Very good quality food. You can say that it's home made with better taste.
From the moment I walked in, I knew this place was special. The atmosphere strikes the perfect balance between cozy and elegant, making it ideal for both casual dining and special occasions. The staff were warm, attentive, and genuinely made me feel welcome without being intrusive. The food was nothing short of exceptional. Every dish was beautifully presented, bursting with flavor, and clearly crafted with fresh, high-quality ingredients. The attention to detail in both taste and presentation shows the passion and skill of the chef. I especially recommend [fool ]—it was unforgettable.
The food is to die for! Large portions, great service, and of course, a beautiful atmosphere, will allow your “date night“ to go over without a hitch. But bring a sweater, they keep the dining area quite cool, intentionally.
Highly friendly people. Everyone is so polite and very busy, but no long wait. Surver suggested food that how much we can eat, and not letting order too much food. The food is very tasty with reasonable price, and meat is very tender. When you sit for dine in, you feel like you are in Yemen, not in America. Their soup bowl and salad are very yummy and free.
Best authentic Yemeni restaurant in Brooklyn! Have been going here for 10 years, and food quality never changed. A+++ people, best food, I personally highly recommend Yemen Whdah Restaurant to everyone who loves lamb cooked to perfection that it falls off the bone.
If people knew how great their food is, they would be lining up at the door. Wow , this is the best restaurant to eat at PERIOD. Don’t mind the laid back atmosphere, it’s all about the food. Order a saltah and either half chicken or haneez lamb. I promise you won’t regret it.
YEMEN 🇾🇪 Excerpt from Eat the World NYC: Sometime a few years back, the owners of what used to be Yemen Cuisine in Cobble Hill decided to pack up the business and start fresh in Bay Ridge. As Atlantic Avenue seemed to be less and less conducive to operating a restaurant, 5th Avenue in their new neighborhood apparently has no limits for more and more Yemeni and other Middle Eastern-owned businesses. This address has went through a few changes since the move, first keeping the name Yemen Cuisine in English, then changing to a sign only in Arabic that said Yemen Wahdah. Wahdah means "unity" in English, and it is this name that they seemed to have stuck with, offering both languages now on their sharp new sign. Despite being old and frayed, the old laminated menus from Cobble Hill, still with the address from Court Street, have survived and prove the kitchen is still making everything the same way. Stickers have been placed over prices to offer new (higher) ones, but otherwise the feelings of their friendly hospitality are just as they always were.
I usually support Muslim Owned Restaurants, as soon as I walked in, it was a mess!! NO ONE TO ASK, NO ONE TO CLEAN a table which had plates and bones all over. The place was dirty, napkins, forks, food, bones all on the floor. The chairs were torn, I literally dried the table myself!! Took 10+ min just to get a menu. Smh! UNLESS THEY KNOW YOU, THEY DON'T GREET YOU! SAD! A really bad experience. NO PRIVACY IF YOUR COMING WITH FAMILY. Nevertheless when the food arrived it was warm, fresh looking, 🍗🍖🍚 , the Lamb Haneeth was okay, nothing crazy👍. GET YOUR LAMB HANEETH TO GO AND EAT IN THE CAR!!! SMH! The soup was okay. But definitely helps the throat and appetite. The Lamb Haneeth is like $33 (**smth about the bill seemed off**) for a plate of rice and normal amount of meat and on the side they add their veggie/potato curry. They have Qahwah available to customers that can drink, and have condensed milk if they prefer to add. Loved the Qahwah! "something about the spiced" Latest visit was much better
The food wasn’t that pleasing and wasn’t tasty. The service was terrible talking to the guy and he was very disrespectful. I don’t recommend to eat here at all.
Once i come from state of Michigan with 28 persons went there to eat after eating I asked for the check my charge was $3.700 dollars I was shocked I went to kitchen talking to the owner or the person in charge he was so rude in top of that I was charged extra fees for using my debit card I couldn’t say anything about it because I didn’t want my guest to know I will never go there again or advertise anyone to go there I recently dined atمطعم الوحدة في مدينة نيو يورك بيردج بروكلن in New York, and unfortunately, my experience left much to be desired. Customer Service: The customer service was subpar, to say the least. The staff seemed indifferent and uninterested in providing a positive dining experience. It was clear that they lacked the enthusiasm and attentiveness that one would expect from a restaurant. Food: The quality of the food was disappointing. Not only was the taste underwhelming, but it also fell short of the expectations set by the restaurant's reputation. It's safe to say that I was left unsatisfied with my meal. Prices: To make matters worse, the prices were exorbitant for the quality of both the food and service. I found myself questioning the value for money throughout the meal, as the prices simply did not align with the overall experience. In conclusion, I regret to say that my visit to [Restaurant Name] was far from enjoyable. I had hoped for a memorable dining experience but was met with lackluster service, mediocre food, and inflated prices. I won't be returning anytime soon, and I encourage others to consider their options carefully before dining here.I spend $3,700 for 28 persons this’s ridiculous
Food was below average. Meal : saltah Menu: no menus ; you have to count on your own memory! Bad selling approach! Cleanliness: bad …very bad…tables were dirty. I love Yemeni food and this place made almost hate till I went down the street to another Yemeni place then I got my food memory back.
