recommend this restaurant.

Try the tacos governador, the carnitas poblanas are amazing . Chili rellenos are also pretty good . The burrito Rivera and the burrito maestro are both solid dishes . The women that run this place are amazing kind and accommodating . You can’t go wrong trying this great local hidden gem

Love this spot! Had the chicken tostadas, red pazole and a peach margarita. Their chicken was flavorful and juicy, honestly it did not disappoint. The pazole was a large portion and delicious. The peach margarita and the amazing service will definitely get me back here soon!

We ordered the burrito and enchiladas from the lunch special. The enchiladas, which had pork and green sauce, were well-cooked and flavorful. However, the steak burrito was a bit dry, and the meat was tough, though the guac and salsa on the side were tasty. It’s a cute spot, and the music adds a fun vibe.

Best Salmon Tacos I've ever tasted in my life and with a spicy kick. The only thing this place needs to be perfect is to work on its ambiance. Drinks were strong and tasty. Open late. Quiet outdoor area with fast service

I had an absolutely fantastic Cuban sandwich (Torta Cubana), while my girlfriend got the fajitas. Her steak was overcooked, so it was a bit hard and dry. We've only been there once, so I can't tell you if this is normal or a one-time occurrence. The limemade (lemonade, but made from limes) was excellent. Certain meals come with beer or wine, included. Staff was attentive and service was quick. Recommend it if you're in the neighborhood!

K

Food is pretty good but overpriced. Especially if you get anything other than just the standard tacos. Decent happy hour.

B
Brian Austin

When you travel around enough for good eats you come across some gems and some that are still lack luster however deserves some shine. Food isnt bad. In fact, complements to the chef. Last year i had some amazing tacos, this year a breakfast quesadilla. There is a wide variety of things on the menu, but certain things should really be thought out. Mexican cuisine is great food and if certain dishes are refined as well as service id give a solid 5. When someone asks for a Spicy Bloody Mary... We were serious. Put effort in your cocktails. 2 stars. Yet the Beer was ice cold and made up for it... 3 stars...

Had a very good brunch here on a pleasant Saturday afternoon. I got a fabulous beans, rice, kale, spicy scrambled egg dish. Service was just fine. I would definitely revisit this place! Update: Revisted recently, 6/22, and had a very good veggie burrito but the woman taking my order (short, a little older) ignored me over several other customers who came in after, was barely civil, could not comment or recommend anything (said she hadn’t tried any of my choices), and I felt like she didn’t want me there. Probably won’t go back.

C
Constance Garcia

I got the steak burrito and most of the steak was super chewy and unappealing. Very disappointed.

A
Adam Rubens

Vamos reminds me of many of the reasons that Mexican restaurants get a bad rap. Crappy, forgetful service. Pre-made and refrigerated guacamole, watery salsa, greasy pre-made tamales, old fish in the tacos, the charm of a Chi-Chi's in the suburbs that would receive a C in an NYC DOH inspection... No thank you.

L
Lindsey Jones

I've been coming here for years and have always found the food to be decent but the overall experience last night was horrible. My husband ordered a side of rice and beans and mid- scoop found a metal twist tie in his food! We were both pretty horrified and brought it to the waitress's attention. She didn't even say sorry just kinda shrugged and walked away. She could've brought a manager over to help with the situation if she didn't know what to do/ say, but no. So then we ask for the check and the bill comes with full charges (including an extra $1.50 for chips). At this point I go to the bar with the twist tie in a napkin to speak to someone in charge. After I explain where it was found the response I got was "We don't use any ties for the rice and beans". I don't know how that makes a difference if it was in the kitchen and ultimately ends up in someone's food. Yet again, no apology whatsoever. I felt like they were accusing me of planting it in the food. Not worth the effort for a $10 dinner sorry. I'd like to go back one day but not for a long time.

B
Blitz K

Food was decent but the service was poor. A bit in the expensive side for what it was too. Every thing was extra...including chips and salsa!

A
Aimee Wolf

I came here with my partner after a friend recommended it. I just don’t understand how people like this food and call it authentic, my food was so oily and greasy and I don’t think there was seasoning on anything so all I could taste was oil. I felt very sick after eating my food. My partner’s was a little better (he’s Spanish by the way, so he definitely knows authentic) but still missing on the flavor mark, though I will say all portions were very large. Paying for such a small basket of chips and salsa is wild to me and it was a long struggle getting the waitress’s attention so I could run home and lie down. The location is really fantastic and outdoor seating nice but for the price I paid there are much, much better places to eat.

R
Robert Merk

I feel bad for anyone who thinks this is good food. I'm pretty sure they used an eye dropper for the tequila in my margarita. I guess in NYC there is so much foot traffic, most places don't seem to be concerned with returning customers.

M
Miriam Marquez

Horrendous service! If you read the reviews at Yelp you can see how rude this people are with costumers. There are more good restaurants at the neighborhood that are more than happy to serve you. Please be careful with this place

G

The ugly Vieja Is very Rude. I went there for the first time and She was Very Rough I left the food over the counter. I will never come back again. Because of the Ugly And Unhappy Old lady Who works there. I think she is the Owner

F
Femi Oyewole

Unfortunately, the restaurant has not transitioned to payment methods like Apple Pay, Tap-to-pay card recognition, etc. When I went to pay for my order and found that I was unable to, one of the cashiers crudely expressed their frustration in Spanish, assuming that I could not understand. Extremely poor customer service, while still not using the most modern payment methods, which almost all of the local fare has upgraded to. Will not be returning here.

R
Rafal Zero

I will not go back here again. Went here 1 time and staff is very unfriendly and pretty much ignores anything you need. Went there a 2nd time thinking maybe they had a bad day. Same thing happens....ask for hot sauce and they tell me to go get it myself. I end up asking for my left overs to go and they bring back my burrito but they threw out the chips, guacamole, and salad that I had on the plate. Maybe they just hate me....I don't know. But I won't spend my money here anymore.

A
Alyssa Wesley

Take your chances. The food has good flavor but it’s not the cleanest place. I won’t be going back. Plus the host/servers are rude. Not really sure what that’s about, but all is enough for me to say “never again”

M

I cant believe I have to write a review in 2018 about being turned away at a restaurant because of a stroller. My friend and both of our two year olds were TURNED AWAY earlier today at lunch time by the lady who was opening because we had strollers. The place was empty, we were the first customers and the woman insisted that we could not come in because we had strollers. We said, we could put them in the back and it wouldn’t bother anyone that what was the big deal if the place was empty, I asked, and she insisted we could not come in because we those strollers and there was no space for them - insane that restaurant is big enough and it was empty! . We switched to Spanish because we both are fluent and we could not believe she was actually turning us away with our kids because of strollers unheard of. I asked if there was an owner or a manager ( I actually think she might be the manager, which is crazy) and she just slammed the door in our faces and ignored us, so we just left. We were starving and the kids were hungry because it was lunch time. The first time I came to this place a while ago, this same woman was very unpleasant but didn’t think much of it because it’s a simple nothing amazing of a place but to this type of treatment, it’s insane! Is that even legal? We didn’t want to make a scene because we were with our toddlers and she felt very powerful doing it which is the sad part because noone else was there and she thought she could get away with it. I decided to write this review because the neighborhood this restaurant is in is filled with kids and strollers. I only hope whomever is the owner reads this and does something about that woman and I for sure will not be coming back to this place ever again and will make sure to advise all the parents in the area, because this was humiliating and is nunacceptable!

The staff is extremely rude. I was sitting next door at Elder Green getting a cocktail on a Sunday at 3pm when a large bee started buzzing at our table. I jumped up out of fear and ran to the closest entrance indoors, which happened to be Vamos. It was pretty empty at that hour (about 1-2 parties inside). As I stood in the doorway waiting for the bee to leave, the owner of Vamos walked up to me and pointed outside, telling me I need to leave. I told her I was very scared of the bee and she said, “I don’t care. You need to be scared outside.” Can’t speak to the food, but the people there are very mean. I will never eat or recommend this place to anyone.

DO NOT GO HERE! THIS PLACE WAS HORRIBLE. The waitresses were horrible, the service and the food were horrible. Here is the story of my meal. I virtually never review restaurants because I'm usually a very easy-going customer who very rarely finds any major fault with someplace. I went in and sat at the bar. There was one waitress and two other tables full of customers (6 customers). This was at about 2p after the lunch rush. The waitress had me waiting for 20 minutes while she washed glasses, and attended to the other customers and then bussed and cleared their tables. No complaint there. OK it was a little slow but not enough to get me annoyed. I ask her to suggest something that isn't hot as I wasn't feeling well and didn't want anything hot. She said that I should look at the menu, which of course I was already doing. I order the fish tacos and I ask her if it was spicy. She says we can make it the way you want. I told her not hot. The food comes. Its burning hot with the spicy green sauce. I ask her why it is so hot and she doesn't answer me, just walks away. The bill comes. For two tacos, a small portion of rice and beans, and a small soda, it's $13.00. I'm thinking to myself thats a little expensive but I whip out my credit card to pay it. There is a sign on the wall which says credit card minimum $15.00. I'm looking right at it. She brings me the check and Its for $14.00. I ask her whats the extra dollar for. She says because your paying by credit card. I say to her no thats ok Im putting the tip on the credit card which brings it up to $16.00. She says no the food has to come to $15.00. I say no your wrong its the total. She says no your wrong. Now I've been using a credit card for about 30 years and no one has ever said this to me and then she continued to argue with me and say I was wrong. I said fine, that dollar that was your tip and I walked out. On top of bad food, bad service, and nasty, ignorant waitresses she who was about 19 or 20 told me I was wrong about something I've been using my whole adult life

We were there today. Waitress treated us poorly from the beginning. Meat was almost plastic, inedible. We complained about our food to waitress and she just walked away. No ethics no respect on top of very poor quality of food.

The older, heavier waitress is absolutely miserable and not an asset whatsoever to this business. In addition to barking at the young couple behind us to move their stroller out of the way (it wasn’t in anyone’s way, they were seated alone in the outdoor house area) loudly enough that our table could hear, she also took it upon herself to add a tip of her choice onto our bill after being rude to our family from the moment we walked in. The owner was understanding once the situation was explained but this waitress seems more like a liability than anything and ruined what would’ve been a decent experience. Please find a field to work in that doesn’t involve dealing directly with people because your behavior is disgusting.

Food was fine, but staff is rude. Sat on the patio after confirming that was okay, then walked inside every time I needed anything thereafter (4 times total), and when I asked about this, after stacking my dishes and tipping a standard 20% - genuinely wondering if it were preferred I sit inside next time - to two staff members standing at the bar of an empty restaurant, I was told ‘you’re choosing to be here and you don’t have to be, this is a private space.’ Totally get the message, just really confused about the context, but hey - message received.

Awful food. Disrespectful, sarcastic server. Server purposely closed an umbrella that was shielding my daughter from the sun. A couple with a baby in a stroller was ordered (not requested) to move a stroller that was not in anyone's way. Server repeatedly ignored requests for simple things like ice, napkins, etc. Apparently she enjoyed seeing her patrons discomfited. She seemed like some kind of sick individual. On top of all that the food was borderline inedible. Seemed like comida guardada that had been prepped the prior day. No one in our entire group ate more than half of what they ordered. Took the leftovers home & fed them to my chickens. And even they refused to eat most of the dreck that we got at this restaurant.

Went there to meet my friend who had just had a baby. We chose this place because we both have strollers and the restaurant is quite large. I was greeted by a waitress slamming down the menu. She came back a little while later and said “what do you want”. I told her that I was waiting for my friend and asked to please have a Diet Coke. It never came. My friend arrived with her newborn and when I helped her inside with her stroller the rude waitress looked at us both and said “there is no room for strollers” which there clearly was - and she dismissed us. My friend was shaken by this because going out with a new baby is daunting enough, let alone dealing with this. Never have I EVER felt discriminated against for having a baby. Waitress was rude and had attitude. We left and it was fine because as I was waiting the table next to me ordered their lunch and it really looked like slop on a plate. Do not go here. Waitress rude and food looked gross. This restaurant is definitely not family friendly

Even though this was not my first visit, my past experiences here with their customers service was rather poor as the main waitress gave off a very nasty attitude. I over looked that & thought I'd give it another try for the food remains good. Overall the Cheifs are amazing but horrible customers service. They are extremely short staffed to be the only Mexican restaurant in this area. That same waitress I encountered on my first dinning experience there was beyond rude to me on the night of October 7th, simply because I asked if I could order to go instead of dinning in, for it was extremely busy and barely any seats available, demanding that I sit at the bar & wait my turn. Her answer was very replemanding and demeaning, I understood it was busy but one should know how to represent their business well by communicating respectfully and treat customers properly whether under pressure or not.

Food was Good. I traveled from The Bronx to be disappointed. The Older female owner was very rude to me only cause I saw 4 tables available for a party of 6 (six) people and She tell me that I can't tell her how to run her business. I was only looking out for her best interest. And the fact that I'm Hispanic hurt me more. Sad how people talk to others. She needs CPR

Absolutely terrible service. The woman who took my order was very unfriendly and unwelcoming and acted as if my presence was an inconvenience. The food was just okay but not worth the price. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone.

DONT GO TO THIS PLACE! The waitress at Vamos al Tequila was unbelievably rude — I didn’t even stay to order. The attitude was disgusting from the moment I walked in. I’ll never go back, and I don’t recommend this place to anyone.

What terrible service!!!!! Please don't come here I am an Hispanic male and I attempted to get a table for a large group and was told it wasn't possible. And when a large white group came In they were allowed to make any table combination they wanted without protest. I was profiled because of my skin color and not allowed to enjoy my evening. all we wanted was to sit together like this lathe white group and we're denied. This establishment is very unfair.
