Awesome service. I got the sweet potato platter for $12. It was Vegan and took 15-20 minutes to cook, but high quality food takes long. Thank you
The food was delicious and the vibes were immaculate! I came here on a Sunday with a couple friends (happy hour on a Sunday!!) and I got a sandwich and a dessert (the homemade strawberry poptart). They had some great music playing and it was karaoke night which is cool, even though I didn’t sing. The staff was so accommodating and answered all our questions. The decor was so beautiful and on theme to the holidays, the mood lighting was cute especially for a date night, and the drinks were artisan as-well. Overall just a lot of intention, creativity, and passion for what they do, it really shows.
One of my favorite spots in NYC. Whether you’re lookin’ to munch on some Caribbean inspired bites, unwind after a long work week with a delicious cocktail, or turn up and dance with friends to Hip-Hop classics, Whisk & Whiskey and their wonderful staff have got you covered. It’s also great for date nights for all you love birds out there. They also have weekly events from food pop-ups to karaoke and not to mention a dog friendly backyard. Stop by!
If you're in need of a new favorite spot, let me introduce you to my go-to gem. This little fusion wonder marries Cambodian and Trinidadian cuisine in the most mouthwatering way. I’ve been here more times than I can count, and they never disappoint. The desserts? Out of this world! Whether it's the strawberry cake or the red velvet (which I swear I dream about), you can't go wrong. The current rolls are a must-try, but heads up—this place keeps it fresh with a seasonal menu, so get them while you can! If you're looking for something more comforting, the soup and chill event is unforgettable—I still crave that flavor. It’s the perfect spot to unwind after a long day, solo or with friends, or even to throw a party. Plus, there’s a backyard oasis that’s absolutely perfect for those summer nights. Oh, and the drinks? Outstanding. Trust me, you’ll want to sip on one of their signature cocktails while you soak in the chill vibes. Highly recommend you check it out—it’s easily one of my top picks!
Literally so good I could cry. Super comfortable and chill space, great music, relaxed energy when I was there on a Saturday afternoon. Got doubles and my partner got the brisket bake and YUM omg 😭😭 tearing up rn writing this review that I’m not eating it. Everything about the food was perfect; complexity of flavor, texture, I couldn’t stop thinking about it all day and can’t wait until I’m nearby again.
We only got a drink here but I’m looking forward to coming back to try their bake. The drinks were delicious and the outside dining area was perfect for a warm night. The staff here is very friendly and offered some great recommendations. Definitely looking forward to my next time back to try out other options.
I had time to kill before going to a comedy show at Union Hall. This place had been on my places to try list for a while. I entered and the atmosphere is so incredibly chill. It's a great first date spot. The bartender/waiter was super friendly. I had the tamarind sunrise, spinach gouda bake, and plantain chips. The pepper hot sauce is unbelievably incredible!!!! I saw the dessert case and knew I needed to stay for dessert. I got the cinnamom gyal and a snowball cookie. Neither were too sweet. I need to come back here and put that pepper sauce on EVERYTHING!!
Where should I begin? Whisk and Whiskey hosted my work holiday party. The owners, Chandra and Secoyah, went above and beyond to meet our needs. The service was exceptional, the drinks were outstanding, and the chicken bakes were mouth-watering. It had a really cool vibe and I loved the art. It's a great place for a drink and light bites, since the atmosphere is intimate and lively. I can't wait to go back for their breakfast bakes and pastries ❤️
Came in the afternoon with my bf and family for a cocktail and snack and i was very pleased. The staff was really welcoming and attentive. The maracas beach drink was delicious, I got two. The bake on the jerk bake was super fresh and tasty. Will definitely go back. Looks like a great little date spot too.
This place is such a vibe. I love that it is a bar and a bakery. Seems like it can function for calm morning and afternoons and a great time at night. I visited on this location on a Sunday afternoon. It is beautifully decorated. There is even a couch with a fireplace, which is where I chose to sit because it was so comfortable. The customer service is top notch here. I loved that the staff always checked on mr and asked if I need anything or if anything was okay. I ordered a sweetened iced tea, shredded beef bake and a chocolate chip cookie. The presentation for the bake was perfect for the simple dish. The bake was hot just how I like it, buttery and filled with just enough beef. The iced tea was refreshing and the cookie was light and sweet. I can't wait to go back to try more bakes and drinks. Give this minority woman owned business a try if you are near.
Visited Whisk & Whiskey off the recommendation of a “influencer” upon our arrival the establishment was relatively empty so we sat in the outdoor space in the back. We ordered the jerk chicken and the other one was the hot honey chicken. Both sandwiches weren’t great. The honey chicken taste like Walmart’s bagged frozen chicken. The only thing savory was the bread itself. We were totally not impressed and the food quality could have been better.
